The excitement of getting your first super hero bear is unmatched with the step by step process to make him personally yours! My 3 kids all had their first build a bear at 2 years old and to be able to share that with your grandson at the same age is priceless! Theres no doubt that build a bear wil always be a special place in our family to make amazing memories!

Such a fun experience!! Im 30 years old, but that was my first time at Build-A-Bear! I enjoyed every minute!

We had been to 2 other build a bear locations before finding an open one in greenville. They only had one style of teddy bear that was not some type of licensed character and it was pink. My little girl was fine with pink but I feel bad for anyone looking for any type of traditional teddy bear.

I love stitch and he is my favorite Spirit and character and he is my favorite because I love stitch so much

There was a very limited amount of people allowed into the store so there was a long line to get in. I respect a businesses right to limit the number of people in their store in an effort to keep us safe (whatever that actually means anymore) but Im also not going to stand around and wait to go in. With the ridiculously low amount of people allowed in at once the store might as well have been closed, Ill come back when they have a more reasonable number of people in at once.

Not enough designs in the Haywood mall location. Was looking for a birthday present. Was very disappointed

I had an order online that I needed to get stuffed. I was immediately greeted by a staff member who was very helpful and friendly. I didnt have to wait at all and she started stuffing my online order without hesitation or issues. She asked if I wanted some of their extras (sounds, heartbeat, scents, etc) which I had missed while online. I didnt need anything extra, but it was nice to be asked. The whole process took about 5 minutes for the two Baby Yodas to get filled and sown. This was a free service because I had made the purchase online (product wasnt sold filled at the time). The store was very clean and organized and the staff was great!

Worst customer experience. I went there with my two year old son today. We waited at the entrance for 10 minutes due to extended Covid restrictions. Nobody cared and told us to come inside. After other customers went inside, we did as well. After another 20 minutes of ignoring us, a staff member asked if we were ready, I said yes, but got ignored. After 5 minutes another staff member asked a couple which came after us, if they were ready. They said yes and the staff member took care of their bear. The other staff member filled up some shelves while ignoring us and then left. We waited another 10 minutes, but nobody wanted to have our money. My little son was very sad that we had to leave the story without a bear, but I never experienced such a bad customer service. For that reason we left and won’t come back again.

We visited today as a reward for a hard medical appointment. The ladies were great with my son. They were pleasant and seemed to really love their jobs. I appreciated the attention given to my son after such a tough day. The customer service was fantastic. The store was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this location and we will definitely be back again.

** Warning Check Your Receipts BEFORE you LEAVE*** My daughters went in to purchase the buy one at $16.50, get another bear for $10.00. After the left, they realized they were overcharged. They were charged for (3) bears and paid $47.17 . They immediately called the store and explained, since the store was closing for the night, my daughter said she can come back tomorrow after school for the adjustment to my card and the cashier told her- Nah that wont be a good day, and was told someone would call her back, and then hung up on. When they got home and told me, the store will not pick up the phone, I have called 7 times today and no-one will answer, My daughter has never received a phone call back. They knew exactly what they were doing by over charging her !! Why wouldnt they correct the problem last night ? ** Warning Check your receipts ***

Normally when I go I enjoy being there, the staff is normally very helpful and welcoming and upbeat. Today the staff was acting like they didnt want any customers to come in they didnt want to help us. When we asked them questions they seemed put off that we asked any questions.

Store is larger and has more options than the one in my ton. Tons of bear options. Tons of clothes/accessories including Star Wars and other Disney properties.Tons of sounds and scents that can be added to the bear. Making the birth certificate is cute too. You can buy brushes for the bear, but that station is gone. Workers seemed to enjoy working here.

You cant go wrong at Build-A-Bear! Its my Granddaughters favorite store at the mall. We went specifically for the new Aladdin series and she found Jasmine! We got her complete outfit to include the hair, shoes, and crown! She is adorable! The staff are super friendly and great with children!

A great place to take children to be creative and bring their imagination to life. Also a great way to create something special and sentimental. But if you have a young child take them here to create their new friend and be amazed how happy and joyful they get!

It was great. Getting my baby another build a bear. Last time was Captain America this time batman. One lady was kinda rude but didnt mess it up for us.

If you like to create a stuffed animals this a place for you. They have character ones. From Pokemon to My Little Pony to Toothless. Be ready to spend a little bit of money.

Went in today with the $15 off coupon from the pay your age fiasco. Little one picked out her bear. And then we found out when it was about to be stuffed that it wasn’t included on the coupon. No huge deal, Thought about making the kiddo pick a different one, but her heart was set. When checking out I told the cashier “just a suggestion but it would be great if you put some type of sign on the ones not included so people could guide little ones before they got their heart set.” The cashier snapped at me and said. “It’s in the fine print of the coupon you should of read it”. Please note I wasn’t complaining. I had already paid. I was just making a suggestion. The review is not about not taking the coupon it’s about the poor attitude of the staff.

We walked in and where greeted by a friendly smiling face my kids loved it yes is a little high but well worth it they help pick a smell, a heartbeat and helped us make sure that the outfits would work. I would tell everyone to go if they have not been yet.

I got some real good sale deals. I was able to buy 6 bears for under $100.00. Since I was buying them to donate to Shriners Hospital the staff was super sweet to me.

Just spoke to a customer service rep as I was having trouble with my account. I was trying to find out how to get my child set up with a bear for his birthday month and I needed to make changes to my account. When I asked the customer service rep how to make the change he said in a very condescending tone “how do I know who I am speaking to”. Very poor customer service skills

The best experience my niece and nephew has ever had. So caring and loving toward the kids . the best worker that was there was Analilia I told all my friends and family to request her as the bear stuffer but she hasnt been there in a month or so. Hope you guys didnt fire her.We all loved her and all the excitement she brought to us from picked out to bear all the way to taking it home.

Such a cute place for kids. I think its a little pricey but its all about the experience of making your bear special.

My wife of 18 years had spoke of this place on numerous occasions when friends would take there kids, she had said that she always wanted to go when she was a little girl but her parents never had the money nor time with them living in Anderson. I took her out one day on the bike and mentioned I needed to stop by the mall to look for clothes, shoes etc... To her utter amazement an surprise I took her to build a bear, the look on her face was absolutley priceless, I never thought a teddy bear would move this beautiful women as it did but,,,, whether it was the bear or her husband that remembered her mentioning it in conversation with friends years ago it definitely made my day watching her turn into a little girl all over again even if it was only for an hour, we truly had a great experience....

The national “pay your age” day at the Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC was a terrible experience. No one thoroughly thought through crowd control or supply/demand. The mall cops were turning people away so these could control the crowd and then later passed out vouchers for $15 for the entire family vs. a bear per child.When Chik Fil A has their Appreciation Day you never here of them turning away people or running out of chicken.Such a disappointment!

I took off work in anderson,picked up my grandkids and drove to Greenville for a deal from build a bear to pay their age for a bear.we get there an hour early andwOhad to walk in one store and out through the other end of the mall to get in line and we were there by 845.we waited in line with all these grandkids for hours.come to find out they didnt buy enough bears,didnt set up lines.they had two lines merging,which wasnt fair.then they run out of bears and offer a coupon for 15 dollars off 1 bear for a each visit.you were supposed to be able to get a bear for each child with you and now they only allowing for 1 child per visit,this isnt fair.if this is how this place is run,it makes me glad that I wont be a customer.they messed up,they should offer you what the deal was when you come back,or at least the 15 dollars should be available to use for each child you have with you on the visit.that is a long way to drive to bring one child at a time,or for only a discount on one child and to have to pay full price on the other children.SHAME ON BUILD A BEAR.
