My wife and I ordered our sectional in Dec 2020. We were told it may take a while due to covid and the color and material my wife picked out. When the first date came and went they apologized and said that they are still waiting. A few more months went by and still they were polite and apologized for the delay. The new sectional arrived yesterday and even though there was some question about some items, the delivery team was patient, polite and professional about the process. I have to really give Jeff some notice. I at times was difficult due to wait time. Jeff was always polite, professional and willing to work to make us happy! I highly recommend this store for any needs!!!!

I was looking for bedroom furniture and Jernigan Furniture has alot to choose from. I found a bedroom set that I really liked. My salesman James was very patient and helpful. My gorgeous furniture arrived today as promised! White glove delivery was perfect, the drivers were very courteous and did an excellent job. High quality furniture we had a door on our entertainment center delivered with a crack because the wood had a knot in it they ordered us a new door with no questions bought a couch and a coffee table also no pressure from the sales staff but they gave us the proper attention and answered all our questions.

I just wanted to share a couple of recent experiences about Jernigan Furniture. Several months ago I purchased a recliner from them. I have since returned and inquired a couple of times about Flexsteele living room furniture. While they were willing to price match, they still wanted to charge me $99 delivery. Another store, which is much farther away, gave me free delivery so I purchased from them instead. A few days ago I returned to Jernigan once more. I had all but made up my mind to purchase an Amish built dining set that I previously asked about. Upon entering the store, I heard one person say to another you have a customer as if they didnt want to assist me. I walked around eyeing the item I was going topurchase. No one ever came to assist me. It was funny though, a man pulled up on a pick-up truck and just about as soon as he entered the store someone came to assist him. As I left the store, I gave a glance to the people still sitting at the desk and shook my head. Jernigan furniture cost themselves two sells totalling over $5k over a $99 delivery fee and their unwillingness to get up to assist a former customer.

I was recommended by my uncle (Bobby Long) to try Jernigans because he had used them for 30 years and had no problems. I decided to do that since I wanted something with quality that would last a long time. Well, it didnt. I ordered from them 2 motorized recliners with remotes for $3500 on July 2nd 2020 and was told it would take 8 weeks to receive. We didnt get the recliners until October 7th. I was never called after that initial delay and it was never communicated that it wouldnt be in for another month. We had to call. When we received the recliners - they were totally different from each other which is odd because theyre the same recliner. One reclined with your head almost to the floor and the other wouldnt recline enough. Around December/January I called the Manager, Jeff and he stated that someone would come out and look at it. I explained the problem and that the motors were also extremely loud and that Lazyboys shouldnt do that. Weve had those all our lives and never had an issue. Shortly after that call, the mechanism for lowering the chair broke completely and wouldnt lower at all. The guy that fixes the furniture (Chuck) came out looked at it and said the frame was bent and it had to be a manufacturer issue, the bar in it was twisted and upside down. Well, we asked if a grown man of 200lbs would have broke it and he said No, these are built to hold 350 pounds. This is a manufacturer defect and well have to order parts. I dont know why they didnt just replace the chair but they didnt. Another month went by and finally they picked it up on February 22nd with the well have it for 2 weeks and return it to you. Its now April 21st and they STILL havent fixed the chair. Its been in their possession for 2 months and no work has been done on it. Ive talked to the repairman three times and at first it was Ill have it done by April 8th or 9th. Ive had this chair for only 2 months but I ordered it last July...explain this to me. My recommendation is to go somewhere else. You can buy 12 lazyboys for what I paid for 2 and if each last only 5 years, then your money is better spent elsewhere. I can understand wanting to sell products, but why dont you make the customer you sold something too happy first and fix their stuff? Its common sense. They could have just as easily ordered a new one, but...its all about the bottom line and not the customer. Now, the other recliner is doing the same thing and well probably have that taken for another 3 months. Economically, it just doesnt make sense to go here for furniture. We bought a dining room set, a livingroom set and recliners totaling $8000 and I regret every penny spent. Now, were being told that itll be ready on April 29th...Im not holding my breath at this point. I dont like excuses/putting blame on someone else. If your product is the problem - then just fix it...in a concise timeline. We went in today to say Either fix the recliner or give us a refund and what does the owner say...Well, Ill have an answer for you this evening! No, its my chair and my money that was spent - Im just gonna call my credit card company and ask for a chargeback. Youre literally saying you dont care about your reputation as a business.
