I recently wrote a negative review about MotorMax Grandville location regarding a vehicle I purchased. Within 3 months that vehicle broke down. Imagine my displeasure when I was told by a mechanic that the head gaskets were bent and it needs a new engine. The salesman Isaiah who sold me the vehicle read my review and contacted me, which was surprising. Im glad he did. He stated why didnt you just call me, and we couldve figured out something to help you? He was right. I didnt call them to tell them about the car breaking down before I wrote my review. It made me wonder how many other prior customers who wrote negative reviews had done the same thing. In spite of the review I wrote MotorMax took back the vehicle, paid off the remaining balance on the vehicle, and gave me a choice on a new one. Mistakes can happen in life. Its commendable when there are people who can acknowledge that and then do what it takes to make things right. In my case, Isaiah and the entire Grandville MotorMax team did just that. I thank them for their empathy and compassion for their customers. It was refreshing to see with car dealership.

We purchased a Jeep from motor max of Holland. Everyone was super helpful and made the process easy.It was my daughters first purchase from a dealer and they were very informative, walked her through and explained everything really well.

The salesmen are friendly but the cars I test drove both had issues. Minor things but definitely not something I want when financing a vehicle.

I have been to this place a couple times. My first time was awhile ago and I have been back since. Its a great dealsership because they have all types of cars. The sales team does not push one particular brand on you which I love. They are extremely knowledgeable a friendly. Kenny Car helped me out and I ended up getting a nice deal on a slightly used car. Just purchased my 3rd Vehicle from them! First one was in 2014 went to look at a few cars and to see what our options were if any(credit wasnt that good) and to our surprise we actually got approved and they made sure we stayed within our budget. Friendly, kind and patient. Service was great!As far as the vehicle we purchased i would have to say there was a lot yet to be desired. All door jams were dirty, the visors had dirty hand prints on it and even could have had a better vaccuuming! The vehicle is in pretty good shape for a 2019, just dirty and not very appealing! For that reason i gave the overall 4 stars.

Mechanic Aaron is a joke. This guy couldn’t fix a hot wheels let alone a real car. He’s rude ignorant and lazy. This place is hit or miss they take the car straight off the repo line and onto their lot. If your car develops any issues your best bet is to take it somewhere else and pay out-of-pocket to get it fixed. Their mechanics are a bunch of clowns

Came in knowing exactly what I wanted, had done my research. Salesman Isaiah warmly greeted me, making sure I had everything I need. Dealership was willing to work with me on getting the right deal for me. Most importantly for me, Isaiah was very focused on whats best for me, and what he can do to make my experience with them better. He really went above and beyond.

Motormax Gr sold me a faulty car. I made multiple phone calls, brought my car up to motormax Gr so they could check my car heat. They kept leading me on .finally when winter reached I couldn’t take it anymore and had to go else where where I paid $1500 for my heat to be fixed.

My husband and I bought our last 4 cars from MotorMax. We bought our last 2 from Amos. Amos went above and beyond to help us get a car with our financial/credit situation. If you are in need of a car, and want an honest person, I would highly recommend Amos. When we are in need of another car, Amos at MotorMax, will be the first person we call.

This is a stereotypically shady used car lot that employs salespeople who play games with you and communicate TERRIBLY. Im talking about you sales manager Kenny! Kenny got me so excited by giving me a great offer for my car. He made it very clear that this price will be the same whether I trade my car in for one of their cars or I just sell them my car for cash. However, he aggressively pushed me to trade my car in for one of MotorMaxs overpriced used cars. When I made it clear that I just wanted the cash, Kenny told me that he has to get the deal approved by the buyer who I JUST missed. Thats when Kenny stopped being a super accommodating, fun, and cool salesperson. I had to call him to get an update about my car once the buyer was available again. Kenny then informed me that Id lose $2,000 if I didnt want to trade in my car for one of their overpriced cars. I was ok with that sudden change because I managed to find a used car that I wanted to trade my car for. So, I decided to make the 1 hour drive to this dealership. Im so glad that I confirmed things with Kenny right after I left. He told me that now, the buyer doesnt want my car at all no matter what since he just purchased a very similar car (and doesnt want two of the same cars on his lot God forbid). Although Kenny knew this, he chose not to call me up. I couldve driven 120 miles round trip for nothing. Of course, Kenny tried to be empathetic and totally threw his buyer under the bus. I asked him to call me up when that similar car sells so that I can make the trade. Of course I hear NOTHING from Kenny for weeks. After a few weeks, I called him up and found out that this similar car sold in 1 day and now theyre interested in my car again. However, he claimed that used cars are now worth less. So, hell probably have to offer me significantly less $. I then went to their website and noticed that none of their used car prices have gone down in price. Nonetheless, I found a car that I wanted to trade my car in for. However, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of Kenny. Instead I sent an inquiry about that used car via their website. Regardless, nobody got back to me. I finally got a hold of someone the following afternoon and I was informed that the used car sold that morning. Overall, Ive had a TERRIBLE experience working with this dealership. I wasted WAY too much time making 2 round trips to check out their cars on the lot and the 100+ cars on their website. I HIGHLY recommend that you steer clear of this dealership and save serious $$ by working with a private seller via FB Marketplace, Autotrader, Car Gurus, or eBay motors.

