I have been very unhappy with the service department. I have had my car in several times to maintain and fix any issues. This last issue has caused me to decide never to take my car back to them. I had a light come up on the dash so I scheduled an appointment for them to take a look and fix it. After spending over a thousand dollars to get it fixed I figured the problem was resolved. The car sat in my driveway for two weeks not being driven as I was unable to drive due to being sick. Two days after I started driving the same light came on the dash board meaning the problem still was not fixed. I then scheduled another appointment to get it fixed. I again paid a couple thousand dollars to get a different part fixed. The car was then driven minimal distance as I had surgery and was not allowed to drive for four weeks. When my parents were in town driving the car the same light came on and we had the same issue, so I again took it back to the service department for them to fix it. After they said they fixed it again I had the car less than twelve hours and the same light came on with the same issues. They have not fixed the problem and it has now been over 6 weeks with the car being driven minimal distance and a couple thousand dollars being spent with the same issue happening. I would not recommend them at all and advise people to stay away .

I have had the worst experience at dealerships, so I was a little weary going into this one. However, they were able to squeeze me in on Friday morning without an appointment to fix my key and also give me a full run down of all the services I need done to my car without pressuring me to get them done right that second. Everyone was so nice, and such a clean environment :) Chris explained everything in such good detail and was so easy to talk to and helpful! I drove an hour and a half away to specifically come to this dealership over the Jacksonville location and I will definitely make the drive for any future services!

Reviews are very precious because people only leave them when the service is great or when it is terrible. Unfortunately, for me the service at this location was subpar, my time was wasted with a new hire and my credit ran multiple times for the same answer to be given. I do understand the sales process but when we do not know how to do what is right or do it without the worry of meeting our specific number the integrity of our sales starts to decline. Hopefully it was just my specific circumstance and yours will be better but I do not plan on using this dealership or any in the family of them and will pass along the word.

Purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership and will be my last from this dealership. I needed to have some work done on my older vehicle and was told the diagnostic fee would be $500 just to look at it. When I questioned why it was so expensive I was told that the service manager would call me back and never heard back. I called 3 times and no one returned my calls. I called several other volkswagen dealers in the area and was quoted $139 for the diagnostic fee. Will be traveling to get my vehicle serviced there and when I am ready to purchase my next volkswagen Joe Pecheles will NOT get my business. $500 for a diagnostic fee is price gouging at its finest. Be careful if you need to have your car serviced here.

They fixed my 2013 Passat under the extended emissions warranty. They had my car for two full weeks. Two days after I got my car back the fuel injectors blew out of my engine while on the highway going 65 mph. After that my car is riddled with problems (nothing was wrong before except the fuel injectors). I was treated with total disrespect. They clearly do not like women who have thoughts and express them. Do not go here at all for anything if you can avoid it. I had to get a lawyer because they are refusing to pay for any damage that was done by what they did.

Joe Pecheles VW changed out my fuel injectors because they went bad but were still under the extended emissions warranty. They did improper work - the fuel injectors blew out of the engine on the highway putting me and my four year old daughter at risk. Then they refused to fix additional damage that was caused because of the incident. They were completely rude to me and the manager, Brian actually hung up on me. Also... look at their rude responses to negative reviews. Pretty telling.

I was all set to purchase a vehicle and asked for more information via text or email. A representative was totally happy to assist me with a blind trade quote but when he asked if he could speak with me on the phone and I said it wasn’t convenient for me I never heard back. So if you’d prefer not have someone hound your phone calling desperately for a sale - go somewhere else. I’ve never had a dealership refuse to give me information via text or email before. I will certainly not be purchasing a vehicle from this company now.

We have been exhaustively looking for a low mileage TDI with manual transmission. We looked at several different dealers. The folks at Joe Pecheles Auto Group (VW) were pleasant and answered all our questions. The purchase went without delay and we are happy owners of a like-new TDI. I recommend speaking to the folks at Joe Pecheles Auto Group for your car needs.

I had my 2002 VW Jetta TDI carried to Joe Pecheles to have the gear shifter linkage cable replaced. The shifter linkage had broke and the gear shifter would not take the transmission out of gear. I was sent a quote for repairs stating I needed to replace the transmission and clutch. Before the shifter linkage broke the transmission would shift smooth as silk and there was nothing wrong with the transmission or clutch. They also told me that they could not get the transmission out of gear. With having worked on a farm for most of my life and being very mechanically inclined I knew something was not adding up. The jest is they were trying to make the repair so expensive with unneeded parts and labor to try and get me to buy a new car since the total repairs would be more than the car is worth. I ended up carrying it to AAMCO and the only thing that had to be done was replace the shifter linkage cable, and they had no problem getting the transmission out of gear. It shifts just as good as the day I bought it. I would rather driver my car off a cliff and blow it up then have anyone form Joe Pecheles do anything to it. They are a bunch of lying incompetent fools that have no business working on anyones car.

Contacted the dealership prior to my arrival about suspected issue and problems with car. Received a general estimate for a diagnostic exam by phone, in case my car was out of warranty. Tow service confirmed I had a dead battery, as opposed to other electrical/ computer problems, which the service consultant also confirmed upon arrival. Informed me of the price to complete this service, which was reasonable. Consultant informed me of options to leave vehicle and shuttle to/from work or to wait for service to be completed. She was polite and offered complimentary refreshments. Car was serviced in a timely fashion and she reviewed the 29-point service inspection with me. She also provided me with a complimentary car wash voucher along with my receipt and copy of the inspection. Great customer service, will return for future needs.

Had a breakdown on a trip for training and to to see family in North/South Carolina. Stopped by here, great customer service as well the technician came out to talk to me which was very comforting. The car was fixed within a day as well I had some extra details that I had to work out with them which they accommodated to much satisfaction. I dont take my vehicles to dealers often but with this VW dealership, my wife and I were very pleased. I just wish they were near my home town.

From our initial phone conversations, to the first handshake, to the last one, our experience was always customer service oriented and pleasant (Who can say THAT about a car buying experience?). David Webb, Brenden, Brandon, and Brian were outstanding throughout. Their professionalism is why I will shop with Pecheles again. Additionally. their help getting us an additional key and fob for our old Audi was great as well. They really just hit all the right things to ensure that we as customers (and I get it, they are making money off us) were taken care of. I started dealing with Pecheles Volkswagen in the early 90s..Ive never had any issues with them if so l would not be on my 6th VW and one Mitsubishi purchase. There have been great sales managers great salesmenand great service managers like Bryan and Greg a sales consultant. Even the ones that answer the phone and direct my calls ALL very nice people. Ive met a few mechanics even had one to ride with me so he could identify the issue which turned out to not be one. I think I might stay with the Pecheles family ❤️

Arrived at 730 am thinking since it was the first appointment Id be done quickly. I was horribly mistaken. I went in for an oil change and to get a quote on a tail light. Tail light (06 Jetta) was quoted over the phone for $136 at store for $500 (ended up buying online oem new part for $31....) took 3 hours to do an oil change and tell me they over charge by over 1500% (seriously do the math over 15x price) Horrible service and pricing (could be all Volkswagen vehicles) lead me to never want to ever return.

Service department is one of the worst I’ve ever worked with. Misdiagnose things constantly, overcharge, 140 to pull a check engine light code? Clowns....

Got my vehicle in promptly and had great communication while it was there. I’m giving it a tentative 5 stars which could change once I do my service at 110000 miles if there are loose/missing fasteners as I’m a stickler for fasteners being installed where they belong.
