Customer service is a hard one but Frank did change my mood. I order tires days ago and they never showed up. The lady at the front real was no help at all. These guys rock! if you are the general manager of the store, Stormy deserves a raise. so I was passing through Glenwood Springs with my vintage white Jeep Cherokee and hit a pothole on I 70 which caused A steering wobble. The service was excellent. Had a blow out in our RV yesterday and they had us in and out in about an hour with 4 new tires. Had a couple of options in stock and did an amazing job.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at Big O Tires. Counter staff were rude, wait was way to long, and techs had all the time in the world to do their job. There is no sense of urgency on anyone’s part in this store. Everyone walks around as slowly as possible to make sure they do as little as possible. HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT COME HERE.

I stopped here because I had a slow leak in a tire. They had it repaired and I was back on the road in 30 minutes with no charge! Outstanding, polite service!

While passing through town we ran over a nail and needed a tire to be fixed. We went to Discount Tire and they said they could fix it in an hour. After waiting two hours we decided to try Big O. They got us in right away at no charge. Great Setvice!

I purchased my tires from the glenwood Big O. The vehicle I bought them for is a summer only vehicle, so maybe 1500 miles a year. At 5 k I had the tires rotated by Big O, they scratched a wheel but rotated the tires. Now I have 10k on the tires. I take them in to get rotated and I am told since the tires are over 5 years old Big O cannot touch them. it does not matter that I bought them from there it does not matter that there is only 10k on the miles the rule is black and white...Why would I pay for balance and rotation if it is only 5 years???Thankfully Discount Tire is now in Glenwood so you never ever have to go to Big O!

Took my truck to get alignment worked on since they did it last week for the body shop my truck was being worked on took it there for an alignment. 2 days later I heard a pop and my whole steering turned left. Thought big o could fix it since they were the only ones that touched any of those components. Well surprise they couldnt align it for me without me spending thousands of dollars on new parts. Thanks for nothing big o You Suck.

This place was nice!! We got stranded with car problems. They were awesome and charged a fair price.

While I did show up 20 minutes before they closed, I was turned away having in stick tires installed. My front 2 tires on my Corvette were worn on the inside through the metal wires in the tires. Needless to say it was an unsafe situation and Big O was the only one who had my size tires in stock. After they got the tires down and brought in and they rang yo the full cost including installation and disposal, they informed me they could not do it today. Big O has always helped me buying tires and installing them in the parking lot. Because the car can not go on their lifts. I tip the workers $40 each for the hassel each time. I ended up buying the tires and going next door to discount tire to have them installed in which they were more than happy to do so and steal their competitions customer. My question is this Big Os policy to have customers fend for themselves to install their own tires leaving them in a very unsafe situation so the front desk employees can get off work at 4:55 instead of 5:10? Big O fail, customer lost, doing anything I can to stop anyone I know from using them.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. They tried scamming me for my alignment. They said the cost to fix my alignment was $3,000. I went to the big o tires in basalt and only paid $150. They will scam you. I don’t even think they are actual mechanics

Went for a tire rotation and balance 45 minutes before closing and they turn me away because there guy didnt want to do it if I had the option to rate less than one star i would I have bought a few set of tire from big o and like them but will be finding a new dealer to get them from the on in Glenwood springs will not be get any more of my business

Came as an alternative to Discount after they pushed a little too hard for new tires when I brought a set of tires... They didnt push at all here, and I really appreciated it, just maybe wish for slightly quicker service times but, that can be lived with 👍👍

I talked with Victor last week he set me up with 4 tires to be mounted on Satruday. I pull in he says about an hour and my truck is done in 1hr and 3 minutes. Very happy with this service and will probably start coming here with my other vehicles.

