Do not shop here. This place is a joke. They use a 3rd party delivery service. Purchased couch months ago of course with Covid inventory was not available. Understand this process. What I have a issue with is delivery got pushed from 3rd week of August to first week of September. Store called and confirmed this delivery date. Took off work and no one showed. Not even a phone call. Had to call to find out why it wasn’t delivered. Could not get any answers. Was told I would get a refund for delivery. I did receive my refund. Was told delivery would be following week. Called them to find out delivery got pushed another week. Wow all this information I had to find out without someone calling to let me know. Good thing I didn’t take off work again. All I want is my couch that has been paid for. The customer service is absolutely sub par. This experience has been awful. I will not be doing business here ever again. I advise others do the same.
We walked in and thought we knew what we wanted. We were immediately asked if we needed anything and told them what we were looking for.She took us straight there and gave us even more options and colors that we ended up falling in love with a storage option in white.Only took off one star because once we sat down to finalize the purchase it took way longer than we expected.Overall, really happy with our purchase and the help we got.
This location is a joke. I bought this couch last nov and it has broken twice and since July of this year I have been trying to get this UCB fixed and have the parts. They say I cannot return the couch to get something different that a third party is the only one that can give permission which doesnt make sense at all. I have told Facebook twitter news channel 2 and 5 about this Im so upset Im so stressed and anxiety. No one has even offered anything for all the stress and anxiety I just keep being told I will get a call tmw.

Do not pay in advance for an order….Everything was fine in regard to the ordering process. Ordered a couch in July was told we would get it in October. Then I called to check the status… now saying January of next year. We called and left 3 messages at the store and emailed asking to get more info and no one will respond to our calls. I get that this is a problem for everyone throughout the country, but to me good services involves being courteous enough to return a phone call.

Great service! Researched a couch online, found one we liked, found a better one as a floor model at our local store, got a sweet discount and enjoyed the conversation with the employee that helped us. Shipping is crazy right now, but we are pleased and happy to wait.

Great store. Good sale prices right now still doing sale from labor day! Very professional people. Taylor and Jason is who helped us. Taylor new everything we asked her and we asked her a lot.Very good at her job! It was about 4:45pm and my husband and I wanted to check out another store first before we decide on the sofa and love seat. It was the very first place we went. Well Taylor had to leave at 5 so she got Jason to help us if we where to return. I asked and made sure Taylor would get the commission cause she is the one that really helped us.. So we came back and Taylor was gone so Jason did come over to help he was very pleasant also, Professional and honest. We asked about getting furniture when we wanted it and he explained what was going on why several weeks or months why we wont get it.... He was veryprofessional about it... We ended up buying the sofa and love seat also i loved the tables that was with it so we bought those too, then my husband said to jason add on that tv stand too. So Jason got up and got the info on TV stand. He was a very nice manager and very professional I will go back to this store and let people/family/friends no about this Ashley store.....
This has been a terrible experience! My sofa has taken forever to be delivered! My delivery date was confirmed for 5-7pm, and the delivery guys called me at 7pm stating that they were an hour away. I waited a other 2 hours without ever hearing from the delivery guys again. I have completely wasted my whole night away waiting for a sofa that never arrived. They at least could’ve called me to let me know that they will not be coming. This is the most inconvenient, unrealistic way to treat customers buying $5000 furniture. I think this is ridiculous and a store like Ashley’s should have some delivery integrity and would hope that their employees are held accountable for mistreating customers. The delivery guys were super unprofessional as well! This has just been the worst experience. Hopefully, my sofa will arrive tomorrow, but I have no way of knowing if that is the case.
Can’t wait for my beautiful couch to come in. Sean was so helpful and wonderful to work with and was able to work around my schedule so that I could get the couch I wanted when they were running a sale. Also, Ashley has the most beautiful furniture out of all the stores I’ve popped into lately. So excited to shop there in the future.
We loved the experience at Ashley Furniture! They were so patient with us as we made our decisions on our bedroom set. We also brought my mother and law and they helped her pick out some things too! KD was pleasant to work with and answered all of our questions! Taylor was super to work with when we were looking at different mattress and was super patient with my mother in law as she tried several mattresses. We will definitely be back at the Goodlettsville location for more furniture. I would recommend this location to friend’s, family or anyone looking for reasonably priced furniture and great customer service!
I stopped by the store during my lunch hour to browse. I told the salesman, Steve, what I was searching for. He listened to what I needed and was so knowledgeable about what he had to offer he was able to direct me to exactly what I was looking for. He made the process effortless. We went to Ashley HomeStore on a Saturday afternoon. Although it was busy, we found what we wanted, someone helped us process our order quickly and we were out of there. It was about as quick and seamless as we could have asked for.
Lisa Spratlen is the best saleswoman. She will make sure you leave a satisfied customer. The entire team at this store will make you feel valued.
All the people we dealt with were fine, but when we bought a clearance couch as is we should have been informed that if something happened to it there would not be a warranty on it. Within one month both parts of the sectional broke. Spent the next month trying to get them to come out and fix it. When I stopped hearing anything from them my husband stopped by the store and asked about it only to discover that they refused to fix it. What happened nice to know from the beginning so we could have just fixed it when it happened.

