Quaint little location while still catering to a larger group of people than a Mom and Pop store. Plenty of variety with fresh bread and produce. Very clean and tidy, this store is well taken care of plus you must wear a mask inside.

I always enjoy smoking a relaxing bowl of clear then a nice fresh tray with a blue on it here of course I am the only homeless person that cleans up ALL the trash in front of beals, the barber shop, the bank of america and on the side. Yep thats me Im that homeless guy you see all tweaked out cleaning the parking lot

They had there kickstarters mango with a .98 tab per each. When rang them up, they came out 1.38...after showing tge manager tge price tag. He agreed yo only match one at that price, the rest would be 1 38. We were told they didnt want to lose progit on the item...very bad service. On 2-17-21 went back in. Clean store and follow all safety covid protocols. Plenty of parking and well lit. Shelves are full. Better visit. Happy employees. Will yry again soon. Changed 1 star to 3

There was a kind man stocking another isle. I want to say his name was Jim. He was super nice and helpful. He opened one of the cabinets, made a little small talk and asked if there was anything else we needed. He was very personable. This is really something that you don’t see much anymore. Thanks Jim!

Unlike the super Walmart, the neighborhood market is not packed with so many people. You find everything you need and checking out was quick. The greeter at the door was very nice going in and when leaving.This is my new shopping store.

I went to get a oil change. I took a word search full well knowing that there would be a bit of a wait. They were busy but not too busy. I was done in an hour and a half, just as the young man said. For those of you who go to have any kind of work done at the automotive department please do the rest of us a favor and expect to wait longer than you planned. In other words, dont be in a hurry. Grumpy people suck and throw out all kinds of negativity. Just remember that all of the customers who get to experience your performance are laughing at you when you leave. ✌Lori Sue

Okay place to grab possible missed items for a recipe. But selections not big on the rest of the groceries so youre not looking for much good place to go. But remember its Walmart

Friendly cashier. I dont normally shop at this store. So is easy to find staff to tell me where something was, rather than wandering around looking for it. Prices are always good.

The store is always clean with an awesome variety of everything and j move that you can still bring in your own container for spices and such. Great products, lots of freshness and friendly staff.

The store was clean, not very crowded, pleasant people, both customers and staff. Every food item I was looking for was stocked. This was actually the first shopping trip since before Christmas, so I really enjoyed the trip and took my time. ☺

Parking lot is pretty sketchy. Some shelves pretty wiped out. Self check out was a total free for all. A customer loudly complained to the self check out attendant that they (Walmart staff) should be enforcing the mask policy. The self check out attendant/manager person began to explain (loudly) that Walmart does not enforce this policy and became increasingly loud explaining to the entire self checkout audience that unfortunately Walmart puts their employees at risk and its something they are forced to deal with. Not what I was expecting to have happened on a trip to the market.

This is s an ANTI-USVETERAN WALMART. The manager Tom said he would help me return some creamer and then refused to help me once he saw that I was a Veteran. He said that it was at the stores discretion whether or not to do a return but I dont think they refused everybody just because of their discretion. I was picked out because Im a veteran discriminated against specifically.

This is a great to shop African varieties stuff such as men and women African clothes, body oils, pure organic shea butter. 100% Africa black soap and much much good stuff.

The store was well put together and carried pretty much everything that I needed or seen that anybody might need as a pretty good experience it wasnt cramped I wasnt rushed I was able to get through the checkout line experience and with Walmart thats something thats always a plus and I was able to find pretty much everything that I was looking for

I like the convenience and the prices. The deli people are really helpful and also the supervisors. The rest of the staff needs to smile and greet people. Ask if we are ok or need any help. I rarely have any interaction with anyone working there. The fresh fruit options are typical for Wal-Mart. Frys is better for that. Prices are competitive though. They never have the Old Spice body spray I want!There is a pharmacy inside as well.

Always fully stocked. Clean and organized. Instore shopping, must wear masks. Sanitizer at the entrance, cash register and exit. It was pretty busy, full of people tonight. No waiting in line before entering. Staff are nice, helpful and well informed. Shoppers arent as nice though.. not a lot of respect for personal space.

As a family Wal-Mart I am willing to shop here. They are fairly clean and always friendly. Otherwise I will not shop at the larger Wal-Marts.

Im just a delivery driver for walmart. Its always 50/50 on how fast they unload. Cant complain.

Whats disturbing is that they have 1 employee running 6 self check lines and only 1 full service line. I dont remember sending letters about my deep desire to be my own check out clerk but apparently I have no choice. Its getting ridiculous.

Great little store priced right, very clean. Other than not having a fresh select meat department this place is much nicer than Frys and you dont need a card to get the best price..

Rarely disappoints. This store is my run in and out store. They keep it stocked pretty well. The lines are not atrocious and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I have a more enjoyable shopping experience at this particular Walmart.

