Had a great experience at The Good Feet Store. Jayvon Bennett helped me the second I stepped into the store. Very knowledgeable and helpful, patient and kind. Great customer service! And I’m excited to walking with no pain!
After years and years of painful feet I finally decided to look for help. Wish I had done so sooner. The results have been fantastic, and the staff were all knowledgeable and caring. Would recommend to everyone. Special big thanks to Jennifer for helping me so much.
USAF Veteran. Proud guy. After falling off of a 25 foot roof in late 2018. My feet started burning, tingling, and hurting horrificly at night. Most concerning was the numbness and loss of feeling. I landed on my feet, lucky I guess. This put me out of work for 1.5 years, Im only 34 now!!! I WAS taking, gabapentin, 500mg Naproxen, and another med to help. After trying 2 chiros, 3 mris, 1 xray, 2 hip xrays, 1 neurologist, I tried plantir fascitis socks just before my vacation. I returned and bought these inserts, soles, and brooks shoes! I no longer take those medicines anymore! My feet are starting to adjust (gotta give it time) but, I move into my own apartment soon, and, start a very lucritive in home sales jib Sept 6th! Thank you for giving me my life back. My back no longer hurts, my knees and hips arw no longer out of balance, I no longer shift my weight from side to side!!! This is exactly what was needed!!!! (Slow salute) Thank you. I have also started slowly regaining feeling in my lower foot near toes.
Had so much pain walked out pain freeThank you jayvon for your help.
I walked into the store they were very friendly and courteous. It was very product how it can help me. Down from that didnt have enough time to purchase. But I will be returning. Thank you Good feet
I am still struggling after months. There is some improvement. I was hoping to be back to normal after a month or so! It has been almost 3 months and I still struggle to walk more than 1/2 mile without pain. My biggest issue is the inserts do NOT fit in many shoes or boots. I am having to wear gym shoes most of the time. Thank goodness my job doesn’t have a dress code. But I do miss wearing other footwear especially in the snow.
I was diligent in educating myself on their proper use, with high hopes of improving my sore heals but these orthotics ended up making my heal pain worse than when I WASNT using them. Very painful for my feet. Because they are expensive, I would recommend seeing a podiatrist before purchasing this product.
After dealing with the discomfort of poor arches for nearly forty years, the great staff at The Good Feet store, fitted me with inserts that fit MY feet perfectly. No more pain!!! Simple, easy, and very effective!!!
Great service! Jennifer knew actually what I needed. I have very little to no back pain after years going to be able to play pickle ball
I would highly recommend. Great service!
It was a wonderful experience I made an appointment an got in right away an began it was very informative. I had several pairs of shoes to be taught what arch an sole would fit each one the best. I enjoyed my experience very much an I would recommend it an go back again.
My mother and I went to the good feet store today. We knew little to nothing about our feet and the store itself. Bill welcomed us and made us feel comfortable and helped us so much. What we didnt know is that you get three different insoles that you get to work with and they customize them to you and change them out as well if you dont like them. But they do cost $350 each and they want you to buy the shoes insole as well. I wish my mom and I could of afforded all of them but we bought one with the shoes sole for $450 and will be using them to help out with our backs, knees, and feet. Only thing I would of changed about the whole experience is the cost and driving an hour to get there. All in all Bill was very nice and helpful.
I am a new customer with new shoes and inserts that I hope are very helpful, but I cant say for sure yet. I would like to say that even if the salesman there knew that my Grandma was paying, as a 33 year old woman it was rather emasculating and humiliating to be sent around the store to test out a pair of shoes while my mother and grandmother were taken in the back room to discuss the cost. I am looking forward to finding out if the $1200 plus dollar total is worth the benefits.
I have struggled for years with issues with my feet. The Good Feet Store answered my prayers! Thank you!
False advertisement on TV. Rude customer service to our elders. Not cool.
I’ve been using my supports for about 3 months and my original heel pain is gone.
I had terrible heel pain for years. After getting fit for my arch supports my heel pain came later in the day after day. Three weeks in and I have no pain after the entire day. My knees are better, my hips are better. Its awesome! Wish I would have done it earlier.
