Great store. The employees are very reasonable. They had a bundle sale of Milwaukee tools that was on sale and sold out but their advertising was still up. They gathered all the stuff for me and still met the advertisement deal. I simply asked and they responded. I know some stores/managers make it a big deal and try to say no, but this employee was polite and stepped up to meet their advertising.**Small note. They do require masks while on store 9/9/2021
As always, Home Depot delivers service you would only expect to find in Soviet Russia.

Ace are great hardware stores and this one is my favorite. It’s amazing how much merchandise they have in stock.
They are usually good. But this time, they were off. Went to refill propane tanks.After the cashier checks, Im told they have them, i stand in line and pay for it.After walking back to my car and getting the empty tanks to where the propane tank cages are, i am confronted by a irate employee. we dont have any tanks. Why are you here?The kind cashier ( young kid), who checked me out, came over, telling him that the manager told him that they had them.This irritated the other guy even more and went off on this embarrassed kid.He apologized furiously and kindly.I carry my empty tanks back to my car. Now I have stand in line in customer service to get my refund.Total 90 minutes wasted.Well!Hope theyll get back to their old form.The gas station next door. The entríe process took all of 5 mins with cheerful folks.

This is a really great Home Depot. As a new home owner, the staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable when I don’t know what I need for a job. Online pickups and returns are also super easy here.

Found what I was looking for and was assisted when items were purchased. Helpful personnel at checkout. Pleasant quick trip and items well marked. Lots of personnel around, just have to flag them down.
Bad For the most part they stop selling all $5.00 Reading glasses they use to have them in all different sections of all the stores but now they only have it at self check out at one Location of the store and its only a foot half display. And they never have the high prescription of 300 and get they always have a lot of the ones that no one uses which is 150 to 250. Strength. and they had only like 6 complete glasses. What they needed was to always have more inventory because they sold so many every time because they broke every week. I cannot believe I Used to buy 10 at a time... of them and they dont sell them anymore used to buy 10 of them at a time. Ohare loss as well

Bad experience. Asking for assistance and explanation on something one employee end up getting mad . He’s words” what’s wrong with you can’t you understand? For god sake”Well if understood it I will not ask for assistance . Give me a lousy explanation and expect me to understand it right away!

Horrible customer service. Employees trying to close the store early will shoo you out the door and then literally walk up to you in the parking lot and rush you to empty your cart and turn the parking lot lights off on you. Felt like we were getting stared down while we were shopping even though we made it out before closing time
Chuck and his colleague were super helpful. Managed to overcome 4 different HVAC technicians struggles that I hired to fix my AC unit. Had no AC for a week during a heat wave. With their experience and knowledge I was able to implement on my unit, and was able to have my AC working instantly. 🤘🤘

If I could give 0 stars I would, short story bought 10 cabinets from anther depot, tried to return 2 here and buy 3 more and get the 10% discount and they flat out said no since it’s from a different depot. So my $188 in opened resellable return cost them $900 in sales that I was purchasing today that now the Mt Prospect Depot will now be getting, I will never shop at this location again even though it’s on my way home, I’ll go the extra 5 miles out of the way.

Compared to other Home Depots, this locations customer service is poor- staff are somewhat knowledgeable about products, customer service quality isnt consistent, and it depends on who assists you. It is well stocked for a local needs. Plenty of parking!
If you gotta go....stop here! The rustic 1960s layout with the 1980s tile is way better than soiling the drivers seat of your Ford fiesta

Always the worst experience at this location. Its a struggle to spend your money at this location, a consistent issue.
We waited for 20 minutes for our curbside order and no one ever came out. We watched as tons of employees helped other customers, took in carts, etc. and no one thought to see why we were still sitting there after 20 minutes...Never had an issue at any other Home Depot. Historically, we have always had bad service at this location. It’s too bad!

The Home Depot store in Glenview is a poorly managed store. Most employees aren’t motivated to help (not all). Poor stock control. Items shown as available on the store website are not available at store. I would like to rely on the Glenview Home Depot for building materials, but after multiple attempts it is a waste of time.
Safe here during tornado storm thanks to their excellent staff. They very promptly and efficiently got their customers to a safe area in the store. We are all comfortably sitting in their break room watching the weather on t.v.
Used to have great service, now you cant get through to anyone. Had doors installed and two of them dont close properly, called Home Depot for two weeks and still have not gotten anyone to come inspect and even acknowledge the problem. Texted the installer personally who said his hands are tied until the store tells him what to do.
Had issues with my online order but thanks to this great lady in customer service it was all resolved. Good customer service!

We came here because my sister found online different microwaves on sale. By reading the reviews she had 3 brands in mind. They had a cheaper price of a G.E. Microwave in all White and under $100.00 she added a service package which helps if it blows another fuse, doesnt work right. They will replace it for free. Smart thing to have on appliances. Our microwave which died on 7-2-20 was a Hamilton Beach we only paid $68.00 from Wal-Mart with a service package. We had that for only 13 months. This one it was $84.00 not bad for a G.E. They only had 2 White ones left. One in a damaged box one in a perfect box in the back of the damaged box. So, we bought the perfect box. And went on shopping for other things. Before the 4th of July.

Just as I walked into HD, 2 employees nearly walked right into us. Three feet later another employee was walking with his face covering hanging around his neck. A moment later he sneezed without covering his face and continued to work. At the very least, wash the hands. I will not be coming back here for a long while. Management really needs to do a lot better enforcing social distancing and usage of face coverings.A bandana that is not secured under the chin is very ineffective. Corporate should be providing proper face coverings to their employees.

