Outstanding service and great people. Bradley just replaced the windshield in my wifes 2020 Honda Passport and calibrated the safety systems. Everything was perfect and sparkling clean. My wife couldnt say enough good things about the service. A++
I was in Greenville from out of state taking care of a sick family member when my driver side window came off of its track. I needed to be on the road early the next morning to head home. It was a Friday of a holiday weekend. They not only fit me in but were also very pleasant, professional and efficient!
While they had an issue with parts (missing a molding for my truck) and I had to come back a second time (hour drive 1 way), they made up for it with professionalism and friendliness.
The service at Safelite was consistent with the information shared, the willingness to get the work done in an efficient manner, and to provide customer service that really spoke of the culture of the company. I appreciated the quality of work completed. Safelite will be the company that I call and refer for vehicle glass replacement.
Right from the get go my tech was not friendly. Told me i had to remove my light bar, which i figured so i did. Then he tells me when installing my windshield that i had to pull my light bar brackets so the windshield would clear, AFTER alrealy placing the glue. Told me then that the windshield was going to leak and that he couldnt get my cawl panel pack because of the windshield. Not only is my cawl panel not installed properly but neither is my windshield. The tech pushed my cawl panel down and drilled a hole for the hold down screw to go! Theres a mess in my cab that looks like headliner and some glass. Why was this not cleaned up?! Rude and extremely unprofessional! Highly NOT recommended!
Very good service here. Had an 8am appointment, they got my vehicle in, changed the windshield just as I wished and back. Can’t tell anything has ever been done. Scheduling and the whole experience was great.
I really wish I could give my experience a better rating. Pros: Friendly Admin, Quick Service (less than 4 hours), free snacks in the waiting room. Cons: My Lane Departure/Safety Camera required recalibration and the Admin told me they tried but it would not calibrate (the tech did not leave this note on the receipt). This is disappointing considering the price ($500) I paid to get it replaced and the fact that the first tech came out to repair a small chip and cracked it even more causing the need for replacement in the first place. I get that it happens occasionally, so I truly do understand. This experience just left a bad taste in my mouth with them not giving me any options for the recalibration and not discounting my total cost :( I wouldve been very happy if they couldve at least offered a discount to go towards the bill I will have to pay a dealership to fix the camera.
Honest and stands behind their product, would not hesitate to return . 5 stars !
Ashleigh H. had an amazing personality and great customer service and answered all questions asked.
You can’t even make a call to a human? You can ONLY book appointments online? You can ONLY go to FAQ online with a question that is NOT listed there? Seriously? Way to go Safelite. Kiss my business goodbye.
Friendly, quick, and quality service.
We are now scheduled for our 5th appointment to have our windshield replaced.
Its was very easy and they were under 30 minutes putting in my brand-new windshield and wipers
Never could order my windshield it took me to go to another place to have my windshield in less 3 weeks and when I went to pick up my car up they left the doors unlocked. Poor service
I had a crack in my windshield and thankfully while I was on vacation near Greenville, Safelite was able to get my windshield ordered, replaced, and my safety camera recalibrated within a couple days so I could travel home safely. Thank you for the quick turnaround and the great customer service.
Could not have asked for a better experience. I busted out the rear glass and power slider on my 2019 Ram 1500. The dealer said it would be a week or more before they could get the glass and get it installed. I contacted Safelite and scheduled an appointment online 7:30am in the morning on a Saturday and had my truck there at 3:00pm the same day. The glass was already there in that short amount of time. It was a 5-hour job and it was an hour until closing so they began on Monday. I was on my way around 1pm. I would still being waiting for the dealer right now and without my truck. These guys were professional, timely, had a great attitude, and made my experience worry-free. I have no complaints whatsoever. Next time I need any work done that is auto glass related, these guys will get my first choice. And it was $100 cheaper than the dealer! Stand up job.
Everything went fine we didnt have any problems.
Tech did good job with limited tools he had ..need to have a heated knife....to cut cement around window would be great..
