Really don’t want to give them 1 star. I ordered a gaming desk and the LED lights weren’t working appropriately. Immediately called them once I discovered the problem (1-2 days after delivery). They indicated they couldn’t do anything because the item came from a vendor and they would have to reach out to vendor. Called them a week later and they indicated the vendor has not responded. Asked if I could return the desk and they order a new one. They informed me they couldn’t take the desk back because it came from a vendor. If I recall correctly rooms to go took my money and their name was on the receipt but they are acting as if they had nothing to do with the purchase.Customer service is poor at best!

Paid for a dining set, a livingroom set, and a server from April 2021. My first issue was, the sales rep. Didnt asked about protection plans, but I was charged for it on all. I had to return to get it removed. When I put my order in I was told when I close on my house it will be delivered the following week. I close April, when i called i was told my dinning set will be deliver in June, my dinning set will be July and my server August. My family and I have to be sitting on blanket on the floor to eat and watch Television. PLEASE I WISH DURING THEIR ADD THEY WOULD MENTION THAT IT WILL TAKE UP TO 3 MONTHS FOR DELIVERY.Wish I couldve get a refund.
They will damage your property and not care at all about it. Dont have rooms to go deliver. They were delivering to my neighbor on May 5th and accidentally came up my driveway even though the neighbor had his house number spray painted in neon orange as he was getting multiple deliveries. The truck couldnt make it up a hill on my driveway. Got stuck. Rutted up the gravel down past the base of my drive, tore down part of a bank on the edge of my drive filling in a ditch, then backed on out and left. After 4 phone calls to customer care I have received no call back. I would post all pics of damage but cant post here. Was going to fix it myself until I started working on it and realized how deep the ruts were and how much dirt was moved. My son took a picture of the truck. He was just leaving when he say them stuck.Update: 8/26. Multiple attempts to call and email. Every response says claims department will call in 5 days. They dont.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I ordered a protection plan for my kids couch and they couldnt find my order gave them my reciept and told me that they put information in wrong and that I would have to call customer service general number and when I called them they dont have my information and cant help me. I recently bought a king size bed and the quality was bad and headboard was different color than footboard takes an army to get it fixed and poor customer service.

Waited almost 3 months for my sons bed to be delivered. on the day of delivery, it was supposed to be there between 9am & 1pm. I called customer service at 1pm, after being on hold for 40 mins. I finally got someone who told me that they had called me earlier that day to inform me it would be 3pm to 7pm now. that was a lie. they never called me. I will never go back or recommend them. overpriced anyways
Im very disappointed in Rooms To Go. While the furniture and sales representatives are top notch, the customer service and the delivery service are less than desirable. If you need to buy furniture from Rooms To Go, you will be better off picking it up yourself (my recent furniture delivery arrived two hours after the delivery time frame -- I realize delays occur at times). If you need to purchase pillows, though, or anything that requires communicating with customer service, go elsewhere. My detailed experience on the latter is below.On July 22, 2020, I contacted customer service to place an order for several sofa pillows. Since I did not need the entire living room set, I was told that I needed to go through customer service to make my purchase. On the aforesaid day, I mailed the order form and check to them, per instructions provided to me by customer service.A few days later, I checked my bank account and noticed that they received the check and on July 31, 2020 and cashed it on August 4, 2020. A few weeks after that when I hadnt received my order, I called customer service and waited on the phone for over 40 minutes. No one ever came to the phone. I repeated this process over 10 times up through today (10/10/2020) with the same outcome. No one answered my call. I called Rooms To Go Internet sales for assistance. They told me I had to call customer service. Ill called the actual store and they said the same. Since they have my money, since I do not have the products I ordered, and since its been several months, I opened a dispute with my bank. The situation is currently under investigation.Im in the process of furnishing my entire house and will not make any further purchases from this store.If customer service ever contacts me or if I receive the products I paid for, Ill update this review.

A friend and myself came to the store with the intent of buying a sectional for my home. I was at the store for 45 minutes and my presence was never acknowledged. I sat on the sectional I intended to buy for 15 minutes then walked around the whole store came back to the sectional I wanted and still not even a “can I help you with something.” In fact a store rep brought another couple to the sectional and could only manage to say “excuse me.” Great job Rooms to go! Another lost sale.

