Called for MUFFLER work. Told they only do inspections then asked another question and he hung up. Extremely confused

Malcolm does a good job at a fair price. Hes really busy, but thats the mark of a skilled mechanic. Be prepared to wait a bit to get your car back, but when its done, Malcolm does it right at a solid price. Recommend

THIS SHOP IS HORRIBLE !!!!!! MALCOM IS HORRIBLE !!!! HIS “SHOP” IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! He is very slow and literally does not value the customers money and time! I highly do no not recommend going to this “shop” getting any work performed on your vehicle!!!

If I could leave 0 starts I would. Very rude service. Owner was rude on the phone as well as in person. I went to get my car inspected and He told me “I can’t do nothing with this”. I asked why and he said “you know why”. It is a run down creepy place. Please do not go here. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or not. However, that is no excuse to be rude or unprofessional.

Had to wait a little. Diagnosed my issue quickly after got car on lift. Definitely worth it. My car sounded like a truck when I came in and like a kitten when I left. Amazing work and worth the wait. The price was substantially less than st a dealer.

I adore Malcolms work. He is my mechanic and any issue I have he will fix, also at a decent rate. He is firm because he about business not small talk. I have recommended his service to family and friends and we all agree he is a master of his craft and I will refer EVERYONE to try him out! You cant beat his prices and his quality is unmatched.Dont come with the intention to rush the work to be done. His shop is ALWAYS busy but he gets it done.

I recently went to this shop to get my car inspected and the man there is VERY DISRESPECTFUL! He would not do the inspection and never told me the reason why just said and I quote “I can’t do nothing with this. Good day.” Then I was told to leave and he walked away. He is not professional at all and the shop is disgusting. I would never recommend anyone to get services done there.

Went there to have my fuel pump put on, fuel gauge never worked again fuel pump went out . After 2 months. Malcolm told me he was coming to fix it, took him 3 days and a bunch of excuses why he didnt. When he did he,look at it said he was coming back he had to go get some tools and didnt. No call no show. I would rather go somewhere where I know Im gonna have my car FIXED and not have to worry about the same problem. Now I have to repay someone to fix my car🤬🤬😡

Real friendly place that lets you into the fixing of your car. They seem to always be backed up but when theyre ready theyll let you know.

Have never had a problem with any repairs done at this shop. I have had two vans, a Tahoe, LS 400 and several other cars fix at Discount Muffler and always get a reasonable price. The wait is something different, thats the only reason I did rate 5 stars. But the work has always been good and the owner makes sure your satisfied.

Ive been here a few times, Mac does take a while to repair sometimes, probably bc of lack of workers. He is really good though he makes sure your car is in excellent condition before you leave. He is a reasonable mechanic helping where he can.

My first experience was great, the lady was very nice over the phone and in person . The second time I called the guy was hella rude, attitude and all and even hung up on me . So no I won’t be going back because of this guy .

Had to take my car back three times just for rear shocks and not done rite so now have to go and have it fixed rite. Do not go there to much talking and not paying attention to what they are doing.

Went in to have my Catalytic Converter changed on my 04 Cadillac Cts and found out that I didnt need one. He fixed what other shops told me I have no choice but to replace it. I will recommend everyone that needs any work done on your car to go here. He is not trying to get over on people like other shops. He lets you know exactly what needs to be done.

This was one of my favorite mechanic until last month. We brought our benz here. Brakes were placed on properly. Now when it came down to my 2015 nissian altima I ended up having more problems than enough. We told them our car was making a noise in the front when we drove and slowly stopped. They assume the wrong type of brakes were used but that didnt slove one problem. It was not malcom who did my brakes. But the person who place on my new one failed to do them correctly. Which ended up grinding my brand new brake pads into my rotors. I wish they would pay me back twice for wasting my time and causing more damage. I will not be returning with no vechile. Use at your own risk.

I have to give one star to leave a review but they dont even deserve that. Trashy shop behind a run down house, OSHA would have a great time with this place. Malcom apparently the owner told me to be there at 3:00 to get a muffler put on my truck, I arrived at 3 and I sat in my truck until 4:30 and had to go remind him i was there. He then had a girl pull my truck in the shop, she hit my expensive rim on a battery charger, pulled the front tires onto the lift and then they jacked the rear up under the differential and slid the rear end around to get it onto the lift and it did not fit. So then he told me he would have a car off of the other lift in 10 minutes and get my truck on. I left my truck and told him to give me a call when it was ready. I never received a call, so 2 hours later I called him asking a time frame for it to be done. He told me it wouldnt fit on the lift so he could take it to another shop on Market Street. Im obviously not gonna let him take it there, it would probably end up in a chop shop and come back to me a bare frame. Maybe my truck could fit on the lift if the shop was clean and up to standards and maybe the place shouldnt have such a black environment because I was the only white person there and black people had their cars pulled into the shop before me when I was there first. I do not reccommend this place at all. The workers are idiots and have no business going anywhere near a vehicle.

He does not rip you off like other shops do he put a engine in my tahoe about 3 years ago for a good price that no one could beat very happy with the work no problems with the engine since then.

I asked for an estimate. He rattled off numbers really quick and then hung up on me. Obviously not interested in my business.

It was awful. I was recommended by my boyfriend, his roommate and someone working at OReillys to do any type of auto repair work. Yes you would save money, I GUESS but you still be going back with other problems he could have stated from the first time. I had to get a tune up two months ago. He charged me $80. Ok that was fair for me to get home and my car wouldnt crank. Also Ive noticed leaving the lot my service engine light was still on and now anti lock brake light on. So I called the owner, he came to me to spray something on the wiring. Took the car back to the shop to find out I need a radiator because it another mechanic (not from that shop) put a stop leak in it months before that clogged it. So he called himself overriding the fan near the radiator. Ive also noticed he was procrastinating on other peoples cars too. Taking his time, working on two or three cars at one time. It took him 3 more hours on top of 6 more hours to do a tune up on my car. I know a tune up only take an hour and half. I drove the car home and parked it for a good month. When I just got the radiator fixed, my low coolant light came on. He told me I need to tap the coolant container a few times and it will go off. But I took my car to Precision Tune for an oil change for them to tell me the mechanic from this shop left some plugs unloosed. Now my car wont crank. Im not going back to that rinky dinky shop again. I rather stick to people I know. If I pay more so be it. At least my car would be running longer than 4 days.
