Unfortunately, my experience with Equipatron was, to say the least, less than satisfactory. When I placed my order for a replacement engine for my lawn mower, I relied upon the Equipatron Technical Services Rep to recommend and send out the correct Briggs & Stratton engine. The wrong engine, at a cost of $276.53, was sent and when I informed Equipatron of this, I was told that it could not be returned because although I hadnt used it, I had mounted it on the deck of my lawn mower. At the same time, I was also told that certain mechanical modifications would need to be made in order for the engine to start and operate.I was not told of this at the time I placed my order. Equipatron did offer to send the necessary parts required to make the engine start/operate, but I refused because Equipatron would not pay for the labor to make the necessary modifications. It was after all, their error to begin with. Months went by without resolution and with Equipatron refusing to return phone calls. When I finally reached someone, I was told they would not honor the parts offer. With help from the BBB, a tentative settlement was reached, but Equipatron violated the agreement. In short, I have an engine which doesnt work with Equipatron effectively having stolen $276.53 from me.

Equipatron was a pleasure to work with. I ordered a Honda engine and they reached out to verify it was correct for my project. Since it was not originally a Honda I need a honda control box and recommended other options. This saved me money and time. Thank you!

They are great when placing an order but God forbid you need follow up for anything they dont respond to e-mail and you sit on hold for hours.Our engine was damaged in shipment we just need a price for a new starting system to submit to the shipping company, they wont get back to us.UPDATE: They resolved our issue completely, that day they were short staffed.would use them again without hesitation.

I called Equipatron about a Honda engine for a Wacker compactor. The salesman I talked with was knowledgeable, helpful, answered all my questions, and sold me a brand new Honda GX engine for a excellent price. The engine arrived quickly and looks awesome! Many thanks and hope to do business again.

Ordered a high altitude carb kit needing a jet normally in these type of kits from them. The description on there listing only stated part of the contents in the kit but all jets are normally in these kits and i couldnt message the seller about it as shown in the photos attached. After finding out the jet I needed was not included I then could message them threw my purchase history. After many rude unhelpful messages from this place and avoiding to process a return they blame me for not being able to ask questions as show in my attached photo and stating they do not want me buying from them. All they would of had to do was either 1 state there is 1 jet in the kit or 2 allow me to ask them about it before buying it. Al tho they will surly now claim that was a ebay problem. No matter why i couldnt message them that is not my fault I couldnt! There own return policy is 60 days and shows no stipulations that i cant return for any reason. I contacted them the same day the kit showed up! These people know so little about what they are selling they probably couldnt of answered if there was 2 jets or only 1 jet in the kit anyways since i had to send them a photo and circle in the photo what a jet is in the first place! How can a place sell small engine parts and not know what a jet is? Yea dont buy from them!Reply to theres: They did not provide a phone number to contact them. In fact you cant! Ebay policy that you cant provide things like phone numbers or email addresses. We are not allowed to contact sellers outside of ebay! READ THE RULES! Nice try tho. You are so king on claiming i dont know how ebay works nearly every message you have sent but you again missed another rule? I am not willing to have my account shut down for not following the rules. I will make sure to show ebay you are wanting contact outside of ebay. You blamed me for not being able to contact you before purchase as shown in my photo. If there is another message you want to falsely claim you did otherwise why didnt you provide it? Lie lie lie is all you can do. Fake apology dont mean anything when you turn around and send yet another harassing message threw ebay right after responding here. If you mean it you would of handled the issue up front and not message me rude things daily!

Will never buy from these people again! They sent an engine that looked like it had fallen off the truck a dozen times, I refused shipment and now Equipatron trying to screw me out of $200+ for an adjustment fee, something never mentioned in their shipping and return policy. Their customer service is a joke. Prices seem like a good deal, but the old saw, you get what you pay for, definitely true for Equipatron; steer clear of them unless you have an urgent desire to be treated like it-shay.

Ordered a head gasket. Briggs & Stratton sent it in a perfectly sized box but the packer decided to fold it in half? I contacted Equipatron and got an excellent service Rep, (Bernice?) who did the legwork to get a new gasket sent out. She seemed to know all about the process / the part / and even had experience at Briggs & Stratton.Love companies who put intelligent folks on the phone or at the counter. Good on ya.

Bot a defective pump, leaking water out of tank body after I installed it . Their response was these pumps are tested at the factory. Well after no satisfaction on the email. I sent it back through Amazon.$ 274.00 purchase turned into a $ 130.00 refund. Bad experience. I am a swimming pool contractor in fla and I know about pumps . I have never been treated like this in my 30 years in the business .But as a business man. They can never have my business again. The one star they get is for shipping, which wasn’t free after all.

I have ordered a lawn mower engine two weeks ago and till this day it hasn’t been shipped and the communication is unsatisfying I’ve called millions of times and it makes me waiting for the longest and no reply.

