I love this bookstore. Family run book store since 77. Recently moved from Broadway to Chevy Chase location (Adams Square) in the city of Glendale. They have a variety of childrens books in Armenian and English, Adult educational books, childrens clothing, traditional costumes, a variety of souvenirs, and much more! Even my 3-year old daughter who is Armenian and Bilingual was engaged with the childrens books (many of them) written in the Armenian Alphabet!! She took over the floor. Proud mama!!In addition, they received some new products that are still in boxes on the floor and are working on diversifying the business. In a week or so, they should have some new products on their shelves. Out with the old, in with the new! The employees are the most friendly, polite, hardworking people I have met in awhile. If you are in the area or nearby, please support this iconic Armenian bookstore!!

An LA institution. Huge variety, well curated. There’s something for everyone. Only place I’ve found with books about LGBT Armenians in both English and Armenian.

Best bookstore and cultural center for Armenians. I leave in Sacramento but I visit this store when ever I get a chance to be in LA. The store owner is very nice and sweet. I highly recommend this place!

They host controversial and very interesting events. They have good variety of rare books. Definitely recommended if you are looking to learn something new about the Armenian heritage.

Forget the history. Forget Ferlinghetti, Ginsberg, Kerouac, Talese. Forget the wet dream of a poetry floor, the activist fliers by the stairs, the feeling that youre standing in a cathedral cramped into a chimney.CAN YOU SAY THEATRE SECTION? No bookstore of this size has such a diverse theatre section as this. Its like a big vat of happy.

This place is best nonsectarian institution in the area to aid in the preservation of Western Armenian culture and history. Arno is a wonderful shop owner and a very charming individual. If you cant find what youre seeking, youll have dedicated staff helping you find that special item.

They have Armenian cultural events there.At my first time visit, I found it to be a very charming place. Keep an eye out for when they have special events.

This bookstore lies to the authors to obtain the books for dirt cheap prices from Armenia and resell with a large premium in the U.S. If you want to support the authors buy from the author directly and avoid this place. Many Armenian authors dont even know their books are being resold with a premium in USA. This is a cheap and shameful way of doing business and is a gross violation of authors rights.

Their online service is not reliable. This is the third week I am trying to place an order, but the service is not responsive. I sent an email to the customer service explaining the problem. I have not received any answer yet and the problem is not fixed.