On Saturday 11/14/2020 Big o tires was to perform a warranty on a tire sensor that had malfunctioned. When i brought my vehicle into the location i described to Hugo the store manager what had happened at another location and asked for him to make sure the sensor was the right length for the after market wheels that are on the truck. I specifically warned them that if they put the wrong sensor in it would hit the brake caliper and sheer off. I know this because the other big o tires had done just that. I also asked if they would put on my snow tires and wheels after they had fixed the sensor. Later in the day I get a phone call stating they had fixed the sensor and i should be good to go but they were unable to mount the snow tires and wheels i had requested because of the lift on my truck. When they mounted them they hit the ball joint and scratched my wheels. That evening I drive my vehicle home and when i get home i hear a hissing sound like i have a flat tire. I check the wheel and notice that they had put the wrong sensor in my wheel and it had sheered off. Because big o did not reset the tire pressure system my vehicle did not notify me that there was an issue. I called big o and told them there was an issue and at this time they were about to close and said there was nothing they could do for me and i would have to call on 11/17/2020 to speak with the manager hugo. I then had to have my truck towed to a local dealership. Upon inspecting the tire it was noticed that because of the loss of pressure and driving 16 miles to my home the tire had been damaged due to the negligence of the Big o staff. On 11/17/2020 i called and spoke to hugo who stated that they did nothing wrong and they put the proper sensor for the truck in the wheel but did not put the proper sensor in for the actual wheel that is on the truck. He told me if i had a issue i would have to take it up with the broomfield big o tires because they were the ones that had put in the initial sensor that failed.

Called around 2 to make an appointment for an oil change. Guy tells me they don’t do appointments and to just show up cause they weren’t busy.I just called to check just before getting there to make sure they were still free. Another guy tells me I should’ve made appointment and they are “done for the day.” overall really unprofessionalNot coming back on Monday

I live in Eagle County where we have a Big O Tire store. However, it does not compare to the service, quality, reliability, and reputation of the Glenwood Springs store. When my car needs service, Id much prefer driving 45 minutes to Glenwood as opposed to five minutes to our local store. I always leave knowing my car is just as reliable as when I arrived. Thank you!

Pros: 1) affordable oil change with $10 off coupon2) affordable tire rotation3) in the past, good serviceCons: 1) did not put in the correct tire pressure. Far too low.2) were off by 6,000 miles on the Next Service sticker. This could cause serious damage3) I reported the problem one hour later that day and was told bring it in. They dont seem to care that their service was poor.Today I had an oil change and the tires switched to studded snows. It took about 1.5 hours which is not too bad with the seasons changing but, after I left, I noticed my right front tire was low. Inside the car, the tire pressure warning light was illuminated. Then, when I looked up at the Next Service sticker on the windshield I noticed the miles to next change was wrong. It was off by 6,000 miles. So now I wonder....if they forget to put in the correct tire pressure, if they dont put in the correct mileage on the Service sticker, what else did they forget. Did they top off my fluids? Did they put in the correct type of oil. It this happens again, I will not be back.

These guys install customer parts but be wary when it comes to weekends. Be there early and you can get out of there fast but be in the afternoon be ready for a 5 hour ordeal. Tire selection is fine here and service is nice

I had just recently had another Big O install winter tires on my SUV. During my first highway drive it was obvious that the tires were out of balance. I called them about an hour out from Glenwood and they said to come on in. Once there, it took about 20 minutes and they had me dialed in. No more shimmy in the steering wheel. Service was good. I had my tires and oil changed. Its first come, first serve and i had several customers ahead of me so i i ended up waiting a solid hour and forty five. If you want faster service i reccomend you show up early or on slow days

I am happy with my tires and most of my past service at Big O in Glenwood, although this past fall my daughter brought her car to switch summer tires to winter (which were purchased at Big O) and they kept her summer tires, which were in fine condition. I had to call and make a special trip to Glenwood to go in and pick them up, they did not ask her if she wanted them back??! This week I had a leak in a tire, while at the service desk, the young women was having a personal conversation with another co-worker while looking at her cell phone. I stood at the counter, in front of both employees for several minutes until they finished their personal conversation with no acknowledgment to me, what so ever, very rude!

The technicians are kind and thats the only reason I am giving it 2 stars. I came in for snow tires. was told they had them in stock. with a 4 hour wait time. I needed them badly so stayed. my turn comes 3 & 1/2 hours later and they tell me that the tires they have arent the tires I need. but they will order them and when I come back they will get me right in for wasting my time. I thought this was acceptable so I agreed. two days later and the tires are in so I have come to have them installed. well apparently getting me right in means putting me in line (I am still waiting and its been 2 hours with the car not even in the shop yet). when asked their excuse is that they are studding the tires which apparently takes several hours. I watched a video of a tire being studded. One tire took less than 5 minutes. I am very disappointed that they could not or, more likely, would not keep their word. I will go somewhere else next time where they wont waste my time twice.

