We brought our Challenger to them to have cats and headers put on. We were told the lift broke this is the damage done to our car. They had put something over the marks to hide it and they damaged the seal in the front no one said anything to us about the damage they could at least told us and to be honest. They have lost our business I would give them no stars if I could.

I recently had my car inspected at one of those quick stop garages in Hadley, MA and it failed inspection. I was asked to come into the garage as they’d put the car on the lift and a mechanic explained I needed a new muffler and perhaps one of the connecting pipes. He said there probably was a hole on top of the muffler. They could have the parts in an hour and the cost would be approximately $1000.00. Having some doubts and because I’d never used this garage for repairs (other than for annual car inspections), I called a garage I’ve used in the past: Lundgren Honda in Greenfield, MA and spoke with Jon. He gave me an appointment within the week and they found the muffler and pipe were fine…I only needed to replace a rusty flange. Total cost: under $250.00. Granted if the muffler and or connecting pipe needed to be replaced, then I would do it willingly. However, at the Hadley Garage, it all seemed like a hard sell and I wasn’t sure I trusted the mechanic’s opinion. I felt I was being taken advantage of because I failed the annual auto inspection. I liked Jon, the Service Advisor I dealt with at Lundgren Honda and felt I was in good hands. For 30 or so years my sister has had her car serviced under the guidance of Rob Avery, the Service Manager at Lundgren Honda and trusts him explicitly. I like the atmosphere at Lundgren and find people are friendly and helpful and in this case, they saved me lots of money!

I can not say enough about this place..When you shop here, you get an Agent, not just as salesman.. That matters~They have a larger inventory of cars than most of the other places in the area, including Northampton .Scott was polite, knowledgeable, and eager to help us find the right car for our daughter. We spent hours searching and comparing, and he never once showed aggravation, boredom or a plain ole I hate my job attitude..It felt like getting together with an old cousin we hadnt seen in years .Friendly, Competent, Hard working, and all around incredible service here in Greenfield..Hubby and I will be needing a car in the near future, and its comforting to know we already know where to go, and who to see.I highly recommend Lundgren Honda of Greenfield, if youre in search of a new car.. We “hobbled” off the highway after a minor scare that affected our new Honda CRV and luckily were able to find your dealership. Probably the best dealer Ive ever been too! Every single person in the Greenfield location blew me away, from the moment My family and I walked in they were nothing but respectful and polite sold us no B.S! Went in to look at a vehicle walked out the same day car was reg insured and inspected. No all day Hassel waiting for a NO sorry we cant help you. Phil offered to get us lunch while we waited, Connie with the finance dept was professional and got us the best deal and Lisa waited after store hours to make sure our car was ready to drive home!!! It waa terrible we have had our 2011 honda accord for A LITTLE MORE THAN A YEAR AND SENSE WE PULLED THAT CAR OUT OF THE LOT IT HAS HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR OVER A YEAR FOR THEM TOO FLIP IT AND WAS DENIED AGAIN . So glad Rob Avery was there to rescue me, minutes before he could have left for the night my CV axle let go of my transmission down the road. He waited for me to arrive in the tow truck and got me sorted and checked in within moments. I bought my car at another dealer and regretted it. For the past year Ive been coming to Lundgren for everything from maintenance to repairs to winter tires, and they are honest, upstanding, helpful, and competitive in their pricing. I did my research, and they made me a deal that beat all of the discount tire places in Chesterfield, NH. When I needed to replace an expensive part that was broken in a fender bender, they recommended I try to find an aftermarket part and have an independent mechanic install it-- thats how honest they are. People say never to go to the dealer for service because they rip you off, but this has not been the case at Lundgren. They are great.Update: 4-21-21I wrote the above in 2019. I moved away a few months later and wasnt able to use Lundgren for service for two years. Upon moving back just recently I found them better than ever. First, Honda America sent me an extended warranty offer for parts relating to a starter malfunction, and Lundgren had replaced those parts for me in 2019. Rob was incredibly helpful in gathering the required documentation of service so that I could get my refund from Honda. Then, when I needed my winter tires taken off, he got me a replacement tire I needed very quickly and let me use a loaner car for the day while my tires were changed and his technicians checked out a noise for me. When I got back home after the tire change, one of the tires was flat. Rob sent someone right away to pick up the car and leave me a loaner, and even though this wasnt the new tire he had gotten for me and the leaking valve was likely not their fault, he replaced the tire at no charge and then sent the technician to return my car to my door. I dont even live in Greenfield, but 20 minutes away in Brattleboro. Does service get any better than that?