I had a great experience with my sales man and he helped me with figuring out what to use for my flat feet. I am still getting used to wearing them as I have many types of shoes and boots to put them in. He told me to make sure I wash the black inserts and I did my first set but the small plastic thing that goes by the big toe came unglued so I have to somehow get them reattached.
After running out of options for relief from the pain of long shifts standing/walking on concrete floors decided this was worth a try. After $1200+ cost and trying to work thru the process outlined all these have done so far is give me ankle, knee and hip pain in addition to the foot pain...and lighten the bank account.
I took my Mom in the store & Bill the salesman was so incredibly patient & kind to her. She has severe arthritis & he tried to help her for over an hour! When nothing seem to help her, he apologized & said he felt bad. I hope they know what an excellent employee they have with Bill at their store in Grand Rapids 😊
I had done my research before going in, but my experience was incredible and Im already feeling better! There was absolutely no pressure to buy, which I greatly appreciated. Jenny and Deanna were both attentive, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about the product and helped me to find the right fit. My balance is much improved and Im looking forward to how Ill feel after a few weeks of wearing the product.
Grear service! great product! & those who have problems do not listen to Mark the system they have WORKS! But only if you use the supports like they are meant to be used.
The salesperson, Mark was very intense and pushy. When I asked questions he actually tried to shush me so he could finish his sales pitch. I was told I needed 4 inserts and three liners for $50 each and inserts for $350 each. $1,550 total. Ouch. I was not provided options unless I asked or challenged the need and ended up purchasing three inserts and he gave me two liners “free”. I felt intimidated and pressured although had heard great things about the product. I could go without the “relaxers” based on my use so far. I haven’t worn them long enough to know if they work yet. I have tendinitis on the inside of my foot and a bunion and he guaranteed this would resolve both of those problems. Time will tell. I will ask for another sales person next time I go.
Dont go there unless you want to spend a lot of money (and sometimes, like us, get NO results)! We spent well over $1,000 and my husband is now seeing a podiatrist and getting custom orthotics. The podiatrist was not impressed with what we were given.
I purchased a set of these supports on a cruise several years ago and I had great results. Went to the store in Grand Rapids and had a great salesman! Got talked into three different supports and four pairs of liners. The third support I will never ever use but he convinced me that I needed it. He also convinced me that I needed Multi sets of liners only to get home and find out that they only fit tennis shoes and WIDE shoes. It’s impossible to wear without cutting off circulation in any of my shoes or dress boots. I was never told that these were non refundable nor anything I signed stated that. I only discovered they were nonrefundable when I read the receipt when I got home. I wish I would have wait to get my next pair on a cruise it will save me $1000.
I would reccomend THE GOOD FEET STORE. The lady that worked with me explained how it all works and was very friendly. I look forward to going back to the store. But the best thing is how my feet felt better just after a couple of days. But I know I need to keep wearing the insoles so my feet can get even better. Too early to tell but I am so encouraged. And excited to have Good Feet.
The salesperson was very friendly and knowledgable. However I felt he was rushing to explain as he knew I had people waiting for me in the car. When I got home I had a hard time remembering how to use the inserts. I tried to go online for information but there were no instructions. Mark had told me not to write things down as he explained, he said he would give me a.paper to take home. That paper did not contain the information I needed. I called and got the information and began wearing the inserts. After 2 weeks I do not believe I needed to purchase all 3.sets of inserts. I hardly wore the first set before I could move on to the second set. At the price of $1200 I bought all.3.because I thought I needed to. I am.very happy with the product but feel the costs are higher than they need to be.
Honest, and top quality arch support
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and thoughtfully. I started using my inserts and following the process today. I am excited about the thought of having no more pain when I walk!