Review of Kenny Buron at MotorMaxWow, where do I begin?! After dealing with several salesmen and being disappointed time after time we happened to come across Kenny. We were dead set on a different more expensive vehicle that happened to sell at the exact time we voiced our interest and instead of pushing us towards spending more money he found us a cheaper SUV with lower miles and in extremely nice condition. It had everything our family needed! If you need a car call Kenny, he’s a good guy, puts your needs first & his thick accent will make you smile.

Motormax is the worst to deal with. They are shady. Telling you everything is in great or perfect condition. You look it over and find issues. They say they will fix. But when they fix it they damage something else. They never end up fixing it completely. You will end up spending way more money than you thought. And they will take weeks to fix something while damaging something else. They are the biggest, shadest con man I have ever heard about. Run as fast as you can away from there.

Isaiah was awesome to work with. Made the car buying process enjoyable. The sales manager (can’t remember his name) was fun to work with. Very energetic. Got me the car I wanted at the price I wanted. Could not have asked for a better experience. The car I bought needed some work done to it. The management did everything I asked and was very helpful with that process. Even gave me a little upgrade to the parts I had replaced. All in all great experience. If you need a new car go to Isaiah at MotorMax. He And the team there will take care of you.

My experience with this establishment is unsatisfactory. I first arrived on 9/29/20 to see if a vehicle was still available due to not seeing it on the lot. Kenny apparently a sale associate (his clothing did not state anything professional) stated that the vehicle might be sold that a customer took it to the bank for a check and has not returned yet. I asked if the sale of the vehicle did not go through if Kenny could call me, he took down our number and stated he would call. On my way home later that night, I noticed the vehicle was on the lot, with no phone call from Kenny! The next morning I arrived at this dealership before they open. I was greeted by a salesman who I told what aspired the day before. He told me he would get someone to help me. Kenny (again not dressed professional) came out. I test drove the vehicle and told him that my son would like to purchase it. Kenny took down all my sons information and I left. Later that day Kenny asked my son for more information for the purchase of this vehicle and it was sent to this establishment. Apparently, some miss communication took place between my son and Kenny. I called and left a voicemail for Kenny 9/30/20 at 2:36p to see what was going on this this transaction. My son nor myself received a return phone call even though they are open until 8:00pm. 10/1/20 at 10:03am (they open at 9:00am) Kenny called me, he stated that my son was suppose to just show up after work to sign the paperwork. I stated that there must have been some miscommunication and if he could please tell me what the cost of the vehicle and payments would be I would get ahold of my son. Kenny said ya, I can get that but..... They sold the vehicle last night! I hung up!I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. This business fail to meet their customers needs, with poor quality of service. Apparently this establishment does not know the GOLDEN RULE: Treat others as you want to be treated. Customer service is about personally making any effort to make your customers happy. I guess a return phone call is not in this establishments policy!

They are great! Ken was my salesman, he was wonderful!! I went in not having the best of credit and he searched until he found someone to finance me, even helped me find reasonable insurance.. He was so patient and helpful..Even to this day, eight months later, If I need help with something(headlight, battery windshield wiper, etc) he tells me to come on in and helps me out with it..I highly recommend Max Motors,(especially Ken)!

I bought a bad lemon 2017 gmc yukon denali in May from this place let me tell you i regret it was an almost 40,000 vehicle..next day of purchase i realized no a/c and no left side tail light i called glen he said they could not fix because shop was closed due to covid very strange because body shops and mechanics were open i told him i really neded the a/c i had my newborn and of course if i bought a new car is because i needed a car to rely on it was anight mare to deal with Glenn would never return the calls he would always say i ca you nack well a day or so would pass by and nothinh so there i waa calling back y rhen he already sounded bothered well i was bothered too that i had no a/c and it was almost 95 degrees i have to work so i needed to take my kids to day care..well after a month or so of me calling like 20 times finally was fixed... i already had to replace the started which it cost me almost 600 dollars last month. This truck was not inspected before reselling it... i called again to get a refund for the warranty i had on the previous vehicle i trade in since i had bought one and never used it guess what i called anz they said glenn was busy they would have him call me he never did., i also talk to kenny who took photo of my license but again i nevred hear back .. i will file a complaint with secretary of state and BBB about this place about their practices so more customerz are aware i waited to make this review to see if they would help but nothing .. (the first time bought a car from them in 2018 i bought it from mike who was very very nice but this second time experience was horrible with Glenn)

This dealership were awesome and super Friendly! You feel at home and they give you so much trust with handling their cars and testing driving them! You feel comfortable and don’t feel pressure into jumping head first! Highly recommend them!