I tried to order a Honda engine from them. The order said it would ship in 5-10 days. I emailed and called them after 12 days to see when it would ship. I was trying to be patient with everything going on. No reply via email and their phones go to voicemail during business hours. I didnt receive a response from them until I cancelled the order with the credit card company. Ill never shop here again.

I bought an engine off them through Ebay and when I opened the box it was damaged. It took them 2 times to send the right part so it could be fixed . Once the new part was installed and the engine mounted, it began to surge. Its been nothing but a headache and has effected my business tremendously. As of right now Im out close to $600. In

Beware of buying from them on Amazon. Returns & Refunds policy listed on seller’s page is blatantly wrong. Paid $33 and refund was $23, $10 less (30%). Contacted seller via email. Got a reply back stating that they are just following Amazon’s return policy. Called Amazon. Amazon said that return policy is clearly seller’s, not Amazon’s. According to Amazon’s return policy, the refund would have been full amount in this case.

I got a replacement short block from Daniel at Equipatron. It shipped fast, 3 days, and was exactly as ordered. He helped me find the correct part by looking up my spec and serial #, checked availability and price, and he even called back like he said he would. Good all-around experience, and Ill do business with Equipatron again.

Heaven forbid you ask these guys what a part is made of before they ship it to you. Plastic? Metal? OMG, thats just too hard to answer. Doi! Then when asked to cancel the order because they were too damn lazy to look at the part as they pulled it off the shelf, they refused to cancel it. I would never buy anything from someone who who cant tell you the difference between plastic or metal and instead tell you that they have no control over what the manufacturer makes the part out of. Sorry but I asked you a simple question. Too bad simple minds cant even answer a simple question. Look elsewhere. Most people have enough common sense to determine the difference between plastic and metal.

I have a 13 yr old zero turn with bad engine. I emailed them and they recommended the model number Briggs engine I needed (Briggs stopped making mine). Price on a new Zero Turn was $4000. So I bough a New engine, tires and seat and total was under $1000. No brainer. 2 hours to install and Im slow. Its like a brand new mower. Fast shipping and quick answers to my follow up questions. Love this place.

It saddens me to read all the bad reviews from this company. I dont know them personally, but I have purchased about 7 engines from them within the last year. Every one of the engines work great. Shipping is extremely fast (2 days usually) and they offer free shipping, which is great. They have my information saved so it literally takes 3 minutes to order the engine which keeps me from wasting workable time. And Ive only spoken to one man and one woman within all the times Ive call and they were both extremely pleasant. I work in retail also and people can be very dramatic and demanding, so I am not pointing fingers at the bad reviews but for my personal experience, I give them 5 stars and I have recommended them to others.

If I could give them no stars at all, I would. They have horrible customer service. They were condescending and rude. The motor was delivered damaged and the man from customer service told us to calm down, it wasnt the end of the world. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Very poor company to deal with, bought a Walbro carburetor from them through Amazon, supposed to be OEM, came different from the one on the engine, customer service very rude, wanted to charge 50% restocking fee, no replacement. will never deal or recommend any deal with these people

Refuse to send picture of the items they are selling. I asked for a picture of a n exhaust manifold for my kohler engine because there are several different part #s that are supposed to fit. The differ in the direction the exhaust exits, some exit left, some exit right, etc. When I asked for a picture I got a smart ass reply that the exhaust manifold looks like an exhaust manifold. Truth is they more than likely dont have the part you order in stock, thats why they cant send you a picture.

I needed a part for my weedwhacker. The manufacturer told me the part and part number but their website said they did not have it and I would need to backorder it. I searched the Web and found it at a good price from eqipatron. I contacted them and they told me that part would not fit my weedwhacker. I searched several other websites and contacted them all and they all said that part would fit just like the manufacturer said. I ordered it from another website (a little more money) and it came and fit my weedwhacker perfectly.I was Just trying to be helpful so I contacted equipatron to tell them about their mistake and said I wanted to order from them because of cost. But their erroneous part fitment person lost them a sale and they should check into it as every sale helps.Well I received several replies back basically telling me that they do not need my business, to I and all the other vendors including the original weedwhacker manufacturer where in error. It got to the verge of stalking on their part. Take my advice and spend a little more and get quality service.

Good prices, but frequently drop the ball as far as when items ship, sometimes they are completely forgotten about until you call several days later, should not have to do this. Avoid if you need a part urgently.

Ive been waiting 2 weeks for a magneto, havent heard 1 word from Equipatron and havent received my part. I live 1 state over so theres no excuse blaming the mail. I try calling and all I get is the answering machine that is too full to receive any more messages.

Ordered a part from them after 48 hours I hadnt heard anything about my order, I tried calling and waited on Hold for a while with no answer then decided to email. They then canceled my order because I was upset that 48 hours and nothing had been done with the order. There was no reason the order shouldnt have been processed day of or at least next day. Horrible service, they clearly dont care about the customers if they are just willing to cancel an order instead of helping resolve an issue.