They came to my home to replace my windshield. I was surprised how quickly they were able to schedule me. About 2 weeks later while driving on the highway a piece of trim flew off. I called and they scheduled a tech to come fix it. When the tech arrived he had a while new windshield so he couldnt do the repair. He said he would let his manager know what piece to order and they would schedule another appointment. About 4 weeks later I had heard nothing so I reached out again. They didnt have the piece and would have to order it. They would contact me when it came in. About 6 weeks after that, I contacted them again. They ordered the piece it came in but they put it on someone elses vehicle. They would have to order it again and contact me once it came in. It has been a little over 8 weeks since the last time I contacted them, and I havent heard anything from anyone. This is the worst customer service I have EVER experienced! It has been 4 1/2 months now that theyve been giving me the run around of ordering this part to replace. I understand things happen, but own up to your mistakes instead of acting like it doesnt matter.
Job well done and it didnt take long.
Had this location replace a windshield, an the technician came an got me out the sitting area to show me something that was done on a previous visit..UmmmmThe quality of the work was questioned by someone who previously installed the windshield that was installed...
My Tech was Phil He Did A Awesome Job, Everything Is Perfect👌 Definitely Recommend Safelite For Any Windows Repairs..
Had them replace my rear windshield and it looks flawless. Took slightly longer than expected but was well worth the wait.
They were very accurate with the time, and the price, they quoted me and like most companies try to add more charges some way or another my appointment was at 1:00 they said in an email it would be an hour and a half wait, I was out by 1:30 I was very impressed. Very nice people. Thank you.
I couldnt use their services because the crack extended too much. So FYI to get the least expensive repair the crack needs to be small so get there ASAP! Otherwise setting up appointment had to be done online which was ok as it asked for cc data and precharged me which was quickly returned. Other than that the people were nice and store clean.
I had this location come out to replace my windshield last Thursday. The Tech replaced the windshield but on the way home I had a noticeable wind noise now coming from the front of the truck. I set up a warranty Work order for the next afternoon to which noone showed for nor contacted me about. I stayed an hour after work just to ensure that I gave them adequate time to make their time frame. I then received a text saying my work order had been rescheduled without any contact with me. The same Tech arrived for the 2nd work order and looked at the windshield and said nothing was wrong apparently(theres no direct contact, just text). A friend of mine who used to own a glass company happened to see him working on my truck and stopped to talk to him (which I was unaware of till said friend texted me after). The friend later informed me that no work had been performed and that the Tech was not even sure how to take the wiper cowl off of my truck. This obviously concerned as he would have had to have taken that off the first time to actually replace the windshield correctly. So I went outside to check an hour or so after the job had been completed and found that 1 molding was left loose with one screw missing and one loose. A tab was broken off of my wiper cowl which was also left loose and flapping around. Then today on my way home my windshield wiper stopped working in the rain because the bolt for the windshield wiper had been left not even hand tight. This is a little bit ridiculous and some of the most unprofessional and poor quality I have ever received and of course theres no one to contact because there are no phone numbers who will put you through to an actual local person and the automated messenger just tells you to go online and hangs up. So here I am, online, having to complain like a Karen. The office is 2hrs away so I dont have time to go by and complain in person so I guess I get to just waste my time doing this which Im sure will get zero results.
Bad workmanship. Cant get safelite to come fix air leaking through
6 visits two windshields, one rearview mirror and a new rain sensor. This was all due to lack of quality workmanship. If you need anything done, Jesse is the person to request. He knew what was needed and on the second visit he had everything corrected. Thank you Jesse for restoring my faith in Safelite! They need to put you as the manager over the greenville office or as the territory manager for this region.
Technician was great and was very accommodating to my schedule.
