Great team of workers. I have been using this place for a very long time. Honest, deliver quality service, prices are affordable, friendly, and very professional at what they do. They explain any issue with you and provide you with alternatives before working on your vehicle. They will even recommend you to another dealer if they do provide the service you need. Almost all the time very busy but will have time for you or better call to make an appointment. Overall, a great place to take your vehicle to for services!!

This was my first time going to GTA and they did not disappoint! My serpentine belt was shredded, I initially thought it was my alternator, so when I called them thats what I had them quote need for. When I had my car towed to their establishment, they deduced it was the belt which saved me over$400.00 then what I was initially thinking I had to pay. Other shops, wouldve probably tried to charge me for the belt and the alternator, (Ive run into some dishonest auto mechanics.) Their prices are fair and customer service is great so Ive decided to make them my regular shop.

They helped me to get tires for my car when I was in a pinch. Awesome set of people that work at this establishment. The gentleman that was at the counter helped me get a nice set of Yokohamas for my car. At a really inexpensive price as well! On top of all of that, they were fast! If I knew this I could have done it sooner because a lunch break would have been too much time!

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! I needed two new tires. I called at least 10 other local tire places for quotes. Greensboro Tire & Auto was the cheapest. I called on a Wednesday afternoon & needed these tires done by 9am Friday because I was headed to the beach. They ordered the tires & told me theyd get me in & out as quickly as possible. I told them I was headed out of town & they went out of their way to make sure I left for my trip on time! When I arrived to get my tires done they told me itd be about an hour & 15 minutes & it ended up only taking like 45-55 minutes. Spencer(I think thats his name... its the owners nephew), Marshall, Tim & everyone else Ive spoken to have been exceptional. I dont know much about cars & tires but they made sure I had a good understanding of everything that was happening. I will never take my car anywhere else. Took my ford ranger to get a new power steering pump and they charged me $800... a new pump costs a little under $100. Plus labor. I was figuring maybe $200 something. They rip people off and don’t know what they’re doing a lot of the time.

Oil change... lost or did not replace oil plug gasket, so oil has been slowly dripping all over my driveway...Had wheels balanced and they put the weights on the outside of my aluminum wheels...Pointed it out to the employee and he acted like whats the big deal

It was the end of the day I came in with a estimate from another company considerably large in Greensboro North Carolina and he was able to cut that price and half find issues and fix it and have it back to me at the end of the day. Very professional and respectful man named Dave. I Came to have the oil pump O-ring changed at the location on W. Market Greensboro. They told me to take my van to their other store the Honda person worked there (Bessemer Ave). I dropped it off they said two weeks. Two weeks went by they called I picked my van up. I have a garage I put my van in the next day I noticed oil on the floor of the garage. I had it check at another car place it was a new leak at a different area. I called and spoke to Tim the owner he told me I had to take it back to his other location because that is where I had it repaired. I had a trip planned to be gone they said they would not get to it right away. I told them that is fine since I would be gone and left it at the Bessemer store. The man there said you know sometimes when one leak is fixed another one will show up. I gave them two other numbers to call if needed and they also had mine. I had a friend check on my van after a week and a half with no word about the van. He went to the place ask to look at my van also to see where it was. The place took the van completely apart the whole engine. It was done with out my knowledge and permitting. I called they said they tried to get a hold of me. They did not and with two other number either on of them was called. After three weeks I still did not have my van. I then spoke to Tim the owner and said my van will be put back together this week. I made sure when I went I had a witness to what was said and done. After picking up my van I had to the next day take it back Tim again said only to the other store of his on Bessemer Ave. My van has had issues since the work was done. I called Wednesday Tim answered I told him I want to have my van looked at he said bring it in. He did not know it was me until I got there. Tim with a witness with me told me he will not even look at the van. I told him when I called you said you would. When a business is not good enough to fix the damage they cause to your vehicle. Others need to know what kind of service will be given. Wires were cut and not just disconnected setting where changed and was not correct for the vehicle I own. The owner would not fix what his works had done to my van. This was today July 9, 2016

MUST READ!: Bought 4 tires one came apart after 300 miles then the second came apart after 3000 miles tires rated at 45000 miles. The first time I took it bk they replaced it brand new no problem. but the second they tried to replace with a no life left used tire. manager lied to my face told me he did not tell the technician to put on a used tire when the tech swore up an down his manager told him to do that. So after argueing they put on a new one. needless to say I did not go there when my third tire went bad at 15000 miles. They are selling factory faulted tires and do not want to take responsibility. Bad business all the way around.

