This is the worst place to even consider doing business. Whether it just air in tires or fluid checks. The staff will not respond in courteous manners and try to scam. I ask for a price on a tire and was quoted an incorrect amount. When asked why. Response was because thats what it coast for a custom rim. But thus price was charged twice. SCAM BAD IDEA
Id give them zero stars if I could. I took my car in because it was leaving bright red puddles of Dex cool. Was told I needed new heater hoses so I gave the go ahead. Fast forward 10 days after I got it back and Im now seeing sludgie puddles that look like butterscotch pudding under my car. I took it back up there with questions. Talked to a Technician named Michelle, I think and was told that yeah, Id need to get it flushed, probably need a new radiator, water pump and such and that the store manager wasnt there, she would talk to him when he got back and would call me. I made sure she had MY phone number and expected a call but never got one. I went somewhere else and had my cooling system flushed TWICE but now Ive got mostly engine oil in my coolant reservoir. Youd be better off taking your car to the neighborhood shade tree mechanic.

I had a tire that needed to be replaced. I called the evening before I needed to have the service done. He gave me a 7:00 a.m. appointment. I was in and out in @ 30 minutes! The manager was very polite. I read all these comments after I made the appt. I was nervous about going, but sooo glad I did! I wont go anywhere else but this Grandview Firestone store!!!!!!!!!
Worst customer service ever. Had a flat tire and barely limped it in to this store with a newborn in the car. The guy yelled and told me to move my car, and then told me they couldnt fix the tire till the next day. Very rude. I would save your time and go to Mr. tires a couple miles away. Great service and helpful.
Unbelieable price gouging replacement of 4 brake lines 03 Chevy Tahoe. Estimate $1200. Brake kit $200. Labor $1000. Called back and cancelled appointment for Tuesday, 10/12 @ 7am.
Reservations were made to have work done. They wouldnt hold up that agreement, and it was rescheduled for another day. Car was at facility at opening time the following sechuuled day.4.5 hours later the car had not been touched.Granted repair only would take 1 to 1.5 hours.I totally understand that Everyone is understaffed at this time, however communication is important.When I am treating you with professionalism, I do expect the same. I asked if it would be finished by end of day.Dont tell me to pick the SOB and take it somewhere else.This will be the 1 and only time I have you work on anything I own.Word of mouth is Key.
I called yesterday afternoon because I noticed a hole in my tire. The man on the phone told me that he would be able to do it at 7am and if I went later, it would be a wait. I got up at 6am, and made it by 7. As I was walking in, I saw a tech leave. As I went in, the guy told me it was going to be a 2-4 hour wait and that I would have to leave my car because he only had one tech. He asked me a question, then phone rang, raised his hand to me, helped the customer on the phone before I could even answer the question. I asked if I could come back during that time, as I live a few minutes away. He got defensive pretty fast, and I just walked out. Customer service is terrible. Dont tell me to come in earlier and still have me wait. SAY THAT ON THE PHONE! And dont ship 1 of your 2 techs off when the workload is heavy. The Firestone on Wornall politely told me they were booked a week ahead. How hard is that to say to a customer?
I have been a long time customer at this location in Grandview. There were some bumps when management changed. With Ramiro and Crystal on board now, and their work staff, I came back because they are always informative, friendly, and have kept my vehicle in long term running order.Considering the times we are coming out of from Pandemic and all the staff and hiring shortages, customers and short tempers... everywhere we are all working with limitations.Kudos and applaud this First one staff for sticking it out!!Judy V
I brought my vehicle in for inspection. The vehicle failed for sway bar and 3rd brake light out. They quoted me $275 to replace the sway bar and $72 to change the brake light. On a 2002 Sienna, there are literally 2 Phillips screws that hold the housing, but they claimed it would take 30 minutes. I told them I would do it myself. I thought about it more and figured the quote for the sway bar was probably heavily inflated too, so I told them I would figure out repairs somewhere else. I picked up the van and took it to an auto store to buy a brake light. I quickly tested it, and found the broken brake light still working!! I took the van to another place and it passed inspection with nothing failed. I just saved $350. I will never come here again.
Avoid this Firestone, and its Manager (Romero) whom makes up his own ruling of policies to include whom to enforce them upon...On 3/9, I called to arrange for an alignment appointment, I was greeted by a rep (Chris), that was polite and informative about the options I had in alignment warranties...So I set up the appointment for 3/11..Today I called to inform them, that I would be in need of having two tires mounted on my truck, and that they would be in the bed of truck upon drop off and that I do understand there would be a fee for the mounting and balance...please install in front after my scheduled alignment...I was then told by a different staff member that they werent going be allowed even if they were from Firestone and were Firestone tires, Destination M/T ..She said that if I wanted to at the time of drop off, I could talk to Romero and he was the final authority, sometimes he does, sometimes he doesnt...I then immediately cancelled my appointment, and wont be doing business there period, I have bought most of my tires from Firestone, (Independence), along with vehicle services...But after this news of events..I will be considering our vendors for tires and services..So Beware of This Location.....I did make another appointment at Firestone on Wornall after canceling at Grandview, They were on the game today...let me know about the sale of saving a 100 bucks, and an alignment coupon...So I will be spending my money at there location...
This place has failed me twice for parts I later inspected and found to be totally fine. Filed a corporate complaint, store manager was very rude. Avoid this place - they are absolutely fishing for work using Missouri state inspections.