Dropped off the truck with a broken brake line. Picked up a truck with almost no brakes. Watch these people. Ive turned over my case to corporate. --!UPDATE!-- I took the truck to the DEALERSHIP to actually fix the problems i was having. Turns out that Big O Tires never bleed the brakes on my truck after the fix. !!! BIG OH NO! Especially when ED the ASSIST Manager says i need ALL different types of parts to have my brakes fixed again and all it was is air in the brake line, so i stopped off and told ed today about it and showed him the recipts and he told me i was WRONG! EVEN THOUGH MY BRAKES ARE FINE NOW! NO NEW MASTER CYLINDER OR FRONT CALIPERS!

I came to Big O Glenwood this morning to have a set of winter tires switched out to my summer tires. Ed got me right in and had the work done in an hour. I asked him if the winter tires were marked for location so I can keep my proper rotation next winter. He told me they dont mark the tires unless I ask them to do so ahead of time. Really? I asked Ed, how am I supposed to know where the tires were previously located on the car? He told me that I need to just line em up. Line em up to what? The horizon? All the money and time for rotations for the last 2 years is all down the drain. All because a tire shop wont take 5 seconds to write RF, RR, LF and LR on them. All the tire shops I have ever done business with have always written the tire location on them. Im positive Ed makes sure that his tires are rotated properly. Not mine. Cant go the extra mile huh? I stopped in to try to find two 185/60R15 tires for a small 2004 Toyota Echo. Passing through from Southern California in the course of a long western road trip. Tires were marginal before I left home but still had some time to replacement. I just developed a bubble on one tire so things got critical. In the Carbondale/Glenwood/Rifle area I was unable to find this size, several dealers had to order it, etc. even Walmart didnt have it. I stopped by Big O and they offered me their own tire in that size, which they did happen to have; but the bill would be $299 for two, installed. Ouch!!! Nearby Alpine tire had said $221 installed for two Hankook quality tires but they had to order them and it would have taken time I didnt have. Ive never paid $150 a tire installed, or even anywhere near that, in this car, even in expensive L.A. So Im driving east towards Denver with the bubble and hoping to find what I need. Maybe not the best decision from a safety standpoint but Im not going to be taken advantage of. I inquired locally and they said this place has reputation of being expensive. They didnt seem especially sympathetic about my situation. Summarized by Just pay up.

Such a pleasurable experience!I had an issue with my tire loosing air and needing to add air every week or so (on the one of the tires I purchased with biotires before). I talked to Victor, who is very nice and polite, and asked how long will it take to look at my car. He said about 20 min and it was. I went to a shopping mall for 30 min and it was done when I was back, so maybe it was even faster.There was a nail in my tire that they removed and patched the hole.

Horrible customer service. Very unknowledgeable staff. Brought in a tire that was losing air every couple days. After waiting 3 hours, I was told the tire was fine and pushed out the door. Took it to Meadow Mountain Tire next door and issue was fixed in 30 minutes. Was told by a Big O in Denver that this location is known as a joke throughout the company. Anyone in the area will tell you there is a 3 hour minimum wait time.

Had a front end bearing go bad on my truck pulled the bearing off but the hub had to be pressed out. I dont have a press of my own so I took it over to Big O and asked if they could do it. They hit me for an hour of labor even though book time said .5 hours to do this job. After reading many of the other comments about the Big O in Glenwood it seems like I am not the only person who has been gouged by this place. If you are in Glenwood do yourself a favor and just go to Alpine tire they will get you taken care of.

Worst experience at a shop ever! I sat there for 3 hours waiting for a basic alignment after being told on the phone it would take 30 minutes. I was also quoted 89.99$ and got a bill for nearly $700 to replace parts that had nothing to do with aligning my vehicle. You might be able to fool soccer moms and people with no mechanical knowledge but this shop adds parts and labor that are not needed just to increase profits. Find a real auto shop and avoid any big o tires like the plague.

Awful service. Every time I go here, they tell me I need parts that I dont, they charge a ridiculous amount for not knowing what theyre talking about. Best bet is discount tire. Alignment at the Honda dealership, mechanics of your choice (plenty of them in town so you dont have to go here.)

