Everyone we interacted with was professional, friendly and on top of things. Good follow-up calls. The crew was exceptional- on time, very polite, helpful, and adaptable to our changes.

I have used two men and a truck on three different occassions. The first two times were an awesome experience! I used them last week and it was almost a joke. I called and talked to Ryan who was wonderful, quoted us about 5 to 5 1/2 hours, but didnt think it would take that long. I gave him a list of things we would need moved. When the movers got there my fiance and I had already moved the mattresses, nightstands and two bed frames. We had also taken apart everything that needed to be dis-assembled, such as weights, took out draweres from dressers, unhooked dryer and washer ect. They didnt have to move any of the mattresses, nightstands, tvs or the bedframe that was quoted or any drawers of our dressers. They were supposed to move a treadmill but didnt. Yet, they still took 9 hours. They missed half of the stuff I pointed out for them to take. (took bar bells, but didnt take any of the weights or mats they were on) ruined a wall in my new house, knicked our brand new floor, and fell down the stairs with our dryer which was only supposed to be moved to the garage to sell. Now it is completely unsellable, honestly I was just happy the guy didnt get crushed. They didnt bring straps for the dolly, didnt measure anything to make sure it would fit & didnt bring tools.They did more standing around trying to figure out what to do than actually doing. Overall very dissapointed in my service. In total, they moved three dressers, two couches, a love seat, a bed frame already taken apart, a kitchen table, two recliner chairs and 1/2 of a weight set, didnt even get the whole thing. 1600 dollars for that. Ryan did refund me 2 1/2 hours, but that joke wasnt even worth 500. In the long run, my house has been damaged, we still have to move our gym and treadmill and I cant sell my dryer. I would only recommened them if gaurenteed and experienced crew. They didnt have a clue what they were doing. A HUGE waste of my time and money.

While I was planning a move, I was reluctant to rely on any movers as this would be my first time using a company. After a few weeks and wildly overpriced quotes from opposing company’s for a simple and local move, I decided to rely on Two Men and a Truck for my move. I needed assistance in moving all my big furniture (Couch, beds, entertainment center etc) and made sure to prep for the movers to make it as quick and easy as possible. Upon arrival of the movers, they were happy to see everything prepped and took little to no time to cover, wrap and move everything. They took great care and concern for my furniture. While the move relied on the use of an elevator they managed to navigate and plan efficiently/accordingly. Last and most importantly, upon arrival to the storage unit, they removed and stored all of my belongings quickly and carefully. The movers expressing genuine concern for the well being of the furniture left the couch wrapped to preserve the quality while in storage. Quoted for 3-5 hours they completed the job in a little over 2 hours. These movers made me very happy with my decision and if there ever came a time I needed movers again, I would hands down call them. I hope everyone has these gentleman for there moves, because they will have the peace of mind without a doubt. Don’t forget to tip your movers, they deserve it!

DO NOT USE - completely destroyed $700 TV during move and refused to replace because of being outside of 4 day window to report damage. People unpack homes over MONTHS not days. Worse yet they’re the ones that packed it. Chips and scuffs on furniture are certainly forgivable but I can’t take a magic eraser to this one. Highly suggest seeking a different firm for your move.UPDATE: They have quoted their customer referral rate at 98% and my TV is miraculously fixed! Wait, nope. Still destroyed.

Shuntay and Phil did such a great job with my moms recent move. They were so easy to work with despite the stress of moving between states. They communicated clearly and kept us updated with their arrival time, etc. They deserve some major recognition/credit for the move they helped us with. We highly recommend them!!!!

For the second time, they lost important parts to furniture. This time it was our daughter’s bed and television stand. To make matters worse, they didn’t follow up on replacing the pieces, even after we called them over half a dozen times. Will never use their services again.

A friend hired these guys recently for a move I was helping with. I am still floored thinking of the way they acted, joking around, laughing, screaming, at each other. Oh and did I forget to mention this was all done at the top of their lungs. No regard for the home owner in the least bit. They used no moving blankets on furniture, they refused to use their straps to carry large heave furniture down 3 flights of stairs, I cant think of a single thing they did correctly to be honest. After moving the items to 2 storage units, my friend arrived to make sure things were divided correctly between the two units. 90% of her belonging were stuffed and thrown into the 10/30 unit. While the 10/20 was nearly empty. Infact she opened the door to the 10/30, and couldnt close it again because items shifted and it just wasnt possible. I will never hire a moving company, she spent a small fortune to have her things ruined

I had a very small move to very large bulky items from my upstairs apartment to my new street level apartment.. The four young gentleman they sent over did a great job and we’re super efficient. I wish I would’ve use them for my whole move!!