We were very disappointed in this place I told him we had a slow leak in a tire they said okay well drop it off between 7 and 9 so we dropped it off about 7 or so about six hours later they said all theres nothing we can do for you concerning the tire we cant afford a new tire so what taking it to a tire place that specializes in tires and all the cost was $20 to plug it out and they are the same people that took care of a car that had a slow leak the mechanic told me the same thing you cant save the tire so we took her to the tire place that we took the van to they plugged it for $20 and that was last year go figure I guess its all about the money buy a tire we will never go to Firestone again 7 hours and they finally got back to us and said do anything for you, concerning your tire thank God my husband want to know all I would have went in a bat City never again
Got a flat tire and the store manager couldnt fit me in that same day (it was close to closing time), but managed to fit me in the next day even though they are booked almost completely full until next week!! He also offered to fill my tires with air for me, including my spare which was looking a little flat. Was helped the next day and it all went well, but a couple days later, that same tire started to make noises because the lug nuts were not tightened all the way..... friendly staff, but a bit disappointed by that..

Im from Jefferson City and had a car problem while up in grandview. They helped me before, they did a quick, inexpensive job, and when it was done and paid for they helped me after (they jump started the car I brought to pick up the first one for free). I wouldnt go anywhere else.
I came here one other time and they told me something was wrong and not to drive it across the street. I drove it 100 more miles and took it to another mechanic who fixed it for $105—his price was $300!! We just took it in again for. $12 inspection because it was convenient and the price is set. They wanted a ton of money to fix a link!!! What they didn’t know is my husband has a mechanic in Connecticut because he owns 23 trucks and that mechanic had just gone through the entire car and inspected it. (But we needed a Missouri mechanic) SO BEWARE!!! 2 times is not a coincidence!!!! It was interesting that the place was empty and they were desperate for work.Update: I drove my car 500 miles yesterday with no problems—I just took it to another mechanic and the car passed state inspection with flying colors!!!
Best customer service I’ve seen, just moved here in Grandview 2 years ago and I’ve gotten all my oil changes from this place because I’ve never had a bad experience here. Firestone Grandview is the best ever!

Jake was directly rude to me, because I wanted to understand why my check engine light was on when I went to pick up my car. It was not on when I brought it in. He just was like a zombie. He didnt say anything to me, except a monotone excuse me. Then he got in my car, cleared my check engine light and went to walk off. When I started asking questions to understand, he said it was my throttle controller, so I kept asking questions. He then very rudely, with a condescending tone of voice, told me he was about to go plug his scanner in... and walked off...???????? So I asked his name, which he hesitated to even give me. Worst experience at mechanic ever. My check engine light wasnt on when I brought it in and now it is. Im contacting a regional or corporate or whoever I have to to get resolution. I mean wow.... Im not your problem dude, I just want to understand my car.
Romero and staff quickly determined the cause of the excessive noise was a bad right rear wheel bearing and a front left loose sway bar linkage in addition to a parking brake pad that was sticking to the rotor that rounded out the total of my excessive noise issues. All of the noise issued were quickly and correctly diagnosed, and then Romero advised me as to when I could get the best price on the work due to upcoming promotions and I brought the car back, at which time, they did an amazing job on my old Altima. It now sounds like an entirely different vehicle and is as quiet as can be. I was amazed at just how much of a difference the work made. Worth every penny. If you want a fair price and quality work with exceptional professionalism, I highly recommend Romero and the professionals at the Firestone in Grandview.

