Amazing crafted candle company right off Main Street! They even offer classes a s custom scented candles! A little pricy, but it’s expected based on quality and the location. Def recommend stopping in to enjoy the smells!

Absolutely love this place! Their candles are such amazing quality, they spread so well and there are so many options to choose from. Their bath and body products are just as wonderful and last a good while after use, I use the Cleopatra scrub and lotion and the scent lingers long after use. The staff are always so kind and knowledgeable about the products too, could not recommend them enough!

Wonderful scents and great staff! You can always find a nice candle or body product to give as a gift or treat yourself. They also have candle making classes which are a lot of fun! Definitely check this store out if you are in Greenville.

I love this store. The products are some of the few scented products that dont give my husband headaches. The variety of scents available can please anyone. The quality of the lotion is top notch. My hands are silky smooth. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable.

Tina, the owner, led our private party and first off, thanks to her for waiting and being SO PATIENT with us because our group did not all arrive on time. She was a delight and super knowledgeable about her craft. Everything there is made in- store, by hand and youll enjoy the myriad of scents in the shop. I loved the tart melts because I have warmers throughout my home so because I loved a few scents, the tart melts were perfect. Even the essential oils are made in- house and I purchased an eucalyptus oil bottle that smells phenomenal. Apparently the fragrance is the most expensive part of the candle making ingredients but I also thought how it was so cool that this company works with fragrance experts and has their candles lab- tested to ensure the fragrance to dye ratio isnt unbalanced. The candle making class lasted about 45 minutes and the color adding was the most interesting because you had to mix colors sparingly to get the color you really wanted. This is their second store (original is in Kansas) and I definitely think Ill be back for another candle class and to make a purchase!

Cute store with a great selection of candles and several other kinds of products! They make the candles themselves and they’re also soy candles which is awesome, but they aren’t any pricier than something mass produced like Yankee Candle! And all the candles smell amazing! Can’t go wrong!

If I could give them 100 stars I could. Ive been a long-time fan of what is now Greenville Soy Candle Company. My personal favorite candle is the blackberry and sage candle. Its so unique, delightful, and I think its a great year-round scent. One of the main reasons I love GSCC is that they allow you to bring in your empty jars to fill -- therefore allowing you to reduce the impact of the environmental impact of packaging (I think its around $1/oz so super affordable). Depsite now living in Atlanta, visiting this lovely little candle shop is one of my favorite parts of returning to my hometown.

We were in Greenville celebrating my mothers 50th birthday. We found Magnolia Scents out of pure luck and lucky we were!!! We had the best experience. We reserved a candle making class and were taught by the best (Taylor). Taylor not only was fun but also taught us so much. It was a great time and our homes smell WONDERFUL. Great outing and beautiful location.

I love this place so much! The candle smells so good! My friends and I came from out of town and we did the candle class and it was so fun! I would definitely come here again. It was so unique and everybody was so friendly! I really did love it and I love my candle too!

Okay, this place is totally outside of my comfort zone. I was Christmas shopping downtown with my sister and she wanted to stop in there. Its very neat and clean, the sales staff was very accommodating, my sister got excellent advice and all the gifts that she was looking for.Having said that, I am extremely sensitive to smells and odors, and I had to head for the street after about three minutes in the store. I dont mean that as a put-down of the store, I gave them a 5-star review, I just want other people who may be sensitive to be aware. My sister and I both highly recommend the store.

The smell of these candles were like nothing ive ever smelled! My house smells amazing with the vanilla extracts melts. When she told us to follow your nose it couldnt have been more true. We thought the talking in the back was just workers, but turns out they have their own candle making classes. The classes are only a few dollars more than the actual candle. Making an appointment next time we go.

Very very nice and long lasting scent!

It’s amazing. It smells so good in there and everybody is so nice. And even though they said the candle would only fill up a small room, my mermaid isle candle fills up my room and I haven’t even lit it yet. And I have a decently sized room. It’s an amazing store and I will definitely be coming back and bringing more of my friends.

Situated in downtown Greenville, Magnolia Scents by Design creates their own line of soy candles, lotions, and soaps. In addition, you can make your own candles here, choosing (with the help of a seasoned pro) the scent and color. A mom and her girls had done this just before our last visit and the girls were beyond excited by their custom creations. Great smells. Cute shop. Nice looking products. Soy-based, which claims to be the healthier burning wax. It burns a little faster, I think, than non-soy candles, but the smell is great and theres a loyalty rewards program. Recommended.

I LOVE MAGNOLIA! They have the best scents..and the nicest staff. And if they dont have your scent available when you come in..they will make it for you while you wait. ❤

Ive purchased several candles from the Downtown Greenville shop, and Ive spent even more time standing in the store, smelling their delicious scents. Their candle-making class was a steal value-wise. Just 25 dollars to design your own candle, learn how creation works and take it your masterpiece home with with you. Most importantly, everyone at the store is friendly and takes time to help you find the perfect candle for the person youre shopping for.

Cool store. The selection was a little limited but I love the fact they will make up the what you want. They also have free shipping over $75. Some of their more heavy scents really appealed to my body chemistry.

TL-DR: Awesome place and experience. Buy a candle.My girlfriend and I visited Magnolia for her birthday and to take part in their Candle Making Experience they offer. For a respectable price, they give you a history of their business (which is fairly fascinating), teach you how they make candles, let you pick which scent you want from their very wide selection, let you pick the color, and then help you produce your very own candle! The whole experience was enjoyable and we loved our candles in the end.Also, the candles scents are amazing and varied. All of them are unique and surprisingly the store is not overpowering as far as scents go.If you have some time, drop by this place and enjoy the pleasant staff and magnificent scented candles (hand washes, body soaps, etc.)

These girls are always awesome! We finally did the candle making class and it was worth it! The candles here smell the entire time you burn them and the lotions leave your hands moisturized but not greasy! Love this downtown gem 🥰

What a treasure in Greenville. If you are looking for amazing candles then you neednt look anywhere else. The quality, scent and presentation of these locally made candles are impeccable. Magnolia Scents also has a number of lotions, soaps and tarts. My wife and I stopped by to make our own candles and had an absolute blast!

Very nice store. Lots of oils and candles with hundreds of scents. Soap, too. Understand that your nose will go into sensory overload when you enter so its a little hard to figure out which one you like best.

Local treasure in downtown Greenville! I moved away and make it a point to stock up on their candles and lotion every time Im home. The lotions are high quality- smell amazing and moisturize well. Candles burn clean and long. Prices are about the same (if not less) as youd pay somewhere like Bath and Body Works, but better quality and supporting local business! Cant say enough good things about this place!

This place is awesome! They are so helpful and they have so many wonderful scents. We use up the candles and take our jars in to fill them up with new smells of each season. Its an addiction :)

One of the nicest shops on Main Street, Magnolia specializes in hand made essential oil mixes themselves to wax melts, candles, soaps and hand lotions. Its the most amazing smelling shop youll find in the Greenville area.
