I called ahead to insure they had the tires I needed. Went for 9 am appt. I was checking out in about 45 minutes. No problem.
This auto center is superb. They have an awesome team there. I was very impressed with Walmart auto center. I cant stop talking about it. I will be back.
DON’T GO HERE!!! The level of customer service and ownership in their product / quality of work is appalling. We ignored the horrible reviews, purchased 4 new tires, and immediately regretted it. Over the next 4 months, we were back in the autocenter 5 times to repair leaks due to the installation. Management and customer service refused to stand behind their service, and support the obvious issues until our inconveniences were also their problemWe will never be going again. I will also make sure I pay attention to the reviews before going anywhere again. Walmart Autocenter Greenville NC should be proud of the 1.5 stars they have, because Google won’t let anyone add a rating lower than 1
Called automotive at least three times, no one answered the phone l purchased my tires somewhere else
Awesome Team! 💙💛
They helped my mom get a battery for her van!
Worst place to get your car serviced. I went there WITH an appointment and it took over 2 hours to simply just get four tires installed. I made sure to tell the three people who were at the front desk about my appointment when I first arrived just for them to tell me two hours later they forgot to mention it to the mechanics that I had an appointment which is what took so long. For future reference if you do plan to get your car serviced here be prepared to spend half your day here!
A worker drained my husband’s transmission fluid when he went there just to get an oil change.
Only do tires....... I thought walmart auto center did all things vehicle related.. but nope n they dont even sell anything like brakes or stuff like that
I came with an appointment to get two tires changed at 2pm and it is now 5pm, my car has yet to be lifted. They joke around and don’t focus on their work, don’t come here you will be waiting forever. 1/10 would not recommend.
Extremely poor communication and customer service. I called over 7 hours after I dropped off a tire for repair and was on hold for another 20 minutes before someone tried to help me. They said my tire was fine (which Im sure it was not) and they declined repair of my spare, but couldnt tell me why nobody had called to let me know that. I dropped off a full size tire, not a spare. After several minutes of debating with the guy on the phone, they agreed to take another look at it. They did call back after another hour and then said that my tire had 3 holes and needed to be replaced! The tire I need had to be ordered and I was told that it would arrive the next morning, usually by 8am and that I would get a courtesy call when it arrived. I was also told my tire would be fixed ASAP once it arrived. It is now noon and Ive heard nothing from them. I called and requested to speak to management to inform them of my issues. A 15-minute conversation that started with me being told that the tire had not been delivered yet ended with them telling me it was in and would be ready for pick up at 12:30. I am filing this one in the lessons learned category and will never return there for service again.
They did a great job on my oil change. My car uses synthetic oil so be prepared to pay about $50 but they top off all your fluids and vacuum your car. Be prepared to be there for a couple of hours unless your the first person there.
Staff is lazy and will not correct issues even after being pointed out. I stopped visiting this location. If you want your vehicle to last, don’t put it in the hands of Walmart “auto care centers”.
Good
I have had my tires done at walmart a few times the first few times were ok the last two my husband truck we dropped off his truck. At 4:45 went to supper came back to store 2 hours later truck was not done. We did not leave walmart till 940 pm and they close the auto center at 9 the guy put the wrong tires on truck we said ok just leave them then when leave find he put the new tire on the spar
Consistent quality service and good prices. Backed by Wal Mart guarantees. Jules and other guys very helpful.
Good prices save about 20 on full synthetic oil change!!!
Walmart trained auto techs who are clueless. Lost another customers car keys. And unable to change the oil because they couldnt get to the oil filter. After waiting over one hour took my vehicle to a qualified mechanic not some Walmart certified tech.
Over filled my oil level a great deal. They broke parts under my hood. But I will say this, they did pay me for those damages. But I had to pay for an engine rebuild out of my own pocket because they made my ride start leaking oil real bad.
Went to get a new tire after hitting a curb. When I left walmart, my car was making a grinding noise that sounded like metal on metal that was not there when I took my car in, so took it back. They fixed whatever they had done. But the gentleman who showed me what the issue was was very condescending and smug, as he also tells me I need my brake pads replaced because it was to the metal [what was written in the notes of my receipt]. There were no screeching noises that usually come with the sound of needing new brake pads. When I went to my dealership to get serviced, I asked them if they could check it out just to be safe. They told me all pads were still as new and were okay and they couldnt understand why the man told me that and recorded that on my receipt. I honestly wouldnt have as much of an issue if the guy wasnt so smug about something he was very obviously wrong about.
Buy online and install tires, save a bundle VS competitors. Cooper Tires for Jeeps, love em!
Great price... Slow service! Did a good and thorough job tho 👍
Always do a great job and the works are always nice. My only issue is the wait sometimes bht thats more on me comming in later then on them.
Waited 4hours for a basic quick tire rotation. After allready being their over 2.5hrs the auto dept manager decided they needed a meeting with the only guy doing tire service which took 45mins and another employee finally went and got them. This is completly ridiculous and very poor managment!!!!
