If you want a REPUTABLE MECHANIC you need to hit up my man Kufre!I just got a used vehicle, and was referred to him by my closest friend (whos obsessed with cars and extremely picky about his mechanics). Like any used vehicle, it did need a few fixes, but i was worried someone would just want to throw a ton of parts on it that it doesnt need just to dig into my wallet. Im glad i trusted my friends recommendation! This guy is the best mechanic Ive had!He drives out to you so he always works with your schedule, his work is detailed and thorough, and his prices are more than fair. His explanations were easy to follow and laid out with images in an email of my vehicles parts, the severity of the issues, and the cost of parts and labor so i could map out a good budget plan. He went out of his way to help track down quotes and aide in retrieving some information for my vehicle that wasn’t even in his specific realm. Took my vehicle to the dealership to be serviced, initially, and it came out worse than when taken in. Mr. Kufre assessed my situation and car, provided some guidance and we got right to business.Very upfront, honest, professional, and punctual!Quoted me a price, we set an appointment & the work was completed as & when he said it would be. Car running better than when got it off of the lot and back from dealership.Offered some very insightful and beneficial information - to now as have had a chance to do my own due diligence; he is very knowledgeable in his field and craft.Discovered another issue upon doing a courtesy inspection - and didn’t attempt to push any further services on me pertaining to the issue and actually made recommendations of a resolve in case was interested to take it elsewhere for a second opinion or to be fixed. So could be prepared and know what to inquire about specifically.Certainly goes the extra mile. Have recommended and will recommend.Very thorough.

I knew I was coming up on an oil change, and knew there was an issue with one of my tires having a slow leak, but Im new to Greensboro NC and didnt know any repair shops in the area. So, a quick Google search and the first one I see is Favour. I check the reviews and they were mostly positive, I proceed to call and he was able to come out the same day, only a couple of hours after calling. He was extremely informative, very affordable, and very pleasant to talk to. Youve gained a repeating customer, sir. Keep up the great work!

I was driving through Greensboro from out of town when one of my brake calipers started locking up. It was after 5 pm when I called Favour. He was willing to help me out (though most other shops were closing), so I wouldnt be stuck and came to where I was broken down to deal with the issue. He was able to diagnose the issue over the phone and came with the parts that were needed. Besides working after hours, he also went the extra mile and replaced the rotor and brake pads on the other side - where he noticed a thin rotor. In addition, he pointed out some other concerns with the car that I will need to address shortly (leaking oil pan). Overall, I would absolutely use Favour again and would make him my regular mechanic if I lived in the area.

I don’t see him as reputable and I don’t recommend him. Still not to mention how he was late as well. My review should not be removed just for the fact it’s not one that works in his favor.I gave a review based off my honest experience.

My alternator died when I was an hour and a half from home in an area where I knew no one. After googling shops in the area, I gave Favour Automotive a call. It was the only call I ended up needing to make. He literally rescued me off the side of the road and replaced my alternator on the spot for a very fair price. I’ll be making the drive from Raleigh to get some additional work done in the future. Great guy!

As a business owner myself and as an individual who always pay attention to customer service and detail favour Automotive is superior to the competition!Im a natural skeptic so I thought it would be a possibility that I would be wasting my time, energy, and money as I have in the past! But I was so wrong, they arrived at my house, communicated through text message, email, and my phone because Im so busy. They sent me pictures and gave me an analysis of what needed to be done right now, what needed to be done later, and even put more emphasis on the things that I did not repair explain to me what the importance was in detail, but not overbearing trying to upsell me parts and services! If you need Auto Repair remotely you should call these folks, dont hesitate call them and they will take care of whatever it is your needs are for your vehicle. Im very public look at my profile Im easy to find so you know that this is not some scam or a friend of the family of some backyard mechanic. In the beginning I thought the owner was one of the good guys in terms of mechanics in Greensboro. However, I have given him multiple chances and he has become completely unreliable. I shouldnt have to continue to call you when you should be calling me with updates, This would go on for weeks at a time. I can say with certainty that I will never ask for his service again. I made the mistake of going to a dealership to get an overall analysis of my cars ability to travel long distance before the holidays. They suggested some $2200 in repairs. A friend of mine heard about my dilemma and suggested Favour Automotive. I some mechanics in my family but they live hours away but in my phone conversation with Favour it was just like talking to one of my family members.After making me realize I didnt need half the work the dealership suggested I contracted Favour to do work that needed to be done. I am so pleased by not only the amount of professionalism bestowed upon me but also with the work performed.They even pointed out a Power Steering line leak (as evidenced by the amount of fluid shown right underneath the Power Steerling line) that the dealership never highlighted. There is still some honesty, integrity, and pride in workmanship left in this world thank goodness!!!

Kufre went above and beyond what I expected and looked over my entire car and gave me a clear and thoughtful evaluation on several issues. I have been using Favour Automotive Repair for 6 years now and the service I receive is excellent. They are prompt, effective, affordable and really know their stuff.

Kufre is very talented. I have been using his services going on three years. He has always been able to fix my car and get me back on the road.He portrays himself as one of the good guys who is being honest and not trying to get over on you. Supposedly the shops, autozone, everyone is wrong and he is right.I didn’t realize that he was charging $60+ for labor on simple fixes. He charges me $98 to change my coolant hose. With further investigation (once his high labor charges came to light) I realized the hose he changed is $15-$17 and he charges $16 for coolant so $65 for labor on something that takes 30mins. He said himself that it should take no longer than that.So two weeks later my car overheats on the highway. My natural instinct is to call him because we just changed the coolant hose. He says to me that he will order a replacement hose just in case it was that so he comes out to make sure it wasn’t the work he had already done. During the diagnostic he said it’s the thermastat and not the hose. I ask him face to face how much is that going to cost he said the part is $250. (I have a 2013 Chevy Cruze) if you want to research this but with investigation the part is $75. So once he sends me the invoice for $253.46 I confronted him about what I found out. He says the part is $77 and coolant is $16 and labor is $150....... to change a part that took him 30mins. Don’t we all wish we got paid that, now he could have added the diagnostic but please remember we did that because I just paid he $100 two week previously to fix something related to the coolant. Not to mention he told me the wrong part.Let’s discuss him being rude; he let me know after a few days of confusion because he told me the wrong name for the part that he was not willing to come out and do anything related to the part if he was not being paid. He sent a pretty nasty email and later apologized saying that he had customers who have not paid him properly. Again I’ve been going to him for two years. I never questioned the prices he quoted me until he told me something that was completely off. I never asked him to do any work for free.He says to me one time that mechanics may assume I don’t have money because I have an A&T Alum decal on the front of my car so they may not even check the work they are suppose to... but is that the shops mentality or something he personally has been guilty of. With further contemplation over my experience with this mechanic I am not pleased with his character or his prices and if I wanted to be charges this amount I could get my car fixed at the dealership. I have always been a good customer, try to have my cash upfront and even tip if I can.He comes late and often unprepared. I have never complained. I’m disappointed that the business relationship has to end this way but I would not recommend him to anyone.