Brought my own tires to mount and balance, they couldnt do it due to my frame rails being rusted out which I understand. 71.xx to mount and balance 4 205/60/15 tires, which is a good price. I just wish it didnt take 40 minutes to tell me that. I would take my newer car there to get tires installed.
Ramiro is the best store manager out of them all!! All the employees are great, & do a splendid job. The only thing I would change is their corporate boss, Carol. She seems a little sleezy & very unfair to her employees. Other than that, 10/10 would recommend

Had an appointment for an oil change. I told them up front I was likely going to be late leaving the medical clinic when I booked it.The day of the appointment, I called them leaving the clinic restating I was going to be late and asked if it was ok for me to still come. The gentlemen told me to still come and they would get be in.I finally get there after being prompted to come by the time I said i would get there. The gentlemen told they can’t take me in because they took someone else in last minute on my appointment slot- right after I called and confirmed 15 minutes before getting there..:So unprofessional. Don’t send your business here.
While deployed, they tried to be extra salesmen on my wife when my car came in for a service. They also did not rotate tires when it was asked. This morning they also told me they were too busy to patch a hole in a tire, takes less the 15 min cause hole was already determined, while they had two guys just looking out the window of the garage not a care in the world. Will not be brining any business to them again.
Ive had great experiences here. In all, Ive come in a few times for oil changes, new tires and alignment, and just general checkups. The manager Kou and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable--they would explain to me anything that I wanted to know in details (Im not a huge car person). I kept having problems with one of my new tires, and they immediately inspected it every time I came back in (no charge). The services were reasonably priced, especially with coupons. I would recommend this shop. The staff feel trustworthy to me.
PEOPLE Don’t waste your time going here!!!!! There tires are junk!! There is a reason they have a 3 star rating. I really wish I would’ve read the reviews before going here. They will tell you everything is covered when you are purchasing the tires, but I guarantee you they won’t. I got 2 bubbles in my tire and they told me that’s not covered. Just don’t waste your hard earned money.

My wife took her car in with a screw in the tread. They said it could not be repaired. Need to buy 4 new tires because of the car being all wheel drive. I thought their quote was a little high. So I went and picked up the car brought it home and put the spare tire on. The next day I took the car and bad tire to Discount tires in Belton Mo. for another quote on 4 new tires. They checked out the bad tire and said it was repairable. They fixed the tire at no charge even tho we had not bought those tires there. We will be buying tires for all three of our vehicles at Discount tires in Belton from now on. Shame on you Firestone complete auto care. Please everyone stay away from this rip off tire dealership.
Called and asked the Lees Summit Firestone about front and rear brakes! This us the one on Ward Rd. They quoted me over $978.00!!! They over priced themselves over a dealership! This was mind you with a retirees discount from the Plant in Decatur IL! If you cant see the problem then your blind! I took it to the dealership and got both sets front and rear disc brakes done for $303.00
Ive gone to Firestone for years for oil changes, tires and alignments due to convenience, location and I like their lifetime alignment deal. But when I schedule an appointment, I expect Ill be a priority at that time. After waiting thirty minutes and they were still not taking my car back, I decided to leave. This is not the first time for me to be unsatisfied there. I keep trying, but having no luck. When I pointed out that I make an appointment for a reason, the response was, yeah, were really busy today. Arent we all? I hope I can find something more convenient. I know of a mobile mechanic. I think he does oil changes. And I used to love Discount Tires when I lived in California, so Ill give them a try again when I get new tires later this year.
These guys suck. I needed an alignment after replacing tie rod ends and ball joints, I called to make an appointment and told them EXACTLY what vehicle it was for (Dodge Ram). So I get there Saturday afternoon only to have them tell me it won’t fit on their rack.How the hell do they not know what vehicles they can align or not? Now I’m screwed because I have to drive it to work all week and will probably wear my tires with my best guess alignment.Never ever using a Firestone again.