Im not to ally impressed with Big O. They have the best prices around, with fast service and friendly people, which warrants the 3 stars. But my problem is after the initial purchase. Ive been in twice to fix a leaking tire and it has never been fixed and I need to go in again, but maybe to a different big O. Also, I decided to get an oil change because I didnt have time to do it myself and they did it wrong, living a second seal on my filter, causing it to leak profusely. Had to get it replaced. So I recommend big O to buy the tires if you cant find a good set online, and have them mounted and balanced. But leave the oil changed for self service or go somewhere else.

I was quoted a certain amount of money for work to be done and when I got there, they increased the price. I also inquired how much for brakes on the front (they are in need of pads). They gave me an estimate of $500 for the front and another $500 for the rear. What a joke! They must have included rotors, pins, etc. but I dont need all of that. Resurfacing, perhaps. But, not a full replacement. On top of that, their estimate is almost double over everyone else. Would NOT recommend.

I bought tires from Tire rack and I was told to go here to get them on and I wish there was another option but they got them on and it took awhile and I had to go back because they couldnt find my rim covers that came with my new tires Tire rack called and made them fix their error.

Thought my experience might be different, even though I had heard the horror stories. Sadly not the case.Quoted a priced, charged more when I arrived, lugs put on too tight, had to drive back to get them to loosen them, told Id have to wait 3 hours even though I made an appointment the day before, they suggested I drive to the Glenwood branch, they were mildly better, but they still missed 2 of the lugs.Would have given 1 star but the customer service of Daniel and Victor was excellent. Seems like they are plagued by mismanagement and shady sales tactics.Save yourself the headache and dont even give this place a chance.

Ive been buying my tires here for years. Not the cheapest place, but I think worth it. I have never had a bad interaction with the staff. They are always friendly. Most of the reviews on here are people complaining about waiting, I think it is pretty obvious that automotive work doesnt happen in five minutes.

I gave them a chance even after all the bad reviews,I was passing through on the way to Minnesota n got a flat tire at 3 in the morning waited till 7 am for the shop to open to see what they could do for me.the person in charge was probably the most unprofessional I have ever encounter, no customer service training at all..told me they didn’t have my tire that I could buy 4 different tires n would be there in like 4 hrs or I could wait 3 4 days to get a new tire lol I couldn’t believe what he was telling me when I asked excuse me he then started to basically yell like a lil school boy..the reason I’m writing this is not to bash the company I’m sure they care but this individual was a real POS..I ended up going to Midas few miles up the road they worked with me n got me on my way in a few hrs very helpful very professional..maybe it was the way I looked that made this individual try to act that certain way..I stopped at another big on the way home to get my tire retork in Avon col man them boys was super cool n friendly what a difference in customer service..don’t go to this location is you’re from outta town or may look a different race they won’t treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve as a customer!!!!!!!!!

About 17 years ago I had my car alignment done there. A week later I was driving through Iowa at 1:00 a.m. and my car went into a skid and I had no steering. Called the tow driver/mechanic shop. They told me they didnt tighten up my tie rod. Cost me $1000.00 to repair. I had my 8 year old daughter in the car. Tried to get Big O to reimburse me. Mr. Theisen, one of the owners, lied to me. He said He asked the mechanics and they didnt remember my car being in the shop. I had two witnesses that day that saw me at the shop. He never asked if we were okay. Didnt offer to give us our money back for their mistake. I will never ever go to Big O again. Only care about money. Not safety of people on the roads.

My Wife took her car there to have her tires rotated. They told her that she needed new brake pads. The front pads are worn out and the rear pads are 80 to 90 percent gone was what the tech told her. I went to the parts store and bought new pads without looking first. When I pulled the wheels off I found that all four pads were almost in new condition. This is a crooked shop, avoid if you can. I am giving a 1 star because that is as low as it gets. BTW I like Big O Tires, but not this shop.

Gave these guys a couple chances. They cant get an alignment correct. The last time they left the steering adjuster loose. Just not safe! Use them at your own risk. Bad workmanship!

Tried to order tires here twice, they said theyd have them in a few days. Heard nothing back, both times! Finally just went to discount tire who got them ordered and on. Will never go back, horrible customer service!

Zack was the absolute worst. Arrived at 7:02 for an alignment but he said his alignment guy doesnt get in till 8. Showed no empathy, offered no alternative (such as Ill make sure you get in first if you come back at 8), and even told me to quote stop b*tching about it. Real pieces of work that guy is. Will encourage all others from doing business here

Updated post: When first dealing with big o I was truly upset by the experience. How ever when I brought it up to their local manager everything was handled with the utmost care and professionalism! I truly appreciate the honesty and help they have provided me after the bad experience.