I needed two new tires and Walmart had them at a good price and the guys and the guys in the service center took the old ones off with the new ones on I was in and out in an hour
I went to my local walmart to get my oil changed a few days ago. I pulled into the express lane and a friendly walmart employee greeted me and asked which oil change package i wanted. I told her that i needed a full synthetic oil change and I inquired about the price. She told me that it was 40 some dollars. I asked how long it would take and she said about an hour and half. She explained that they would call me when my car was done. I walked back to my house. Four hours went by and they hadn’t called. I called them and they said my car still wasn’t ready. They called me six hours after dropping my car off and let me know it was ready. When i got to the counter the lady was very rude and her register wasn’t working. So we walked over to the sporting goods section to use their register. We waiting about 10 more minutes for the associate to show up. When i went to pay for my oil change they told me that i owed 63 dollars. So I waited 6 hours and i was misquoted. Then I noticed that the oil sticker on my windshield said that i needed another oil change in 3000 miles.... so i call these people and I’m on hold for 12 minutes before someone answered. I explained what happened and told her that i needed to verify that they put the correct oil in my car. The lady again was very rude. They put on hold for another 5 minutes before saying we’re not sure why your sticker is wrong... our bad..
Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart. No customer satisfaction and Wal-Mart doesn’t care. We shop there and the owners are kazillionares!
Literally took OVER 5 hours for a new set of tires and an oil change. Employees did more (slow) walking around then it seemed work itself. The man working the front desk had to stop multiple times to help other people and answer all the phone calls. We tried to check out twice and were skipped in line both times. Very disorganized and we will never be back. Good luck going here.
Very poor experience. I had coupons at the shop and go counter and the woman named Sunday would not walk over to help. But rather mislead me on how to scan coupons. Which afterwards she called someone over to help. Which I had to wait longer for.
Came in this morning at 7 to get a new tire. They didnt have one I needed and had to order it from the the Wilson store. Got called at 3 when the new one came in and came back to get it put on. I am still waiting. Once they are done, Im getting in my car and never coming back here for anything car related. F this place.
So needed new tires because my family and I were going on vacation out-of-state and decided to go to Walmart because of their cheap prices and, well, it was this past Sunday and we were leaving Monday. Everything was well with the service until I look at my wheel this evening and one of my center caps fell off. All the rest were loose so pushed them in.
Long wait. Workers are nice. They do keep you updated on how much longer it will take.
This place has people with wonderful customer service skills and great hospilatity
This is the second time im getting tires here and the last. The receptionist is really rude and condescending. The mechanics dont know what theyre doing. The first time i got my tires put on and it took all day, from like 8am to 4/5pm and the entire day they said it would be 40 mins. They didnt pull my car in for at least an hour. This second time im getting one tire replaced and she said id be first and it wouldnt take long. 40 mins later and they still havent pulled my car in. So i said id take it somewhere else and the girl made a snarky remark about how “they about to do it”.”The tires here dont last long, the warranty dorsnt cover anything and the service is terrible.
Great service and the tires price is awesome
I had called earlier in the day to make sure the tires and correct size I wanted were in stock. They were. I showed up and Josh was very helpful in ensuring that the tires I wanted would indeed fit on my truck. My truck originally came with 2357516 tires, but no one stocks them. My truck has a GM optional tire size of 2557016 that everyone uses, and Josh checked/verified this and sent me to the bays to check in.After checking in with Dave, AJ comes and takes my paperwork and says he needs to check to make sure the tires are the right size. I try to explain to him about the two different sizes and he says thats not right and needs to check the door sticker. He tries to open the door, it was locked. He rudely says to unlock it, gets upset because I have to walk over and physically unlock it because it is a 2002 base model Silverado without power locks. AJ looks at the sticker and says nope we are not changing the tires they are the wrong size. I again try to explain that they are putting on the optional size and that he can go inside to verify. He walks in and begins complaining and finally has Dave verify the optional tire size. Josh shows Dave, from the manual that the size they were putting on was correct.Other than AJ, 12 year of excellent service, I was happy.AJ need to take classes in customer service relations, and that is why I am giving this location 3 stars. Everyone else I dealt with was excellent and very friendly.
They are really slow I was suppose to get 4 new tires and it took forever and the so call mechanics were stnding around talking not doing any work I didnt even get my tires.
Had to walk up to, im assuming, a mechanic just to ask a question although two of them watch me look around for some help
Wait was long (almost 2 hours) even though only one car was in front of us. Price quoted was not final price. Not returning.
Total incompetence from these employees. They dont answer phones, standing around talking with each other rather than assisting customers, disorganization in almost every department.Sad.
They get the job done but a long wait.
I think the employees need to be incentivized to do work at a pace that could beat a 3 toed sloth.
Turned in car at around 11 to get new tires and oil changed there was ONE car in front of us and no one else getting tires done, it is now 2 and our car is lifted off the ground. Avoid if you can. They have no priorities.
Waited 4 hours for tires and listened to the employees complain about all the work
Took nearly three hours to get 2 new tires.
Employees were rude no one seemed to want to help
The sign said they open at 7:00a.m., but the workers showed up a few minutes before 7:30 a.m. on a Tuesday. They didnt pull the car before me and mine in the garage until about 7:40. Then stood around the cars with the hoods down??
COMPUTER DOWN HAD TO GO TO OTHER TIRE STORE TO BUY
Very helpful and efficient
It took 3 1/2 hours for them to take a nail out of my tire.
The most incompetent group of employees I’ve ever encountered.
Took them 3 1/2 hours to change one tire.
Just needed to get my tire patched. Left after waiting an hour and seeing only one new car move through in that time.
It would help if the people here would ANSWER THE PHONE! Called literally 15 times this morning. 5 times no answer, 10 times was told to hang on a minute and the person never picked back up. Insane!
Never answer the phone
Takes forever, poor communication
Really slow..
Great