I was help right away when I got there. Jason assisted me and was very knowledgeable on all the products and very professional. There was no pressure to buy from him but to get me what I needed and save me the most money. I purchased one the the adjustable beds and can’t wait for it to be delivered so I can get back to a great nights sleep.
Im not sure Ive ever actually enjoyed purchasing furniture but I did with Ashley. The staff was engaging and attentive and fun to work with. The furniture is great quality! I cant wait to have my new furniture delivered!

The sales people were very helpful and I was able to get a really nice bed and the most comfortable mattress. It wasn’t cheap, but sometimes you have to splurge.
Told me I could get my coffee table in June and my side tables would be late July. I was never informed that they were delayed. Coffee table in late August and the rest in October. Went to the store to see what I could get done and the guys was nice and told me it was Sat and they couldnt do anything until Mon and he would get back to me then. Never heard back. Tried to cancel and Im going through hell to get it done.
Demario let me look around and then met back up with me to see if I liked anything. He never pushed me to buy anything and he was very honest through the entire process. Originally my order was supposed to deliver end of the month but after going through the paperwork it got pushed 2 months out, Demario worked with me to give me a discount since the delivery time wasn’t guaranteed.
Manager wasnt nice. Wasnt helpful. He didnt try to accommodate me and my needs. I came in to spend ALOT of my on all new furniture in my house for my whole family. I only asked to leave with 1 chair.... Or 1 couch.... As I have had nothing to sit in or on at my house in 4 months... The manager said absolutely not. So I went somewhere else! And because I went to another place.... As that place was closing... And they stayed open late to accommodate my needs ... I even tipped everyone in the store that stayed and helped me very well ❤️

