The team at Two Men And A Truck handled all aspects of our recent long distance move in a timely and professional manner. To provide a quote, we completed a virtual walk-through that was followed up with a personal visit. We were on a tight schedule, and the movers arrived on time to load the truck. Most of our belongings were already packed in boxes, but the furniture was carefully wrapped in pads or plastic. The two men kept us posted as to their arrival and started unpacking immediately. Once again, they were very efficient and all contents were moved to the requested locations. From the sales and admin agents to the movers, all personnel were super easy to deal with. Every one had a positive attitude and willingness to help. Highly recommended!
Perfect experience! We needed help moving several large, heavy pieces of furniture in our home, including up the stairs. I was able to get help the very next days, they were here when they said they would be and the movers were absolutely fantastic. Courteous, friendly, and picked up the furniture like a gallon of milk, smooth, no bumps, just up, over and out. Without a doubt recommend them.
Received a quote on 22 June with several quick responses to questions asked.29 June decided to accept the quote given on 22 June. Customer service said that date was no longer available and informed me 2 August was available. I agreed on that date and requested to know what need to happen next. I was told no deposit necessary and would receive a confirmation for 2 August.I never received the confirmation. I should have questioned this and take partial blame for this disconnect.I reached back out to customer service and they initially acted as if they were trying to correct the issue. After days of no returned calls or emails it became evident that they would not be helping. I even reached out to the corporate office and received little assistance. My job has me living/working in Afghanistan and Two Men and a Truck left my 7 months pregnant wife and two younger kids hanging in the lurch. I do give them two stars only because I ended up saving THOUSANDS (with an S) by using Uhaul and hiring movers through that company. Thank you Two Men and a Truck for keeping money in my pocket.
Malcolm, Shaquan, Ray and Adam were awesome! Speedy and punctual. Helped us move lots of heavy furniture to 3 separate locations (one on 3rd floor with no elevator) in super humid and hot weather. Also price was even lower than quoted. Cannot speak more highly of these young men.
The moving crew called in advance to let me know they were on the way. They started work immediately. Did not take a break for 3 hours. All furniture and boxes were delivered safely. The men were very knowledgeable about how to pack the truck most efficiently. They were polite and courteous and a joy to work with. GREAT JOB!
I was so pleased with Two Men and a Truck. The office staff was responsive and communicated all along the way. The moving team of Rain and Darius were professional, neat, focused, and very careful with all aspects of the move. They were on time, packed the truck to maximize space and protect the items moving. I could not have been happier with the quality of work.
Awesome experience! Our movers were efficient and professional. Great customer service from Justin as well.
The 2 gentlemen that helped me move was Donta Whitehurst & Donta Braxton. They provided instructions on what they were going to do, very informative, respectful, and courteous. I would definitely recommend these 2 guys any time I need a goodol move.
Rain & Malcom were awesome and took care of everything like true professionals. Would recommend 10/10.
Everything was awesome from sales through visual home inspection to gentlemen that made the move happen. Charles, Roger, and Willie were amazing. Wide open all day... They delivered and placed furniture in my new home. Fantastic. Highly recommend. Price was reasonable quality of work outstanding.!
This was a simple move as our storage unit was very near our home. The moving team did such a Great Job. It made life so simple and easy for us. From their personalities to their professional service, they did what was expected and with speed and exemplary service. They left us with no worries about the move being completed and not one item was broke! They come highly recommended by us.
Two Men and a Truck did a great job! The movers were polite and professional. They took care of our items. They went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. The office staff worked through a few snafus to make sure our job was completed in a timely manner. They even moved a very heavy item that we thought couldn’t be moved. I’d definitely hire Two Men and a Truck again.
Two Men and a Truck made my moving experience so easy! From the first call, to the estimate, to the actual move itself, every aspect was top-notch! The estimate and final price were within $100 of each other. Dantes team was energetic, polite, and fun! No one enjoys moving, but Two Men and a Truck made it better!
6 stars first day hectic second day hectic and long .. promote Duke, Tay, and Shaq .. thanks ..
Deonta W and his crew moved my mother (Ramona) this past weekend in New Bern. This crew was positive, energetic, professional, personable and very hard working. When they pulled up in the yard it was like the Four Horsemen! I was more than impressed with the work ethic and attention to detail. Deonta W is a natural leader and runs a dynamite crew! I would hire these guys again.***Management***. Please make sure these guys are acknowledged for the great job.