Years ago, I bought arch supports from the Good Feet store in Royal Oak and I accidentally tossed them when I got rid of an old pair of sneakers. Now, years later, I sadly found out that the Royal Oak store had closed and the closest store to me is two hours away in Grand Rapids. Darn it. So, I ordered supports from Amazon, and bought some from CVS. None of them measured up to the quality and comfort that my old Good Feet supports provide. I called the Grand Rapids store and asked if Good Feet could ship new supports to me. I spoke to a woman named Jennifer and she couldn’t have been nicer. Jennifer explained that it would be better if the supports were fitted to my foot, and she said that she would be in Royal Oak area in a few days and offered to meet me to fit the supports to my foot. Incredible! Who offers such good customer support these days? So, I met Jennifer and I have my very much loved arch supports back. Thank you Jennifer, you are awesome!
I really enjoyed working with an associate at the Good Feet Store. They were really knowledgeable about their product as well as how they could help me deal with my pain and discomfort. It was nice to hear someone else tell me I wasn’t crazy to be experience this type of pain.HOWEVER, the price was waaaaay over what I expected to pay. My mom had offered to buy me some kind of custom support because I hurt so much and we expected to pay $100-300 or somewhere in that range for a set. But the Good Feet Store has a three step system in which you need to pay ~$300 for EACH STEP. That’s $900 before you even talk good shoes or cushions to go with your supports.Overall I enjoyed my experience and the help I got and I do really love the one set of inserts I got, but I am not sure they are worth $300 and I definitely don’t think the three step program is worth over $900.
I bought inserts for my shoes because I was having trouble with numb toes. I should have walked away when I read the sign that said no returns. Now Im out over 300 dollars for the supports. The supports caused my patella to shift 10 degrees off center. Now Im in PT to try and get them to move back into place.I suggest anyone with leg trouble should never buy something without a money back guarntee. It was a very expensive lesson to learn now Im out the money for the supports and they co-pay for PT.
The store experience was very good, however, it has been a living nightmare since I got home. For the first few days of trying the Arches I was not able to keep them in more than 15 minutes and at times I could barely walk due to the pain in my arches and my ankles, as well. I did call the store after the first day and was told to try shorter intervals with the arches but I have been afraid to wear them for the last two days and now Im laying here thinking about all the money I spent on this and dreading going back to the store for the adjustments!!
They helped me tremendously. Exspensive but well worth the money in my opinion. A BIG THANK YOU TO ELLEN ! she set me on the path to HAPPY FEET.
My experience at the Good Feet Store was great. My neuropathy from cancer and my poor balance is almost gone. I am more active during the day and sleep better at night. They have a great staff who listens to what is happening to your body and sets you up with the right insoles.Deanna is my go to person for any questions that I might have. She is awesome. She cares about her customers.MarJo SebastianA happy customer
The certified fitter was very helpful and thorough. My problem was clearly explained and he was very patient. The service was very much appreciated.
$1000+ is a bit steep for three sets of arch supports and a pair of shoes with insoles. The service was fairly nice and the store seemed busy when I visited. Care Credit plans are offered - but I would recommend checking with your insurance or work to see if you can get reimbursement.
I highly recommend The Good Feet Store, the sales team are very knowledgeable, very professional, and they truly care about what they do. Jennifer’s attitude and personality will make you feel at home. Great place hands down.
I am a disabled veteran who severed with the 82nds Airborne as an Infantry Paratrooper. While serving I had severely damaged my ankle, back and neck. I have had four spinal surgeries and live with severe pain in most of my joints. So I decided to stop in to the store in Grand Rapids, I was greeted by an extremely helpful manager there, Michelle Ruby. Michelle was very knowledgeable of the product and took the time to adjust my fitting to my comfort level and I am very picky about how my shoes fit. Michelle was fun, full of energy and truly made my experience enjoyable. Since I have been using the inserts my pain is diminishing. I wont say that I dont have anymore pain but it is getting better. With any new product you introduce into your lifestyle, you need to take the time to use it correctly. I wasnt for a couple weeks but when Michelle called me and I told her of my concerns, she asked me to come in where she boldly told me I was doing it wrong, showed me the correct way and changed out some of the product for a better fit. I would recommend Michelle and the Good Feet Store to anyone.