Went to get a window regulator replaced and since the window was fine it was going to be roughly $300. No issue there but my car was on a trailer as it would not start so getting it on the trailer before took a handful of people to get it done.I am told that they would have to take the car off the trailer to do any work and Im fine with that as long as I have help getting it back up there. They then inform me that no one would be able to help me as it is a liability to work on the trailer or help me reload it.They could have just worked on the trailer since the door was able to open fully but they refused. After this fiasco i ask how much the regulator would cost and Im informed $170-180. I looked up the same type of part after i left and its $80 cheaper online than buying from them.
I checked with this company 3 different times on the price of a windshield for my 1999 dodge ram1500 pickup and got 3 different prices.WHAT THE HELL!
I stopped by to see if they could fix the black rubber piece that goes around the windshield. Mine has come unglued and was starting to come off a little. The lady I spoke to was so friendly she told me they could fix it and how much it would cost. Then she told how I could save a bunch of money and how to fix it myself. I love when a company looks after the customer instead of their bottom line. I will definitely be calling on them in the future.
Replaced my windshield and left the wiper blades off. I contacted them and they said they would come back the next day and put them on. They never showed up or called me back. Cameron left some tools under the hood of the truck along with the wiper blades he left off. I messaged him back on the app he used asking me to do a survey of his performance. No response whatsoever even after I was told they would return and put them on. I am glad i did not find out the blades where missing while driving in the rain.
Got my windshield replaced here and followed all their directions after the fact and my windshield did not seal correctly and now I have water damage on the passenger side of my vehicle due to rain. No luck calling because its a recording that hangs up at the end and website just asks for windshield damage (chips, cracks, etc.). Not sure where to go from here.
They say same day but its not true. 3 days for and appointment. I called a local shop that did it same day for 40 dollars cheaper than the safelite quote.
Great prices. They have u in and out.
Awesome service! I would have given 5 stars but broken glass was left all in my seats.
100% great experience.
Very quick and friendly service!
They havent done the job yet
Dont bother. customer service is worse than a brick wall.
Even with the human condition incorporated Safelite has gone above and beyond to guarantee customer satisfaction. If the need ever arises I will return to this facility. Thank you management Team and thank you dedicated glass technician that took on the work of two glass techs!
I need someone to call me I can not get in contact with anyone 2581079
Went to my appointment and they ordered the wrong glass, so I had to reschedule (not a big deal, just inconvenient), I went back for the second appointment and they didnt get the shattered glass out of the door from the old window being replaced (now my door rattles) and they didnt place the moldings around the window back right. Im now going to have to take the door back apart to fix these mistakes...
Such friendly and professional staff.
Great and friendly fast service
Great service, issue with fitment but I will contact when I get a chance.
Very often these national companies fail to live up to their TV hype at the local level. Not in the case of Safelite in Greenville. From start to finish it went without a hitch. I scheduled on Friday and had no problem getting it done the next day, Saturday. They even sent me an email with the installers name and a photo. Pleasant and professional, he clearly knew what he was doing. Installation was followed the next day by torrential rain. Not a drop of leakage. Their price was excellent as was their service. I would definitely recommend them.I would also recommend getting glass coverage for your car. I thought I had it but I didnt. So my $500 deductible comprehensive coverage came nowhere near paying for the work.
Came for a back glass install should have been a 3-4 hour process but they where not prepared for the day and don’t have any tape. Had to wait for another person to bring them tape still waiting on that by the way. appointment time 8:00 now 11:00 and still no tape. Disappointed that they weren’t prepared for the day. Been ready to put the rear glass in for about 45 minutes now.
Please forgive me for not remembering my techs name, He was very courteous and helpful and gave a smile the whole time while assisting me 👌 Great work.
Outstanding service. Very professional
Excellent customer service
Good job 👌
I wouldve given them 5 stars but they left the glass under my seats and all over the back seat floor. They said and I quote We only have the small vaccumm with us, so you might want to take it to a car wash After paying $313 🙄 this is the first and last time Ill be using their services. Thanks for the new windshield though.