This bad experience resulted from the sale of set of tires back on June 29, 2018 at your Glenwood franchise. Upon inspection after installation I discovered that the tires as mounted were not a replacement of the previous Legacy Tour+ I had asked for. They were Sumitomo HTR. Hernan, the sales person: these are what you agreed to when I showed you the quote. Me: Are these as good? Sales: Yes. Fast forward to my free rotation with less than 15K miles on these tires (rotated once). Same shop, now talking to Ed, the mgr. Ed: These tires are worn out, youve got 4, 4, 6, 5 left on these. Me, after relating the above Just as good from the original sale at his shop, Thats just one third of the rated life of these tires. Ed: We can sell you the same ones at a substantial discount. Me: No, I want Legacy Tour+, your Sumitomo product is unsatisfactory. Ed: We can sell you Legacy Tour+ for ~$480. Me thinking, I paid $500 for a set of these back in 2015, this is not making me happy. The tires I bought new are worn out at 15K miles, the wrong ones your sales guy sold me as equivalent to the ones I came in wanting, and this is your shop. Your warranty doesnt add up and now youre fast talking me. I said: Put the 5 and 6 in the front, rotate them, Im not buying new tires from you. I wont be buying Big O (Ive been a customer since the mid 90s) any time soon. Ed was in close consultation with Hernan back in June re: the sale of the tires I got that were worn out at 15K miles. Hernan looked me in the eye assuring me the quality of my purchase. During my recent rotation, Ed didnt remember Hernan, then he did. Things started to not add up. Ed: You didnt rotate these when you should have. Me thinking, then why the even wear? All four of these are all worn out, this is BS, dont blame me for these tires failing to perform. I live in another part of the state. Maybe Ed had never expected to see me again when he coached Hernan on the sale. In any case, this was not customer service. Bye.

Okay? So call someone in California then. ****update went to fill my washer fluid today (less than 24 hr after big o tried to rip me off) and I found that they left a giant wrench in my car as well! I have been using the Glenwood location for the 4 years I have lived in Colorado. I have purchased 4 sets of tires and get all of my oil changes with them. They have always been helpful and courteous

They did a great job taking care of my Wifes car.

Dont buy tires here. They advertise if you arent happy just bring them back. This is such a lie. My tires were out of round and the big o in Grand Junction is the tire store who told me this. I purchased the expensive tire warranted and this store would not take them back or replace them. They were brand new tires. The Hispanic manager told me that my wheel was bent. My car doesnt shake when I have my winter tires on so I know thats not true but the kicker is that the other store took them off and ran them on their tire machine and told me they were out of round but didnt have my tire in stock.The warranty made no difference and NO, they dont take back your tires. No wonder the lady on their commercial through the tires through the window, Ill bet that really did happen.

Very frusterating that I have to call atleast 4 times and annoy guys before you can even pick it up to talk! For background, i have run big o tires on all of my vehicles for the past 15 years. Two bad experiences in a row at the glenwood shop. First experience I brought a jeep Cherokee in for basic oil change, tire balance and rotate and an alignment. After 2 hours the tech started to give me my keys and realized that the balance, rotation and aligned had not been done. 1.5 hours later and the tech then tried to up sell my service trying to 2 hours to the already 3+ hour visit. Most recently I came in with two slow leaks in big o brand tires on my pickup and also wanted a balance/rotation. 2.75 hours later and my truck is still sitting in line have no service even started. At times there were 5 techs in the office running the 3 desks. I was told the delay was becauae I was the last in line although I brought the truck in at 2:45 pm and other customers came in after myself and left prior. After 3.5 hours sitting and waiting with no communication from any staff, only one leak was even attempted to be repaired, no balance, no rotation, no repair on the other leaking tire....I waited 3 and a half hours for a single tire patch to be kicked out at closing time...Time will tell if the patch even holds.I will never return to this shop, will recommed to everyone i know to avoid big o at all costs and will likely discontinue putting big o tires on any of my vehicles due to the extremely poor service I have received on multiple occasions

Horrible service, and wouldnt honor warranty. Go to discount tire, they actually treated me like a human.