2 months ago we ordered a sectional we were first told all the pieces would be here middle of October except the center piece. We emailed the salesman and he told us good news it will all be here Oct 15th. So we ordered the sectional, kept in touch and he was very responsive. I then ask to make sure we are still good for the 15th.. no reply .. ask again.. no reply. So I go online and chat with them and they told me it would be Nov-Dec. explains why the salesman is ignoring me..That night we go in to verify, the guy at the counter said yes that it is correct it got pushed back. We said forget we want to cancel the order, we want a refund etc. he said it may take up to 4-5 days to get the refund.So that same night we went to rooms to go and picked up a different sectional that was available the same day.The next day Ashley calls and says good news we were able to get your sectional sooner and it will be delivered the 14th. I said uhm no we canceled that order yesterday.. told him the situation and He said ohh ok I will let them know. Now the salesman emails and is kind of rude about it. I told him we have canceled the order.. he said enjoy your new sectional. Now I have Ashley calling me back to back to schedule my delivery.. ITS BEEN CANCELED! And still have no refund!I finally talk to a lady from customer service to get it canceled. She claimes she canceled it. 10 min later 2 more calls trying to confirm delivery date..NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM THEM
Over all my experience was great. Walking in everything is neat and well put together. I definitely felt safe that’s very important especially during a pandemic. I got greeted shortly after walking in and was asked if I needed help with anything. I continued to brows around and I had another employee ask if I had any questions which made me feel welcomed and important. We decided to make our purchase and I’m very happy with the service provided. Definitely coming back .
My experience with the River gate, TN store (#13), was fantastic. My wife and I went in to purchase an adjustable bed/base. Our sales person was Max Smith. Max went above and beyond for us. My wife had very selective choices and expectations, and Max met every need plus more that we wanted. The quality of furniture is top notch. The financing experience was fast and easy. We left the store with complimentary queen size cooling pillows, that other brand name stores never offered us. Max showed us several types of makes and models of mattresses and explained the functions of how the base operated in full. When it came time to sign the paperwork, Max explained everything about warranties, delivery, damages,replacements,etc. Max left no stone un covered and made us feel fully satisfied as customers. The rest of the staff in the store was very courteous as well. I would highly recommend this store for any household needs.
I went in Ashleys over the weekend, not intending on buying anything but the people at the Madison TN location were so friendly and really tried to give me the best deal possible. I was not able to pay for my bedroom set at the time because I have a block on my account and the sale was ending Sunday. They help my order open until Monday & to my surprise when I went in the store to pay, they had given me a greater discount on the bedroom set. Too, they didnt pressure me into buying anything & they answered all of my questions, Courtney even went around trying to put together a package deal that would save me money......
Taylor, the sleep/mattress specialist, was a tremendous help. We were in the process of buying a house and couldn’t purchase the day we browsed and worked with Taylor. She got us set up to make the purchase once we closed, so we wouldn’t have any issues with the closing process or the entire house buying process overall. The day after we closed we were able to come in and pick right up where we left off, as if it was the same day. She made the entire experience simple and stress-free!

Worst customer service ever. I am beyond disappointed with our experience with this company. We ordered over $5,000 worth of furniture in October. We were promised everything would arrive within 10 weeks. It is now February. Nowhere near close to having our furniture. They ended up canceling our entire order without our consent. I will never recommend this place or advise furniture from here. We have been going in circles since we signed paperwork and agreed to purchase. Absolutely nightmare of an experience. I do not normally complain or take the time out of my day but feel it is necessary to receive this feedback. Look elsewhere. There’s better out there.
Jasmine was definitely amazing. She really took the time out to really get to know what the customer really wants. I would definitely recommend people to go see her. She made us feel comfortable instead of treating us just to get her numbers or commission. The number 1 furniture place is the place to be.
I cut myself short the first time by going to another furniture store instead of Ashley’s Furniture . I didn’t make that mistake twice. I love the quality of their furniture as well as the customer service provided by Taylor. She was awesome! I had another appointment to get to and she got my order put in and me approved in minutes. I highly recommend going to Ashley’s to get your next furniture purchase. I definitely will be returning to Ashley’s to replace the over priced, cheaply made furniture that I bought from the other place. THANK YOU, for inconveniencing me. YOU scheduled a delivery on 6/24. I made sure to leave work to be here for it. What do I get? A sectional that is missing sections. I call your customer service and y’all have no idea why it was delivered like that. I get a lousy $149.99 off my bill - which the money isn’t the issue, I’ve already committed to that. It’s the fact that I have to take off of work AGAIN because you refuse to deliver and fix the situation. If I could return the whole sectional, I would. Never again. I’ll go somewhere else.

Have had 4 deliveries in an attempt to deliver my sofa. Each time either it was broken or the bottom had holes or the material was actually torn. You can’t get anywhere no matter how many phone calls or phone numbers you try. This has been going on since January.And of course their “no return” policy even includes this!!! Now the store manager can elect to do this but the store in Madison TN where I bought from days NO.BUYER BEWARE…..DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE

Jason Gross is kind, fun, and comfortable to work with. We just a bought a new house and this was our first ever large purchase. He was patient, gave us space when we wanted it, and made sure to always verify any finance info before saying it was set in stone. At the end of the process the manager Justin helped us out in a way that we didnt expect, left us speechless.Its obvious that customer service is the #1 priority at Ashley Furniture in Madison and we will be recommending this location to all our friends and family.

