I love how this has been here for decades! The treats are always delicious and I would rate this 5 stars if only they took cards. I dont always carry cash and that sometimes makes me have to skip stopping in.

Get it before ice cream season ends. Prefer cash only so have cash.

This is a simple soft serve ice cream shop. They’re not going to win any awards for ambiance or decor, but if you’re in the neighborhood and looking for an unassuming place to grab a cone, sunday, or parfait on a warm summer day or night, give them a try. They’re neighborhood throwback.

They are cash only but very affordable. I got a small cone and received a lot of ice cream for a small which is appreciated.

Great ice cream and flurries! I come here on my bike in the summer after dinner almost all the time! Almost always has new flavors! Only down side is that they don’t have any WiFi. Other then that, this place is great!

I go here pretty often with my girlfriend and Grandma, always good quality ice cream with other options on the menu as well. Prices are definitely fair for what you receive. I recommend going here for a tasty treat!

Great prices and great ice cream. For $2.50, you can get a medium cone, and the medium was a good 4 inches tall. Toppings are cheap, and they ABSOLUTELY COAT the ice cream. I would recommend. (Just dont try to eat the whole ice cream plus toppings in 10 minutes.... my stomach didnt enjoy it) 🤣🍦

They offer a big variety of flavors. Would definitely recommend, especially on a nice hot day. Just remember that they are a cash only business, but if you forget, there is an ATM nearby.

Stopped by for the first time this year today. The shoppe remains a great spot for ice cream treats, hard and soft serve. Tried the chocolate cherry flurrie, I will get another. Prices are good, service is fast. I will return.

Taste like soap! Made my wife and I feel like vomiting all night. Could barely sleep. They were nice enough to remake the flurry for us, but still the same chemically soapy taste.... too bad since it’s so close to our house!

This place has amazing dessert at a great value. The flurries are filled with large chunks of your choice of candy. They actually have real shortbread biscuits in their strawberry shortcake sundae. It is my favorite!

Moved in the area in 73 and have been attending the cone shoppe since I can remember, but like any business it has its ups and downs. Staff see to be well enough informed to start a new every year, and good business location. Close enough for locals to walk to, as well as driving traffic. They have a wide selection of everything. Shakes malts, slushies, and normal every day fast foods. Most times Ive been able to get what I ordered my way, and they have never complained if I have a error.

To make things short they dont take credit card which is something a business should always take when dealing with high volumes of customers. So its cash only which is a negative. On top of that the lady made my order wrong when I specifically told her I didnt want peanuts in the ice cream for this case. Then on top of that when I told her thank you for redoing it I got no sorry or no problem back, as a busniess owner myself everyone knows the customer is pretty much right all the time. Treat me better if Im spending money at your establishment, wont ever be going back again :)

Love this place!!! Just wish they would post the correct hours of operation. Says they are open til 10pm but they close at 9pm. Just missed them, so bummed.

Me: Can you dip a waffle cone?Employee: Oh yeah!Get some cash (PNC and LMCU ATMs are within shouting distance) and go directly to The Cone Shoppe. For $3.50 you can gorge on a massive waffle cone, overflowing with soft serve dipped in chocolate...

Horrible experience. Ice cream was completely freezer burnt! I took one bite out of the ice cream, went up to the window and they didnt refund my money or offer something else. Never going back