I bought a sofa and 2 recliners about 4 years ago the assembly and hardware of this furniture is junk even though the outside looks nice and plush one recliner the back and arm are completely busted and ready for the dump and the sofa arm has broken off. Nothing against the people at the store the furniture is just junk mine was around $1700 so I didnt buy the cheapest I highly recommend some other brand
Never purchase the extended warranty. I have been a customer for years and have purchased quite a bit of furniture there. The sales people always push the extended warranty and tell you how wonderful it is. Well, its great until you have a problem.... Fortega warranty is nothing short of a legal scam. They find a loop hole to decline every claim. I wish I had read the reviews on them before I ever purchased the extended warranty. Rooms to Go should not promote such a shady service. Im sure they make money on it but it certainly is not good for business
My wife and I visited the store today to gather info on a possible purchase and we were greeted and assisted by Shay. She was very pleasant, patient, helpful during our visit. Above and beyond, she seemed genuinely concerned about the details of our potential purchase. Therefore, we placed our order with her. Great Job! A pleasant difference from many other retail experiences.
Ordering and in-store experience was great... BUT delivery turned the experience into somewhat of a nightmare. Our bed was delivered with the wrong footboard. The delivery man, unable to put the bed together, left without much explanation – the unassembled pieces left in piles all over the room. Costumer Service is saying that the right footboard will not arrive for 4-weeks!Update: After contacting Customer Service multiple times, they were able to move up our delivery date. We only have to sleep on the floor for one week now, instead of four! Not great, but much better.
I recently made a purchase at Rooms To Go Kids and I can say I have never in my life experienced such over-the-top customer service. I called and spoke with JoAnn and she was truly amazing. I was purchasing twin bed mattresses and was clueless. She answered my millions of questions and helped me decide which would be the choice. Having been a Rooms To Customer for years, I already had an established account. When I arrived at the store later that evening, she was there to greet me and immediately took me around and showed me all the available mattresses and the one I selected. I did end up with another selection, which I was quite happy with. One of the stipulations to my purchase was I needed a This Saturday delivery; she made that happen. She was very professional, listened to all of my needs and delivered 100%. I will continue to be a Rooms To Go customer. Thank you JoAnn for all you do to make your customers feel like family. I hope Rooms To Go knows how lucky they are to have an employee as dedicated as you are.

To start off Rooms To Go will send you a text telling you what your delivery time frame will be about two days before your delivery date. Don’t believe that time frame because they will change it like they did ours and set it for a time late in the evening which ruins your whole day and plans. Then if you do like we did and get a bed that has two different types of bed rails more than likely you will get the wrong ones just like we did and now I have to see the disappointment in my daughters face because of Room To Go’s warehouse workers can’t read and get the correct parts that you need. Also when my product arrived I asked the man how come my order got pushed back to a later time and he told me that they were asked if they could run another order and he told me that if they had said no that we wouldn’t have even gotten it on the day we were supposed too. Does that sound like good business?? The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because at least the dresser and mirror were correct. Terrible service!!!!
My family and I visited your store tonight!The customer service was the WORST EVER!We were there around 6:30pm. There was only 1 other family in the store when we arrived.One lady was nice to greet us... then we walked towards the bunk beds and I asked her one question about the “Veteran’s day sale specials” she said she was going to find out (employees should know the current specials if any).She was gone for a few minutes then she came back with an answer (only 3 bunk beds were on sale).Then I asked her a second question (why is the price different here than the one in your app?) she said: “okay, let me ask my manager and I’ll be right back” She went towards the middle of the store and she was talking with someone (a male). We waiting patiently for about 15 minutes... They both kept talking and ignoring us... 20 minutes later we started walking towards the door!They both saw us and still didn’t said a word (not even bye) when we walked right in front of them to leave!!!!What a waste of our time!!!! 30 minute drive to this store, 30 minutes inside the store to get ZERO help and ZERO answers, then another 30 minutes back home! WORST WORST THE WORST EXPERIENCE! You just ruined our so anticipated furniture shopping day with the kids!So rude!The person clearly said:“I’m going to get my manager to find out and I’ll be right back” SHE NEVER CAME BACK!20 minutes later WE WALKED OUT!Employees saw us and no one even bother to say bye or a word to us!