I scheduled an appointment at 9am this morning (with a window of 8am to 12pm). I was happy to have it fixed before going back home from work. When I had not heard from them close to noon time called my insurance who got a hold of someone in the Greenville location, and says that theyll me in a few minutes. They call me back saying that I had not scheduled it for them to come and fix it at my work (lies, I have the claim summary with the information), then said that the truck was on the shop and that it was going to be later this after noon, by 3pm, as I had to leave by 4pm. Around 3pm, I called them, asking when they think theyll be here, and give me the story about the car being in the shop still. I ask if someone else can come fix it. No, youll have to bring it in to fix it. I wasted my whole day waiting on them, for them to suggest I go to them in the middle of rush our? Ridiculous! Ended up making an appointment in Raleigh. If this is the type of customer service they offer, I can only imagine the type of work they do.
I scheduled my appointment online and ordered the mobile service. My technician was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job installing my windshield and in less time that was estimated.
Excellent service and a solid job done! We couldnt be happier with the speed of service or the quality of the work. I went in with a chipped windshield for an appointment that was set through my insurance company.
I visited the Greenville, North Carolina, Safelite location last week for a windshield replacement. I received a call the evening before to confirm my appointment, and was greeted by the technician, Charles, when I arrived. He completed the order in half the time expected! I was delighted to get back on the road, and return to work early. I highly recommend Safelite, especially this location!
Great experience vehicle was ready by the time they said it would be.
Great service!!
Good service
Had a small star chip in my windshield from a rock (location where glass meets the bottom black portion). The star chip was smaller than a quarter. The staff that responded between the 12-5 timeframe came at 4:15, stated he didnt have time to fix it because he had to head to New Bern and then proceeded to state the windshield needed to be replaced because he was afraid he would crack it while trying to repair the chip. It was clear he was not the best candidate for the job and I went with another local shop that fixed the repair in 10mins and stated the windshield did not need to be replaced. The glass looks good as new. I wouldnt recommend Safelite and would not return as they appear to not be well trained and wanting extra money.
I feel they were not careful to prevent a small chip in my windshield from spreading.I have had repairs done before but these guys done a rush job almost as if they wanted it to break out so they could replace the windshield. The windshield is going to be replaced but not by this group of dummies
The people know what they are doing.
I did not get the same type of windshield that I had. My original windshield from the factory was completely tinted. This new one is as clear as a bell! I have called repeatedly to get this problem fixed. So far, no positive results. I do not recommend Safelite.
The technician that replaced my windshield was courteous and very professional. I highly recommend them and I am very satisfied with the service I received.
The folks at the Safelite store were GREAT. The tech did a fantastic job and I could see he was well experienced. It was a pleasure doing business with Safelite.
From the initial phone call I observed extreme professionalism and courteousness. April was very helpful and kind, super friendly. Will, who was the tech that came out for the repair was presentful, and again, extremely professional. As for the price I cant really comment seeing that my auto glass replacement shopping experiences are limited to this one instance, but the great experience Ive had with Safelite will deter me from looking elsewhere. The whole task was executed in an extremely timely manner with the whole process taking little to no effort on my end. Job well done.
Stone hit windshield in the late afternoon. Called insurance. They arranged an appointment that day with Safelite. I went, they took care of it within a half hour. Easy. They did a great job.
The back slider window on my truck was busted. I chose to go with Safelite because they work with usaa on the scheduling. The scheduling was easy and they arrived within the time allotted. So far I’ve had no issues with the window leaking. I would of given them 5 stars but the clean up was terrible. They left glass all over my back seat and the driveway. My daughter cut her hand. They also left parts of the window seal after it was cut. I would expect some glass but it’s much more than a few pieces of glass. I had already vacuumed out the truck and I was set back from how much glass was left in the driveway and grass.
My rearview mirror fell off my windshield because of the heat, they were able to glue it back on even though the windshield was never fixed there and it was free. Awesome awesome techs.