Used their services to move a one-bedroom apartments worth of items nearly 60 miles across the state and up stairs to the third floor.Movers and office staff were informative, communicated clearly, professional, on-time, and efficient. They had no issue moving heavy furniture and took care in wrapping large items in cloth and plastic wrap to avoid damage. No problems getting everything up the stairwell, and attentive in placing things where they were desired.

Wow... I dont even know if I can find the words to explain how amazing this company is! This was our 2nd time using Two Men and a Truck and this time we moved from Michigan to Oregon. From the first call to the out-of-state delivery this team was magnificent! Extremely helpful staff to set up the appointment who was available by phone and email (super quick responses to emails - within 10 minutes or less). They were flexible with delivery to fit my needs. The movers were amazing! Not only were they incredibly nice and professional, they showed up on time and were extremely gentle with my home and items. The best part is that the same two movers who packed the items in Michigan drove to Oregon to deliver them. They were friendly the entire process... even during the terrible Oregon wildfire breathing conditions. Moving is already stressful enough and Two Men and a Truck helped eliminate the stress caused by moving our household items. They were always polite and it was like a breath of fresh air to see the same two men arrive with our things thousands of miles away from the original location. I just hired them this past weekend and couldnt be happier. I called several weeks ago to get a quote, they gathered all the needed info, then emailed me with the price and schedule details so I had it in writing. They called several days before the move to confirm the details and answer any questions. The day of, they showed up on time and walked through the house with me to confirm everything being moved. I very much appreciated that they wore masks during the move too! They were quick, efficient, and careful with my furniture and other items. Everything was placed where I asked at the new house and the final price was right in the middle of the estimate. Would happily hire them again!

I hired a 2 person team to help me load a moving truck.The team was a little late due to a last minute staff issue (original team had a personal emergency or something, so it was out of their control and didnt bother me at all), but when the team did arrive (maybe 30 min late), they were apologetic and they immediately got working. The original time estimate was over 3 hours, and the team got everything packed in just over 2. The guys were friendly, professional, and careful. I was very impressed with how neatly they were able to pack everything, especially when we originally worried that not everything was going to fit.Everyone I spoke to about my move (from the movers themselves to the staff in the office) was friendly and helpful. They were able to answer any and all of my questions, which really helped me feel at ease with this move. If I werent moving out of state, I would definitely use this offices services again.

Chris was patient and most excellent in setting up our move. I had never hired movers before.Collin (sp) and Brad, our movers, were strong, careful, efficient, professional, and kind.The Two Men and a Truck saved us from worry, saved our backs, and also finished the job a lot faster than we could have.

The guys were nice for the most part. One dropped a tub that had drinking glasses and about 10-12 shattered as well as 4 coffee mugs broke. Towards the end they acted like they just wanted to go and get done - even though we were only at 6 hours and I was quoted for 8.5. They did not grab everything I asked them to from the house and there was plenty of room in the truck to at least grab the little/smaller items - but they left them. This resulted in my husband and I going back and forth twice with 3 truck loads and 2 SUV loads to get everything. I also needed to rent a 2nd storage unit because they said they couldn’t fit everything in the 10x20 that I rented. After I looked in the 10x20 - they did not stack the boxes nearly high enough and left a ton of room around where I most likely didn’t have to rent another unit.

I submitted online requests to several different movers. Two Men and a Truck were not only the only ones to respond, but also provided an VERY reasonable estimate, kept in communication with me and provide prompt, efficient service. The guys were friendly and helpful, also to put me to shame! (I had a couple of items I couldnt lift with a friend, which one guy moved into the truck single-handedly!). Also I just have to say that the guys themselves communicated with each other REALLY well when moving my stuff out of one place into another. They were really careful when carrying big items downstairs and through doorways. Highly recommend them!

Sean and Noah did a fantastic job moving large heavy furniture through narrow doorways. No damage to the antique wood furniture, door trim or drywall. No one could have done a better job.

Mostly they were very professional and even early to move my item! They were polite and nothing was damaged. However, they did not wear masks in my home and I did not like that. I was wearing a mask.