This is the second time I have used Two Men and a Truck. Had a super experience both time. Brian the estimator was great and Marlin the lead mover was very polite and helpful. The guys worked so hard and we were pleased with the results. Thank you, Two Men.
The gentlemen were on time, quick and took care of our stuff like it was their own. Very respectable guys. Would definitely recommend.
I have used this company to move 3 times now. They are great! For my latest move, Marlon and JaQuan were the 2 men. They were very responsive and careful and fast. I hope I dont have to move again any time soon, but if I did, I would use this company and request Marlon and JaQuan!
Movers were courteous and professional. Took pains to not cause damage is reassembled all furniture. Very patient. Very good.
We cant speak highly enough of Brian, Charles and Ronner! Beginning with Brians promptness and responsiveness to our initial request they were all great! Charles and Ronner are miracle workers! They are quick, efficient, friendly and respectful! If we ever move again, we would call and request this Team!
We recently moved from Greenville to Jacksonville and used Two Men and a Truck out of Greenville primarily to move all our furniture. They did a fantastic job for a very fair price! They did everything just as they said they would, wrapping each piece and carefully loading it onto the truck. Nothing was damaged or broken. They were able to place everything in our new home just where we needed it. They were very communicative and friendly and actually seemed to have a little fun doing their jobs, which made what is a high-stress situation a little easier and more bearable. We highly recommend this crowd to help you with a local or long distance move!
We had a big job with lots of changes and moving parts. The Two Men and a Truck team handled everything professionally, and exactly to our needs. These guys are very punctual, careful, fast and efficient. If you need movers you can rely on, look no further.
Great company! Family oriented environment while maintaining a very professional service! They take pride in all that they do!
Two men and a truck took the stress out of our move. Every person we worked with was hard working, diligent and efficient. They worked so quickly that they saved us money since the company charges by the hour. I will always use 2 men and a truck for all my moves. I highly recommend them!
These guys were super!!! Great service and super price. I will never move myself again. Great attention to detail and worked fast too.Customer service above the rest. Super knowledgeable in taking apart couch and beds. Scheduling was easy and office staff were marvelous!!!!
We had a very good experience with this team. It was raining off and on as well as they had to work around pressure washer and window washing team. They remained pleasant and assured me it would all work out. I havent unpacked yet but they were very careful with our items and they were packaged well from what I see so far. I will use them again.
Was very pleased with the service provided. The movers were very sensitive to the quality and care of my items. Would definitely recommend to others and definitely use them again!!
Marlon and Will were an excellent moving team and were very easy to work with. Their communication with me the day of the move was helpful and their punctuality was outstanding. I appreciated how fast they worked and how quickly my move was completed. Their effort saved us time and money. I would highly recommend this moving team. My interaction with the office staff was also a good experience.
We would highly recommend them for your moving needs. They contact you to let you know they are on their way, which is great. They are professional and personable. They worked efficiently as well. Very affordable too.
This was the 2nd time my wife and I have used these guys to move us. The first time they moved us there was a slight mishap when they damaged the wall with their hand truck. Not two days later a supervisor was out to patch, sand, and paint. Fast forward now two years and we moved out of that house, the guys were professional, fast, and hard-working. They disconnected the washer and dryer and what was even better, when having difficulty reattaching the dryer (out of no fault of his own) he erred on he side of caution and not damaging someone elses property. We are moving in another 5-6 months and will be calling TMAAT to ask for the same crew.Well...Here I am reviewing them yet again. Of the crew we had the last time, one of the guys was there. Instead of Two Men and a Truck it was Three Men and a Truck because of the size of the move and they worked hard and fast. They packed and unpacked their truck within 6 hours and took 30 min for lunch. They were personable, polite (always sir and maam), and willing to do anything extra. They were well-deserving of their tip. Id recommend them to anyone.
They did a fantastic work... Quoted me for what they thought it would be and got it done way quicker so ended up being less than half the price. Professional and nice.
It was our first experience with the company, a few years ago and they were hired to unload our PODS. Even after one of our Pods was dropped on its side and all our items had been shuffled around they did a great job unloading all our things. They made our move so much easier and we will be using them again in our next move. Can not overstate how hard they worked and how nice they were.
The six person group packing the house was very unprofessional and it took them seven hours to do a three bedroom house (which was already boxed and packed). They were inconsiderate and sloppy. Walls and floors were damaged, and their mess was all over the house.