Employees do not answer the phone, staff does not treat customers with respect. Even the manager has an attitude of they have to speak to a customer. Roz should really not be a manager with the communication skills and attitude that she has.

The worst customer service of any furniture store I have been to. You cannot call the store, as all calls are routed to customer service in Dallas. We bought several pieces of furniture 3 months ago, and the arrival date continues to be pushed back! No one offers to help, but continue to say it’s out of our control, in a very hateful manner. We will never purchase from them again!
Went into the store to look for a twin bed. Though they did not have any thing on the floor, the sales associate took the time to show us what was in their system. They have a better selection than what is on line. Appreciated that we could find a bed for our son.
Customer service is great.... didn’t love the variety of the dining table selections available in store, but the employees were understanding and not at all pushy.*** UPDATE, 6 weeks later*** still have not received any furniture... after ordering about $10,000 worth of furniture and being told it should be delivered in 6-8 weeks but “no more than 8 weeks” just received communication that we wouldn’t be able to receive our order until the middle of JUNE!!!! Seriously... what kind of business model works this way? 4 months to deliver goods???? We cancelled our order, we will figure out somewhere else to spend our money!

The customer service was amazing, we worked with a gentleman name Max and he helped us find 3 rooms full of furniture, we spent over $14,000...I am so happy with how everything turned out! Not only was I diagnosed with terminal cancer, my son also had to get a feeding tube so 2020 has been a really rough year! But having my house put together and it looking so beautiful means so much to me, thank you Ashley HomeStore you guys are amazing! When my husband and I walked in, the associates were not pushy, allowed us to look around. We had an idea in mind and an associate, cannot remember his name directed us to Ms Taylor. Taylor was incredibly knowledgeable in what we were looking for, gave us space to discuss with each other and then promptly ask if we had additional question. We purchased a recliner couch with electrical outlets and USB ports. Once money gets saved again, we will come in for a single recliner to match and also utilize Taylors knowledge on replacing our bed. Thank you once again for a flawless experience.

I love how Ashley Furniture gives you many pieces to choose from, from different price ranges, for not everyone has the same budget. Also, offering Special financing at 0% interest so Im only paying for what I picked out at the store, no funny business! We had a wonderful experience at the Rivergate location. There was no high pressure to purchase. Gwen Holley, our salesperson, was knowledgeable and very helpful. It was evident that she wanted us to find what we were looking for and to be happy with our purchase. Justin, the manager, was personable and represents the organization well.
When we went to the Ashley home store we were greeted warmly and told about some major once in a lifetime sale they were having. We picked out several things ( a leather sectional, 4 barstools, and an accent chair) and checked out. Almost 100 days later and we still haven’t received any of our order, the dates keep changing and what they supposedly have in the warehouse keeps changing. I believe several items of our order have arrived but because it’s not complete they give some of our items to other costumers and just order another one. We ordered in March and some of the items aren’t even supposed to arrive until July now. But that’s not the worst part. My wife was showing a friend the furniture we picked out on the Ashley home store website and it was significantly cheaper and the online store was offering 20% off, on top of it already being cheaper plus the items would be shipped immediately and the expected delivery dates were all within a few days. We confronted the store and they did give us a partial refund for the internet price, but wouldn’t include the internet sale price. If it wasn’t such a hassle and we hadn’t already waited so long we would just cancel our order. Completely awful. We purchased a sofa from another company and it came in two weeks, and then we went to another competitor for some end tables just last week and it too has already been delivered. Don’t try and call the Ashley 1-800 number either they are of no help.Update:We received our order and half of it was damaged. We were left with 2 barstools instead of 4 and half a sectional sofa. Insane. Now we have to wait months and months for the replacements and hope they’re not damaged.