I have used Two Men and a Truck several times and been very very happy. However, this last time they broke and antique mirror from the 1800s. They are going to get it fixed but the authenticitys will be different now.

We recently finished our lower level and needed to move furniture etc from a storage unit close to our home. The local team of Jerry and Collin were excellent. Clean cut, punctual, polite and worked quickly and efficiently with out a single ding in any walls or furniture. The moving costs are quite expensive, but on par with some other movers who we have used who are not nearly as good or fast.

We were very happy with their services, showed up on time, they were very fast and careful. Our bill was on the low end of the estimate which were very happy with. I would definitely use them again!

We used TMAAT for packing and an instate move. The customer service was exemplary, unusual in this modern age. Professional, respectful, careful, and courteous are just examples of the many positive attributes exhibited by our team members. From the virtual consultation, estimates, booking, and scheduling with office personnel Ian and Chris; to the expert packing performed the day prior to the actual move by Shuntay, Matty, and Andrew; to the marathon 15-hour move day including loading at origin, unloading at final destination, and two interim stops at storage units, the aforementioned three superstars plus Nolan completed our move cheerfully and efficiently. I would rate this a six-star moving company and they cannot receive a higher recommendation. Use them.

I was impressed with every step of this service. We needed a piano moved. They were courteous with scheduling and very informative. The original times available worked, but were not ideal. After scheduling the next day they called to say they had another opening if that time worked better. Which it did! I was grateful for the consideration. They arrived timely, made a game plan and cautiously and swiftly had the piano out of the house and loaded in their truck. Unloading went just as smooth, even with a tight corner to maneuver. I would recommend Two Men and a Truck and plan to use them again when the need arises.

Company gave me an accurate quote for packing and moving. Guys were there on time and worked through severe snow without complaining once. Our stuff was fine on the other end of the move, nothing broken or missed. They were also friendly, polite. and communicated well. I typically always go local with my business, but they came in at almost $1000 less than the others, something that surprised them as well. I will definitely give them a call for my next move.

BEWARE the company charges you for the time getting to your address and returning to the office after the job is done. I had to pay for 30 minutes for the crew to get to my address and return to the office when the job was done. There was no mention by the office staff or in the contract that they would be charged me for travel time.

We used Two Men and a Truck primarily from recommendation and were very happy we followed advice. Matt and Kenny worked SO hard moving A LOT of heavy items all day long with no breaks. Both were very professional - even apologizing to me when city traffic monitor made them move truck (and move items) across a busy street. Quote to final price was accurate. Since moving to Grand Rapids 32 + years ago this company moved my wife and I now three times and my daughter twice. I have to say we are very disappointment actually frustrated with the move this time.First they only sent to men out to move an entire house with a lot of stairs. They arrived on time around 9 am and did not finish unit 7-8 pm only moving us 4 miles down the road. They were nice guys but there should have been at least one more person.We are finding furniture with chips and scratches that were not there before the move. We had a number of things placed in the garage temporarily as we are in are living in an apartment until our new house is completed. There were a number of things that were not wrapped properly or protected at all.Over the years we have recommended Two Men and a Truck multiple times but no more. Very disappointing.

I needed a local mover to move furniture and boxes from my deceased in-laws assisted living apartment to storage fairly quickly. Two Men and a Truck were easy to schedule and were available for a date only 3 days out. The movers called ahead on the day of the move and were actually slightly early. The movers were professional, efficient, careful, and friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to use them in the future.

Had a 600 pound gun safe to be picked up at the sporting goods store, they told me what time I could expect them there they were already loading the safe when I got there.I needed 3-men they were very respectful and dependable. The safe had to go into my basement without a hitch and without damaging anything they got it done in no time and helped me remove my door and put in back. And price lets just say the store had movers they use for $250 to the garage only.But I paid $276.00 for 3-men and a truck putting it into my basement. Saved me time and money.

Fantastic bunch of folks. Took GREAT care of my stuff (including an antique phonograph) and not only got everything here quickly, but also took great care INSIDE my house. The crew was almost too polite and the folks in the home office were incredibly helpful. I wish Id have known of them when I moved house, ten years back.DEFINITELY going to contact these folks (at my local branch) when next I have to schlep a bunch of junk! Wow! All I can say is wow! I had a complicated move to accomplish: empty my home of 32 years with a fairly extensive art collection; going to 4 locations! I had phenomenal packing help and three moving teams that were outstanding. In addition, the communication and timeliness from office staff and various teams was excellent. I strongly recommend this company without reservation!