This was the best investment I have made for my health and well being! 8 years of monthly chiropractic visits, buying inserts, and I still had pain in my feet and back. It took approximately 2 months of wearing Good Foot inserts for the pain to go away! Love my Good Foot inserts!
Mine was not a good experience. I think in order to know if these work or not you have to wear them for a time. Walking around the store for 3 minutes does not give you a good feel for the arches. You need to really wear them for some time. They did not work for me. Needless to say, it was a challenge to get my money back. Really think hard before you walk out of the store with the arches unless you have $1,300 to just throw away. And, along with it, the people were very rude. Not a place I recommend to anybody. If you are not happy, do not give up in getting your money back. It might take time but it is worth the effort.
This place is my savior. Ive struggled with Plantar Fasciitis for over 3 years. I tried every insert known to man, and nothing worked. I went in there and they gave me their custom 3 step system. It gave me instant relief, and Ive had NO PAIN going on 3 months now. The staff was awesome, and very knowledgeable. THANK YOU SO MUCH THE GOOD FEET STORE!!
Customer service A++Very knowledgeable and helpful. Listened to my comments and made helpful suggestions. These inserts are nothing like the inserts you get from other stores. Definitely medical level help for my pain. Started following my plan right away and already notice a difference!
My body has gone thru major changes over the years with back surgery ankle surgery and both hipsReplaced. Kind of a rebuilt unit,I walk like I had been drinking and I don’t .’soI went to check out the good feetStore I gotFitted properly and wow I walkStraight balance isBetter everyday. I am pleasedWith results andNow I have aPlaceThat can helpMe.Kehl Higgins
Great customer service and great product. Michelle did a fantastic job making me feel very comfortable. If you’re at all on the fence, just give it a try... you’ll become a Good Feet fan!
I came in wondering what kind of supports that there were and what they could do for me since Ive been on arch supports since I was 2.I have bought many supports in my lifetime and tried many brands but these are lifetime guaranteed. Michelle helped me not only get great supports but also new shoes for them along with wonderful customer service!
Over the years of working on hard floors has taken a toll on my feet. I have tried everything from injections into my feet, foot surgery, shoes, pain cream, stretching, and recommended online orthotics. I saw the Good Feet commercial and decided to see what it is about. I already spent hundreds of dollars trying to get relief. It would be safe to say that I already spent at least $1500.What appealed to me was the 300 selections of orthotics, a lifetime warranty, and the 3-step system used daily. Most of all being able to wear the orthotics for up to 30 days to see if it was the best fit. I have gone for numerous refits. Each time getting closer to the best possible outcome. Step 1 Strengther provides flexibility as well as alignment and I no longer roll my shoes. The sharp pain travelling up the front of my leg is gone . Step 2 Maintainer is getting closer to achieving the desired outcome. Step 3 Relaxers is like wearing the most comfortable slipper. I appreciate having a professional staff that believes in customer service with a smile.Cheri G.
My sister and I went to the Grand Rapids store, we werent planning on going but what we were going to do didnt work out. I was resistant at first because Ive tried many therapies with out having much results. ( My right hip muscells were badly injured in a car accident 20 years ago, so it has affected my knees, feet and my other hip, I had a unbalanced slow painful gait) well we went in and Jessica greeted us, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She did all the measurements and explained the process, then I tried the 1s. Oh my for the 1st 10 ft my brain was having a hard time trying to tell my muscles how to walk it was strange, then my gait started to even out and I was moving faster and much smoother than I had it quite a while. I was paying so much attention to my feet and where the pressure was that I didnt fully realize how much better I was moving. It was my sister watching that was very shocked she said it was like a miracle. I then tried the #2s and#3s, a few adjustments were made. Wow it felt good to move better. Then came the price, $1200.00 I just couldnt up and spend that amount, my husband didnt even know we were stopping. Jessica said she would save my info for 30 days, I told her I would talk to my husband and let her know. A few days later my husband and I went back and met with Jessica, again and she explained the whole process to him and I tried them out again, he was impressed and bought them for me, what a wonderful guy. Jessica is also the assistant manager of the store, she was very helpful and took her time explaining. She said with my chronic issues that I would probably not be able to reach a 0 in pain, since mine was hip related but the pain should be able to be brought down to a 3ish. Which is a lot better than 8 and 9. This is a process you start out at 1 hour a day then add 15 min a day, I had to start at 1/2 hour a day, you change out the insoles through the day. Your goal is to have the #1s in all day. Ive now had mine for 9 days, they are helping and boy when its time to change them my body knows. Ive had different sore muscles and sort of strange hurts but I know its just from muscles working that havent worked correctly in a long time, my body is balancing out. I went to my chiropractor on my 3rd day for my adjustment, he was thrilled that I had the insoles, he said he could tell that they were helping already. I cant wait to see how much better this can make me. Thank you good feet store, thank you Jessica, and thank you God.
