Chole was so awesome, I was very nervous to get my eyebrows waxed since 4 years ago I had my eyebrows waxed by somebody else and they ruined my eyebrows, but she made the experience so so calming for me and she did such a wonderful job. I would definitely be coming back!!!

I have been going to this new location for a bit now and have always had a positive experience. I want to give a shout out to Shelley! I was looking to get a gift for my family for the holidays and couldnt get what I wanted. She figured out alternatives, as well as helped me by reminding me that I had a 20% coupon that I was able to use on EVERYTHING I ended up purchasing! Who doesnt like savings? I was so thrilled! So thank you Shelley for helping with the savings and positive attitude within the store. I look forward to my Ulta trips whenever youre there!
I love shopping here!!! It so close to home and they always have everything in stock. The staff is so helpful and so welcoming. They are quick at doing color match. I wish I could give it a 10 star rating!!! Keep up the great work Ulta! You are making a lot of happy!
While the store was very clean and well stocked, it didnt make up for the customer service. I went in to purchase a few items and was not greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything so I had to go find someone myself. I was supposed to receive a free gift with purchase (a bag with quite a few makeup items inside). The person rang up my items and gave me my total. I reminded them that there was supposed to be a free gift with purchase. They quickly looked for the free gift, told me there werent any left, and instead came back with a super tiny sample bottle of some product instead of what I was supposed to receive. I had to return to work quickly so I checked out and left. I called later to speak to a manager about the issue (I never got to speak with the manager) and I asked if it was customary for this to happen. The person put me on hold, came back and said they actually did have the free gift and that I could come back and get it. I explained that I was back at work and it would be after 5pm before I could get back. They were irritated by this, so instead of picking up my free gift after work I returned the products. Seeing as this was my first time at an Ulta store, I was really hoping for a better experience.
This store NEVER has stock, even when online it says theres stock at this particular store. The staff are also not helpful. Ive been shopping at Ulta for years, and honestly have had issues with them having stock of really popular items, brands, etc. and even when their website says they do have stock, they dont. SO....I will no longer be shopping in store (which I usually spend more when Im at the store), I will be either A. going to their competitor and changing up my makeup brands if needed, or B. only ordering very specific things online. Get with the times ULTA (at all of your locations), get a website that updates inventory at each store, and staff that is actually helpful and customer service oriented. Ugh! Super annoying!
I give it 3 stars because of these reasons. I love shopping here, and this store is so convenient to me because its so close to home. I always get great help from Esmeralda, Amy and a new cashier I saw last week. I think she told me her name was Jasmine, when she asked me to do the survey. They are the reasons people love to shop. Always smiling and helpful, BUT there is one person there that ugh!!!! A Manager. Shelley. She needs to fix her attitude. Not only with customers but with her associates. She can be so rude and so mean. She really is just there to get paid, but she always looks like she never wants to be there and always rolling her eyes. I went to the store yesterday and I can feel her negativity. And reading through the comments, I see Im not the only one whos complaint about her. Shes asked me if I need help but Id rather not.
They didnt have my foundation in stock but quickly offered to make a sample until it could be delivered to me. Amazing!! Smiles n great personalities.
The manager was extremely rude to my mother. The bad gal full lash mascara had a sign that it was on sale for $15. My mother checked out, but it rang up full price so the sales associate had her manager come over, who was then rude to her associate. We brought the sign up to show & she got defensive and said, if it doesnt ring up on sale then its not on sale. She finally gave store credit but she doesnt have any customer service skills, I think we will drive further to Arlington for a better overall experience. The sales associate was sweet and helpful, but the management sucks.
Listen...the lightskin woman with a big smile was awesome and always helpful. I got to the register tonight and I got the worst welcome, unfriendly attitude ever. This young Latin woman seemed like it hurt her face to smile. I had to ask her questions to love things along. I asked her if she need my bag, she was reluctant to talk they whole time. Ugh she really irked me.
Everything about this store is great ACCEPT for the rude and unprofessional manager, Shelly . I came in and asked for help just for her to treat me like I was unimportant and wasting her time. I then proceeded to check out with her just to get side eyes and sarcastic remarks about my questions with the account. This is now my second time with this same manager that I have been having difficulty with, she only assists CERTAIN people with friendly attitudes and I have seen this first hand. I have no idea how this women is still employed. I love Ulta and I hate to see it being brought down by a poor management choice, if you don’t like your job there’s always another who will love it!!?!
Love Ulta but their manager at this store located on 161 hwy sure has somewhat of an attitude. I went in to return and buy new items. I mentioned that one product was purchased online and she requested my receipt otherwise she would not be able to process my return...Even though I know she could easily look it up on their work PC as long as I let them know the timeframe I purchased it, still she demanded my receipt or to look it up online myself which I did. She then proceeded to process my return/purchase...this is not the first time I catched some attitude from this same woman at this location, even though its a new location and so close to my home Id rather drive a few more miles to avoid feeling treated as if my business here is an inconvenience