Tim and Mike are great to deal with in the office. Mikey, Bobby, and Jason are three good guys who will take care of your vehicle when it comes to routine maintenance, brake jobs, tire repair, and inspections, and DJ is the one of, if not the best, technician in Greensboro. I dont trust anyone else to work on my vehicles!!!

I had tires delivered to GTA that I purchased from TireRack the reviews was good so thought cant go wrong Well not sure what they were having done for speedy service and excellent service I called the day my Tires was delivered to GTA 7/22/19 to schedule to come next day 7/23/19 I got there about 930 didnt leave til 1230 I had to ask several times if they were about finished I was having tires placed on Rims then they say I need my Tire monitors resealed I went to GTA for mounting / balancing and alignment I LEFT WITH NO ALIGNMENT Id already been there 3 hrs and wasnt waiting NO MORE then to top it they didnt even tell me my car was ready I was getting aggravated got up to go outside and there it sat so needless to say Im not Very Happy and to TOP it my balancing isnt right Ive called VW to get it rightNo need to call them they didnt get right first timeI dont normally do reviews much but this had me furiousI get from them took longer than expected cause seems you have fresh paint on Rims they were power coated a month ago and said the reseal took a Hr WTH

I was in search of a mechanic since the shop i used had closed. After a recommendation and reading the decent reviews from Facebook, Google and Yelp. I chose Greensboro Auto & tire.I contacted them first thing on a Saturday morning (hours of op are 8:30a 12p) Mike was very helpful and friendly. By 9:45a my car arrived by roll back. Mike was clear about not being able to look at my car that day. I was fine with this. Here is where the issues come into play. Monday morning (hours of op 8am-6pm) 9:55a I get a phone call telling me its the fuel pump assembly. Cost $580.00. I arrived at the shop at 10:20a I wanted to see and understand the issue because of the way the fuel pump is in my SNOB (saab). I wanted to make sure I wasnt spending unnecessary dollars. Mike made the comment on the lines of me questioning his mechanics integrity. Thus after I asked about the part cost. He quoted $380.00 with no guarantee of having the part that day. I explained I could get the part “today” for half the cost would that be an option? Another counterpart spoke up and said “you will have to charge them higher labor” We delivered the part to Greensboro Auto & tire at 1:30p at 3:30p we called to follow up on when we could expect to pick up our car. Mike explained it wouldnt be “today” Now its Tuesday. I called at 12:30p to get a status on my car. I was informed it is on the days list and I should have my car back at the end of the day. At 4:40p i called again my car still hadn’t been pulled into the shop to have the repairs done. At 5:05 I received a phone call from Mike who told me how my last mechanic did a shoty job and glued the hard fuel line to the clip and I was now in need of the entire fuel line. My husband went over to take a look at what the issue was. Well I needed an obsolete part called the Fuel Pump Check valve. Again its now 6pm and my car is still not in working order. After many phone calls to Saab, parts stores, salvage yards this part is finding a needle in a haystack. Because again this is an obsolete part. My full write up i to long but its safe to say we wont be back find the full review on their fb page!

Owner Tim Bridges is as honest as they come and lives by the Golden Rule. If you dont know much about cars (especially if you are a woman) and want to go to a place where you wont have to fear being sold something you dont need, then go to Greensboro Tire & Auto.

I used to go to GSO Tire all the time. This review is not to bash or discredit the company or anyone who works there. This is solely based on my most recent experience. Long story short; I dropped my vehicle off for a diagnostic. Later that day GSO Tire and Auto called me with the diagnoses. They quoted my $2,583.00 worth of work which was a manifold replacement ($500) for the part ignition coils ( $600.00!!!!) for those and spark plugs. I said ok cool. I then for to a ford Dealership to get a 2nd diagnostic. Come to find out my vehicle had a vacuum leak and needed a fuel pump. To replace the pcv valve hose TAPED up and is something any master mechanic should check for per the description of problems I was having that I PROVIDED to them before I dropped my truck off. If they were just going to plug it up I could went to Auto Zone and did that for free and got the same results. I ended up replacing the fuel pump and filter myself. My vehicle is now 100% fixed. The moral of the story if GSO 110% COMPLETY MISDIGANOSED MY VEHICLE and where they found and $500 manifold and $600.00 ignition coils for a pack of 6 is beyond me. I almost paid them the $2500.00 for something that would have not even come close to fixing my vehicle. Highway robbery! I went and spoke with GS TIRE and they pretty much pushed it under the rug and really gave no apology nor offered to give my money back for the false diagnoses. Again this not to bash the business nor the employees there. However, this is to share my experience. Always get a second opinion.