The guys were great. Very professional, competent, and polite. There was a little SNAFU, and a second truck was needed and the movers worked late (both days) without complaint. I would use you on any future move I might have and I certainly would recommend you. (I already have with my friends). The staff was also very accommodating and responsive.Thank you all for a job well done.
A very poor experience with this company. They grossly misquoted me. When I called to have it corrected, the customer service rep was borderline rude and had no cares about it. They stated I was informed about the fee but I have the paperwork and email quote. I will use U-Haul next time for sure, they have a moving service and great prices instead, they are even available on Sundays.Update- they offered to split the fee with me.I accepted but feel upset I was wronged to begin with. I especially feel upset the attitude was that, I was wrong, not them. Word choice and attitude can say a lot about your company.
Quick and hardworking. Values and takes great care of your things! highly recommend!
These guys put 4rh a superhuman effort, really impressive!
Cam is one of the hardest working men I’ve ever met! He is extremely strong, neat, organized & courteous! He and his crew do a terrific job making a daunting task like relocating as easy as possible! Thanks for your hard work!!!
Cam and Trevan were complete professionals and did an amazing job with my move. They were fast, efficient, and wonderful to work with. They made my move easy and made it a great experience! Highly recommend 2 men and a truck and if you’re fortunate enough to have these two as your movers then it will be pain free and easy! Thanks again!
Two Men and a Truck were awesome! The movers were so friendly and easy to work with. They made the process of moving my furniture so smooth. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future if I need to move again.
I am SO thankful for Two Men and a Truck. My first interaction with the company was when Brian came to my house to do a walk-through so that he could give an accurate quote for moving all the things in my house from NC to Chicago. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgable and patient (I asked a lot of questions). And he quickly replied to my emails/texts when questions came up before the move. Charles and Curtis were my two-man crew. They packed all the things in my house. I mean, ALL THE THINGS. The pantry. The wall decor. The furniture. Then they loaded all the things. They drove all the things 800+ miles. Then they unloaded all the things. Then they unpacked all the things. All of this was during a heat wave -- both in NC and in Chicago. And the entire time, they were friendly with smiles on their faces. They were also very kind as I was worried that they wouldnt be able to find adequate parking in front of our Chicago apartment so they came an hour early! And while we had the dog and our 10-month old out of the house in NC while Charles and Curtis were packing and loading, the dog and 10-month old were in our Chicago apartment during the unloading and unpacking and Charles and Curtis were SO PATIENT with them and me as I tried to keep them out of the way. I just cant say enough good things about my experience with Two Men and a Truck!! I would use them again in a heartbeat if/when we move again.
Ive never seen such care taken with furniture, boxes and everything I owned. There was not one scratch on the furniture or floors (old home and new home each has hardwood floors) and nothing was broken. Both men were polite, congenial, and focused on the job. They surpassed every expectation and I would use them again AND recommend them in a flash.
This team was excellent!! Would highly recommend their services!!
Justin and Charles were excellent moving men! Got everything moved and we had fun dealing with some minor issues. Ashlee and Michael made all the preparation smooth and easy as well!
Incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. I had shopped around for movers and they were the best price, too! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for help with a move.
They showed up within the first 5 minutes of the arrival window. Went over the rules/regs thoroughly. Wrapped every piece of furniture and were very careful when moving all pieces. Moved with a quick pace but not to fast that mistakes were made. Double checked with me to make sure they got everything i needed. Would definitely use them again.
The moving crew worked relentlessly to get the job done. Crew were very polite and friendly.
I used Two Men and a Truck twice this summer. The first time, I was impressed and left a positive review. Unfortunately, my second experience with this company has spoiled that and I will not be using them in the future, nor will I recommend them to others. Shortly after my move was completed, I noticed my vacuum was not in my apartment. Assuming it had been left on the truck by mistake, I called the office right away and asked them to check the truck. I received a call back later and was told that the movers “remembered” moving the vacuum into my apartment and remembered seeing it in the living room. The only problem with this is that it was not in my apartment (not in the living room, not anywhere). I called once again and asked them to double check the truck. Again, I was told the same thing— the movers remembered moving the vacuum and remembered seeing it in the living room. I was told a manager would check the truck again and follow up with me but still have not received a call. Can’t help but feel like I’ve been ripped off here.Update: A few days after my move, I called the storage facility I used on the off chance they had seen it. The vacuum ended up being found by an employee the day of my move in the hallway of the facility. So, not only did it not end up in my living room, it never made it onto the truck. I understand that mistakes happen. But not once in any of my contact with TMAAT did they ever consider that the mistake was on their part. Instead, I had three days’ worth of back and forth with their office where they told me the same (false) story. I was made to feel like it was my fault. And then I ended up having to do all of the “investigative” work to get my vacuum back. Beyond frustrating experience.