There was little to no knowledge about the vehicle for sale, drove long time to go and see it, after discovered few safety related issues I told the salesman (witch was not interested in selling that car to us) I was willing to take care of them if the price will accommodate the cost, answer was very vague, he offered $400 discount, (damages were well over $1700) Ive offered $800 less than their price and the answer was: if you dont want the car thats ok, someone else will maybe thats not the car for you oh, and even though they wont do anything for me at the rmv he wanted $492 on fees for paperwork... (Remember that $400 discount) sorry we did not felt welcomed.. we ended up driving a lot more, bought a car less miles, better equipped, for more $$ ($$was never the issue, he made it an obstacle) so, if you dont have a $ tattooed on your forehead dont go there...

I have always loved the service department but this sales experience (new Honda Fit, my third Honda) was the easiest and most pleasant I have ever had. James was straightforward with me and they did what they said they would do. Once I made the purchase he was very patient explaining all the new technology to me and helped me get it all set up. I have already talked them up to all my friends. I had to come back to have the external simonize applied and James was busy. James filled Andrew in and he was waiting for me at the door. These guys are a very efficient team and work together well. Connie is a sweetheart and was wonderful at explaining all of the paperwork and financing.

We have recommended him to many of our friends, who have said the same thing. Marty has treated everyone he deals with, with genuine love and respect and always greats us with a big smile and a hug. He has never been one to pressure his customers, which is a rare thing today. He definitely makes one feel like part of the family. He is our forever Sales Person. Another highly recommended Employee is Connie Grabowski. She took care of the complete transaction. Her knowledge of the financial is incredible! Always greeted us with a smile and a hug. Very disappointed with this Honda dealer. The salesman I saw was amazing. The woman in charge of financing said she tried financing through 2 different services. I did get approved but wasnt happy with the terms. A month later I check my credit report. She ran my credit SIX different times... I approved TWO.

I had a high pressure constant push kind of experience there that did not allow me to properly gauge my options or decide what the best value was for what I was looking to spend. Having been to lundgren in auburn in the past to by my first certified ore-owned(as well as knowing Honda’s basically sell themselves) I had decided to venture down here and see what was going on. James greeted me rather quickly after I entered and we sat down I told him what I wanted in a car and where I wanted the price to be. I Requested an appraisal on my vehicle a credit app and told him I would be in touch later in the week. He proceeded not to bother me or email me until after I returned ( for me the lack of pressure was the deciding factor). I looked at and called a few other places but decided to go and have a look at the inventory available at lundgren. He smiled as I walked in and said a car had just come in that morning that reminded him of what I was looking for. I fell in love with the 2020 Civic Hatchback Sport in the Sonic Gray color. After which the rest was quick and painless. From the moment I chose the car to when I drove it off the lot with the options I had chosen was all completed within the same day. The fact is that buying a car can be daunting, tedious, and even dangerous. That being said, I believe that I have found my permanent home dealership in Lundgren Honda of Greenfield. Gentle, (not pushy), personable, knowledgeable, When it came time for some subtle issues about the deal, Vito Tarantino, the sales manager was responsive, fair and helpful. When it came time to sit down with Connie for the paperwork, she presented additional add-on financial options, which we declined, and she didnt push back. She simply made everything clear and left decisions to us.After we bought our new Clarity, but before we took possession, our trade-in broke down, but Vito assured us that this didnt cause a problem or change the deal. Really enjoying my new car. It is roomy and a delight to drive. I did need to wait to get the model, color etc. for a few weeks to get it, but it was well worth the wait. Scott kept me informed regarding its delivery schedule. The car I selected was on a transporter which took a little longer than expected. Fortunately I was not in a situation where I needed a new vehicle immediately. Scott answered all my questions and was very patience. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I am sooooo.....glad the Lundgren family did the RIGHT thing with the return of Rob Avery as Service Manager. I have known Rob for 30 years now and have worked with him to service all my Honda cars over the years. It appears also that Rob was fortunate to retain his highly trained / skilled service technicians there as well.I trust them all. Even if you didnt buy your Honda at Lundgren...I would suggest to give them a try. No pressure sales for service you DONT need like Lia and Balise are famous for.👍