This place is absolutely the worst automotive facility ever. There “manager” or whoever he is named jake is terrible. The most disrespectful and knows nothing about vehicles. I would rather let my kids work on my car before I would let this place even look at it. If you go here you should get a medical exam. Jake also tried to proposition a woman while I was waiting. Words can’t describe how worthless he is.
The worst possible care for your car. I do not recommend you come here. I had to come to this location for a clutch replacement because my regular Firestone didnt have a mechanic that could do it. This place tried to tell me that I needed new mounts for my engine and transmission and new brakes with urgency. My friend who is a diesel mechanic had just changed out my engine mount and I had my transmission mount replaced in 2016. I dont know if they thought I didnt know this, but I passed on it. Then they threatened me that if I didnt replace my brakes Id be back in a few weeks! I told them no and to just do my clutch. The person i was working with, Romero, was rude and very aggressive about trying to get me to do all kinds of extra work on my car.A couple days after i pick my car up, my check engine light comes on. I decided to take it to my regular Firestone on Bannister where they have always been honest and given me amazing care. Turns out when I had my clutch replaced, they forgot to reconnect an exhaust hose AND they left parts of the clutch unattached!!! The mechanics at my place did a brake inspection to check the recommendation from the grandview location and told me my brakes were in fact fine and did not need to be replaced.This location should be ashamed of itself and be investigated for scamming clients and possibly endangering drivers with shoddy work.

I was pleased to learn Firestone honors lifetime alignments at all locations. I didn’t mention to them that my steering wheel was crooked but they caught it and fixed it for me too.

The guy there named Romero is bilingual he has to be Spanish he is very nice and friendly he will help to get you the service that you need in a timely fashion and he is good at explaining what is needed he is a people person he doesn’t talk with a lot I’ll call you so you may have to listen to him very carefully but nonetheless he is very knowledgeable I would recommend people to visit this location for their Firestone the heat it was pretty good for me not bad at all.
Terrible customer service. I went to Firestone to get my car repaired because it was smoking. Within a day it was having the same issue. I returned and told them that my car was not repaired the first time and that they should reimburse me for the labor the first time since they failed to repair it. They refused and tried to get me to spend another huge chunk of change for them to repair the real issue with my power steering fluid leak. They are dishonest and are only interested in trying to get money the of you.
Excellent customer service. They messed up and had my car for 29 hours for a problem they couldnt figure out. When they finally got my car to start so they could finish the diagnostic that I originally came in for, they charged me nothing and even came and picked me up. While I was frustrated, they never stopped being nice and bending over backwards to try to fix it and keep me updated. Id go back for tires and brakes, even if I might not for engine cooling systems.
Please don’t waste your hard earned money. I don’t care how many times they have new management. This place has they worst customer service I have ever seen. Got my oil change done and a inspection too. Quoted my $830 for new break pads. Went to other guy down the road and he fixed everything for $90. Not honest people and will not go their again. Oil change was fine.
Arrived for an appointment. They were completely redoing the inside so we were stuck outside waiting for an hour in a hot summer day. They were also very poor at communicating how long the check up would take.
Not good. Was not acknowledged right away. I said hello first and was made to feel like I did something wrong by saying Good morning. Perhaps he was having a bad morning. I called first to ask for info and was given the answers I needed but he hung up the phone before I knew the conversation was over. Very rude and Curt. I set an appointment online for this specific location, shop manager called same day to let me know he needed to order the tires I was requesting. ok that’s fine I was quoted at out the door price of 397.98 ok awesome I got cheaper tires. So I get to my appointment, and I’m going thru all the questions, and I ask to make sure my price is accurate based on the email confirmation. He says well those tires weren’t available so I got the next ones up ok?? And you you just now tell me this why? So my price jumps from 397.98 to 783.21????? Ummmm no I went to discount tire and got all 4 tires and a warranty for 425.00 and better tires...Yes I read the reviews and I’m glad I did which is why I wanted to make sure all my T’s were crossed and I’s dotted. Professionalism did not exist at this location as well after I questioned the price he walked away with an attitude.. READ THE REVIEWS THEY ARENT LYING ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!!
I went and had an inspection done here and they stole an item right out of my car. It was the little center piece that goes on the newer model iPhones when you want to connect an auxiliary cord or headphones to your phone. Anybody who has an iPhone 7 or newer, knows that without this piece, your phone music is useless unless you have Bluetooth capability. I called and the gal who answered the phone was very nice and even told me the name of the person who inspected my car. However, there is no way of proving the took it so nothing can be done. Absolutely RIDICULOUS and will NOT ever go back.
Had more problems with my car than when I brought it to get it fixed. Dont trust them. Their goal is to get you to spend as much money as possible. Liars and Thieves. Theyre plenty of cheap autoshops in grandview that do honest work. Just look at the reviews.
The front desk clerk was courteous but firestone is a total ripoff I fixed Goddaughters car in less than 45 minutes and spent $12.00 in parts, compared to $463. In parts and $295 labor, to put throttle body on and off .......
Went in to get a state inspection done. I thought all was good, and could go on and get my car titled, until I go to the dmv, and they tell me the inspector wrote the vin number wrong. So I decided to go back to get it fixed. Well turns out the inspector had left and there wasnt a manager on duty. So I wasted a total of 2 hours between there and the dmv to get absolutely nothing done. And the guys there couldnt do anything to help. Talk about useless!!

