Since my family moved to Greensboro area nine years ago, I have taken all three of my vehicles there for service from annual NC inspection to new tire installations. I have Goodyear tires on all of my vehicles, and over 24 Goodyear tires have been installed. One good reason I favored this Goodyear store on College Road is simply because the Store Manage, Chris Price. He has been always courteous, professional and transparent about what needs to be done and how much the service charge is. Often times he is so busy with numerous customers at the same time, he has tis patience to listen to your questions and offer you the most accurate answers. Just recently, upon his expert recommendations, I have had 4 sets of Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrive tires and 4 sets of Assurance WeatherReady tires installed on two of my vehicles. Chris, thank you for your expertise, professionalism and patience that really impressed me. If anyone wants new tires, remember to call Goodyear store on College Road first to make sure that Chris is there. Very often, the individual manager makes the positive impact in our daily life. Chris, appreciate you for your help and service from day one till now.

Bought 4 new Goodyear DuraTrac tires. Awesome tire!!! Looks good and performs exactly how I would expect it. The technicians were very knowledgeable when installing and balanced the tires perfectly. No vibration at all, even though it is a 10 ply truck tire!!! Chris was awesome to work with when buying and installing the tires.

This place is absolutely horrible. Poor customer service. Be prepared to spend a very long time in the waiting room, while listening to the store manager chit-chatting behind the door. If you happen to own a high-end vehicle, youd be much better off by visiting the dealer instead, even if it costs more. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP.

Went to get my truck inspection today I failed the window tint test. All the cars in the parking lot all had darker tint than mine so I go ask who owns that white truck over there dude says, I do..and that was the inspector...My GF followed me home my tail light was out they didnt even mention the tail light definitely dont go here for the inspection I dont know anything about the car parts but the inspection dude is no good......

Usually really good as long as Chris is there. One of the few places that works on foreign cars. Jen at the front desk will tell you anything. Definitely double check with Chris.

This place is terrible. i ended up waiting 3+ hours for state inspection and alignment. whats the point of making an appointment for first thing in the morning??? the store manager is a joke and the technicians are mediocre at best. theyre constantly chit-chatting while leaving all the customers waiting. absurd....

Absolutely recommend to any and all. Travelling through the area I got a flat tire. I called and got an appointment and with out of state plates was expecting to get taken to the cleaners. I envisioned them trying to sell me new tires, brakes, shocks and the whole 9 yards. To my surprise the staff could not have been better. They promptly fixed the tire and got me on my way in no time. I want to thank them for treating me fairly and not trying take advantage of the situation. Good people !
I love going to this store. My mom goes to this store. Chris, the manager is so very nice and always tells me what is wrong with my car. Sometimes, I even go up there just to say hello. They are awesome. Ive had my car towed there numerous times and Mr. Chris is always patient and tells me what the problem is and its always fixed. I call the guys in the garage, My Goodyear Family! They are the best!!
Jen has a nasty attitude. She acts like she’s doing you a favor and like the customer doesn’t know what they are talking about. She obviously knows nothing about cars and will actually tell you to take your car somewhere else. She needs to be retrained. And when Chris Is not there she is constantly arguing with the mechanics so loud that you can hear it in the lobby. Very unprofessional.
Lord it takes me more than an hour for Jen and the technician get through the inspection process my car. They asked me about get two new tires and wipers. They are really trying to get your money out and they are not honest at all.. they think that they can get over me .. lord.. very hard to do business with this place..
I hate leaving negative reviews but my experience with Jen this morning was terrible. Two days ago on Thursday I called Goodyear and requested a quote on some tires. We discussed shortly and settled on some Goodyear eagles and a price was quoted. I asked for an appointment on Saturday (today) and was told she didn’t have anything until 11 am. I said that will be fine and set the time for 11. As I was getting off the phone I asked the lady her name and she answered Jen. Ok so we have a date, time, employee name and price. Today I showed up and Jen asked how she could help. I gave my name and said I was here for my appointment. She stated she didn’t have anything under my name. I told Jen what she had quoted me for tires and the price. She said she didn’t remember and “I talk to so many people”. I confirmed with her the date, price, time and confirmed her name. At this point I’m disappointed as Jen is acting infallible and there is no chance she could have made a mistake. She kept talking about how busy they are and she didn’t even have these tires in stock (because she failed to order them). In short I left with no tires and no desire to return to Goodyear as well as elevated blood pressure. If she had said well maybe I made a mistake... it would have been cool but she was quite sure this was somehow my fault. That’s not how you retain customers. Goodyear needs to do better.
This is IT! Expert technicians that are customer oriented, accountable, AND accommodating. And Chris coordinates everything as if he has known you for years.