They fixed my windshield but damages my front panel to my car and dented hinges on my roof. If you have an older car beware
First they never snapped the rubber grommets back into place and they didnt reconnect my windshield wipers (2 simple bolts) which I didnt realize until driving down the freeway when it started to rain. Next time Ill take it to the dealership.
Fast friendly and professional services thanks
My windshield cracked on Tues. Reported it to insurance online on Wed. Windshield was replaced on Thurs morning under my carport. It just doesnt get any easier than that. Added bonus, new wiper blades, vacuum and window wash! Technician even called me in the morning to narrow the time frame from a 6 hour window to a 2 hour window.
My vehicle windshield was damaged by hurricane Florence. My insurance company recommended satelite. my appointment was between 8-12. On the morning of my appointment the tech Donald calls at 8:05 to say he hasnt left Grenville yet, and that he is going to change the schedule and work his way to me. The tech couldnt give me a time of when he would be here but did say if I would leave my vehicle unlocked he would get to it sometime before then end of the day if possible. This technician was extremely unprofessional. I would NOT recommend the Grenville NC location.
My windshield has a chip in it and I was able to get it fixed the same day. They have replaced this same windshield in the past and now have taken care of me once again.
Quality and on time..thank u
Don’t waste your time. You will get the run around
I had them replace a windshield and I wasnt even in town that day! I do like the service. It is a bit more expensive the alternatives (local companies), but the service is outstanding.
My tech was very helpful
This place deserves negative stars! I thought I was getting a good service... I just bought a car 4/21 and noticed a couple small cracks. I started off by pre-paying for the repair on my windshield on 4/25, the tech Donald arrives checks out the cracks and he tells me it looks like the cracks are filled but he would test to see if they were. I’m standing there the whole time watching as he takes a pen like device and digs into one of the cracks then sets up and proceeds to try to fill the crack. With whatever contraption they use, he pumped a few times to put resin in the crack, mind you the crack was only maybe 2cm. With a quick “oh sh%# he calls me over to show me the crack got bigger (about 4-5cm at this point) as the resin and pressure of the pump had been too much. Very professional language. He NEVER told me that could happen, he told me he WOULD NOT charge me. (He really seemed genuine) He wasn’t going to charge me because he made a mistake and made the crack worse. So ignorantly I believed that he wouldn’t charge me. I spoke to him about what to do from this point and he tells me I have to replace the windshield! Way to try and upsell a service! I told him I’d think about it and call my insurance agent, he gave me a business card and left. I later checked to see if I was charged for the “work” he had done, I was charged $160 for a guy to come out and make a crack on my windshield worse! So I call direct to Greenville NC location and Mark answers, I tell him what happened and he says Donald should have told me that making the crack worse could happen, and that I was charged for the “work” he had done... he didn’t do anything but make the crack worse. Mark tells me he would talk to Donald and get to the bottom of the issue. I told him I’d dispute the issue if it wasn’t resolved. It is now 4/27 and he still hasn’t called back, so I call again and ask for a manager and Mark answers the phone and tells me Tonya, the manager, won’t be available until Monday 4/30. What kind of business is this? After writing this review I’m going to call corporate maybe my problem will be resolved then....**Update: they gave my money back and I appreciate that, although I am still displeased with the professionalism**
After scheduling my appointment, I was in & out with a brand-new windshield in just over an hour.
Absolute garbage customer service. Windshield was scheduled to be a mobile fix from 8-12. I get a voicemail saying they won’t be in my part of town until two. They were notified on two different occasions to call another number because my spouse had the car and when they got to her job where the vehicle was located they instead called me and say they don’t know who to go in and ask for. I gave her number three separate times. You don’t have to go in and ask for anyone callll the number.
