Helpful staff and knowledgeable! Great product selection for contractors and the average everyday family handyman. Only thing I would definitely recommend is getting more wood carts or contractor carts... You definitely can spend time looking for them, but overall great!

Grabbed one of the classic houseplants in a pot when I brought it to the cashier she tried to ring me up twice when I asked about/let her know that all the plants are in pots and they have the same barcode number she argued with me and said they are all sold separately. Just checked the site and advertised with the pots. So thats cool.

Please read before going to Home Depot!Get this .. On Wednesday I purchased shower kit. The man showed me all the boxes. I paid for it to pickup today. But when I want to Home Depot to pick it up.They some how lost the base and the back wall. When I told them that Home Depot down the road has some, have them bring them to your store. No we can’t do that. I would have to get a refund and drive 8 miles and purchase that item. I can’t fing believe this !

I think this Home Depot store is more compact vs other ones in the area due to location but they still have everything and i actually like the arrangement inside i found that i find things faster at the same time discovered other new stuff that caught my interest as well, like their outdoor/garden department, of course they have a huge selections for lighting options, types and styles wish i could fit all that chandeliers in the house...home improvement is always good and i think HD is a highly reputating shopping choice...

I had a defective part, with receipt. The Returns Dept said theyd do a swap. There was no available inventory of the part in this store. I didnt have time to go to another store, so they devised a solution that worked for me. I appreciated very much that they helped me complete a time-sensitive job. Customer Service Employee Emma was particularly helpful: when the department paged to assist us in the aisle took too long, she even came back to check on us. She was very attentive and made the experience hassle free, and most importantly successful and quick.

Way more kind to the customer than Lowes. Better prices and the staff are always happy to point you in the right direction. Skip Lowes and buy your supplies here, youll be better off cost wise and the staff appreciate your business

A MUST for any DIYer. Great for all odds and ends whether fixing up something outside or inside. Staff is kind.l but sparse. Download the app and it will tell you the aisle and bag of everything you want. Makes shopping easier. Self checkout is great. Expect lots of carts strewn throughout the parking lot not in the cart return (it’s a rite of passage) and expect lots of terribly parked cars. Join them by parking sideways. The paint people here are especially nice!

Disappointed with the phone etiquette. I’ve called numerous times for product availability, wasn’t warned that I was going to be transferred and then they hung up. Three times in a row, three very different staff. Very frustrating.

Clean store with positive, friendly atmosphere. The gentleman that helped me find the screws I needed was very friendly and helpful.

Its very difficult to get anyone even slightly interested in helping a customer any longer? I was interested in purchasing a small Ryobi battery powered chain saw. This store, Henrietta, N.Y., had stacks of inventory of Ryobi products out of reach. I managed to flag down one employee and asked him to scan the UPC shelf tag to ensure they had one in inventory. (I had to suggest this myself.) His scanner showed 2 in inventory. He then stood back and proceeded to take 10 minutes looking above. Im 62 and several inches taller than he is and had already searched every section which is why I bothered to waste my time asking for help to begin with! I then had to suggest he go get an isle step to better search for my saw. About this time another higher ranking team member came by (as I surmised because she was barking orders at him) to see what he was doing. I restated everything to her and she acted miffed that I seemed to be inquiring. After she played with her scanner and went through the exact same charade acting as if she could read the top inventories. [I should mention that I have 20-20 vision and she was wearing glasses.] It became very clear to me that she didnt want to aid me either. To further validate her position (as well as lack of commitment to the sale) her story turned contradictory and she declared that their inventory scanners were often incorrect??? The two of them eventually broke my spirit. It could have easily been a scene from a Laurel & Hardy movie! Despite being treated poorly by whom I will refer as the aisle/department manager, I thanked them and left without my chainsaw. Ill pick one up on Amazon.

Had an issue where I had to HAUL TAIL to Home depot because my door lock broke and I had no way to lock my house from inside or out. I googled this lock and it said ANTIQUE DOOR LOCK so immediately I freaked out thinking it was either going to be impossible to find a replacement for OR that it was going to be hella expensive. I got to home depot fast and only had to wait about 5 minutes while hardware customer service was making someone house key copies. I explained what I was looking for (taking a photo of the lock prior was actually a great idea) He proceeded with me down the door knob/hardware aisle and straight to the lock I needed. Wasnt an exact copy but was still something to help me replace my previous broken one. Check out was a breeze using self check out and credit card only kiosk. Everybody was friendly and my entire shopping trip only took 10 minutes from arrival to checkout.

