Ive used oxygen and supplies for 8 months now with Palmetto providing what I need. I lost power because of a storm last weekend and used my emergency tank. I called Monday for a refill delivery and he told me I had to transport this large tank in my car to them and they would replace it. I explained that I couldnt pick it up and put in my car so what should I do. He told me to find a shelter to stay in if I lose electricity again. I could hardly believe he said it but he did so Im finding another provider. no stars deserved. They had no problem delivering the equipment to begin with.....but not any longer.
Only reason I am giving a 1 is because there is nothing lower. Been dealing with this company for almost a month and have yet to even get set up in their system to be able order supplies.
I got numerous aggravating robo calls to renew supplies. I finally gave in and ordered online. Several days later, the post office is still waiting to receive my order to ship. Terrible customer service.
I called for supplies and I was contacted the same day to be sure all my information was correct. The lady I spoke to was very nice. My supplies are on the way which is great.
I would never work with this company. Customers are their lowest priority. No doubt they will disappear or be bought out. And I thought cable companies were the worst. Truly a terrible place to deal with. Find someone else!
First time in the Elm Street location. Greeted upon coming in the door. Frank game me detailed information on the product I sought. He was even gracious enough to give me directions to my next destination. Thank you, Frank. Excellent service.
My Aunt is 90 and broke her hip. She has had PT, OT, Speech Therapy and a Home Aide come to help her bathe. Every single person we have worked with has been polite, professional, caring and extremely understanding of our situation. I would highly recommend Advanced for your Home Health needs.
Lousy Customer Service. Made several calls to local store in Greensboro, NC, with questions. Never got a return call. Stopped by store to ask question which was inconvenient for me as the store closes at 5:00pm. Luckily, the product I was calling about was in stock. A few days later, I called to request information on another product.....4 phone calls in two days and no return phone call, even after I mentioned that my mother had fallen, hit her head, and spent more than six hours in an emergency room. Frustrated, I also called the national office and after 7 minutes of being on hold, got transferred to a customer service rep. who put me on hold again to find the appropriate person for me to speak to. After holding for a total of 10 minutes, I was routed back to the options menu and told that if I didnt punch in my partys extension Id be disconnected. I hung up in frustration and disgust. Find another place to do your business...NOT recommended.
Very helpful staff. Very helpful with my questions and equipment needs. Great customer service. Frank and Amber are very knowledgable. They are never too busy to help.
Excellent experience. Staff was very patient with my questions and concerns and helped me pick the perfect product. Snaps to Amber!
I had foot surgery. This company was great at getting me a scooter to rent at a fair price. They were courteous and helpful. No concerns at all. I have to rent another scooter and I will return.
Since Advance Home Care has a monopoly on CPAP supplies in this area, Ive had to go to them for about 10 years now. With one exception, I have never received friendly, helpful, or welcoming customer service (yes, I would have been happy with any of the 3). Today was no exception. I called them yesterday during business hours to schedule an appointment for a CPAP mask fitting. After being placed on hold by their automated answering system for about 10 minutes, the system kicked automatically into voice mail. I requested a return call, left my number and repeated it. I did not receive a return call, so today decided to drive to their store to at least see what kind of masks they carried. There was no one behind the counter when I entered the store. After 3 or 4 minutes, a man came out of a small office next to the merchandise area. I told him that I wanted to look at CPAP masks and he said I couldnt do that because I needed to call to schedule a fitting appointment. I explained that Id tried, without success, to do that, but that no one answered the phone when I called and no one returned my call. He said he was sorry but thats what I needed to do. He wrote down the 800 number Id called the previous day and an extension (which was not mentioned in the automated message when calling the number). I told him I probably would just take my chances and order a mask from an online CPAP supply company. It should be noted that the man who waited on me was not doing anything else at the time, other than sitting in his office, looking at the computer. This place is simply frustrating to deal with and definitely needs better management and customer service. Its very clear to me why the average of their reviews is only 2.6 (I try to to frequent places whose average is less than 4).