Hired Two Men and a Truck so as not to interfere with family obligations. What a difference! They were amazing! The guys showed up eager and ready to work. They began with boxes and totes and then carefully wrapped and packed my furniture. Before beginning to unpack, they covered my new carpet with plastic. Then they took each box and piece of furniture to my designated location. They even moved heavy exercise equipment to the basement. They continued with their fast and efficient work ethic the entire day. I highly recommend this company!

The office staff called twice ahead of the move to verify my requirements and answer any questions, then followed up afterward to assure my satisfaction. The moving crew called to let me know when they were on their way, did a detailed walk-through upon arrival and were courteous and interactive throughout the move. Upon arrival at the destination we again did a walk -through and they moved at a good pace and verified positioning of furniture in each room. There were no breaks, just determined effort to complete the move satisfactorily.

We have used Two Men and a Truck for many moves in the last 10 years and have always been impressed with the service. They are polite, well mannered and move all items with care. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to my family and friends.

My move was very disappointing. My time slot was moved because of broken down trucks which I understood. I was offered a third mover which was nice. The day of my move the movers went to the wrong address and called to say they were at my apartment even though they werent (it wasnt even an address on my file). When they finally arrived they were very quick to move my items which I appreciated. Once everything was loaded they went to start the truck and it was dead. I have rheumatoid arthritis and since all of my furniture was packed up, I was very uncomfortable and in a lot of pain as I waited for a new truck. 2-1/2 hours later, after providing dinner, water, and bathrooms for the men, a new truck arrived. All of my stuff had been moved onto the grass in front of my apartment building and then was put into the new truck. Off we finally went to my new home. After my items were settled I was informed that only 1-3/4 hours would be removed from my bill per their manager. I paid and said Id be calling the office on Monday. After the men left I discovered that a table of ours had been broken and items were missing even though I had seen the empty truck myself. I called and left a very upset message on the emergency line (never got a call back). My husband and I went to the apartment and looked all over for our items. The dead truck was still there and unlocked. We opened it and found our missing items - just left behind and easily accessible to anyone.

Fabulous team helped us with our move - we had 3 people as one was a trainee - team of Hill, Razo and Sytsma! They were on time, fast and really knew how to pack the POD. In 90 minutes, they brought heavy furniture out to the POD, packed all the boxes and furniture we had in the garage, and moved remaining furniture around in the house. I would highly recommend!!

This was a great experience. This was for a move of office furniture. They came in almost half the price of another mover. Cory and Alex were awesome. Ive used 2 Men & a Truck for two moves (three trips total) and theyve been fantastic each time! I highly recommend the company to anyone that wants a highly dedicated team that doesnt cut corners.Most recently I moved to a third-floor apartment without elevator access and not once did the movers pause to catch their breath - not even after moving my 300lb dresser! Im so glad I did! Laura was wonderful, helpful and got me an appointment the next day. The Two Men were efficient, friendly and did excellent work! At first, I was a little concerned about the hourly rate but they were so worth it! They were so much faster than the 8 dear friends who loaded the cubes for me that we were done far earlier than I expected. Truly professionals! Didnt even flinch about the very heavy couch or all the stuff going upstairs or into the basement. I was so pleased with the service that they gave for the price that I asked them to stay and arrange furniture which they did gladly! They even gave some advice on arranging it. I called 2 Men + Truck yesterday. I needed help with two extremely heavy items. We scheduled for this evening, but I made it clear I hoped they would come earlier. And, they did!Three (not two) clean-cut young men showed up in their clean-cut truck with an extremely fancy electro-mechanical dolly that carries heavy things (heavy as a piano) up stairways.We had the whole thing done in two hours, including their drive time. That was just over twenty-four hours after I first called. Everything exactly as I wanted it. Thank you! I never could have organized this on my own. The two men who helped us move were fantastic. They very carefully padded and wrapped our furniture; they moved around corners and through doorways with great care; and they worked quickly and efficiently. I do not hesitate to recommend this team.

Recently, we used Two Men and A Truck to move my father from his own home to an Assisted Living facility. We were extremely impressed with the two young men who moved him, not only were they professional and personable and took good care of his belongings, they were also very quick in getting the job done (even though the job is based on an hourly rate!).