Shame on them. Run away from this place as fast as possible. Bought furniture in September. Currently they are saying delivery will be February of 2021. Will be filing with the Better Business Bureau. They continue to sell furniture that will never come. They will lie to you to sell you furniture and get commission but not hold true to their dates. It is terrible to take advantage of people during this time. Bought furniture from another company and received it in weeks. Will never again shop at Ashley. They will reach out and ask for your info but to look good on the reviews but the escalation team will provide you with no actual solutions or get your furniture to you. I have talked to them for for weeks. There is zero accountability, zero compassion, zero remorse. Said we would settle for the floor model and told “we can’t release them because of covid safety issues”. You can come sit on it at the store all day and buy it and wait five months but you can’t take it home because then it’s unsafe. How much sense does that make. As long as your payment goes through they are done with you.

I am upset because in April I went to buy a dining room and they told me that in mid-June they are going to bring me my things and it is August and to date they still havent brought me everything. I cant have a family dinner because they are just lying that they are going to bring me the chairs and they change and change the days. The furniture is so expensive that you are playing with one saying that your furniture will be delivered in 2 months and it is already 4 months that I buy them
Went to almost every furniture stores in Nashville and did not find anything like Ashley homestore prices and quality. Best quality for the price for sure.
Very friendly and helpful. Delivery times here are longer than other places, placed an order won’t receive for at least 6 weeks, could not give exact date, but overall positive experience.

Maybe we’re all just settling too easily into blaming everything on the COVID-19 scenario, but this was a pretty cut & dry situation. I had done preshopping & came in to but a new leather chair. I knew what I wanted & where it was in the store so I walked in & when straight over to the counter where you pay. I stood in front of the counter for almost 15 minutes while there were several other people being helped. No one acknowledged that I was still standing in the same place.... in front of the where you pay as they buzzed around me. I finally stopped someone who was chatting with someone doing paperwork & asked I what exactly I needed to do to buy something, because I was clearly missing a step.Somehow I was blamed for being “sneaky” and slipping past the apparent hordes of employees just waiting to help me! 🤷🏻♂️ So, I paid for the chair. Refused to the pay the delivery fee that was basically 40% of the cost of what I was buying & agreed to pick it up myself in Smyrna. It was supposed to take about 5-7 business days to arrive & I would pick it up myself. Well, after what was almost 2 weeks, I finally called to ask what was up I was just informed that it was “delayed.” No estimate of how much longer it would take, just... we have your money now so you have to wait & deal with it. Ok bye! When I was finally notified early the following week that the chair was finally able to pick it up, I drove from Madison to Smyrna on my lunch break to arrive at 2:06p. Apparently, the close at 2 now, even though the door still says 5p & when you pull up their details on Google, it says the same.Love the chair! Looks great in the room, super comfy, reasonable price. I give the chair itself a 5! Now the customer service, communication & attention to detail, I give it a strong 2. So, I guess this all worked out to a very mediocre 3.5 stars. Not sure that I will be back unless I’m prepared to deal with the nonsense again. I also ordered a piece from Haverty’s afterwards & that came 2 days delayed, but I was notified twice of the delays & they reiterated the apology when I picked up the piece. I’ll definitely find myself checking out that store first before wandering back into Ashley.
If you buy any furniture here and they try to SELL you the insurance don’t buy it unless you plan on using it! The no use no lose is a total farce. We spent just under $5000 five years ago and were talked into the coverage because how can you lose. This is how. When we went to buy with our $249.99 credit, we learned that we had to spend a minimum of $500. We were never told this when we bought our furniture. I looked through my paper work and found nothing that stated this. I was told that they now give a flyer with that information. Okay, so I’ll look around but how do I know what’s on sale? Oh, you don’t get the sale price because you already have the credit. So, everyone else gets up to 50% off and I have to pay full price? So, can I buy clearance items? Only at full price! That’s crazy! So, I could have gotten the same deal (if I spent $500) without buying insurance that I never would have bought without the pitch! I was told that there was nothing 50% off. The sign says up to 50% off. Does that not imply that something is 50% off? I was told that that was a marketing strategy that everyone uses. I will be shopping elsewhere!
Jason and Taylor were outstanding peoples. They helped the wife and I pick out the perfect bed. Cant wait till it gets delivered. Those 2 deserve a raise.
Absolutely horrible experience. Went in and was confronted at the door. A simple greeting would have been great. Unfortunately, when we said we were looking for a sofa - Billy spent 2-3 minutes wasting time telling us about the specials on mattresses. We arent here for a mattress today, Billy - we said sofa. He never pointed us in the direction of sofas or told us anything about sofas. Oddly enough, He followed us around the store and spoke into his headset three times.Honestly, there were two sofas I saw I wouldve spoke to a sales person about - but, after this dude creeperd us around the damn store - we left. Later that day - we bought a sofa from La-Z-boy.Spent over 1500 at your competitor.
My wife and I decided to get a bedroom set for our new home. Gwen Holley went above and beyond for us. She made sure we received the best price possible. It’s weird that the website offers lower prices on some items but Gwen made sure we got the best value possible. It was an easy experience and we may go back for future furniture purchases.
I was pleasantly surprised with this shopping experience! Emily did a fantastic job helping both my mother and me make purchases. She did a great job following up and was very knowledgeable about the merchandise. Im very excited about my two leather sofas that I have coming in. I also purchased a protection plan which I believe will give me peace of mind in case anything happens. Definitely plan on coming back for future furniture and home needs.