EDITED: Scroll down to see updated thoughts.They do good work, but they will rip you off if you don’t present like you know a lot about cars and are firm with them.I brought in my civic for them to take a look at the clutch because it was acting weird. They told me it needed to be fixed, I asked what was broken / wrong and they just said it was bad. I didn’t buy it, and went on to put another 35,000-40,000 miles on it.I’ve had them do a timing belt, and some general maintenance on other vehicles. They do good work, but they don’t do honest work. This is typical of most dealerships but the whole clutch incident really turned me off to them. I can only imagine how much money they make screwing people over who trust them.EDIT: Kevin Shea gave me a call the day after I posted this, and after speaking with him, Ive updated the score to 3 stars. The service I received RE: my clutch was with an associate who is no longer there, and was before Kevins time as the Service and Parts Director. I feel that his response cleared up some of my apprehensions with their philosophy on how they treat their customers. He assured me that they would rather foster a continuing relationship with their customers than hit them with a huge bill once and lose their business, and that he encourages his staff to invite the customers to see the issue with the car in the shop rather than the general blind trust which the associate I dealt with operated on in the event that they are curious. I would be willing to give them a second chance given Kevins conversation with me today, since he seemed genuine, and put in the effort to try to make things right. I think most will agree, positive rep for a dealership is hard fought.

I have just leased a Honda FIT (2018) from this dealership. Its my first lease. I had done a lot of research but a newbie is a newbie...let me add that Id been to several other dealerships and at all of them (except this one) Id had a distinct feeling of pressure. I did not feel pressured by Lundgren, and only experienced simple friendly help. James Carr was outstanding--very knowledgeable about the car and relaxed in his approach. He put up with my doing 2 test drives and innumerable questions from me. Connie Grabowski in the Finance Office was thorough and patient and didnt mind when I returned the next day to change my mind about something and created a bit of extra work for her. Andrew Merritt popped in once or twice to answer some questions and was equally pleasant and low-key.I never felt pushed and in fact felt I could walk away and come back in a few months if need be, without any pressure at all from them. A big contrast to the other dealers. Ive had the car 24 hours so too soon to tell about the long-term, but at the moment I am very pleased and want to thank James and Connie for their assistance.

Customer service is Non-existent. You call and call and call and NOBODY ever answers.I have tried calling 9 times now.. I also went in and was speaking to a sales person about a vehicle and they came back and asked for a down payment. I returned the next day to finalize the sale and they tried to change the car on me and wanted $2500 more to get me into a more expensive car i didnt ask for. I would highly suggest avoiding them.

Dont ever go to Lundegren Honda if you dont have a brand new car. They refused to do an alignment for me because of my tires being very worn due to needing the alignment (which I understand) but they also said I had a loose tie rod which was completely fabricated and used fear tactics to try and get me to buy a new car. I will never purchase or service a car with them ever again. The only good thing was that they fixed a few recalls for me but I will never ever be returning or recommending this business to anyone. It should be possible for a young lady to get her car serviced without being treated the way I was. I would recommend going to Brown Motors where you will get service without the bulls**t, and if you arent there for a new car they wont push it on you.

I researched vehicles on the internet first. When I found the one I wanted, I was promptly contacted by the folks at Lundgren Honda to see how they could help. I set up a time for my girlfriend and I to go to the dealership, and the salesman, Phil Reilley, was there to greet us when we pulled into the lot. He was very helpful and courteous and did not pressure us at all. We test drove the car, which we loved, and we proceeded with the purchase which was very smooth throughout the process. Phil took the time to go over all the features of the car thoroughly with us and was very personable through the whole buying process. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

Christine Pappas at Lundgren was a dream to work with - informative and helpful without being sales-y. She handled all the details with competency, professionalism and courtesy. And since I was buying the car for my daughter from afar, she went to great lengths to make sure that the paperwork and the car were brought to my daughter so that I didnt have to figure out how to get everything to her. I was traveling from Vermont to Connecticut when my car starting having issues. We googled where is the closest Honda dealer in the area, thankfully Lundgren Honda was just 15 minutes away. I called and spoke to Katelyn Momaney. She was so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I didnt know what to expect. Although they were extremely busy, they took the time to look at my car and give me a report on what was wrong. They had the part in stock and had my car fixed and ready in less than 1.5 hours! I didnt meet the mechanic that did the work but I am truly grateful for your amazing customer service. I highly recommend Lundgren Honda of Greenfield MA. We were hoping to find a specific color but the 2016 models were almost gone and it looked like we had to go with our second choice. I took our van there to have the tire and rim fixed. Brian Sullivan had left me a message that there was more damage than previously thought. The pressure monitoring sensor was also broken. I spoke with Brian and decided to hold on the repair due to cost. When i went to go pickup the van, they had repaired the part and did not charge me. It was a pleasant surprise and I can attest that they do care about retaining their customers.

