Every time we go to West Michigan Band Instruments we get helped right away! Their rates are better than the competition and they regularly go to the school where my boys go so they can fix anything that might be wrong with the instrument. I am so impressed by their selection too. The instruments are beautiful and sound so good! My boys love the violin!!

I take lessons 1 day per week here. I am learning at my own pace. Mike is patient and helpful . Very nice informal atmosphere. Plus, I can get my supplies here. Very convenient. Family owned and trustworthy. I recommend this shop for the professional and the amateur musicians.

I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH WEST MICHIGAN BAND INSTRUMENTS AND THEIR OWNER DAVE. HIS WILLINGNESS TO GO MORE THAN THE EXTRA MILE TO SERVICE HIS CUSTOMERS IS UNMATCHED. I NEEDED A STERLING BARITONE. HE HAD ONE AT A GREAT PRICE AND WAS WILLING TO DELIVER IT TO MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE IN THE GRAND RAPIDS AREA SINCE I LIVE IN THE DETROIT AREA. I ALSO NEEDED SOME HELP WITH A VERY LOOSE TUNING SLIDE AND HIS STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FIX IT AND HELP ME OUT AT THE LAST MINUTE AND AGAIN DELIVER IT TO MY DAUGHTERS. Ive only been here once but I definitely plan to go back again when I need supplies. I started playing sax again recently after 20+ years and I needed new reeds but I wasnt sure what size I needed. I had been playing with a 2.5 and I wanted to try a 3 but I didnt want to buy a whole pack because theyre kind of expensive. The person working gave me a 3 to try. Ill definitely go back there when I need new reeds. The 3 gave Bessie (my sax) a nice tone but shes a little loud with those.

I brought in a used instrument I had just purchased to have it checked out, and fortunately they were able to look at it right then and there. They did not try to sell me anything or tell me that there were a bunch of things that needed to be fixed. I will definitely give them my business in the future.

They have a good selection of additions for your instrument. They might not have they brand you want, so you can be put on hold for that brand. You also can rent the instrument and buy it later. When youre renting you can trade it in for a different brand. They also do repairs for free if youre renting the instrument

Dave and his staff are very customer oriented and accommodating. It is clear that they want your business and are willing to work hard for it.

Staff was helpful and instruments were very high in quality.

Went to return band instrument and the man there was very disrespectful. As a grandparent didnt have to even have to.licate the instrument for him in the first place let alone drive it all the way to him then be dis respected by him. My granddaughter is 13 years old.