Places sucks I called to get a oil change they guy didn’t even check what car I had or anything or What kind of oil I wanted he just told me to the bring the car up there and it will be 40+ dollars 🤔 while the Firestone in raytown actually checks what car you have and is more reasonable with the price and with your choose of oil I don’t recommend anyone to go here

I had problems with a 97 pickup overheating and came here because it was close. Grandview firestone ran a $70 test and said it was a blown head gasket, but to fix it they would have to replace the whole engine. They quoted me roughly $3,150 to get it fixed. I still had to pay for the test but declined the repair. I took it to Mikes Auto and they tested it and found out it was a thermostat and EGR valve problem and the head gasket was fine.The fix actually cost $690.Firestone will scare you into over repairs and force your hand to apply for their credit card. Even then they may not have properly identified the issue.This particular shop has bad attitudes, unkowlegable mechanics, and scam prices.P.S. an oil change cost $45 took them an 1hr 45mins even with my scheduled appointment.But 1 star because at least their counter persons are polite.

Terrible service. Always give you the runaround, try to get you to do a bunch of work on your car, and charge an arm and a leg. I take my vehicle to a local shop in town now, but before that Id drive to the Firestone in Martin City... the Grandview location has always been unpleasant in my experience.
My experience with Firestone when I first starting coming here for car repairs was great. But recently within the last two years theyre service and customer service has been down right terrible. I went in about five months ago and got a brake service done and now is in need of new brakes after five months and was told it was the brake lines that caused my brake pads and rotors needing to be replaced. Being that I could not afford the price they was giving me to repair the brake lines I went to someone else to fix it cause they would not give me my warranty without it being fixed. But when I returned for them to repair my brake pads and rotors I was treated like I didnt matter and the guy at the front desk was very rude to me and other customers that walked in to get some assistance. The repair guys are also rude and disrespectful and treat you like your service and time dont matter. Because of this I will not be returning to this location anymore for repairs on my car. I was treated so unfairly and rude by the staff, I sat in the waiting area and cried because I had to sit and deal with that just to get something fixed that they failed to repair correctly. Firestone really needs to develop some customer service when dealing with the public because theyre attitudes are very horrible and the treatment of customers is worse then walmart.

My car was over heated. Steam and antifreeze was spraying everywhere. I went inside to get water and buy some antifreeze. They wouldnt sell me the antifreeze because they buy it in drums and wouldnt give me water.

When I had to get new tires, they recommended cheap/poor quality tires. Had to go back 3 times because they couldnt get the tires balanced correctly.
