Every now and then Ill run into this location to see if they have disinfecting spray on other cleaning items and while they are usually out of stock I have to say the customer service here is excellent. Im always greeted and thanked for my business. I guess thats why I keep coming back...even if theyre always out of Lysol!

This is the worst store ever the Manager Brittany refused to Sales to me . I was shopping at your store on july 3 . I arrived at the store at 9:44 i got medicine for my wife and some other things. When i got ready to pay the cashier said that I needed to show my ID i told her that my id was in the car and i would be right back to purchase my items . Brittany refused to let me in. When told her before exiting the door to get my wallet tried to go back and by the had locked the door lock.

My favorite local store. Friendly, helpful, adhered to Covid-19 restrictions. Love them!!!!

Visited my local Dollar General after the 4th of July hoping to find some fireworks. I did get lucky but became annoyed when checking out. Upon shopping they had signs up marking their swimming toys and supplies at 50% off. I get to the register to check out and it rang up regular price. I informed the young cashier working about the signs being up. Instead of honoring the discount her manager or acting manager simply says the sale ended yesterday! I responded well you should take your signs down because they are still up. Instead of her responding the way MOST people would by simply saying I am sorry we will take it down or better yet still giving me the discount since the signs were still up SHE DID NOTHING except saying I will take them down when I get a chance! Who responds that way??? That was my first and LAST time visiting that place. Giving them a 1 star is being nice. If I could give negative stars for her attitude she would earn all 5!

Dollar General is my favorite junk store. You can ger the most random stuff. Fluids for your car, holiday decorations, groceries, beer, wine, a cooler, furniture, movies, and make-up. Love it! Garden supplies and clothes.

Love shopping at Dollar General! But sometimes I spend more then I shouldve! 😆

Dollar General in Forest Oaks has the most helpful employees of any Dollar General I have been to. They go out of their way to help you find what you need. I clean houses and need to get supplies often from different stores, this Dollar General is hands down the best...

This store has totally declined. They have very little stock on their shelves. The store is a wreck, very messy.

I truly enjoy shopping here because of the customer service. Even though the lines are long sometimes only do to the continued business that they receive, they still find the time to greet you as you come through the door with a smile. The cashiers are very hospitable and very nice. This is the best Dollar General in Greensboro (buy) far! No 🚫pun intended! 👍Thank you for being a customer focused base store. Corporate needs to take a real look at your cuisine service and give all the a pay increase 4 real!!!!! 😃

Over all it was good. However cashier needs lessons on how to pack bags! You Do Not put light bulbs in with can goods, you Do Not put cookies under heavy coffee cans at milk should be stood up so when customer gets home she does Not have milk leaking all over!.

They need more help in that store line to always long

I bought 3 movies and got charged for 4. Got to end of counter . But Had go back through line of about 15 people to get refund for over charge. I should not have had to do that. Wasted my time. And how many other people that dont look over there receipt, that got over charged. All where friendly, but never should have happened or gone through it.

Worth visiting for the thrift-spender. Everything from cosmetics to greeting cards, office and school supplies, cosmetics, home organisers, kitchenware and snacks, drinks. They carry other seasonal items too. Its a good idea to check the website to see what is available.

This place is a great store, but and thats the biggest word in this sentence. This place needs more employees, more cashiers, and more help. They are very understaffed, which the customer suffers on account of. IF they got that fixed I would give it a five stars!!

In all honesty I thought this would be one of the few places to have anyone who smiles. But my recent experiences here has shown that the quality of the employees really make the Dollar General worth going to.

They are getting much better at paying attention to how long there lines are. Appreciate that alot.

I just purchased two peach yogurts that were 3 days past the expiration date. I did not check if they were bad because the store should be checking the inventory before they put it out and switching out old with new!

Sales they have still trying to get my app to work in the store and out the store 😑😑

Store very clean & well stocked. Cashier was friendly and polite.

This is by far the worse Dollar General. The customer service is horrendous! This young girl stood there and seen my and my mom at her register and instead of ringing up our items she decided to talk to other employees instead! When i was about to walk out thats when she finally decided to help! I will never go back to this location.

The gentleman that was stocking the freeze and the shelf. Was so very helpful and very polite. Great job.

It was clean and not as cluttered as some stores. I was able to find a person to help me look for an item when I needed help. The only disappointment I had was at the checkout counter, the cashier had a family friend at her counter and was entertaining the kids by ringing them up one at a time. By the time the mother got to the counter I thought it was over but then she to took her time as she was sharing family stories with the clerck. I was the 2nd person in line and the person(s) in front of me only had a hand full of items; yet I was waiting for more than 24 minutes to have her even acknowledge I was next.

Employee were very friendly. The store was low in stock on a lot of things but otherwise another good experience at a Dollar General.

Found items needed, but the clerk (realtively new) had computer problems which caused an exit delay. However; he did the next acceptable thing, apologized for the inconvenience. A very good place to shop.

DG usually has everything for quick stops. The only thing they dont carry is produce.

This is my favorite DG... employees always speak and are helpful! Love using the digital coupons also! The only issue Ive ever had here was one employee wouldnt let me use my debit card to purchase a gift card and I contacted DG corporate to ask and was told that I couldve used my debit card but I think employees were informed that it was alright bc I havent had any other problems with purchasing gift cards! I will continue to shop here.
