Great breakfast spot in walking distance to the park. They have healthy and vegan/gf options. Reason for the 4 stars...dogs are allowed. As someone who is allergic to dogs ...its frustrating!! And the thought of dog hair in peoples food .. not appetizing.

Absolutely delicious! It was so nice to have options for gluten free bagels that werent the typical packaged gf bagel most places serve. The gf berry bagel was so good and I got the Bex Bagel with that and no egg plus an iced oat milk latte, both were delicious. My friend got the Stairway to Heaven Latte with a jalapeno cheddar bagel with cheese and sausage and said both were very tasty. When I am back in the area for a visit, I will be back!

I visited Bex juice bar and I had the Glowing Green juice add kale, I also tried the Turkey Cranberry which was delicious.Emma is the Manger at this Location and she is very nice and outgoing !Great job Emma ! Bex your doing a great job for our downtown Greenville! Thank you

Came for a late lunch on a rainy day. Ambiance is quiet and relaxing and not uptight as some other places. We tried the Impractical Nut Smoothie which had espresso, milk, banana, pb, and cacao and the Unconventional which was blueberries, banana, pb, and chocolate whey. Also had the Bex sandwich, bacon egg and Swiss on blueberry bagel, and the Zeppelin, with turkey, sausage, egg and cheese on everything. The food and drinks were really unique and delicious and very filling. Awesome bagels and great flavor combinations too. Guy at counter was very courteous and welcoming. Will surely be back in this niche side of town.

I eat here every once in a while and they’re always consistently good! I love the mermaid juice and their bagels with vegan cream cheese.

Lol I really love this place though obviously. I highly recommend. I would just steer VERY CLEAR of the coffee!! Also, the juices are HIGHLY inconsistent. I got the same juice blend twice and each time it was different. Theyve switched out some of their breads on sandwiches but didnt let the customers know until its on their plates..THEY DO NOT HAVE TURKEY sausage or bacon, so dont expect to eat a hot sandwich if you dont do pig or cow!!!! How do you not offer white meat options? Lol also FYI, I paid $16 plus tax on 2 small juices!! Cra,Crazy, right?! But,I have frequented this place to support Locally owned business. The prices are a bit high, but I do like the turkey cranberry sandwich. I unfortunately cant recommend the drinks because you just never know if itll be good or not. Someday good, others horrible! I will rate this a 3.5. Its not the worst but not the best.

Coffee is good, I got a steak and egg bagel and the egg was an artificial egg, which Im not a fan of. Staff also rushes you out the second the shop closes, which I feel is a bit abrupt.

Terrible coffee. I had to repeat my order multiple times only to have it delivered wrong. The coffees themselves were terrible. Save your time and go to another place.

If you are a die hard smoothie & juice loving individual then give this place a try. However, if you are not maybe hold off on going here. The service was nice and the smoothie I had was fresh, though honestly rather bland (it was a some seasonal summer smoothie). The biggest beef I have with this place is the prices. I understand that fresh ingredients usually cost more, but $7 for a small smoothie is just ridiculous. I also got the BLT ($5), which was underwhelming. The bread tasted and looked like the kind you could buy at any supermarket, as was the other sandwich ingredients.

I looove Bex. Whenever someone suggests meeting at Methodical I end up convincing them to come here instead. Its quirky, its fun, the staff is friendly and chill and no one sighs heavily and readjusts their mustache if I ask for decaf coffee. Wowza. Long live Bex Cafe!

Love this place! Ambiance is fantastic. Coffee is delicious. Sandwiches are tasty. Service is great. The only weakness is their desserts are not that tempting...ok but not notable.

Stopped by as we were in the area for business and it was near. Glad we did. Surprisingly delightful time for random pick. Friendly and reasonably Price with amazing coffee. Breakfast sandwich I had tasted great unlike some chain cafes. Ambience was awesome. Nice spot in West end to round out with window shopping afterwards.

Excellent gluten free option for breakfast. We, as a family, tried regular and gluten free bagel sandwiches, muffins, smoothies and coffee. Everything was great!Service was very friendly too.

Great coffee and sandwich place for students, commuters, or business folks at lunch. The space is really nicely situated to get great sunlight all day long. I personally wish the furniture was a little more comfortable, but Im usually just there to drink coffee and read.

I enjoyed my time here and the coffee drink was delicious. My only suggestion would be to change your hours if closing early is a regular thing. Several people came in during my time here surprised that it was still open. One even stated the hours from the website and the worker told him closing early when business is slow is pretty common. Having unknown hours is not great for business as people will get frustrated if they stop by during those hours to find that youre closed. In fact, its about ten to 4pm and I was just told that I need to pack up as he is closing at 4pm and was told to by the manager because business has been slow today. I was going to go with 4 stars until he told me that. How disappointing that the business will not stay open for the full time while 2 paying customers are here.

Service was very slow, the employee hurt himself and was in the kitchen, banging and yelling words Id prefer that my five-year-old not hear. I just ordered smoothies and they were nothing special. Mine was an orange cream and it just tasted like banana. I make better at home in my Vitamix.

This was a great place for both my vegan daughter, with her huge sweet potato salad and fancy tea and a juice to go, and for me, serving Dad food like my cheesy roast beef sandwich, chips & diet coke. Possibly the best place in Greenville for a multi-generational sit down breakfast or lunch.

I love this place! And I can quickly see it growing into a busy hotspot in Greenville. We took my sister to eat lunch here. We all treated ourselves to specialty drinks and lunch. They had GF options which was why we went. We sat outside and ate and took in the beautiful downtown ambiance.