Super service at the Ashley furniture store from Taylor Pagels at the Madison,TN location. She acknowledged us as soon as we entered the store and took us straight back to what we were looking for. She gave us time to think about our decision and choose the right one. She was never pushy and made us feel rushed. She was extremely knowledgeable and knew her products. In addition, she took the time to show me additional pics on the computer. With Covid only a few sectionals were being produced into a sleeper and she knew of the only 2 that we had to choose from. At check out she offered us the promotional items and saved me some money! She saved us a lot of time in our search and made buying from Ashley super easy! Thank you Taylor! I know my friend can’t wait to see the couch I picked out for her!
Just met with Monique for the second time and she was amazing! She walked us through the store and gave us plenty of options as well as some out of store options. They ended up working out a sweet deal with us and the store manager Justin was a big help in getting us situated outside of Monique’s help. Highly recommended a visit if your looking to furnish an area or a few in your home.
We recently relocated from NY to TN and Sam S helped us find all the pieces we were looking for. She was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly do NOT recommend ordering furniture from Ashley. On 3/17 I ordered a love seat and couch. I was hold it would be delivered on April 17th. On the 14th I tried calling all the numbers I could find because my call keep getting dropped. Decided to do the online chat. I was told my order was backordered until June of 2024... finally got ahold of someone in customer service. 2024 was a type-o but it was backordered until this June. Which was disappointing because April 17th was my back ordered date. On April 22nd (today) I received a voicemail to call a number to schedule my delivery. Did so, and the automated voice said I do not have an order to schedule. Called the number that left me a voicemail, the same lady who left me the voicemail said they do not have an account with my phone number. HOW does that make sense?!?!? Was finally able to get ahold of customer service. He told me that they shouldnt have called me and I should expect a call on May 15th to schedule a delivery for May 18th. While I am glad it is sooner than June, the whole experience has been awful. Every person I have spoken too has said something different. At this point, I just hope my set comes in one piece and I dont have to deal with Ashley ever again.
Got a couch and two bar stools from this Ashley HomeStore location and my experience was incredible. I am extremely indecisive and it took two trips in the store, each lasting well past an hour to make a decision but the staff was amazingly helpful through out the process. Emily, our sales associate helped me each time I visited and she put up with me struggling to make a decision, walked with me through the store the entire time as I sat on ever single couch multiple times and gave me some great advice and support which helped me make my final decision. She was incredible and never pressured me into making a decision I wasn’t confident with. I will definitely be back for future purchases!
The salesman John was very helpful Jasmine in the acceptance now department went out of her way to get me the best plan so I can afford it. I have been waiting a while for delivery it has been postponed one time and I will see if it comes this week. Prior to me going to acceptance now I did read reviews on delayed delivery still I went with Ashley. I would recommend that store near rivergate on Gallatin Pike.
