I recommend PC Sound of Greenville to anyone in the area in need of gear and techs. They are armed to the teeth with knowledge of all instruments and items on the floor. They go above and beyond your needs to satisfy your musical and audio visions. Alex and Aaron are a great combo together. I hope PC will keep them both for extended tenures. Alex is the guitar tech genius and Aaron is the master of keys. Unlike other music stores in town these 2 greet you like an old best friend when you enter the store. Other guitar and music shops will treat you like an after thought when you are in the building. Seemingly careless of whether they get your business or not. If you want your business valued, then your musical needs are at PC Sounds. Dont go anywhere else in Greenville.

A few months back, I came in with someone and asked if the store could spare a box for a bass since me and the person I was with needed one. At first, I was treated with a very nice store associate who did a good job helping us and I commend him for being professional. But it all goes downhill with, who I assume is the either the manager and/or owner. He was extremely disrespectful about the fact that we needed a box. The associate went to the back to ask him what to do. We waited a solid 5 minutes, and all I heard was him rambling. The associate came back and showed us the box, and said that it’ll cost $10. To which the owner/manager replied in the most rude tone of voice “15 for a bass box!” We weren’t bothered by the fact that the box cost money (even though $15 is a couple dollars too much in my opinion), I felt attacked by this owner/manager, as if he had a personal vendetta against us despite the fact that we have never met before in our lives. I’m almost convinced he was offended by the fact that we asked for a box and told the associate to charge a lot of money just to scare us from taking his precious boxes. We refused and walked away, not necessarily because of the price (which in my personal opinion was too much), but primarily because we felt hated and unwanted by the vile look and tone of voice of the manager and/or owner. The second star is for the nice associate who helped us. As long as that manager and/or owner is there, I’ll never set foot in that place again!

Brought my guitar in to replace the pickups and get a set-up, and only gave great things to report. Their guitar tech, Donnie (sorry if the spelling is wrong), was professional and confident about the job getting done right. It was ready earlier than expected, and sounds amazing. Very affordable for the work that had to be done to make the new set work. Great all around experience, and I will be back for my next guitar fix.

Good prices, nice employees. Theyre all pretty knowledgable. I had my guitar set up just the other day, which unfortunately I was not too satisfied with. I had a full set up done (action, intonation, string change and pickup height adjusted) everything was perfect, neck straight and everything, the action was just set way too low. My bass end strings buzz and slap so loud when I play that I cant hear my amp over the guitar. Which you would think Just turn up your amp, but sadly I live in an apartment with pretty thin walls and Id rather not disturb the neighbors. Other than that small qualm, the store is great and Id recommend itEdit - changed my review to 5 stars instead of 4. I was promptly called by Donny after I left my original review. I brought my guitar back in and he rectified my slight qualm with my guitars action. He tailored the guitar to my personal preference for no extra charge because they offer a satisfaction guarantee on their services (which is very awesome). My original review still stands that its a great store with great employees

I had no clue what I was looking for when my daughter wanted a new guitar and other random accessories. I decided to go to PC Sound and cannot say enough about the knowledge and customer service of the guys there. Jody and Gene (I believe those were their names) were both so incredibly helpful and clearly know everything about the items in the store and the items needed to accompany my purchase. Thank you Jody and Gene...I will definitely be returning for future gifts for my daughter and husband, and will definitely refer my friends and family to PC Sound

My family has had a great experience at PC sound in Greenville. My son was buying his first guitar and they were very helpful in finding us the best fit for him. They were helpful in working out lessons that we now take at the store. All the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I went in to buy a guitar strap. I found one I liked at a cost of $47.00. I asked to try it out on a guitar and was informed that I could not do that. I explained that I didnt want to purchase a strap at this price without trying it on to see how it felt. I was basically told to bad. the salesman did not even have the courtesy to look at me while I was talking to him. I replaced the strap on the wall and left. No have a nice day or good by from them...I give their customer service a F-....They lost a sale and a future customer. I will go back to Red Phish Music, they are a lot friendlier..

I went there Feb.6 of 19. I told them up front I would not buy from them simply because I am from out of town. Guess what....I was recieved very well and with respect. I asked several questions and got good answers. A very good selection of guitars, amps etc.

I have bought several items from this store; including a bass guitar along with strings for every instrument I own. Plus stands and straps. Every time I go in the staff is pleasant and very knowledgeable. Always willing help give advice if need be or just show you whats new in the music industry.I will only be going to this store from now on.

Ive been a long term customer here, and I tried to return an unopened item after one week. Evidently they have a 3 day return policy that I was not aware of. The fact that the box was unopened didnt matter. No exceptions evidently, and they were rather rude about it. Ill be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

The most helpful fair local music store around in Greenville, NC. They can match all online music guys and have most of what you need in stock or can get it for you.Main point is their advice is unbiased and invaluable

Aaron speaks to customers like they are idiots. In fact he said I probably felt like an idiot after taking to him. I guess customer service is a lost art thats been replaced with ego and smart remarks. I will NOT be shopping there again.

Absolutely horrible place, i dont think the employees understand that people who come in might buy something, because they certainly dont treat you like you have the slightest competence to do so. I was looking behind a keyboard and a couple of amps to see what kind of inputs the keyboard can support, and an employee yells across the room, Hey, you cant do that, youre gonna break something. thats why we get someone to assist you. Even if i was doing anything potentially harmful to the equipment, it was in no sense an appropriate way to address a customer. also, personally i hate when sales reps hound you, as they are usually more eager for you to buy a product than they are knowleadgable about what theyre selling. Apparently this option is unavoidable at this dump. as the employee was walking away i said im sorry, to which the employee turned back and snapped back with a What was that? At that point i left the store with no intentions of ever returning. please, save yourself the headache and avoid this establishment, they represent everything today that is wrong with the music industry.