This location for Home Depot has the most amazing employees. I dont know how they did it! Every person who helped me was absolutely fantastic. I was helped by Christina in paint (great eye for color and suggestions on brand), Patty finding where the vacuums were (super kind and honest), Milton helped me pick the right vacuum for the environment I was cleaning, Kelly helped me find grass seed that I needed for my yard, Larry gave me great grass tending advice, there was another nameless angel who helped get a proper cart for the stuff I was buying, Lisa let me do self-check, but asked Marlene to help me who did so with such kindness and efficiency, and Michael helped me load up my car and figure out how to put everything in it. It meant so much to me to get the help I needed to make my dreams come true. Definitely my favorite place to shop for my home goods. I also LOVE how many women employees they have! Woot Woot! Go Home Depot! :)

Workers are always friendly and happy to serve you. My DOG lives going there and says hi to everyone, especially other dogs. Some of the employees know my dog by name and not even my name, but thats ok.

Who in their right mind does not love home depot? If I could choose one place to have unlimited money to spend, this would be it.

So much better than lowes, while I do have issues with returned items being taped up and being put back on shelves with missing pcs Id much rather shop here than lowes.

They forgot to pull my order even tho it was scheduled for days so when I got there to pick it up not only was it not ready but they didnt even have it in stock anymore. This was an order that had already been paid for. They said they would deliver it for free once it all comes in again so well see what happens

Paid 4,000 cash and they wont reimburse cash they would only mail me a check🤬First of all I regret to have to write this review but I want people to know in case they ever find themselves in the same situation. I placed an order for my appliances back in march 26 I was given a delivery date which I was hesitant to take but I understood the delay. Then yesterday I received call after 33 days waiting for my appliances, stating that I still have to wait another 16 more days for my order which Im not ok with. I decided to go to the store and cancel my order. At the store I was told that they couldnt reimburse my payment in the same manner that I paid them. I paid $4,000cash and 3000 with a card they would only mail me a check when I didnt pay them with a check and have to wait around 14 days to get it. The manager Julie told me that samsung is having delivery problems which is not true because i received my samsung washer and dryer within 14 days that I purchased through a different strore. Keep in mind the samsung warehouse is only 5 hours away from here.How is it that HOME DEPOT doesnt have $4,000 on hand to reimburse someone. Now even if I wanted to go elsewhere and buy my appliances I will have to wait for the checks to arrive then wait for them to clear up and then place my order.

I really depend on this place to have what I need. Been using on line orders as well. They have not disappointed.

I bought four exterior doors and Associated Hardware yesterday. Lowes did not have the doors I needed so I went to Home Depot and actually not only did they have them but they were $10 a piece cheaper as well as the hardware was less and the quality was probably about the same. So thumbs up. They were helpful also in helping me move and load The purchase.

My wife and I went to Home Depot to plan out our kitchen remodel. We had the best person you could talk to and help plan out this kind of project. Her name is Bevin and she helped us with every detail you could think of for a kitchen remodel project. I cannot say enough how much she helped us with picking stuff out and making sure we stayed within our budget. She made the experience overwhelmingly easy and I will make sure I put up pictures of the remodel once its done.Updated 10/26/18. Went from 5 star to 3 star within a month after the sale of 14 grand of merchandise. Bev was good. But the rest of dealing with this store was horrible. Took for ever to get my merchandise, the wrong merchandise was sent delaying the project and home depots return process is absolutely dreadful. If it wasnt for Bev this would be a 1 star.