I have arthritis is both ankles and flat feet. I get constant pain in both feet and ankles. The day that I walked out of The Good Feet Store, I had significant relief. Im able to chase after my 11 year old, twin 5 year olds, and 2 year old again.
I went into the store depressed and very sceptible. Basically hopeless...Mark that helped me said give him a chance to change my mind.. I was there at least an hour figuring out which arch supports felt good on my feet. You have to listen to the instructions you are givin when starting out wearing these arch supports. I have to a tee and I have not felt this good in years! I’m still getting used to them but I think now my life can get back on track. I’m looking forward to starting walking again. Because I couldn’t walk before I had put on a lot of weight. When I got home the day I bought my arch supports I threw my “custom” made orthodox in the trash. I had gone into the good feet store last year but when I heard the cost I just could not justify it. But now I wish I would have just gotten them last year. I feel alive again and it’s just going to get better from here on out. Thank you Thank you Thank you
The only real complaint is the cost, but I understand why, they have a lot of overhead. I wish I could just get more inserts for my other shoes. Its a pain to swap them constantly. My Good Feet Store experience was a bit different than many of the negative reviews I have seen. I had a lot of pain from plantar fasciitis and had not found any off-the-shelf products that would add enough arch support to eliminate the pain. The Good Feet Store insoles seemed a bit high in the arch, and a bit too stiff, but after a few weeks, they proved to have worked well. I dont have to leave work for for pain anymore, and I will never get the shot from the podiatrist again, which I can only describe as being stabbed in the side of the foot, very slowly and deeply. I yelled louder than Braveheart and likely emptied the waiting room. They are not custom, as in cast for each person, but they map your pressure points to determine which if their many arch supports are needed to return your foot to a more perfect arch. I dont know how many choices they have, nor if they would steer the choice to something similar close if the ideal for was out of stock. The fitting Is a 30-45 minute educational sales pitch. It feels rehearsed, can get annoying/boring, but its more educational than my doctor was. Totally worth it. Be honest about what feels right and wrong when trying different supports. If you cant tell a difference, say so. If it hurts, tell them it hurts. Guessing here is like guessing during an eye exam. You must get to the one right size to be content. With fallen arches or flat feet, the fix may be painful, so it may have to be done in stages. The bones in our feet are fused into position to firm an arch, and they have to move to fix the arch, then supported properly until they heal/fuse in the new position. There were days when I felt like I had a broken foot because I did not wear them all the time at first. See next paragraph. The supports can be switched between different shoes and must be worn at all times when standing, as switching back and forth between high support and low support is like bending a piece of metal back and forth. It will break, and you dont want that.I spent $300 for the arch supports and $50 for their insole with the toe wedge as my insoles were trashed. I see no difference with the toe wedge, but didnt want to make a second wantstop also to get less expensive insoles. They tried to sell me the relaxer arch support also for another $300, but I could not afford it. I think it was simply a softer version of the hard support I got, but not sure. The only other thing that has worked for me has been a pair of high arch support carbon fiber insoles ($20?), cant recall the brand, combined with 3M Ace (like Ace Bandage) Arch Supports ($7?), which have a plastic support in a neoprene wrap that attaches to my foot with Velcro. These two together work about as well as the Good Feet insoles, but are more comfortable for me. The Ace support can also be worn at night, in our over socks.