My husband and I left another furniture store in search of a recliner. We were greeted at Rooms to Go by Mia as soon as we walked in the door. Mia asked what we were looking for and when I asked her if they had any recliners with a solid base that doesnt rock, she told us that they were all over the store but didnt ask anything more specific to see if she could be more helpful. She said she would give us a few minutes to look around and then she would see if we had any questions. Mia was MIA for the remainder of our visit and missed out on a possible sale because she never followed back up with us as she said she would. It was our intent to purchase a recliner while we were there. Another sales person offered to help but we thought we already had Mias help so we declined the offer. As a result, Mia missed a sale, but another store in the area thats well known for having recliners didnt mind.

I dont really want to put 1 star. We recently purchased a house and used several other retailers for our furniture purchases but I will tell you one that we will never use again. That is Rooms to go. We waited almost a month for them to deliver because they were waiting on something to come into stock. When our delivery date arrived I had someone at my house from 12 to 4, the delivery date we were given. I arrived home at 4:30 and nothing had been delivered yet. I called around 5, good thing because customer service closes early. I was told they had not heard from the driver in awhile he had not checked in. They were trying to get in touch with him and the would call me back to let me know when the delivery would be here. I never heard back from Customer Service so I called again before they closed. I spoke with them and I was informed they would be here between 6pm to 10pm. I informed them I had to be at work at 6 am and they said they were sorry. I told the young lady if I had been called back like I was told I would be by Customer Service. I would have rescheduled. I ask to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for around 25 minutes. I hung up and then they called my husband and said they would take half of the delivery fee off. Really half, they got to my house around 830 pm and left around 945 pm after I was told between 12 to 4. I was sent reminders the day before and that day. The next problem I had while putting a dresser and a day bed in my bedroom. They messed up my drywall and paint. I did not find out until I went and moved the dresser to another location. They delivered it on Dec. 18 and I didnt move the dresser until after Christmas and thats when I found it. We went into the store and spoke with the manager and showed them a picture. They filed a claim and we never heard from them. My husband called about a week ago to find out what was going on and we were told they denied the claim because we only have 72 hours to file a claim. We still wouldnt know if we didnt relocate the dresser. And again they never called us to let us know the out come. We had to call them. I am a customer service manager and I do know to retain customers you have to have customer service skills to retain customers and keep customers which for me Rooms to go does not have. I will never buy anything from Rooms to go again and I have told everyone about my experience and will continue to do so. That is also why I posted this because I want everyone to be aware of what can happen.

Believe me when I say that 1 star is too many stars for Rooms to Go Kids. They have inferior customer service, inferior delivery guys and inferior furniture. My daughter purchased 2 loft/bunk beds for almost $3,000. She has called customer service 4-5 times and I have tried to help her and called customer service myself a few times for her. It has taken weeks and we still have a damaged bed and NO customer satisfaction!!! Buyer Beware! DO NOT BUY FROM ROOMS TO GO! Im going to the Better Business Bureau to report them now!

Everything was discontinued or out of stock so there was little to none to choose from, then when I finally found something it arrived at my house without all of the parts. So I had to get a refund because I was over it at that point. The bed looked nothing like what I expected and surly wasn’t worth $900!
I love how theres plenty of choices to choose from, but I dont like how you have to go to two different places for furniture. It should all be a one stop shop.
Want to give kudos where kudos are due. We walked into Rooms to Go on a Friday afternoon after having had a terrible experience with Mattress Warehouse. We explained we were short on time as we were on our lunch hour. Lisa Sholar was our Sales Associate and she quickly showed us several different mattresses in our price range and in the firmness we were looking for. AND, she was able to have the bed delivered the NEXT DAY! The delivery went off without a hitch, the delivery guys were excellent, extremely polite, set up the bed, showed us how to use the remote for the adjustable base and cleaned up all the packing materials before leaving.Thank you Rooms to Go for a wonderful experience AND now a great nights sleep!!! And thank you Lisa for being so wonderful to us!
I bought a room from them month and half ago and every thing came to me brook I had a disk four leg it is not stable and the hutch for the disk and the chair brook and when I called them on the phone no one professional and when I ask for returning and I got my money back that said no so I have to stuck for this room I been 1,5 month my daughter can’t tatch her room how this bad and I keep waiting for replacement. Every time they send replacement the piece broke tooPlease be curious when you buy anything from them.And I have a lot of pic if someone need approve
As stated in the other reviews, customer service is horrible. We walked in around 8:15, the store was not due to close until 9. The staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. We were looking very seriously at a bookshelf bed set for our son and a sales person finally approached after several minutes in an empty store with no customer outside of us. We inquired about pricing, the prices are significantly higher than that of nearby competitors, therefore we asked if there was any sort of public service discount at which that point the lady assisting us laughed in our face and said no as if we were ridiculous for even asking. Your competition, Ashley Furniture, graciously offered some compensation for Military/Public Service as well as being extremely helpful and kind, even offering to stay after closing time to assist as well as offering to walk us to our vehicles given the time and our son being with us! Please don’t ask for further details, Rooms to Go will never earn our business from this point forward.

