I ordered a used rose gold controller and usually Im really cautious with buying used items but GameStop quality checks their used stuff so I decided to go for it. When I received the controller however there was an issue right away with the left joystick getting stuck in the upper right position which didnt bother me much and then as soon as I got into a game I realized that the RIGHT joystick was drifting really bad. Like very violently, I couldnt use it without my camera panning upwards constantly. Tried using an air duster but it did not work. I got a refund for it at my local GameStop, but not including the taxes and shipping fees so I have to write this review because it was not worth the trouble I went through for $53 used controller. Listen to the other reviews, they dont quality check anything.

Theres always that one guy thats overly excited to work there and I always enjoy being helped by that person. Unfortunately this time was not the case person that was there did not seem to really enjoy being there. Was not very helpful explaining the promotions and how to maximize our spending budget. Went to a different GameStop and had a completely better experience

I placed an online order from this store and Im highly disappointed. Its almost as if the person who picked this out mindlessly threw it into an envelope without checking the quality and shipped it without second thought. The game itself is horrible looking as well. A plethora of scratches, fingerprints and two giant lines are going through the game as well.As a long time collector and player this is borderline disrespectful to send something that looks as bad as this. At least clean the disk up and make the case look a little better to show that you somewhat care.

I ordered a steering wheel for my Sons party that listed as same day delivery. It even had a count down saying if I ordered it within that time, Id get my delivery in time for his party same day as it was being dropped off from store. Needless to say after they took my money no item came and the date switch until the next day at 8pm. I immediately called the store and customer service twice and let them know it was specifically for a party that night and since it wasnt going to be there on time as promised refund me because my wife had to go pick up something else for his party. All 3 people said the refund was processed, they literally promised and reverified and would be here by now on the purchasing card. And still there is nothing. Zero put back in. Zero. They havent responsed to Better Business either. They all 3 just flat out lied. When I asked them for and email confirmation for refund they said it will come when the refund is processed. Odd. So looking around online it seems to be something gamestop does to rush sales but then not deliver or refund. Im hurt and upset because Gamestop ruined my Sons party and we had to scramble to find something else for him and the party last minute. Just return my money.

Holy cow. My husband and I have been looking for a new Switch dock since our original one had its HDMI port fried during a thunderstorm. I randomly went searching for one while I was waiting for my food to go and saw that there was a refurbished one at this GameStop. I called and Adam answered. He was SUPER friendly and helpful and he put the dock on hold for me. I made it there in 30 minutes and he pulled it out of the back, in all its glory. I am so grateful for him and just had to leave a review! Pay him more!

My review is horrible not due to me having experience with this GameStop, but with the shipping conditions of this GameStop. I accepted the terms and services: shipping takes 5-10 business days. Allow 1-2 days before hand for the store to get the item prepped for shipping. Yes, those were perfectly fine and reasonable. However I ordered a product on December 28. I waited due to holidays. Then on January 19 I decided to check why it was taking so long. I had to do heavy tracking on when exactly I would get my order. Apparently it hadnt even been shipped, and it would be shipped on January 23. Nearly a month after I ordered it. I emailed a support line, and found out it was on back order which I had not been told until I asked them. On January 30 I checked on the shipping status of my item, and it said open. Which means it still hasnt been shipped yet. This review is to ask anyone else if I should drive down to the store, which is only half an hour away, and just pick the item up myself?

I received an online order for a $50 game from this store. On the box of the game there was a sticker that said “disc won’t read”. I put the game into my Wii and the game didn’t work. Seems obvious that you shouldn’t send a game if the disc won’t read...

I Have Tried To Return The Controller December 26th 2018 And Was Denied Because It Had Been Opened. Also, They Have No Mercy Towards Standard Holiday Return Policy’s For Their “New Items” As Well. My Controller Box Was Only Secured By Two Pieces Of Tape, No Plastic Anywhere. Highly Unsatisfied Customer And Will Not Be Going Back Until This Policy Is Changed

I was told that if I preordered a game in their store I could go to another game stop closer to my dads (the parent i live with) and my mom paid. Well I went and the people in the game stop told me that this wasnt the case and I couldnt do that and Id have to go back to grape vine (2 hours from where my dad lives).