I went to the good feet store because of dibetiace foot pain and sore tired legs that is where I met Michelle Ruby. We talked about the benefits of using supports and how they worked. As far as my health goes it was the best thing I have done for myself in years. I no longer have the problem with my back hurting my feet feel a lot better. But one of the biggest benefits of using supports is I now sleep all night with out my legs and back hurting. Michelle is vary knowledgeable and a great person to work with. I highly the good feet store and Michelle. (I have been using my supports for three months).
I have had surgery on both of my feet, and have difficulties with getting shoes to feel correct. Michelle had fit me with orthotics which have made a world of difference, I appreciate her knowledge and patience with me. which are very hard to come by anymore.
The presentation at the store was quite lengthy several times our associate left us she said for a few minutes but each time was quite a while, I bought the product but am not sure this is the answer to my back and legs problem, I am working with the product right now but we will see how it goes. If your asking me how it is going right now I would say it is a slow process I am given it my best shot.I returned to the GF store on Saturday 6/8/2019 I was having issues with the inserts and Deanna helped me right out, she had called me to see how I was doing and learned I was having issues, right away she was on it to clear up the problem, she switched the inserts and so far this is much betterDeanna has gone out of her way to provide excellent customer care service I hope this will be the answer For my lower back & legs painThank You Deanna for your time and concern with me.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer, wonderful salesperson. Very informative about the products and the benefits.
Michelle was very knowledgeable and made our experience fun! Even though the store was busy she made us feel like we were the only customers!
Very expensive 😣 and not worth the money or the trip over there.....no different than buying from Walmart just ten times more money!! Very disappointed thought I was gonna see unicorns.............
Dana was very helpful and caring. She took the time to make sure the inserts felt right and did not pressure me to buy.
The inserts really help! Most everyone there is really nice except for the assistant manager who shall remain nameless. She was acting pretty rude to her coworkers, and she wouldnt talk to me, she would only talk to my mom, while asking questions about my feet--right in front of me.
I was saying so much pain now I could be able to walk again thank you
Definitely worth the time and money. Sad to get rid of my Birkenstocks, but the insoles fit inside a lot of other shoes that I couldnt wear before.
No real improvement yet. My arch supports are not an improvement over what I was wearing.
I keep telling my family my feet are breaking out in song they feel so good. Laaaaah!
I thought it would be a good idea to get arch supports and they talked the big talk about how these are so much better than orthotics made buy a Podiatrist but all they are as generic forms of orthotics they told me that it would take time and I believe them well they have switch them out twice and they are still way too high but they said that’s the best they can do, you cannot know if they’re going to work in a few minutes that you wear them in the store. I finally had to quit wearing them because I would come home at the end of the day from being on my feet all day and my feet would just ache. I now had to go to a podiatrist and get custom form fitted orthotics Which cost a lot less money even if your insurance doesn’t pay for them. I do not recommend going to the good feet store because I think it’s a rip off that they sell you these things and do not give you a chance to see if they work and do not give you your money back. They cost over $1000, so go to a podiatrist or just go to the store and buy a good pair of orthotics because they will be way better for you .
I am feeling so much better from getting the arch supports. I was in so much pain at the end of the night from walking so much these guys are a game changer.
All went well. Hopefully I will have expected results
I came in and they was so much help !
The women helping us was very rude to me(as well as her cowokers) and wasnt very forthcoming about the price of the inserts when asked. Fyi its $1,300 for the set plus tennis shoes (around $130, they werent priced tho).
My arch supports have alleviated a lot of the pain I was having in my lower back definitely recommend this product
Dont shop here. Go to an actual orthotics store. I found out that these inserts were actually making my issue worse. Not only that, the other place I went to cost a third of the price.
$1,200 for the three insert system. Off to Dr. Scholls....
Less pain is a wonderful thing. Thank you for the help.
Michelle was very pleasant and very helpful!
Very helpful
$1200.....WHAT?????.....How is that even possible, right or ethical?
