What a place! This is a spectacular place for a smoke. Visiting from Chicago and found what looked like the coolest cigar lounge and I was not disappointed. The owner is extremely friendly and we simply talked for 2.5 hrs. It was truly heavenly! Come on in and enjoy his excellent service and great selection of cigars! One for the books!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Cigar Boxx. It is a place for true ladies and gentlemen. They have a very nice selection of cigars. As a fan of Motown music, the music for the evening was great. I spoke to the gentleman who was operating the business, and he told me that they are remodeling the bar area and hope to have it reopened in March of 2019. They are currently open Monday through Saturday 5pm to 12am, but when the bar reopens, they will be open 5pm to 2am daily. My wife and I will definitely be coming back here whenever were in the area.

Im new to the Cigar world. Ive been curious and finally had an opportunity to visit The Cigar Boxx.The owner was very helpful and made great suggestions. He walked me through the basic, so I could enjoy one while I was there. I took one for the road as well.This will be a stop for me.C.R.

The Cigar Box is fabulous cigar bar. Not smoky and clean air system. Great bar and excellent service. Classic and beautiful environment. Great place to bring business meetings. Social environment for luxurious relaxation and fabulous evening. Google has not allowed for update on hours. Hours are 5pm to 2pm daily....

Not at all what I expected. I came here with business accomplices. Got there at 730pm, the place is dark but open. Go in, the floor in the humidor is coming up and peeling. The hydrometer has to be off as it reads 64% but feels like a solid 80%+. Cigars are all soft due to such and the selection is slim. The man running the place is nice and hospitable however so I buy a cigar on principle. The bar is closed. I honestly think this place may be on its way out of business and theyre just selling inventory on hand. Three stars simply because I cant give a cigar shop a less than neutral rating. I probably wont be back unless reviews state that the place has been revamped.

Good place to find a few good cigars and relax. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the location is clean and maintained. There was a leak in the cigar room while I was there. It appeared they were trying to control the humidity but it appears they were working to get the leak fixed.

Never sure when they are opened or closed. I was looking forward to a nice cigar. After fighting traffic and battling construction vehicles to find a parking spot I was finally able to find a 30 minute spot. All this just find that they are closed. But dont take my word for it. The Cigar Boxx has undergone changes in the last few months and is now a great place. The cigar selection is great and the owner is knowledgeable and very friendly. The bar side of the place also features a great selection of whiskey, bourbon, cocktails, etc. With both of these elements combined with a friendly, relaxing atmosphere, the new and improved Cigar Boxx is hard to beat.I visited The Cigar Boxx last year and was disappointed by the selection and low number of patrons, but I can light that memory on fire and burn it away, as the selection is great, the staff is very friendly and more and more people are finding out about this gem.

I am new to town and am so glad we stopped in tonight. Paolos humidor was excellent. My cigar, which was average, nothing super premium, had such an incredibly smooth draw. The cigar wasnt dry in the least either! (If youve ever gone to some other lesser places you will know what Im talking about.) And Paolo was so hospitable amd helpful. We will be returning soon.

Never know when they are open... they are the talk all over the upstate at other cigar shops. That they dont care to be open. And so many people went to find they are closed.. for better cigars, and to know the store is open just go to bodas, FH, or Cigar Experience.

Ive been a handful of times to just buy cigars. Always have a jovial conversation with the owner who is both patient with my lack of knowledge about cigars and helpful in suggesting new treats to try out. Also brings a lot of background on the cigar companies and master rollers to make buying a cigar a truly pleasant and exciting experience. The Cigar Boxx will always have my business.

Cigar was a bit on the dry side and after he lit it for us it burned completely wonky.When we asked if the bar was open for a drink he said no bar. Wow, alrighty then. We left.Unfriendly (most likely) owner/manager who really acted like he could care less if we were there. Will not return.

It took almost 10 minutes to be addressed by the bar tender when there were only 2 other people in the place. However the martini was excellent. Probably wont be back. Oh yeah, its okay to smoke as many cigars as one wants but dont dare light a cigarette. What the heck

This place has a really nice atmosphere, which makes it possibly the best place to smoke cigars indoors in Greenville. The bartender is clearly very experienced and makes a fantastic Old Fashioned. Keep in mind, this is downtown, so you will pay downtown prices, but I would say that it earns them. All of the cigars available in the shop are very high-end.

This place has such a great, relaxing vibe to it! The service was outstanding from helping pick out the perfect cigar to the drink service it was outstanding! Definitely will be back!

This is an awesome quiet late night spot. With a huge alcohol selection from wine to beer to hard liquor. Add that to the humidor, knowledgeable owner and the vintage vibe and this is a very cool spot.

Go see John the new owner of the cigar side of the place. Awesome atmosphere, great selection of cigars and all the Scotch youve ever known is in stock. This is an awesome place to just hang out and share a great cigar in the company of great friends.

Great store wide range of inventory. And the lounge was very relaxing. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

I really have been impressed with the new and improved Cigar Boxx. Stopped by the other day to see a friend and was treated well. A great spot to stop if youre visiting Greenville too. The way a cigar shop should be.

Not off to a good start here...made a special trip down to get some cigars and they were closed. Its 2:30 on a nice Friday afternoon, and no stogie love. Ill give em another chance, but there are at least two of us a little miffed about the hours. At least put up a note, dudes...

I dont do reviews normally, so I dont know how to be brief with them...I try to find a cigar shop whenever im in a new city, and i couldnt be happier with this place. My oldest just started college a few miles away, and this is going to be my regular spot - wont even look for another spot in the area. Cigar selection is pretty good with some hard to find storied cigars. The owner, Paulo, is knowledgable, and the service was swift (but only a few people were there at the time (around 7pm). Place filled up nicely by 8pm with a mix of regulars and visitors - young and old alike. Scotch and whiskey selection is one of the best Ive seen. Everything was priced about 10-15% above other places, but well worth it for the atmosphere and service.

Almost no cigars in stock. (Has been that way for months, boxes on shelf are empty.) The three boxes that I had stored in my members humidor were almost ruined from being to dry.Almost NEVER opens on time. Not worth the time and effort just go to Outmans on Orchard Park if you want cigars and drinks.No one really goes there anymore. Place always looks empty. Did I mention that he has almost NO CIGARS in stock.

Fantastic spirits, great cocktails and friendly service. The only place downtown that has a legitimate rum selection!Oh and theyre open till 2 am. Not midnight like Google says.

I was excited to check out a new (to me) cigar shop in Greenville. Planned a nice day Downton with a cigar. Showed up an hour after their website said they were open and the doors were closed. Rather go to outmans or FH in TR.

At the hotel Im staying at everyone raved about this place as The Place to Go so I go drive into Downtown Greenville drive around for 10 mins to find a parking space. Once I find a parking space and walk to the place only to find out its closed!!!! Yelp says its open the sign says open till 10pm but lights off doors locked!Needless to say Im looking for another cigar lounge.
