We recently tried Spill the beans coffee and ice cream. My husband got strawberry banana ice cream and I got pistachio. We both got 2 scoops, but my husbands was significantly smaller in size and he paid more for it, since it was 2 flavors and waffle cone. My pistachio ice cream was actually not too bad in flavor, but not mixed well, so most of the pistachio was just on top. Our friends got coffee and commented that it tasted watered down. I gave it a try and I agree- you might as well have had mcdonalds coffee and saved money... But I gotta say, it did look pretty- with the latte art. The line was very long- the wait was not worth it.

My husband and I had high hopes. We wanted to try something new since the atmosphere looks nice inside and the seating. Also because they are open late which is awesome. We got a Vanilla iced latte. I wanted to get a treat something sweet but their was nothing to choose from. Their menu wasn’t that selective. I heard a couple behind me say the same thing and they left. We stayed to give it a try. I also looked at the ice cream menu I thought their was more flavors but it’s just chocolate and vanilla and then you can add toppings. It wasn’t really anything to rave about. It’s a shame they could really have done more, it’s such an awesome location and nice seating area inside.

Perfect place for my Grandson and husband to do school work and meetings.Coffee and ice cream were amazing.Staff are Friendly. Love this place.

Ice cream here two days in a row. The first day it was delicious and living with toppings. The second day it had hardly any toppings and was very disappointing. it would be nice if they could be a bit more consistent in the amount of topics.

Ordered a vanilla milkshake with almonds. They didnt mention that the nuts dont chop very small and thus wont get sucked up a straw. So when I finished the shake I had a large 1/4 cup pile of nuts at the bottom. The ice cream was very basic tasting. Ive had store bought that was much better. Id give the ice cream a 4 out of 10.

One of my favorite coffee and ice cream places by far! Great location right next to falls park and the ice cream is TOP notch! It’s a little on the pricey side, but it’s good quality and in a downtown area so kinda hard for it not to be pricey lol!Great work guys! Your customer service was excellent also, and the cleanliness was actually surprisingly good also! Keep up the good work!

Super sweet and laid back staff, good coffeeThey have good coffee without the snobby hipster staff, staff is local teenagers and really nice, they stay upbeat and friendly even though this place gets very long lines sometimes. Theres a nice garden outside to sit with a view of the park, but I wish they would do something about the homeless who sometimes crowd way too many tables with a bunch of smelly stuff and make it unpleasant for customers to sit there. A nice and friendly place downtown.

Great coffee, delicious ice cream, and perfect location in the heart of downtown Greenville overlooking the falls at the ready. Starbucks is right across the street. Try this place first! You won’t be disappointed

Spill the Beans is my favorite coffee shop downtown. In the mornings Ill have their oatmeal, and in the afternoons perhaps some ice cream or a milk shake. Beautiful views of Falls Park, comfy couches, and even local art on display. Defninetly one of my happy places.

Ice cream was very good. For the most part they kept the line moving. The 1 issue that seemed to have been happening with our group and other groups was what the menu really meant. We figured it should be a 2 step process. 1st) pick out your Ice cream flavor. Then 2nd) what you want in it. Stupid easy once you figure it out. Not the worst thing but enough to make things a bit easier.

Edit: I feel bad for complaining about something minuscule like the cup. I honestly just wanted to take a photo of it because it was delicious. The place was nice & the coffee was good. :) Thank you.

I have visited Spill the Beans multiple times and have always been provided great service and quality! I cant speak to how good their coffee is but boy is their ice cream amazing! I would definitely recommend visiting here on your way through downtown or to falls on the reedy!

The espresso milkshakes are pretty good if youre in the mood to spend that much money on a milkshake thats pretty similar to a Blizzard!

The decision to go with a local coffee shop over the S*bucks across the street was a VERY good decision!! Day one, tried two different beverages and both were superb! I had the mexican chocolate with 2 shots of espresso

I loved this coffee shop! The service was friendly and very quick! It is also a great place to study and love that it is right by falls creek park for a beautiful view. I am usually very picky about the coffee shops I go to, but this is my new favorite! The coffee is delicious and lactose intolerant friendly! I would say that parking is harder to find, and their are not a lot of outlets, and the bathrooms are not the cleanest, but it is my favorite coffee shop so far.