I am thoroughly disappointed in this outfit’s customer service. The movers were in a haste to pack my desk, and once I unwrapped their ceram wrap, they packed the top of my shelf so tightly from the rest of my desk that it got all scratched up! Even my friends who visited me the day after my move were first to note what a botched up job they did with my desk. Before they begin their service, they make you fill out a bunch of paperwork that you would almost believe you are signing up for life insurance which would make you believe most damage would be covered. I filled out a damage report two weeks ago and they finally came today to inspect my premise for scratches. I also included in my damage report the fact that they broke the birthday present my mom got for me, which I packed on the TOP of the box and was not working after I moved. The problem with them is they do such a fast job that they don’t pay any attention whether certain toiletries are fragile, and you don’t have the time to inspect how they are loading the truck. In any case, the manager gave me the run around that since I packed my moms gift (a cleaner for my teeth myself), they are not responsible so don’t believe for a minute most of your stuff would be covered. I spent over $400 moving my stuff next door, and I tipped the mover separately over $100. You would think that a company that advertises so heavily and claims that they would be more oriented to customer retention. Instead, they offers me a $40 check for the damage that was caused to my $358 table, but in any case, I will not be seeing them again.
Just hire this business and dont worry!Ive had many movers over the years, and these folks are wonderful! They handle even the most difficult items with care, and I couldnt have been happier! On budget, on time, and great attitudes from each person involved!Quit searching for movers, and hire Greenvilles Two Men and a Truck!
Gonna use them. Dont have a date yet.
Two men and a truck are the way to move..We have moved many times, would hate to count them. These guys are top notch pros no bs . Clean polite respectful. Work at a good pace and treat your furniture with care. Woud not use any other Movers. Five stars
I would recommend Two Men and a Truck for your moving needs. I have used them several times and have been delighted with the process.
Waiting for a call back
A wonderful company to work with. Have used them twice so far. Timely, efficient, careful, And reasonably priced!!!
They came showed them a hole at front door which was patched, they removed three boxes supposed to seen rat boop and would not continue. We did Not see rat dropping . Then they should showed us the rat boop, I am an older person with serious illness if it was unsafe I would NOT allowed them there. DO NOT USE THEMI would not recommend these folks to anyone.
The men were very professional. They arrived on time and walked me through the entire process. While I don’t plan on moving anytime soon, I will utilize this company again when the time comes.
They never answered their phones or emailed me back.
Two men and a Truck care to move the office in my house for my former boss. They created damage to my wall, I was told they would be in contact. I didnt hear anything, I called was told someone would call me the following Monday. I have not heard from anyone as of yet. Perhaps the review will get a response.
The gentlemen were on time, professional and did a great job! Would recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone and will use them for any future moves!
Oh My! We are sooo appreciative to the Greenville TMAAT Crew, including the administration/management with Ms Denise Draughn and associates as well as the movers! My husband’s mother recently passed and we were privileged to receive her dining table and chairs in our home to continue family memories and gatherings around the precious heirloom. David’s grandmother had crafted the chair covers with her intricate needlepoint several years ago and with his mother bringing family and friends throughout his childhood and beyond around that table and chairs to break bread together and create cherished memories...like this collection of furniture is very sentimental to family....The movers took such care...David was blown away by them wrapping the individual chair/table legs just to transport it across town but they informed him that it is standard practice to take care of furniture with quality service. We felt they went above and beyond before they even knew the sentimental significance of the situation, The TMAAT Crew were very professional yet personable from start to end of transaction. We are delighted to know of a local moving company that intentionally invests in the quality of service, when moving for any number of reasons can be a very significant moment to a family. We give thanks!
Professional service at a fair price.
Worth the steepish price because they were very friendly and took great care of my belongings.