Windshield was replaced November 23, 2016. The technician install it wrong, broke the molding on the car and removed clips (have no idea where they are). Wind leakage and everything. A few days later, the windshield appeared to be sinking.....I called to supervisor Andy who had an attitude the very minute I informed him that there was something wrong with my vehicle. Another technician came out to look at it, was very detailed and informed me that they will have to order new parts (Molding & Clips). The person ordering these parts [Karen] would call me. A week has passed by and I have not heard from them. So I call the supervisor back, who has no idea where the parts are-or could not locate them. He informed me that karen would call me. Luckily, she called within the next 10 minutes to casually inform me she dropped the ball and forgot to order the parts.....huh? She informed me once again that she would order the parts and that she will have the technician come out on Wednesday. She also indicated that she would call once the parts are in. This never happened. So Wednesday gets here, and I inform the technician that I am at another location today. He calls back to inform me that he will not be coming as all the the parts did not in. No phone call from Karen, no request to reschedule or anything. The parts come in and the technician comes out to replace the molding & put on the clips. Now I am hearing wind in the car. Called the 1800 number to get some MORE work done! Lets see how this turns out!BEWARE!!! IF you want the run around, go ahead to safelite. I would not recommend this company to anyone; they are unprofessional; they are not customer service oriented, they dont do the job right and catch attitudes when you try to explain to them that something is wrong. A real piece of work with this company! I regret calling my insurance agency!
Showed up in a timely manner and did a great job. Ive had no problems at all so far and the new windshield looks great.
I went in to have a small chip in my windshield repaired and was told it could be repaired with no problem. I paid, had the work done, and when the technician came out to give me my key, he asked if I had been told that it was a structural fix and not cosmetic, and it may still have a noticeable mark. No, I was not informed of this prior to paying for the service, and when I got into my vehicle, the mark does not look any better than before the work had been done. It is incredibly unprofessional that this was not clarified to me before the job was done, and I am also confused why their website claims:Safelite only uses the highest-quality materials. Our exclusive resin is injected into the chip, and after it is fully cured, the repair is polished to near-imperceptibility.I am sorely disappointed in the lack of professionalism, and the fact that the repair job does not live up to the guarantee stated on the SafeLite website. Their only solution given to me when I called about being dissatisfied was to pay $150 more to have my entire windshield replaced. I would never recommend this location to anyone.
Came to my house, fast efficient service
Quick service, excellent customer service!
Customer service was terrible. The technician was very rude. They repaired the chip on my windshield but they want me to buy a new one. They tried really hard to sell me a more expensive service that I dont want. I dont coming back to this location.
Couldnt fix my problem
My Toyota 4Runner needed the rear glass replaced. 4Runners have a power rear window that goes up and down. For my 1st appt., I had a mobile tech come to my worksite. The tech stated he could not replace the glass due to the regulator being out of place from the glass shattering and that it needs to be replaced at the dealer. He said he could try to put it back in place himself but didnt want to be held responsible if something broke. Understandable. So we cancelled the appointment and I replaced the regulator at the dealer as told. I then scheduled a 2nd appt. 2 days later to try again to replace the glass at the Safelite location. When I walked to the front desk, a tech was talking on the phone with his feet up on the desk. As I stood and waited for him to finish his call, he kept his feet on the desk, saw me, and didnt move. He thenn hung up and helped me and starts to work on my car. About 15 minutes later, he asks me to take a look and tells me the same thing the 1st tech did about the regulator being out of place. BUT said let me see what I can do. So I had a seat in the lobby, while he fiddled around with it and tried putting it back into place (exactly what the 1st tech didnt do in case he damaged it more). During this time, he started blaring country music inside the shop and asked another tech to come help by pushing the window button up and down while he tried to work on the regulator. The music was so loud that another customer in the lobby complained to his other half about the music being so loud and asking if hes deaf and I just assumed it was coming from their shop radio. After about 15 minutes the tech tells me he cannot fix it and that the regulator has to be replaced at the dealership (again). I told him I just had it replaced 2 days ago and that Ive been driving a rental vehicle this whole time so nobody or anything could have damaged it. So, I called the dealership and they said to buy the glass at Safelite and the dealer will do all repairs there instead of me having to drive back and forth. At this time Im crying since I have no idea what is truly wrong and what needs to be done. So, I follow the dealerships advice and bought the glass from Safelite. As soon as I get into my car to drive back to the dealer, I realize my radio station is on a country station. I dont listen to country. The tech used MY car to blare HIS music! I then dropped off my car at the dealer. About an hour later the dealer calls me asking if I had pushed the window button up or down since the glass was broken. I told him no, Ive been in a rental vehicle and only drove it to and from the appts between Safelite and the dealer and never hit the button knowing the window was shattered. He told the motor was fried from somebody hitting the window button up and down, and that also there are broken parts from somebody trying to put the regulator back in place. At this point Im fed up and gave him Safelites contact numbers to call directly. He called Safelite who then tells him that I broke it not them! They blamed the customer!! Over $1000, a lot of tears and stress, and 19 days later, I finally have my car back for something that should have cost around $200 and 1-2 days of work. I will NEVER EVER use Safelite again and will be telling my friends and family the same. Please go to the dealership or somebody that you already trust.