I was so happy to know that a new location was opening close to me so that I didn’t have to drive all the way out to Arlington. I’ve been needing to go in to pick up some my regular products and was hoping to get some tips on some new lip colors that I’ve been interested in purchasing.Yesterday I visited this location around 1 pm and had a very disappointing experience. I walked in without receiving any greeting, although the lady who walked in later was greeting with a “Hello, welcome in!” by the cashier. Then I proceeded to the walk to the right of the store to find my eyebrow gel and to try on some new lipsticks, but there were no workers in sight for me to consult with.When I finally spotted an employee in that section, she was busy stocking lipglosses. The only time I saw her stop to help a customer was when a shopper leaned near her and said “Excuse me, can I get some help?” Then after she briefly pointed her into the right direction she went right back into tasking.I then saw two additional employees standing by the back wall gossiping and talking about their zodiac signs while customers walked around them. Then when I changed areas and began to browse the products near the front of the store, the cashier, who just finished checking out a customer, began to task and clean up by the registers as opposed to asking if myself or any of the other customers needed any assistance.Needless to say, I ended up feeling frustrated and leaving without the purchase of my eyebrow gel or lipsticks. I refuse to give a store my money when my presence seems to be an inconvenience to its employees. This new location really needs some training in customer service.
I was able to find 2 of what I was looking for! Yeehaw!!! The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is clean, neat and well-organized!
I love that this store opened up right down the street from my house! Staff is very helpful and they have all the good brands!
I went today to look at lip gloss for my sister party. However, I was being followed by a employee constantly because I am a African -American woman and she assumed that I was going to be stealing then when my mother confronted her about it she acted like she didn’t know what we were talking about. It’s 2019 and yet this issue is still going on.
I have given this store so many chances since it’s opening but every time it’s a fail . The staff including the manager is not helpful and they are not even knowledgeable of what brands they carry. Every time I have to go in there I cringe I would rather drive to Arlington at least there staff is nice !

Was helped to the fullest by Elanie and the cashier who rang me up, but the manager Tera is very smart mouthed and rude. I hope when I return I do not have to encounter her terrible customer service again.

Worst customer service ever! Shelly was rude and VERY unprofessional. What kind of manager does not know what she has in stock. Asked for a perfume and she didnt even know what it was. It wasnt just the fact that she has no idea of what she sells in a store that she runs, it was the attitude she gave that was so upsetting.
I want to start off by saying that I was very excited to finally have a store in my area and could not wait to be able to visit the store as I finally did last night and had the worst experience ever from a Ulta manager named Shelly. I was checking out with a associate and had purchased Maybeline items that had a free gift with purchase so when the associate had asked her manager Shelly had stated that she had just given the last one away and to just give me a L’Oréal item in it’s place but the associate could not find it and was asking for her assistance which Shelly was very snappy with her the whole time and they finally just gave me a Lancôme face mask. As the associate scanned the item I noticed on the screen it was charging me so I brought it to her attention and Shelly standing behind the associate cut in and stated it is not charged it is showing free and pretty much do not worry about it but as I am a regular customer and now what I am reading because it is not the free gift for the items I purchased. Shelly stated I would see it was not charged on the receipt and at this point I just wanted to get out of there because I could not be in the presence of Shelly and her unfriendly face not even smiling and just very rude so I went to my vehicle to review my receipt thoroughly because my bill looked higher than I thought it should be and what do I see a charge for the “free mask” I supposedly was not charged per Shelly. So I went back up there and Shelly just locked the doors and she was standing right there and I knocked and she just looked at me and rolled her eyes because she knew I had an issue with my receipt so she opened the door and was like yes can I help you with an attitude and I then stated yes I tried telling you that I was charged for the item you insisted I was not and Shelly then stated well that is the associate responsibility to make sure they take it off and I then had had it with her rolling eyes and attitude so I then stated to her that she is the one that told her it would come off at the end and don’t worry about it and didn’t have such an attitude problem and would have listened to me this would not have even been an issue. As she was removing the charge she continued to roll her eyes and as a manager instead of trying to de-escalate the situation she made it worse. I have never been treated that badly in a Ulta store and I made sure to tell her and she just continued to argue back with me. It is very disappointing because i will not shop in this store again and I will make sure to spread the word to family and friends to continue shopping at the Arlington location where we are greeted with smiles and treated with friendliness specially from a manager. I hope this taken care of because I will take it all the was to corporate because I am very upset over this and I am a valued customer and love Ulta! Britney was the associate and she was very pleasant and doing a great job but it is to bad she has a manager like Shelly! Never heard from the District Manager like I was told! Will never attend this store again and will continue to blast them on social media. It looks like they have had this issue with other people regarding manager. Really thinking about closing my account with them since they do not seem to care about how a valued or any customer is treated. All I can see is they say sorry but what has been done about the issue is my question? It seems like they hope I will forget over time and just move on but it is not happening since I now have to continue to drive further away because of horrible customer service.

Manager unprofessional with a real smart mouth. Walked around the store twice and no one asked if they could assist. Left a new girl on the register whom didnt highlight sales or provide my gift. After spending $180. Sephora Im coming back girl!