I have to say... Been really frustrated trying to secure a decent 30 storm door this season. And a solid security door? Even worse. Tried Gates, Irondequoit, and Penfield locations and none were very helpful. Had to replace a door at Penfield, but they couldnt figure out how to order the door I needed using the store credit they gave me... Which I couldnt use online! Luckily, I went to the Greece Home Depot and was rescued by Kim (mostly), Nick, and Caesar in the Pro area of the store. Appropriate I found the trio in that section. Kim took the time to walk with me and check their inventory. When we eventually had to order the specific door (Anderson 2500) she looped in Nick to make sure the store credit could be applied. Had to appreciate, too, Kim asking me for my name so when she started talking to other associates about the situation I wasnt just the customer. Little things like that make a huge difference in an experience. Found my new home store, and Im going to always double check to see if one of those three are around to assist. Thanks peeps!

Im finding I like Lowes more. Service at HD is good but selection of my favorites is better at L. Lowes is more finish construction and home depot is more rough construction. Prices are similar. HD is close to my home for sure. However the virus has taken its toll on HD inventory where L seems to have been far less effected.

This is a difficult one for me! The store is great friendly staff and helpful. I caution you if you have a project that requires an installer coming to your home!! I have had 2 come for separate things about a year apart and I will NEVER do this again!! The first one was for a garage door and door opener. When the man came to measure for the door and make sure everything was all set in order for me to order it and install it his whole persona was as if he couldnt be bothered with the job or explaining anything to me about it. He had a nasty attitude and bad demeanor to the point I called and complained and said I did not want him back at my house! Home Depot called and told the installing company what I said then the company told the installer and months later I had to have him come to my house because they told me it was him or no one!! my first question was why on Earth would you tell him what I said and then send him back to my house for me to have to deal with him?! Then previous to him coming back to my house to do the install with no other option, the Home Depot rep. called me to let me know that the company was threatening to charge me with a storage fee for holding the garage door at the facility that employs the installer!! I told him that I never signed anything saying that I would be charged any kind of storage fee reminded him of the issue I previously had and told him he could send the door back if they want to try to charge me a storage fee!! when the man came back and did the installation of the door & garage door opener he never put a light bulb in the door opener and left it hanging open when he left! Yeah thanks allot!! That was just to sum it up for you.The second installer that came was for a man door on the back of my garage. it was replacing frame and door he walked up to it looked at it and said I cant do this youre going to have to call a contractor! I thought thats what you were a contractor contracted by home Depot to do these kinds of things?! No?! He tried to give me a bunch of excuses on why he couldnt do it. I had other workers here that day painting my house and after he left they all looked at me and said that guy just didnt want to do his job! I called my friend he came over and put in the door frame and door for me so CLEARLY it could be done!! Absolutely a frustrating waste of time!! Dont do it!!

Great store with generally cheap prices. Its hard to get help finding a product or to get help cutting wood. I always spend a lot of time just trying to get help or find something. This place is usually pretty crowded. This would be 5 stars if they carried stick and peel vinyl flooring. They have a good selection of carpets in store and the lumber yard is great.

Luv the employees here! Ive met several that are way over qualified for their jobs here but they r here cuz they actually like their job! These are the ppl who make the customer experience exceptional, whether its just exceptional customer service, a comedic outlook or sharing experience & knowledge. Why did you remove Veterans parking spots for Curbside pickup? You could have placed either one in another location. This is located at West Ridge Road in Rochester, NY. I will not go there anymore.

Every other employee I interacted with was great.This one was not, he came down the aisle I was in without wearing a mask, got really close to me so I had to back back up to keep away from him because he wanted apparently to look at the exact thing I was looking at. Didnt say anything to me at all just completely ignored me. And went back off to the rest of the store again without wearing his mask.I even saw him like 10 minutes later with a older customer and he wasnt wearing one then either. It wasnt a momentary thing.Everybody else was great every single other employee interacted with was a positive experience

Last summer I purchased an LG 8000 BTU portable air conditioner. It was the last one they had and it was on display. I was fine with that it was in good condition. But because they did not have a box I was not aware that the unit came with a window kit and a remote control. I asked the sales associate if there were anything they came with it and they told me no. I only use the unit once for an outside tent a event. Now that my home is in need, It’s blowing both cool and hot air, that’s how I find out The window kit is missing. When A merchant has items on display they should always make any parts and assessor is available for purchase along with that item, now I’m stuck with the unit and then have to find parts and pay more money for something that should’ve came with it. 😤😠