Christine Pappas and Marty Kendrick were absolutely fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any Honda purchase you may be considering. I am two hours away from their dealership as I live in Boston, but they had the exact car I was looking for. They worked with me over the phone knowing that the trip was pretty far. They gave me twice the value for my trade in that I was quoted over the phone with them as the condition of the car was better than I described. There was absolutely no pushy extras or excessive fees in any way on my purchase.They put my name on balloons over the car and were waiting for me at the door. I was floored by their friendliness and professionalism. As with many people, Ive been told that buying a car is always an adversarial experience, but this time the exact opposite happened: Christine and Marty wanted to see a new car that had sat on their lot gone, and I wanted the car they had. I left with all the full factory warranties on my brand new car; and they cleared up a space on their lot. Ill be back their for scheduled service whenever I need it.What a great experience. I cannot speak highly enough of it. Oh, did I mention, they baked fresh cookies before I arrived and shared them with myself and my girlfriend. We brought our 09 Civic to Lundgren to have 4 tires mounted and balanced, and to have them check the brakes. They mounted the 4 tires, but in the mounting process damaged the face of all 4 of our wheels. They agreed to have the wheels fixed, so this was fine by me. They also told us that our brakes were fine at this time.We then got on the highway, and noticed that the car shook pretty badly. I took a look at the wheels, and the old stick on weights were still on the wheels. So, they never balanced the wheels after mounting the new tires. We then took the car to Lia in Northampton to have them check the brakes, and our rear pads were totally gone. When I asked to see the pads, there was literally no material left on the brake pads. Im not sure how Lundgren could have mistaken that for fine.When calling back to make the appointment with Lundgren to have the wheels rebalanced, we asked them to check our fluids (we had just prior to this discovered the steering rack was leaking). We were told that the rack was leaking pretty badly, and therefore made an appointment to have the rack replaced. We left that day with the wheels balanced, an appointment made to replace the leaky steering rack, and our fluids topped off, or so we thought. When getting back on the highway, and trying to used the windshield washer, it was still empty. So, later that day, I decided to open the hood and check all the fluids. Turns out they never topped off the power steering fluid either, after telling us how drastic of a leak it is. For those of you who are familiar with Honda products, you know that the power steering fluid reservoir cap is a bright red plastic. The cap was still covered with a sludge, therefore, the cap was never removed, and fluid never added. THIS IS A SUPER BASIC SERVICE. It should be second nature to check and top off fluids with every service. Especially windshield washer fluid. And in my case, after telling me about a major power steering leak, top off my power steering fluid. BASIC BASIC BASIC STUFF.Anyway, we had the wheels fixed, and the rack replaced, and the washer fluid filled up at Lundgren, but had the rear brakes done at another Honda store. They corrected the issues, but my thing is that why was it not done right the first time? Especially something as simple as checking the brake pads, and topping off fluids.

It seems as though Lundgren Honda only responds to reviews that post positive reviews. People who have left reviews that have had problems get no response from the owner. There is no response that says please contact us we want to make this right. That makes me think they do not handle problems well and makes me nervous to make a purchase

I had exactly the same experience with Owen Wallace. They may be able to do good things as requested, but they will certainly try to milk you as possibly as they can. Have a clear mind before you go to this dealership. I was robbed for over 300$ for what was intended to be an oil change and rotation, because this is my first car and I didnt know too much about cars.

I worked with Rick Cramm at Lundgren over the last few days and had a really pleasant experience. Id been looking at CR-Vs, and saw that the Greenfield location had one that fit my specifications almost exactly. From the moment I first spoke to Rick on the phone to the time I left the lot a few days later, I felt that I really had the time and attention of a well-informed team. Rick was great about being in touch with me, and had a lot of useful info to share on the test drive about specific characteristics of the model. Ultimately, I found a deal I couldnt pass up elsewhere, and because of Lundgrens no-haggle policy I didnt end up buying through them. However, I like the ease of the no-haggle policy and I found Rick and the general manager to be really authentic, friendly and helpful people. I felt respected and that is worth a lot to me. I would recommend Lundgren and Rick to anyone who sees their dream car in their inventory. Thanks guys!

Scott Kuzmeskus showed a high level of professionalism, compassion and had no agenda of selling us something we werent interested in purchasing. He took his time to make sure that we were able to select a vehicle which would meet our needs and be pleasing to us as well. Thank you, Scott for your great personality and helping us select a vehicle which we will enjoy for many years in the future. We will definitely return when we are looking to buy our next vehicle. On a side note, the dealership was clean and had a great room for children which helped make the experience of having our daughter with us easier. My trim level and color I wanted are tough to locate. Scott and the Lundgren crew got the trim level but, not my initial color choice. I can honestly say the color they found for me works perfectly. They have great promotional deals here. We take our honda here for repairs, and they do a good job. There is usually a bit of of wait, but there waiting room is nice, theres complimentary coffee and wifi, so it makes the wait bareable. The staff is nice, and we are repeat customers.

