I got the long board with root beer flavor and it was very good! I would recommend the small because it is super big! It was super good and I will definitely go back!!

Our order was made incorrectly. When we asked them to remake we were told they would not. This used to be one of our favorites but perhaps not any more.

I didnt know this place existed and I did a local search I was sure wouldnt find anything for shaved ice but I found this gem!!! Plus I could only have sugar free at the time and they have some flavors that arent bland, like I had expected. I was sure I saw little baby angels fly away when the menu had sugar free blue raspberry! Its my favorite flavor ever. This place did not disappoint with the options and flavors.There was a bit of an odd moment where all three employees stood around staring at each other and not acknowledging that I was at the counter waiting. My friend and I wondered if we were wearing invisible cloaks. Once they did wait a few minutes they did finally start talking to us it was fine.Overall, I do recommend Halaula Hawaiian Shaved Ice.

What a cool spot on a hot summer day! Our first time there and staff was very helpful, Austin recommend delicious flavors! Portion size was huge!Some wet wipe napkins would have been helpful, but we still loved it!

Nice small building and friendly people right on the boardwalk about 1/2 mile from Grand Haven state park. Lots of flavors and the serving sizes are quite large. Sitting benches to watch the boats go in or out. Also Hawaiian music playing to give it that authentic feel. Enjoy!

Servings are very, very large (the longboard was massive!). Refreshing pier walk treat. Service was not very professional though, and the girls working were more worried about drawing on each others arms with pens than getting the shaved ice ready

This place has the closest I can find to kakigōri in Michigan! It reminds me of my time living in Kyoto, Japan~ definitely my favorite shaved ice! Love the stickers on the tables as well✨

Loved coming here in the summer and I miss it! Ive known shaved ice places to give you double stamps on a loyalty card if its below freezing, so maybe you guys could do that and stay open on weekends in the winter? Either way cant wait for the new season to start!

Fun place to visit, very unique to the area. The atmosphere is awesome and the ice was delicious. Only complaint my husband and I had was that they were training someone new on Memorial Day, the place was packed so things were a little hectic and there wasnt much seating. But we enjoyed the treat and will be back.

Fantastic place, great flavors, decent prices. My only complaint for not giving a 5 star review, the process takes awhile from putting the block in the machine, shaving it, and then doing the flavors. Dont think youre going to run in for a 5 or 10 minute quick snack. Other than that, staff is friendly, seating is decent for the size of the building, nice tables outside too!

I was stuck today in stand still traffic today for 3+ hours, 80+°, and no air conditioning. I was feeling very ill because I was so hot, when all of a sudden this man comes up to my window with this super bright colored snow cone. He asked me if I wanted it and I replied, for free? He said yes and to come back again and visit. I will be back. That was so yummy. I dont even like stuff like that. I am hooked though. It was honestly delicious. ❤💛Thank you to whoever you are!!!! This place is amazing! The service is fantastic, the owner is incredibly friendly, the shaved ice is the best Ive ever had. The ice gets shaved right in front of you. I cant wait to see how well this place does!

Very good first visit, the kids that work there are very good at there job! One thing we didnt need to see or her was some lady yell at them for there hair being down and his hat being worn wrong or something, she yelled at them in front of the whole store! Not professional at all!

Best shaved ice that Ive ever had. I normally hate snow cones, but tried some and these are simply in another league from the old standby.

We enjoyed the rainbow shortboard and loved the coconut ice cream!

Staying at Allendale KOA and went with my cousin to try it. OMG it was amazing!!! Like eating a cloud flavored with any of your favorite foods. Will visit again! DEFINITELY