Love love love the strawberry ice cream, I always have! The shop is a nice place to work if you have emails to answer or homework to do. Short walk into falls park, so it’s a great stop for a good coffee or tea. Staff is always friendly and helpful. My only qualm is that they have a hard time keeping up when they get busy. The line can get very long and take a while to clear. Overall great shop!

Spill the beans provides a very chill environment. With natural sounds and smells that provide a great study environment with a pair of earbuds and a great place to hang out with your friends while grabbing a cup of your unique, or basic ice cream. Ten out of ten would recommend!

On a recent visit to Greenville, SC ( June 15), I wanted to make sure we made a visit to this coffee shop. We have always had great service, but this time something was wrong. Upon entering, no one was at the counter to take orders and the line was growing. Finally, someone came from the back area, eating something and never said sorry for the wait. Out came two more employees laughing and it hardly seemed like no one cared about their jobs or customers. The place was a mess: the floor, tables needed wiping and cleaning, the menu at the counter had food on it. Who is minding this place. Terrible experience and the next day, we went to a different coffee shop. The people you hire really make a difference in your business to some people.

It smelled transcendent...I had the levitation effect the whole time because it was clean, smelled great, and the workers were accommodating.

They made a keto coffee ice cream that was amazing ! Kids loved it very fun and modern.

The ice cream was good. The service was poor. Half our order was incorrect. When we told them we were missing part of the order they seemed annoyed. It wasnt until we were out of the store that we realized they were missing all the mix ins we paid for. They have your order up right in front of them. We werent asking for special treatment...just what we ordered and paid for.

Descent coffee. All coffees tasted about the same. Didnt rinse tools between drinks/ice cream.

Delicious drinks and ice cream in a perfect location. Whether you stay inside, or go out into falls park to enjoy it, its a wonderful option for a date, as long as you dont mind spending a little money.

Didnt mention that bagles were blueberry bagles, which is not a default and definitely not everyone likes it. And wanted to charge for tap water!!! Never ever been in another place that charges for tap water after you pay for drinks and food!

I will give them a small break because we went on midday Easter Monday, so it was extremely busy. But they were unable to make either a frozen hot chocolate nor a decaf blended coffee, and the drinks we did order were given to us only partially filled without lids either. Their variety isnt fantastic or unique, and the ice cream is just Mayfield brand. Not bad by any means, but not worth the price paid and the time waited in line.

Ice cream was so good! Tried one of their specials, cheesecake with black berries, delicious combo! Salivating just thinking back to it! They fluff it up with a screw like contraption that creates this airy-almost yogurt like consistency yet maintaining its ice-cream-ness. Delightful.

This place has a great atmosphere. Located right on the reedy river in downtown, in what used to be a textile mill it’s a great place with a lot of history to stop and grab a warm or cold drink depending on the season. The gelato appeared to be amazing, especially in chocolate dipped cones, and while the lattes were expensive they were delicious.

Every time were downtown Greenville, we always stop here for ice cream. We love it!

I use to love coming here with my family, theyve always been busy now their extremely understaffed it seems like and allllll of their stuff has gone down hill. Everything looks nasty, the stuff they store add ins in looks like it hasnt been washed in years.

I ordered the chai latte and espresso shake. They were soo good. This is a spacious place with a nice staff. Restrooms are for customers and were clean. This is a nice place to stop in if you are on a morning walk on the trail.

Nice cozy atmosphere right next to a beautiful park. Lots of flavor variety and the coffee both hot and iced were good. Great place to grab a cup then take a lovely walk through the park, especially nice in the Fall.

Im not one to usually write Google Reviews but how can I not after the tremendous pure bliss I felt when drinking the signature spillismo the beans coffee. I have never tried coffee that smooth and flavorful in my 25 years of existence. Heres to a future full of those wonderful beans spilling into my coffee orders.

Please improve your vegan options as well as the uncomfortable seating.The Clemson location is 100 times better.
