Clean well kept, always seem to have elevator and entry door issues though.

Our company has had a wonderful experience working with Extra Space Storage. We have had a unit at the Dunbar Street location for quite some time now, and we have found the staff to be so kind and extremely helpful over the years. Sandy, especially, has been a pleasure to work with. She has always made sure that everyone is well informed of any changes that were to occur, and made sure we were told of them well in advance of implementation. If you need a place to store anything, this has been/is a great location!

I’m extremely happy with my experience leasing a storage unit with Extra Space over the last year. The building was always clean and security seems very good. The climate control was always within the specs they told me when I initially met with them. The staff was also always pleasant, efficient, and helpful. I highly recommend this storage facility.

Staff is courteous and my belongings were safe and secure for six months. However, policies are designed to rip customers off. I was auto-charged the full monthly rate in spite of moving out on the 4th of the month (having given more than 30 day notice), and the company policy is that they don’t issue refunds. Similarly, I was forced to buy a month of their renter’s insurance in order to obtain the space (at an exorbitant rate) and was not refunded when I provided proof of renter’s insurance through my insurance company.

I recently rented two storage units with the help of Aleisha in the front office. I cannot say enough good things about her service in getting this completed. She goes above and beyond in every way imaginable. Life Storage is lucky to have her as part of their team.

I had called the office to discuss The rental process because I will be moving to SC soon. The manager gave me all the information I needed to make a good decision. She was informative, polite, respectful, as well as professional. I will definitely recheck with this site as and manager upon me confirming my move.

Extra space made storage so easy for me . Its clean, safe and secure. Not one issue the whole year that I rented . All of my things were still in the same condition as the first day of storage . Would definitely use again and i highly recommend this facility.

Reasonable rates, awesome service, and fast/painless to get a unit rented. The digital signatures and emailing of contracts, etc. was nice too.

The premises and the units are very clean and everything is well kept. The staff is nice and professional. If the monthly rent goes up they send you notices in advance. Easy checkout. One time the elevator went out and the emergency service people got us out of the elevator in less than 3 minutes. Over all I am very pleased with their services.

I’ve called for over hour, and show up, she says I’ve been walking the building. For over an hour?! I’ve also left voicemails.The girl working the front desk was also here when it was extra space. She is TERRIBLE!Horrible people skills.

Nice facility but Ive been having issues with the customer service part of this storage unit. I have a 10×10 space and its leaking from somewhere EVERY TIME IT RAINS. I have spoken to someone twice about this situation and the lady said that she would leave a note for the manager. HERE IT IS A MONTH LATER. RAINING AGAIN AND I HAVE TO PAY TO MOVE.... REALLY... This is unacceptable because I had damage to some clothes and shoes but since I didnt know what it was at the time I just washed everything thinking it was from something of mine or something that the mover did. When i realized it was from the ceiling I reported it. Instead of them moving me to another unit they want me to file a claim with the insurance company and for what because you want to charge me $40 Extra in order for me to move. Please just move me and fix the damn ceiling. Easy right? Not.... Still no call from anyone. I did call the 800 number so maybe they can fix this problem before it RAINS AGAIN

Fantastic service today, extremely efficient, clean and exactly what I needed. The storage has been in place 3 years with the same manager. She is absolutely fabulous! Thank you so very much for making packing up and moving less stressful.

Ive been looking for a reasonable storage place and was about to give up and a friend seen this place, I looked them up online and seen they had great online rates and reserved! I liked that Sandy the manager within minutes of my reservation called me to confirm and to answer any questions I had! I came in to view the unit which I wasnt sure what size I may need and Sandy was great, she showed me each size and the units were very clean and well lit! Sandy also thoroughly explained the terms and everything to me even with examples in which I loved! She made it a very quick trip and decision! I would recommend to friends and family! Also the area isnt bad at all I grew up in this parts and it has definitely came a long way!

This is a really nice, new looking facility with pretty good climate control inside. Friendly staff that are happy to help however they can. Small wheely carts are openly available for use to help get stuff moved quicker and easier. The only downside to using this location is that depending on what unit you rent it can be pretty inconvenient to move items in and out through all the hallways inside or on the upper floors via the elevator.Just for anyone who might want to know, it is possible to move pallets through the hallways and around the corners, just have to take it slow and careful.

I actually was just called on a service call to replace a few exit signs/ lights. Sandy Mott @ the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Got work done and lights are working great. A pleasure to work for this company.

I had a problem with my lock, so I asked the lady at the office if she could cut it. The lady was really nice and she took 20 minutes out of her time to help me with my issue. This place is awesome! I was hesitant to set up the reservation because of the area of town the building is in. It is extremely clean and the customer service was great. The building is well-lit and they even play music! Highly recommend.

I sent a relative here and she had a wonderful experience renting a unit. The manager there, I believe her name is Sandy, was a peach. She was very nice, very attentive to her job and well knowledgeable. She didnt skip a beat. My aunt thought she needed one size unit and was very adamant about it and Sandy immediately knew the spacing wouldnt work. Good thing my aunt ended up listening because it would have been a big inconvenience packing up a storage only to need more space. I recommend this site because, when people know their stuff it helps the ones who dont 😅, plus, because of the great customer service. Keep up the great work 👍

Unable to pay bill on the new website since the switchover from Extra Space Storage. The phone number on this business listing is disconnected and the toll free corporate number for Life Storage doesnt work! Looks like this location got a new name, but is up to the same old garbage.

I have been dealing with this facility for over 2 years and I must say customer service has gone down drastically. ... and the monthly rate sky rockets the longer you are with them. I spoke with manager Sandy to ask about getting it reduced and she said they dont reduce the price and that Ive only gone up twice, from $172 to $267.... ONLY .... thats a car payment and being that I work out of town and they can no longer draft my payments off of my prepaid card, its always late. So thats late fees on top of the rediculous monthly rate.Im moving out as I type this review. do yourself a favor and take your things els where