The customer service is poor with this company. I went to pick up my new cpap machine and the technician had the settings wrong. Took 3 times for them to give me a cpap machine that worked right
Just want to give out a special thank you to Dionte that work at the Elm street retail store. She have very very good patients doing what she does. On 9/25 I went in there and she was working by her self and she had about 4 other patients ahead of me. Some was very rude to her, Some kept asking how much longer will u be, I have to go. They was just rude and the whole time I was in there that young lady kept calm kept her cool kept a smile on her face and never did she let any of that get to her. To me she had them in an out. All I want to say is Dionte you ROCK girl please keep up your great work. I will love to have her work for me any day very nice women. So when y’all go to Advance home care ask for Dionte she is a very nice women. Thank you all Sam Hampton
I have NEVER have a transaction with this company that isnt either screwed up or required multiple conversations to resolve. If my mother wasnt locked into them do to Medicare billing I would go elsewhere. She had the same company when she lived in Tennessee and had no problems at all. I dont know why they cant get their act together in North Carolina.
Went to pick up a wheelchair for a friend. She was told by another entity it would be ready by 2pm for pickup at AHC. It wasnt. It was another agencys fault. Gentleman at front kept looking for the prescription. He finally got a hold of someone in the main office, they had just received it in the past hour, not Friday as was lead to believe by other agency. I found the staff friendly, helpful and persistent in resolving this situation.
I received my Cpap machine from them. The class was very well instructed. It appeared that they were off to a great start. The product itself was state of the art. The service was deplorable. Within their rules you are allowed to change out your mask once within 30 days at no cost. Considering you are fitted within 10 min and you are sitting up, it does not always fit properly in a sleeping position. Mine was a problem the first night. It would start vibrating on my face. My husband worked with me to secure it better. That didnt work. The next day, I called into the office to ask what to do. 2 days later, my phone called was returned. My husband and I readjusted as instructed, yet the problem continued. Obviously, I needed to swap out my mask. I called to make an appointment. Two days later, I called back. Four days later, I called back. The earliest appointment they could give me was 17 days out. In the meantime, I cant use it. But it was the absolute rude and totally offensive attitude that made me decide to just return it to them. I am now out of pocket over $500.00 and never even got to use it 4 hours. Explore every other option. The service that is implied is not what you will ever see again.
Absolute worst company that I have ever done business with. Incompetent and rude pretty much sums it up. They survey me repeatedly because they claim, At Advanced Home Care, home care is our business. CARING is our specialty. I have completed several of these surveys to show my dissatisfaction, included my phone number for someone to call me and no one has ever called me. If you can purchase the products that they sell anywhere else you should do that.
So far my experience has been mostly positive except for my initial visit for instructions and equipment pickup. During that visit I was subjected to what I considered blatant racism by Andy. When I requested to come in regarding a possible change in equipment, I requested someone else and met with Paula who was very helpful. Today I spoke with Kaley to order supplies. I am a recent client and had trouble understanding the ordering guidelines. She explained everything to me. In doing so she was very patient and professional. Kudos to Kaley for her excellent customer service!
I go here for my CPAP machine and related supplies and have had nothing but excellent service from Andy, Kayla, and the rest of the staff. I also bought a CPAP pillow from here and I love it. This place has items that you would have never known existed but are extremely useful.
I dont usually take the time to leave reviews but I noticed most people have had a bad experience here but my experience was very positive. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and were very helpful.
Elm street location has service problems, expect a wait. It took 3 weeks, multiple phone calls and two visits before a got the over the counter item I needed. Two people got tired of waiting for service and left while I was there one day. The staff are not good at returning phone calls.
Paid $1200 for a lift chair that the cord is split. Its proably dangerous to use. Called for over two months. No resolution!
This is the worse place I will not recommended this place to nobody. They will take u as patient right out hospital but then they will discharge you, and if u want to come back they said we cant take you as a patient because we are low on staff. Last thing is this company will over charge everything they sale. I needed a low loc air mattress to rent for a month is $500 dollars, to buy one is over $5,000 dollars. I checked online you can get one for $500 dollars to own not rent, and a employee named Jason laughed, and keep laughing thats not good customer service. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OVER PRICED ITEMS! No wonder why no nurse wants to work for them they are greedy, and unorganized not professional at all.
Staff were unprofessional and rude. Sheila scoffed and became argumentative when I asked questions regarding the ONLY cpap machine they had to offer.
The staff was unhelpful an very rude
Poor service.....
