This is a unique place to say the least its buffet style but yet its not. Reminds a bit of a Boston Market but much better. You can get fresh home cooked food as you go through the line and pick what you desire. They do have grill items too typical wraps, burgers and other types of sandwiches. There is alot to chose from. If its your first time its a bit confusing but well worth the visit. You pick your food they give you a ticket and you as you leave. The drinks you get yourself. I really enjoyed the meatloaf servings are plentiful and will leave you satisfied. I would go again.

Chefs Market Wedding Catering!Chefs Market went above and beyond to make our entire experience from the first tasting to the big day unbelievable. Their entire staff always greeted you with a smile as if they’d known you for years. Their food was so great that we still have guests raving about the chicken and waffles. We were so incredibly happy with our experience and cant recommend Chefs Market enough for future weddings! Thank you so much to Kate, Chelsie, and the rest of the Chefs Market team for making our big day so special, welcoming, and tasty. From the bottom of our hearts,Ryan & Carly Doppelheuer

Overall: This is a place that was in front of my face the entire time for years that I never went too, now Im wondering why it took me so long to go.Pro: Clean, friendly, easy to find, great little market inside, food is excellent, tea is awesome.Con: No Cons at all!Review: Restaurant is premiere fast casual so you choose food and then pay at the end. I was not upset with any of the food here. The food tasted fresh, was not over salted to compensate and the tea was fresh and excellent. The service was top notch and friendly. I would not hesitate to go here as much as possible. Very much enjoyed this place.COVID safety:The tables were a little closer for comfort but the place still felt well ventilated.Should you go: Most definitely!! Try the plates at the very back where you get a main and two sides. You will not be disappointed. Just check out the photos of the food!

Food and restaurant is great, but corporate side needs help on honesty and leadership.I have worked for the NBA, NFL, and NASCAR, I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism. They pretend to be a family friendly business, but absolutely talk behind your back. Honestly, I should have seen the red flags from the start. I had applied for an Event Manager position. This position was then changed to Event Coordinator… however, internally the position is known as Catering Logistics Specialist. I took the position and was there all of two days before I was let go. I was told they didn’t think I was committed. I took the job, because of the “family friendly” and “flexible” work schedule. I spoke with the manager Chelsea to give her Saturday’s that “if possible” I would like to have off. I said if it can’t work that’s not an issue, because my job is first. The Saturdays would just be helpful for childcare. She said “not a problem, I have to work around my childcare also”. I was also told I showed a lack of interest in meetings. I was unaware any of this was an issue until after they already decided to fire me. When I tried to explain that I was interested, I was observing, and trying to add in where I thought I could. They shook their head, understanding, but it didn’t matter. I was told I wasn’t a good fit, no warning, no conversation, just not a good fit. I am now jobless during an already hard time to find a job, because I quit my previous job for this position. If something isn’t okay, or won’t look good… be honest. Be honest throughout the hiring process, starting with the job posting. Be leaders, have conversations. Give people credit, be good humans.

The food was delicious. A little spendy I think for a cafeteria style meal, but it was fresh and tasty. The mac & cheese that my mom had was barely warm, so we just packed it to go rather than have them somehow reheat it(?)I work Mothers Day, so today was our Mothers Day dinner. This was our first time here. I had several customers tell me this was the place to try. I was a little disappointed they did not offer any greens on the menu today. That was one major reason I picked this place today, my mom loves greens! We didnt have dessert, but they all looked wonderfully scrumptious!! We had read so much about the up and coming resturants that we were excited. The staff while extremely swamped was still great and kept us worh everyone needs. Loved the family style dishes. Loved the cafeteria style way to handle the massive amount of people. The gift shop seemed to big to me and while I think the space would be better used for more fold prep I think it works well for them.- Family of 6 spent over $100 to eat- Kids dishes lacked something that the largest adult meals had.Overall good experience.

I like The Chefs Market. But I dont visit very often, but when I do I remember why I dont visit very often. I think its expensive for what they offer you. Its pretty basic, down-home, Southern cooking, but it seems to come in at New York prices. But the food is good, its varied, its different than what you will see on other menus. And I usually have enough left over to take home for dinner that night, or lunch the next day. I think their gift shop is very unique and the deserts when youre checking out really, really tempt you.

Chief complaint is the lack of prices displayed anywhere, not that they are bad but it would be nice to know in advance what you are paying. Two of us had lunch for $35. When you go in you go all the way thru the cliche gift shop items to the food line. There you ask for what you want, they played it and hand it to you. They give you a receipt you pay for after you are done shopping for gifts or cake. The food portions were very ample and delicious. Many have raved about the fruit tea and it is indeed amazing. For years, this has been a Goodlettsville fixture for any family/individual looking to get a bite. For those with children, the cafe bar-style is especially convenient since it eliminates the long wait. The menu is as diverse as it is delicious. Its the taste and atmosphere, however, that set it apart. The food is straight up comfort; the place is spacious; and cleanliness is close to godliness via sparkling facilities with scripture on the wall. They typically go out of their way to make you satisfied, so customers always come first. They are also considered top notch in event catering, attested to by their long record on the Best of Nashville lists. My personal combo is the Jerusalem chicken, garlic potatoes, sweet chili cornbread and mint fruit tea.

This is such a fun place to visit. The unique specialty gifts welcome you through the door. For a moment you forget you have entered a place that is known for their catering and great you-can-only-get-it-here meals. Stroll through the gift area imagining how great those items would look in your home. Then you approach the variety of salads -- from beets to chicken to slaws -- and make your first food choice. The daily offerings are posted to let you know your decision will take a moment. Every choice is a star dish. The meat selections are followed by vegetables and side dishes that again make you ponder over all the options. The last food choice on the bar is the made from scratch rolls or muffins. You take a deep breath and look longingly at the plate of food you are about to devour. Choose your drink. The special fruit tea is a definite winner. At this time you realize you have not left room for something to satisfy your sweet tooth. There is no cause for concern. The gourmet desserts are presented for you to see while on your way to take care of your bill. Your dessert will taste just as good after you get home. Thank God this place is still here to serve their loyal customers.

If you can imagine the bare cake rounds sitting out getting stale for 2-3 days, then iced and chilled.. thats the level of odd dryness inside the cake.