Services are never as described. I got a window motor installed to roll up my window and i was there 6 hours after being told it should take a hour at most. Also just recently I scheduled an appointment online for an oil change, upon arriving i was told they have the ability to push an appointment out 2hrs meaning it wouldve been at 11am instead of the 9am appointment that I scheduled. Its best to take your cars to Firestone they are honest, more efficient, and have excellent customer service !

Needed new tire because of nail in tire and slow leak. Gave me a tire quote and I made appointment to get work done. Returned for installation of new tire. Personnel staff was very informative and excellent service.
I have to laugh at the negative reviews. I was at this location on October 4th. I was not as pleasant of a customer as I would like to have been on that day, yet every individual I was in contact with was exceptionally courteous and friendly. It was really nice to see that excellent service still exists. They held my appointment even though I was 20+ minutes late, went above and beyond with their service and completed all work in about 30 minutes. Thank you to everyone there, awesome place. They deserve an award.

I had a flat and installed the spare and needed the original tire fixed. I passed the Goodyear store and went on down the street to Brand X. Dirty, unprofessional staff, and hour and a half wait time. No thanks. Back to Goodyear and what a difference!!! Clean store, very professional staff, got me right in, and got the tire fixed very quickly. They used a seat and steering wheel cover and floor mat. When I went to pay, they told me Goodyear had a promo and no charge if they could fix the tire. Incredible!!!! I will definitely be back.
Refused to fix my tire. Instead they wanted me to buy a brand new one.

Great place to get tires and servicing. the people are friendly and courteous. But, when making an online appointment, call the store to verify it. Corporate website is not always accurate. My tire purchase was not in the appointment system but I lucked out that my alignment appointment made it in.
I have been doing business with Chris for at least 15 plus years he has always been fair and upfront on prices and services. He always tries to help me out with suggestions and on short notice if he is slammed he will ask if I can leave it and he will work me in ASAP. Again today that happened and within a couple of hours they called me with a solution and a price.This is all that can be asked. Thanks again Chris!

Stopped there today for a valve stem replacement on one of my tires. You know, the little part where you put air into your tire. The guy quoted me 100 bucks! I said youre crazy and I left. Went to Hall Tire on MLK and got it done for $5.00! Yes, $5.00! Can you say RIP OFF? Never again....nope never. I do NOT like being taken advantage of. I hope its not because Im a woman and they just think that we dont know squat about cars...shame on them. We girls are not stupid nor are we helpless!

I would go zero if I could. This place is terrible. John got caught lying at least 3 times about the charge of a diagnostics when we were already quoted on the phone. I work in sales and I told him that but for some reason he tried to mark everything up terribly. I mean the bad thing is I would not have known if I did not work in this kind of arena so avoid here if you do not understand price mark up or you will pay an absorbent cost for maintenance that its unnecessary to spend.

Horrible staff. One guy Robert taking info and working while 2 techs and what appears to be another admin discuss everything from strip clubs to raising chickens while I wait. And yes, these discussions and even watching videos on there phones is right out in the front lobby. Not busy at all but I have already been here over two hours on a call ahead appointment to get tires. I have already witnessed one customer get annoyed and leave when I first arrived and witnessed the only working gentleman bring up an error about the tire sizes with the other admin only to be told not to worry about it, the customer wouldnt notice.
I took my car in because I had an EVAP error for my gas line and caused my CE light to come on. I shopped around for who had the lowest price on a diagnostic check and everybody was priced at $100+ for a diagnostic. Uggggghhhhhh! I called Chris at Goodyear and he was priced at $52.50 for a diagnostic. That alone is worth going over there to at least get your car checked out. Long story short, they got me in an out in about an hour and a half. Not bad at all. My CE light is off and computer is reset, repair is done and there are no more trouble codes on my dash. This is the second time I have taken my car to Goodyear on College Rd (first time for tires and now for the celinoid) both times I experienced great service. #mightbethelastgreatmechanicintown great job guys.

This is what I get for trying to get my oil changed by someone other that #TaylorsTire bc this place happens to be next to my house.Over the phone they said $24.95 for an oil change. Then I get a bill for $34 and some change. I understand the quote didnt involve tax, but when I asked why the price was $10 higher than quoted he said disposing of the filter fee. Ummmm, so then the price shouldnt be quoted as $24.95 right?They just lost my business over a few dollar simply due to not being honest. They even acted very unprofessional about it as well.Business owners, just do you customers right. Smh
Was overcharged for a starter they were more than the dealership. The dealership would of been the better choice. Will never go back there.
Dropped my car off for an oil change and they took 8 hours to get it done. I called mid day to confirm it would be ready and I was told it would be done by 5. Which it was not.. only to say sorry, we are busy.