This is the short version because I exceeded the character limit:Note: Due to the distance, cost of the move itself was calculated based on weight of the items, rather than man hours. We were very deliberate when we chose a moving company. We had 4 different companies come to give us a quote to both pack and move us. The representative from Two Men and a Truck was by far the most professional, which is why we chose them. They came day 1 to pack, but left after 4 hours with the job not finished and no explanation. We were told that while we should be there while they packed in case they had questions, we did not need to be there while they loaded. Based on that, we scheduled our closing while they were at our previous house. They were scheduled to arrive between 2-3 but did not arrive until nearly 6. Nearly an hour into unloading I learned that they had not been able to load some items, including an area rug and my daughters mattress. The next day, when we went back to clean and prep for the closing, the back door was completely open and the house was a disaster. Garbage and possessions littered nearly the entire house, including ALL of my rugs, toys, an electric toothbrush, as well as items that had simply been overlooked and were still in the cabinets (including my kitchen aid, bread machine, and crockpot).I called the company and the manager of operations came within an hour and a half, and had the same crew come out to load the rest of the items that had been left behind. (Please note, we were paying them over $100/hour to pack and had not set a cap.I took a video of how the house looked, and ended up sending it to Denise who is the General Manager for the area. She indicated that it would be used for training purposes to train their staff. I worked with her, and she ended up reimbursing the fee for half of the packing hours. She indicated that she was also not going to charge us for the weight of the items brought the second day.During the second day of packing, their motto was apparently to use as many (very expensive) wardrobe boxes as possible, and to just dump everything in them. For example, in one box, a small safe was dumped on top of priceless salt-dough handprints, breaking them. In another, small drill bits and other tools were dumped from containers into a wardrobe box full of wood.We received an apology and small refund equaling less than 10% of the total move.Takeaway and final thoughts1. We had an estimate and they looked at our belongings. They estimated that it was 6,500 lbs. The actual total was over 9,000, not including the items brought in the second load. An accurate estimate makes a HUGE difference in the final cost of a move.2. We did not treat our movers poorly. On both days we provided a stack of snacks, and cold drinks in the refrigerator. We also provided dinner because they were there so late unpacking. We also tipped them generously when they finished unloading (the first time).3. I know there were things I could have done differently. I should have clarified why they did not finish packing the first day as promised. I should have also made sure we had someone there to do a final walk through when they were finished loading the truck, and probably arranged someone to oversee the second day of packing. I also should have been more active in ensuring that all of the boxes got to the appropriate locations.4. I dont remember specifically how much they charge for wardrobe boxes they provide, but wardrobe boxes at Lowes are $11, compared to less than $2 for a large box. We have 10+ wardrobe boxes that should have been packed into smaller boxes, including several boxes we provided but they did not use.
Google will only let us type so many characters. This is connected to the one my husband wrote. Please see his review on google as well. Two Men showed up the following day to deliver our very very expensive sofa. They made it to the front door. We had just spent $1200 getting just our front door repaired. The men decided they would remove our front door, against us telling them not to, in order to not damage it any further. They sit our corner section of our sectional on the front porch and removed the packaging. the movers decided they would try to take the legs off of our sofa. We immediately spoke up and told them that the legs are NOT designed to be removed from it. The legs are screwed on and the fabric bottom cover is stapled in place to the legs. We inspected further only to realize that all the sofa repairs had NOT been completed. When Two Men removed our sofa from our home to carry it to Hickory NC to the manufacturer for repairs they had removed the legs and ripped the staples out. They did NOT make the manufacturer aware of this so they had done more damage to our sofa when removing it from our home. We refused to take delivery of our furniture until it was repaired to like new condition that it was in when they first touched it 2.5 months ago. The movers agreed and placed the corner piece back in the truck. They returned to my front door to re-install my front door. Please remember that we had ask them to NOT remove it to start with and we had just spent $1,200 making the repairs to the door that Two Men had damaged at their first visit to our home. The one guy holds the door slightly crooked while the 2nd guy takes a power drill and sinks the bottom screw in very forcefully with the drill. I hear a crack and instantly know they have damaged my door yet again. I stopped them and ask that they use the drill to run the screws down 2/3 of the way and then use a screw driver to complete the install. They did as I ask. Upon completion we looked at the door and sure enough they had damaged my door yet again. The wood was cracked where he used the powered drill on that first screw and the wood splintered off. So here we are today, March 16 with a newly damaged door and no sofa yet. Not to mention we have yet to see their repair guy show up and compete the other damages. We have very very expensive furniture. Just about EVERY piece was damaged in some way or fashion during this entire process. The door and sofa being the absolute worst. All other items were scratched or scuffed. We dont know what to expect from this situation now. We stand behind our reviews 100%. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR HOME AND FURNITURE DESTROYED AND THEN HAVE TO LIVE THROUGH A NIGHTMARE DEALING WITH THEM FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS.
Very professional and competent team who made a stressful day into a smooth move. I will use again!
Nice and helpful
