As the name indicates, this place is Temptations! Great selection of ice cream, shakes, etc. Sugar and waffle cones, bowls. Somewhat limited seating but dont let that hold you back. Tasty!!!

Loved the handmade waffle cone & cookies & cream ice cream! Nice to grab a cone & walk along the harbor.

Love their ice cream and location. Its fun to grab a cone and sit along the board walk and watch the boats.

Coffee toffee is the best. Great portion sizes for the price.

Sunday Aug 9th, I’m in Grand Haven enjoying our Michigan weather. I purchase a waffle cone, butter pecan and black cherry YES! Within one lick my black cherry scoop falls to the ground😞Temptations staff gladly rescoops me! Waffle Cones Matter ❤️

This is a question for everyone who remembers when these 3 buildings had the rope hand rails, when getting ice cream and waiting for the trolley to go around town just to hear the bell ring, and wave at everyone. Even though the time has passed and the rope hand rails are gone, can we save these buildings and keep history for younger kids to come?? These are building that made grand haven to me in my youth!! Save the buildings!!! You saved the cat walk. And thank you for my childhood memories.

The best ice cream. Cutest little shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Sweet high school aged kids working, who did a tremendous job. They even replaced my icecream after it fell off my lopsided cone. A hometown classic for sure.

Just flat out awesome homemade ice cream! And there are 30+ flavors to try. Look, I cant tell you that this is the best ice cream in Grand Haven, or in Michigan, or whatever hyperbolic context would pique your interest, because I havent tried them all. But I think thats the point - since being introduced to Temptations a couple years ago (theyve apparently been around for 35 years, so I was a little late to the game, btw), when were in Grand Haven and we want ice cream, we dont have to think about it; this is where we go. So Ill probably never know much about the competition. And if Temptations stays the same, Ill remain blissfully ignorant.

One of the priciest options for ice cream downtown, but the ice cream is pretty decent. Still, I give them three stars because I dont think their quality is worth the prices. Id rather go to Skoops (if not downtown) or Kilwins (if downtown).

They have everything here!! Chocolate covered potato chips, ice cream, gummy worms, all the way to cakes and specialty popcorn! I have never had a bad trip in the twenty years Ive been going here. Try the homemade seafoam!

Im not sure if they are having a freezer issue or trying to finish last years stock but the ice cream was so freezer burnt I might as well had the old as heck Ive cream in my freezer instead of paying what we paid. My boyfriend went back to get his at a later date to get his cone and went back and said look this is beyond freezer burnt so they said they were sorry gave him a tiny cup with half a scoop and it was more freezer burtm that the cone was. Maybe in the middle of the season they are really good but o will never go back there again I ordered a hot fudge sundae minuw the toppings but nope they ass the fake can cream on top with toppings and the hot fudge I asked for wasnt hot not ever warm to begin with my.adsjsn