My new 2017 Civic is the 8th vehicle in the 20 years (17 years legally) Ive owned. I have dealt with many dealerships in three different states, and several in this recent car buying experience of mine. This was, by far, the BEST car buying experience Ive ever had! I browsed the site and requested more info/prices on a couple different cars. I received a call and email from Andrew the next day. We talked via email about what I was looking for. I went in and test drove three cars. While I liked them, I wasnt in love with them and I expressed that to Andrew. We talked about other options and he never once pressured me about anything. Andrew said hed talk to his business manager Connie over the weekend and get back to me. In that time I checked out a few other cars and dealerships. One of the dealerships was pretty bad but the other was good. I still felt conflicted though and once again went home to mull over my options. I got an email from Andrew about being approved for a newer Civic than the one I test drove. I went in and took it for a spin and WOW. I was in love pretty much immediately. There was still no pressure from Andrew, Connie, or anyone else and everyone worked with me to get the amount I wanted for my trade. Ive had my Civic for a few days now and Im absolutely loving it. Ive gone back to the dealership to get help from Andrew and hes been great! He truly cares about his customers and their satisfaction. I will definitely recommend Lundgren to anyone looking for a new car!

We came into Lundgren Honda in Greenfield and were greeted warmly by Scott Kuzmeskus. We wanted to look at CR-Vs based on some research that we had done on line. Scott sat with us and learned a bit more about us and our needs. He then took us out for a test ride and explained the various features of the car. We ended up buying the car that afternoon. We met Connie Grabowski later on in the process. She patiently described various extended warranty and protection packages.Overall our experience with Scott and Connie was a low pressure, satisfying experience. The dealership and associated service department looked very professional and well managed. We love the car and the buying experience.

I would rather go to a dentist and have teeth pulled than shop for a new or used automobile. My experience at Lundgren Honda in Greenfield however has changed my opinion. I was made to feel extremely welcome, appreciated and listened to. My time was not wasted with a lot of sales ploys or trying to talk me into something I did not want. There was no high pressure negotiating needed and it was always left for me to make the final decision. I ended up leasing another Honda Civic Hybrid and was amazed at how quickly my new car arrived. This is my second lease through Lundgren and it wont be my last shopping experience with them. The best part was their sharing in the excitement of my new vehicle and their really going all out to make sure I was totally satisfied. My past experience with their service department has also been just as outstanding. Brian was always very pleasant, professional and everything was done right the first time. I cant say enough good things about this dealership. It is nice to still find a place that puts such emphasis on Customer Service and Satisfaction. I never had the feeling that any of their staff was there just to have a job. They all care about helping their customers and filling their needs. Rick Cramm and Marty Kendrick were still on the job looking for potential vehicles even while I was making my final decision. Altho greenfield has a great customer service center and we were planning on purchasing a new HondaI just dont understand their pricingThey say oem parts ( 2 duralast roters and 2 break pads for front of car) witch cost less than 150 at AutoZone and took them less than a 1/2 hr to install cost me 460 bucksParts and labor ....problem is I sat across the st so I know when the car was pulled in and when they were donePricing system is just wrong so I think ill install the rear roters and pads and save 300 bucks ( 1/2 ) hr labor costOther then that great people great service

Dishonest Thieves, Don’t trust the Service Department!!!We made a mistake taking our Odyssey Van in for the 100,000 mi service. They had to put a new timing belt, water pump, tighten the valves and put new valve cover gaskets on. When we took the van in the air conditioning worked fine. When we got the van back $1600 later the air conditioning was broken and rude comments from the service department of, “We Didn’t Break it, but for $500 dollars we will see why its broken!” and “it looks like there is a broken gasket which is about $1500 to fix!”Having had enough of the arrogant rude comments from the service department my wife took it to our mechanic who told us all it needed was a can of refrigerant to fix it and why would they let the Freon out of the air conditioning line?LYING THIEVES!!! THEY PURPOSPLY BREAK IT TO CHARGE YOU TO FIX IT!!!! DON’T TRUST THEM!

Loved my 2009 Honda Accord, but it was time to trade it in. A hard, quick decision....made much, much easier with Marty Kendricks help and reccomendations. Picked the car out on Monday and drove away on Tuesday!! Immediately drove to PA and really love my new 2016 Honda Accord.