I freely write favorable reviews of companies and services that have exceeded my expectations, and only post unfavorable ones when the product or service has been so bad that it really needs to me memorialized. This review is the second kind.I scheduled a windshield replacement via a conference call with my insurance agent. Call was made 6/9/17 and the appointment was made for 6/13/17. The morning of 6/13, and installer called and said he would come late that day to INSPECT, not fix, the car. When he arrived, he said they had to see it to know which windsheild it required. He said another installer would come 6/16 to install the windshield. The morning of 6/16, an installer called and said I would be his last appointment of the day. He arrrived about 5 PM and spent about an hour replacing the windshield.OK, so far its taken a little longer than it should, but no big deal.I was planning to sell the car, so on 6/19, I took it in for an appraisal. The appraiser refused to appraise it because the new windshield had not been installed correctly, and consequently the VIN on the dashboard was not visible. I was a little upset, but you know...stuff happens. And besides a reliable company like SafeLite will certainly do a timely warranty repair, right. This is where the fun stuff starts. So on 6/19, I called the office and it took me through a complicated automated phone system with no apparent option to talk to a live person. At the conclusion of the call, the system told me the work was scheduled for 6/23 between 12 and 5. Well, I was at least a little displeased that warranty repair, for a job that had already been delayed once, didnt get a little higher priority. But, I really didnt relish the idea of having to wade through that frustrating automated phone system, and still probably not reach a live person, so I decided to just wait until 6/23. At this point it has now been 10 days since I actually made the appointment, and apparently it was going to 15 days before the repair was actually completed.But...that was not to be!By mid afternoon on 6/23, I hadnt heard from an installer to confirm the appointment, so I called the office. This time I got a live person (Anthony) who put me on hold for 17 minutes, then told me the appointment had been cancelled. No notice to me!! He said someone would need to come and see what the problem was and then they would reschedule. At this point, I was no longer the tolerant client I had been, and became assertive I told him no one needed to see the problem, I could describe very clearly. I told him I had now waited over 2 weeks for a simple repair, and I wanted done, timely. While I was on hold for 17 minutes, I called the corporate number on my other phone. Over the course of next hour, 3 different people told me the repair would be scheduled for either the next day (6/24, or 6/26 at the latest. All three people promised faithfully they would personally call before the end of the day, and confirm an update. Nobody called. Lots of apologies, but zero follow-up.So late afternoon on 6/23, I called the office. And I got a live person, Michelle. Michelle said the job was scheduled, not for the at the latest 6/26, but for 6/28. I was pretty assertive when i explained to her that was absolutely unacceptable. After putting me on hold and conferring with other, she they were rescheduling it for the original at the latest 6/26.And as it turns out, even the 6/26 appointment was for an evaluation. But, the installer Ryan, that came was from the Raleigh office, said he had both the knowledge and the authority to expedite, and would definitely return the next day, 6/27, and properly complete the repair. And he did. Raleigh office, 1, Greenville, zero.18 days to get a windshield replaced...unbelievable.