Its raley that I write reviews, but this extremely needed. Made a purchase this month of April 2017 for my family new apartment. Seen a sectional that I like paid for it on spot. Paid for sofa protection n EXPRESS SHIPPING. Give me 7am-10pm delivery window. Waited at home ALL DAY, didnt receive a call and seat on balcony never seen a truck . Call CS at least 10 n even the store and all I got was in route. They lied and said we come and call. Never been so disgusted with a purchase n CS. Like another person said if I can give Zero stars I would. Got my money back because they knew they mess up bad. Never again.
Horrible customer service, never gave me a delivery window. When i called they told me the furniture is on route and gave me a delivery window 2 hours out. I asked if they will call me before getting to my home so I can get back at the time of delivery, and the rude customer service person said it is not guaranteed. The rudeness and willingness to make it as hard as possible for you of this CS person is 10 on a scale of 10. I would give a zero star if I could. One star is like giving them a trophy. They should shut down the store.
Called on a Monday to postpone my delivery set for Thursday. The response was No since my order was already loaded on the truck and it would be delivered this Thursday between 12-4pm. Ok, no problem so I put in for 1/2 a day vacation. Wednesday afternoon, less than 24hr from delivery, I get a phone call saying only part of the bunk bed was on the truck and the rest wouldnt be delivered for 3 more weeks. After talking to customer service I find out these pieces are on back order and her computer showed negative 3 in inventory. How is this possible when I bought the furniture 2 months prior and why was this not told to me on Monday when I called to change my delivery date? Now my son is sleeping on the floor for 3 weeks bacause he only has 1/2 of a bunk bed and I have to waiste another vacation day to meet the delivery people a 2nd time.
This has by far been the worst experience EVER ... they do not care about there customers .... I would never buy from them again . I bought a bedroom suit took a month to get, the rails had to come not to size took 3 times to get the right one an all day waiting because they cant get a scheduled time frame or let u know before they are coming . Then on top of all that the headboard didnt match the dresser or wasnt what I picked in display. The Chester drawers would not stay shut there was a chip that they just covered up with paint an the night stand was damaged as well they sent someone out to check he seen nothing wrong with the head boarded ( LOL)it looked nothing like what I purchased an then left the drawer laying in the floor unassembled an never called to tell when he was coming to fix I had to call customer service so they were suppose to bring out new SET which would take 3 week for head board an night stand an a month in Chester drawer so. .. now I get up today to wait on the to come in there 5 hr time frame to find they are not coming because there was an emergency for the driver of delivery so customer service said but we had a voicemail that said it was scheduled on the wrong route driver so someone is lying an considering all the problems we have had we would have to wait another 10 days to get an take time off work to wait a day for there time frame window of 6 hours an then turn around an do again 2 weeks later for Chester drawer !!!! An Im paying on a product I havent received in quality I ordered for 3 months now an it is still not right . There customer service people that you call know nothing an are so RUDE like beyond RUDE ... THEY REALLY SHOULD SHUT DOWN AN MAYBE THEY WILL WITH THE WAY THEY RUN THINGS . THIS WHOLE EXPERINCE WITH THEM HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE . I will never do business there again I have good mind to tell them to come pickup this an refund me an go to Ashley Furniture where at least they care about the customer the one that is helping keep them in business. 6 week delay from the order date until delivery of a sofaadditional 4 week delay for delivery of ottomanduring the middle of my 4 hour window I was contacted that the truck was loaded backwards so that I would be the last delivery of the day rather than the first so my 4 hour time window was moved back 9 hours.there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenienceno apologyno nothingwill never shop here again
