Poor customer service and very poor quality food . Everything was expired and the ice cream was expired … The health department needs to go there IMMEDIATELY ‼️‼️‼️‼️Also the prices are entirely toooooo high for the quality of ice cream… For a really runny shake cost almost $8… Save yourself and your health
Wasn’t able to take a picture but I ordered the mangoneada and honestly coming from someone who has worked at a “La Michoacana” from CA I had high standards the mangoneada was not it :(
So I came in hoping to try all these wonderful things they had reviews on that people were talking about. I asked for at least 4 things on the menu. They didnt have them because they only do them on the weekends. I was pretty disappointed but finally settled on one last treat. It was good so Ill give it a 3 star.
Super clean! And great!!The fruit is extra fresh and good
Great service...great ice cream...CUTEST SHOP EVERRRR...great prices. Even iced coffee drinks and frappes. :-)
Absolutely delicious. A hidden jem for sure. We are immediately fans of this place.
Great ice cream and antojitos.Dont always have everything later in the day.Must go to place for your cravings.
It’s a good place not gonna lie but I was a considered because the people who were attending me didn’t even have MASK!! Please put on a mask but other than that food is good
Friendly. Quick. Delicious.
Our ice cream was good, but my mangoñada was terrible. It was more like water and ice.
Pretty nice place. Friendly staff and the ice-cream is good. The Diablitos are very salty though. I will definitely order something else next time.
My wife loves it
Gringos welcome! Went at 3:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday and the place was pretty much dead. Only a couple other customers came through as the lady behind the counter patiently waited for my husband and I to read (and Google) their huge variety of curious flavors of both paletas and cremas and sorbet-type frozen desserts. I ended up getting 6 popsicles for a friends birthday (two mango, kiwi, strawberry yogurt, chocolate, Oreo,) plus I got coffee almond ice cream (delicious) and my husband got the Blackberry Queso ice cream, which he said was very good. We would definitely recommend this place whether tu Hablas Espanol or not 😉
Delicious !! Definitely a place to try out. Second time going and not disappointed, its our new place to go for ice cream. Clean and friendly service.
40 minutes after ordering to get 1 scoop of ice cream and a popsicle (which was freezer burnt). 4 workers just standing doing little to nothing. Asked why it took so long and was just shrugged at despite only 5 customers (about 10 items) being served during that entire time.Posted this before but apparently it was deleted (2 weeks ago), so dont trust the rating.
This is my wifes new favorite dessert date. So good. They have popsicles, ice creams, and a bunch of other options all made in house. Service is nice and patient, willing to explain and give out samples. Atmosphere is fun and clean. I love their ice creams so much. Their popsicles are so refreshing. Super authentic Mexican frozen dessert experience. Check it out!
This place is absolutely amazing. It is such a gem! I was amazed by the variety of flavors and combinations of cold treats you can get. It is a Hispanic ice cream shop, so a lot of the treats involve tropical flavors and fruit. It is cash only, but definitely worth it. All the workers speak mostly Spanish, but they know enough English to help you navigate. If you get confused, just ask for a Menu to see the visuals (It helps). If you speak Spanish you will be fine.
Homemade fruit sorbets and ice cream! This place has a lot of creativity and flavors that makes it unique and very good!
Great icecream nice people
Ive never seen so many flavors of ice cream! You will be blown away with the many kinds of homemade ice cream pops they have. The banana split looks crazy good!!!
Their mangonada is so good and be sure to try some of the countless flavors of fresh fruit Popsicles. Owner is very nice!
INCREDIBLE. Some of the best ice cream Ive had since moving to NC. Possibly THE best. Plus theyre such a nice, friendly family. Well worth trying.
Absolutely wonderful ice cream! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will visit here again!
A ridiculous selection of frozen treats, made with fresh fruit, fruit juices and rich creamy dairy. Prices are reasonable and the quality and value are nigh unbeatable. The area seems a little questionable, but yeah, the ice cream is delicious.
Delicious
Hidden treasure unlocked. To all of the Yelpers before me who led me here, I thank you. How this place didn’t have a line out the door is beyond me. This brightly decorated, cheerful ice cream joint made our afternoon. I had Kalua and my daughter had Hard candy ice cream with plantain sprinkles. I also had a smart water. Between us, we tallied up to about $8. Yes, hallelujah, mama’s frugal heart sang. The beautiful wall menu boasts coctel de frutas, gaspacho, licuados, fresas con crema, malteadas, raspados, esquimales and so much more. The friendly owner lets you sample ice cream first. They also sell chips, fountain drinks and bottled drinks. This place is a hidden gem. The only and I do mean ONLY con is that it isn’t visible from the road. We’ll be back. And I highly recommend everybody tries it.
Good
The best fruit bars & ice cream available locally. They even have soursop for all the cancer patients!
Awesome icecream but a little pricey
Best, Best, Best Ice Cream!!!
I really enjoyed everything i bought, however, half of the things on the menu i was told they did not have available... Other than that i thoroughly enjoyed it.
Good family place for ice cream and snacks.
Large selections to choose from - staff very helpful & friendly.
The best coconut popsicle! I cant find the right words to describe it, you just have to try one.
A plethora of flavors all made fresh on site. This place rules.
So many choices, but staff is helpful.
Ice cream is to the Mexican state of Michoacan what beer and cheese are to Wisconsin, and this Greensboro dessert shop, owned by a pair of New York-bred brothers and their family, proudly honor that tradition. La Deliciosa starts with a high-quality ice cream recipe (14 percent milkfat), adds hand-chopped fresh fruits, and offers more than a dozen inspired flavors. Want rum raisin with real rum? You’ll find it here, just as you will blackberry, tres leches, tequila, mango, guava, and more. Ice creams are available in cups or cone bowls though if you prefer your dessert in stick form, there are plenty of paletas (popsicles) as well. There are even mangonadas (a mango/lime/chili drink), a somewhat scarce treat in Greensboro. After much deliberation and the begrudging realization that we couldn’t have every flavor at once, my wife and I opted for a small coconut/rum raisin combo and a small strawberries and cream, respectively. The strawberries and cream was rich but not heavy with fresh-tasting berries and hints of white chocolate. The rum raisin puts any commercial equivalent to shame. Without hyperbole, this is some of the best ice cream you are likely to have anywhere.Given the quality and the fact that everything is homemade, the pricing (just north of $3 for a small cup) is hard to argue with. It also helps that the friendly and accommodating staff will be glad to answer your questions, indulge your display-case gawking, and let you sample (within reason) flavor after flavor. As of this writing, La Deliciosa offers only desserts. However, the restaurant just hosted an Ethnosh as a trial run for some lunch/dinner offerings. A Dominican-style roasted chicken was magically juicy and flavorful, black beans and rice were cooked to perfection, tostones were wonderfully crisp, and a trio of accompanying sauces paired nicely with everything. When this place gets its kitchen up and running, watch out.If there is one drawback to La Deliciosa, it is that it is not easy to locate unless you are really looking for it (the space’s previous tenant, Los Gordos, shared the same problem). However, if you can navigate your way to the middle of the surrounding shopping center, absolutely phenomenal ice cream awaits.