I have lived at best a quarter mile from this for seven months, yet I have shopped there barely ten times. I usually go a couple of miles down Peoria Ave to a Supercenter Walmart because I need clothes, housewares, or whatnot. Anyway, I have mixed experiences with this neighborhood store. I have trouble finding items because I find the layout unusual. So when Im searching for products, there is usually no employees on the floor, or they are busy, and they tend to ignore customers. However, there are a few employees on the floor whom are extremely helpful. The cashiers have always gone a step above to make my trip easier, as well as other customers also. I have a hard time getting around and lifting, and cashiers and other customers are so very helpful in getting my items out of my cart for me, as well as making sure I have someone in the parking lot to help me load. I feel that is unique to this particular store. There was an older blonde cashier tonight who was a great help to me. That lady has immense patience, and she needs a raise! I hope you enjoy this little store. Thank you.

Its a decent grocery store but one thing I am upset I was told that they have cartons of eggs during this so-called epidemic as I arrived there was no eggs on the Shelf it would be easier not to drive out there it didnt have enough eggs the person I spoke to stated that they were only giving out two cartons per person so they said they had plenty of eggs when I got there it was no eggs not only that is people that are hoarding all the cheap food are making us people that dont make good wages pay for expensive stuff that we cant even afford my grocery used to be like less than a hundred easy over 200 now Im just upset that someone will tell you that theres something there and when you get there theres. Just be honest and say you didnt have enough

It appears their finally keeping it stocked up on stuff. And you cant really beat the prices, And the quality of their food products Is equal or better than other brands.

Waited 10 mins at the deli while the lady was busy helping someone. Didn’t even glance at me or tell me one minute 0 customer service there. I was looking for their hot dogs/corn dogs they make. None of the Walmart employees had any ideas when they put them out. If they work there shouldn’t they know?

GREAT STORE FAST QUICK AND EASY TO SHOP EMPTY

Went to Pharmacy drive up window. Waited 15 minutes, only one person on duty. After 15 minutes suddenly there were 3. Must have all taken break at the same time. Still had to wait another 5 minutes. Drive up is supposed to save time and be faster.

Absolutely terrible, ordered bins online and got a email saying it was ready for pick up. When I tried to call to verify no one answered. I went in and stood there for 30 minutes waiting to finally get my package just for the guy to tell me he checked TWICE and saw nothing and that the package was at the Walmart on 83rd and Peoria. I drove down the street (mind you... knowing it wasn’t at that location because my boyfriend went there around 4pm and they said it wasn’t there) I said, why not just double check?? Went there and Will at the pick up was amazing! He called on five different phones to make sure someone picked up at this location and finally got ahold of the manager after another 30 minutes. Will even stayed overtime just to make sure I was taken care of. When I came BACK to this location one of the cashiers was polite and got Tom the assistant manager to help me finally get my package but he seemed like he was irritated because this became a big ordeal. Tom also stated that the reason why there was any confusion was because there was another name on it (my boyfriend) but when I went in the first time I gave the guy my order number twice, showed him my email confirmation, also the package had my name on it as well. I don’t even know if Tom apologized because at this point I’m annoyed, I have a five year old that I had planned to spend time with but instead it took me an HOUR AND A HALF to simply get two plastic bins... it takes a lot to tick me off let alone get me to a point where I have to write a review so the manager can make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. If you ask me I wouldn’t waste my time. Go the extra 5 minutes to the Walmart on 83rd for a better experience.

This is my go-to spot for quick grocery needs. They keep a relatively clean layout, well stocked and fair priced products. Customer assistance is lacking from most employees but of asked they will help you.

They only had one cashier. With a full store. I waited 10 mins before going to ask Justin at guest services if he can please call for back up. His answer was no. Mind u that he was just standing there doing nothing but looking around. Then I asked him again he said there was no one else that can come up. When I was walking around I saw lots of workers. I also asked if he can jump on a lane he said no. He also turned the lady in front of me away with her 6 small Items .This is the local store and now I’m not sure if I wanna shop here if that’s how we’ll be treated. I had a lot of stuff to go to self check out. I asked another lady on the way out she told me that he could of called somebody up to help. Smh. Come on do better.

This is a Walmart food store. Great inventory of products, lots of cooked foods. I havent gone there and not found an item. Well stocked.

Quick convenient place to shop at

Ease of shopping location. The last two months I have bought bread that was moldy, one day after purchase. Had prepackaged cheese and salami that was marked as good until September that was moldy. Meat has been horrible, tough just plain subpar. They are not good at keeping the store stocked. Perhaps the management needs to pay better attention to whats happening in the store.

Store itself is okay, its the people that shop there are the problem. Basic inventory and a definite quick visit. Employees are mediocre and parking is a cluster F@#&! Although it is close and convenient its a last resort place for me to shop. The Walmart Super Center on 79th & Peoria is just a bigger problem than this one. If only people had more respect and stopped turning everything to S@#&! Not everyone enjoys shopping in the hood and dealing with no common sense and rudeness.

Store looks well stocked,friendly people but for a guy in a wheelchair its not shopper friendly. They have no baskets for me to shop with. I use a manual chair and cant push a cart. They said they had them but got rid of them because people evidently steal them.Well I say replace them for customers that only need a couple things and for people like me that cant push a cart. Looks like Ill have to use another grocery store that has them.
