Visited the bookstore today to pick up books for next semester (next week). Google shows hours until 4 but really theyre only open until 2pm right now. I arrived at 2:15 and there was still an associate there and they let me in to get my books anyway. They didnt have to do that, but they know how hard scheduling can be, especially when students are getting information that isnt updated.Im truly grateful that they let me get my books without any hassle. I cant imagine other bookstores going the extra distance that ASU bookstores go.

Will not answer the phone. Have tried calling over twenty times throughout the day. West campus and Tempe Campus. Need to ask a simple question before I drive from Buckeye.

I usually have my books shipped to West for convenience. They have a good selection of ASU swag and school supplies.

Plenty of ASU gear to choose from. Staff super friendly. Lots of parking available. Wear your mask.

Its a small, but nice bookstore. The staff is friendly and helpful. If a book isnt available, the staff will help you get it. The bookstore also has a small section with ASU stuff like t-shirts, hats and so on.

Awesome service

Parking is a pain and books not there despite an email stating that they were. All due to an American university using over priced FED EX, rather than the more cost effective United States Post Office with more working hours. However, the staff was friendly!

I love everything they sell here (except for the textbooks)! It is overpriced but sometimes they have some pretty good sales.

I was on a mission for vintage general cuisine cook books- sold 2 of them under 5 dollars. Better than digging through Village thrift and these were the era I was searching for. 2nd to last time- tabs the bf needed were there- good price, ordered well, easy to locate. They have an entire sociology section and when a bookstore actually recognizes Asu West Book Store and not just lumps into Social Sciences thats a bonus- everyones always been friendly when I have asked questions and Ive never had anyone act rude towards me patron or staff. Id recommend it over any corporate store as they probably have what youre looking for.

Good place to get scantrons, but for textbooks its better to get a PDF or a used copy off of eBay, even Amazon is better (Ive gotten brand new lab manuals for way cheaper). This way even if you buy you can sell it after, and renting books is a waste of money.

VERY costly for a Student Union. No lids for large cups l. Cashier did not know where the auditorium was.

A rude manager; whether its from being overworked or stressed; anything that is not a quick and simple sale gets answered with alot of sighs and passive agressive-ness. Never forget your receipt. Okay store if you need something quick but beyond anything simple; I wouldnt bother; just do it yourself online .

As an ASU student, this was the first time (and I can guarantee you this will be the last time) I will ever deal with their book rental service. I have never seen a place more disorganized and slow. I received an email about them arriving at the West campus, so when asked where my books were (books that I had already been charged for) they stated that they were “probably in the back... but there’s a lot of books there.” So when I asked to find mine because I have an assignment tonight, they said no because there’s a lot. This is a BOOKstore, of course there’s a lot of books. As a fellow ASU employee, I understand having to work with systems that may be slow or disorganized; however, I also know as an employee to do whatever I can for the person I am working with. These employees do not want to do any extra work to assist you and will do the bare minimum when interacting with you. They did not care that my assignment was due tonight, and they will not care when I receive a late grade for it. Who knows when I’ll get my book... but I’m hoping sometime this semester. Next time, I will willingly pay more to get all my books from Amazon. At least I’ll know I’ll get them on time and receive great service.

Its a small branch campus bookstore with friendly staff and a selection of things like school supplies, spirit wear, electronic accessories and snack. They also have the occasional book.

The usual campus store, overpriced but the apparel wasnt as overpriced as I have seen some other campus stores the same notebooks I could get at walmart for 50cents

The staff is not friendly or helpful at all. They are actually rude when you go to pick up a book that was purchased online. Also, store should open earlier than 9am as alot of students have early classes which makes it hard to get scantrons or anything other supplies before class starts

Besides staying the obvious about their prices being a war crime, their organization skills are terrible. They have no way of looking up books by title or author if they cant find it on their shelf. Your only hope is to go online and get the code designated to your book so they can search for it that way. Why such an archaic way searching?