Its about the same as any other Home Depot by my estimation, but I had issues with the Lumber Dept employee who refused to cut the wood that I purchased & a shelf that I brought in to be resized.Im not a customer who will throw a fit when told no- but I ended up giving Lowes down the road a call, & they said theyd help me use their panel saw to cut appropriate lengths.I was really confused as to why the Home Depot employee wouldnt help me (as Ive had small boards cut at HD in the past) & annoyed that I made an unnecessary stop. Im not sure if the employee didnt want to stop what he was working on or if he was just misinformed on their cutting-capabilities. (He did not say anything about a saw being down for maintenance or anything of that sort.)Either way, it sent me to the competitor. Which is fine, but generally not a recipe for success.

I dont typically shop at this location as there is one closer to my house, but the few times I come here its been good. The staff is nice and helpful and customer service staff are quick and easy to work with. I have had few items shipped to this store and I am in and out in no time.

Ive been here multiple times to pick up random things, it can be hard to find staff when its busy, but thats the same at every store everywhere. Everyone is very nice. You can look online to make sure they have the product you need before you walk in the door.

Probably the best Home Depot Ive been to. All the staff are friendly and ask if you need help and are willing to find someone if its not their section. Everyone Ive spoken to within departments is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

It is home depot, it is a chain, but they always help me when i come in all wide eyed trying to remember what the husband told me to buy. Not to be stereotypical, but i just have no clue. They always direct me to the right spot and a quick picture to the hubby confirms they knew where to send me .
I love this location! We were surprising my mom by decorating her house for her - she recently got diagnosed with cancer and doesnt have the energy to do it herself. George, one of the employees, helped us pick everything out that we needed! He was beyond helpful and made the surprise that much better.
Short run to Home Depot for Mumms to brighten up the front porch & yard...that time of year. Good selection of colors. Nice tight blooms in 10 diameter plastic tubs/pots. Got 12 standard 10 pots & 2x 10 hanging pots @ $12 / each.total bloom canopy of each is about 18. Nice - burnt red, yellow, amber, white. Fit all 14 pots on one flatbed cart - sweet. Checkout was fast, cashier very pleasant. Rolled to pickup truck, loaded pronto...on our way, whole transaction took 10 minutes. Good job Home Depot.

Horrible experience. Had plumbing to do so I needed to ask the associate about the right washer. Took fifteen minutes to hail one of these down (most of them were standing around in the aisles having conversations). Associate who finally was hailed was Russian, spoke little to no English, ignored everything I said. He walks over to a washer rack that was empty and says without checking we are out of part. Walks away without comment.It turned out the part was there but it took me another twenty minutes to find it. I then asked another associate fro plumbers grease. Of course, she didnt know so she summons aforementioned Russian. What kind of plumbers grease you want? he says Me: any kind. Adhesive? Me: no plumbers grease. Hands me adhesive and then walks away cursing me in Russian.Finally at the register I couldnt check out because nothing was marked. Of course check person once she could be persuaded to end her conversation with another associate had no idea about what the part was. She walks off with another associate and returns with a different part entirely.I asked to see the store manager and the kid pretended to try and summon him, then hung up the phone and walked off.This must be the worst run store in America. All of these positive reviews are obviously fabricated.DO NOT SHOP HERE EVER. Staff can barely speak English by and large, have zero product knowledge universally, and would share it with you if they had. Just awful. I do not as a rule complain but I was in there over an hour in the middle of the afternoon when the store was mostly empty. Better off laying every single worker off. It would beat the service I received.

The store is a little smaller than some of the other suburban stores - the third smallest in the country according to one employee - but it has everything youd expect and the staff is knowledgeable.During a recent trip I made a return but forgot my receipt. This wasnt an issue and within about 2 minutes I had store credit and was on my way.

HD is my favorite relaxing adventure. This store is not very big, but I always find what I need. Staff is really nice and most of the time helpful. Store is organized and clean.
Went to buy a snow blower (in January) and they only had two (very expensive, ~$900) in the store, both of which were in boxes so we couldnt see them. All other models we found on the home Depot website were not sold in the store. There werent even any models on display to see or try out. You would think that they would be ready to sell them in January in Chicago, especially after our recent snow storm. Lowes had only a few models in the store, but at least they were in stock and readily available to see and test out.
Except for the cashiers and maybe 2 department employees, the rest of the workers just kind of seem to slowly wonder around, completely oblivious to customers looking for help... you actually have to chase down the quicker ones who intentionally dodge you, but usually it’s a matter of trying multiple times to interrupt the stationary ones’ lengthy personal conversations. When you do finally get some help, their product knowledge is comedically bad. The whole experience is laughably bad. 75% of the time I bought something based on the “help” I got I ended up having to return it.

The people are not too nice and not that helpful. One person at the entrance was a little rude when I asked him where the coat rack section is, and he guided me into the the wrong direction. I had to ask at least 1 or 2 other people the same question to get me to the correct aisle. After finding the best choice I can find, a somewhat nice person helped me understand why I got the best choice but instantly turned away from me before I could ask one more question (i.e. my only other question I had). I love the home depot, but this location does not do that good of a job the way other locations do.
We needed a particular saw that online Home Depot said was in stock at the store but we couldnt find on the shelf. Two associates helped us track it down and gave us tips on using it. Were definitely coming back.

Staff is helpful. Went here on black Friday, after spending time at another nearby Home Depot. The other stores computer said they had 5 in stock of a tool I wanted, but it could not be found in the store.Traveled to the Glenview store, and with a little effort, a staff person helped me find the item and test it (specialty work platform), which I then purchased.
Just your average Home Depot. Employees walk by you and pretend they dont work there to try and avoid human interaction. Dude at the self check out lane was busy socializing with another employee instead of doing his thing.
Easy return. Also an employee gave my kid a pack of crayons out of nowhere
