The staff here were really helpful and always trying to give their customer service an assist. Got really good experience shopping here.
This store needs a major overhaul. The entrance and the back of the store smell like sour milk and dirty mops: to get that smell at the back of ones throat while shopping for dairy and eggs is truly unpleasant. The store feels cramped and oddly laid out: I know theyre trying to fit a big store into limited space, but I think its time for a deep cleaning and a fresh, new design.
Great store. Pick up from Amazon is sometimes slow though especially inside.
Nice and clean, just wish they were more stocked and had more of a variety of alcohol..
Its ok, but I expected more since Greenwich is such a wealthy area. The one in Port Chester is by far the best one around lower Westchester and lower CT.
I usually buy their whole grain pizza crust and the organic sauce to make pizza at home, parking can be tough on weekends. I also like their whole wheat bagels. The organic tortillas are good too. Bring your whole paycheck to shop at whole foods.
Went here to get a few things. It mostly went okay but they had to get something for signing and it was a little hard. Overall its good though.
As far as an amazon drop location goes its awesome
Convenient and good quality. Generally is crowded but not today
This Whole Foods Market is an excellent service to the community. Theatmosphere is quite pleasant. They offer everything that the other locations offer; however, this location falls short on parking availability. During lunch hours, parking could be very scarce. This review was written to be helpful to you, the patron/consumer; and, to also bring relevant information to the attention of the business in focus. Quality dependable food. On the expensive side. Always crowded unless go early .
Personnel at Danbury customer service frequently discourteous. Produce is good quality & try to buy weekly sale items
The staff is great, but this WF location is way too cramped and limited compared to other WF locations we’ve been to. If WF had gas station convenience shops, this would be an example. It’s often packed to the point that it’s incredibly difficult and uncomfortable to navigate around. It’s a constant traffic jam of people, carts, and employees restocking shelves (which is fine, they have to restock, but they take up a lot of room in a tiny space). The selection of products and food is also severely limited compared to other WFs we’ve visited, and the hot bar and pizza are extremely sub par. We try to go to the bigger and better Portchester location, but it’s significantly further away. The cramped parking lot is also a total cluster eff. We hope WF can find a larger location in the Greenwich area, because we dread going to this WF location, which is the closest and most convenient for us.
Always a nice place to shop. Always customer friendly but can be pricey
Update 2/23/18The salad and hot bar are disgusting. Look at the dried, precut produce and old lasagna. It’s like this every day. Amazon needs to do something about this or more people will head down the street to Citarella.Message to Whole Foods: If you dont expect something in the hot bar to sell quickly, then use a smaller pan so it doesnt all dry up. Cut fresh vegetables to stock your salad bar. Stop using bagged carrots/onions/beets/etc. Dont serve something you wouldnt eat!!! Take PRIDE in what you do.
Tightly packed. May as well be in Manhattan. Awful beer selection . Employees are very nice and helpful, but there just isnt enough space here for a proper whole foods. If you are going to pay too much for your groceries and further enrich Jeffy, it will be a more pleasant experience if you do it at the Whole Foods in Rye.
Good selection, well run, friendly people, fast checkout. High prices. Can’t have everything.
1 of 2 wholefoods in CT I go.. food seems fresh and get in and out quickly
Not many things can make me happy as to see fresh fruits just waiting there for me to add them to my cart. They have good fruits (Most of them) and they have most of the products I like.
Good market, but product line could be more varied. Other Whole Foods have a wider selection.
We have always considered Whole Foods Market to be one of the best places for groceries that will be fresh. I know they are not cheap, but I am totally fine with paying more and get the best quality.
Great has literally everything you could think of before covid was a little crowded but now is better the employees are also very kind
I bought regular Kale, the woman cashier charged it as organic Kale. She is dishonest!
Great supermarket,right down town greenwich
Its whole foods, what more do you want lol. They dont have real cereal brands. Pretty weird when the cashier asks for your prime login, like whats next? Facebook info for starbucks? Tinder account to buy a car? Weird times we live in. Some things they offer are actually p great
Beautiful Tulip sale for Amazon Prime members !
Very crowded. Apparently they are notIntered in compliance with CDC.
Its fine but Its just too small of a store. Parking can be a pain during busy times
Organic organic all over. This is a great store for all your grocery needs.
Expensive and not all products are fresh especially fish. Need some attention
Clean, well lit and decent lunches for under 10 dollars. A much better experience than the two nasty chain stores down the block.
I shop here. So far I had one but experience. The oat milk went bad.
Very happy with the fresh produce, the store is clean and staff seems to try and do a good job regulating the flow in the midst of the pandemic. Shoppers on the other hand have no regard for arrows on the floor or social distancing
Very professional and friendly staff!!!! Highly recommended!
I enjoy wholefoods coffee and foods very much
Cheerful with fabulous products, excellent Covid protocols for cleanliness and social distancing.
The Whole Foods and Amazon partnership has really made things much simpler and safer during these difficult times. The pickup process couldn’t be any simpler.
I do stop in for lunch at times must say very clean and they do control the cars coming in and out quite well. But dont park down hill run away carts every day. Store is clean but seems small as to PortCheaster location. Hot Food Buffet can be cold but still fresh and good.
I love Whole Foods. Fresh organic veg tables and fruits. Organic meats. We only eat organic at home and I find this place amazing. They always have what I am looking for, but, lately I cannot find Kinder Care liquid vitamins for my grand children. It is a German product that I love. I wish they would bring it back.
Love the fresh foods and great customer service. Dont like We must be Amazon Prime customers to get some items cheaper. If we came to Whole Foods every day or several times per week, it would make more sense. For some who shop once a week, still good food but should have an senior discount.
It is clean, great organic produce. Delicious pastries.
Today busy for Thanksgiving shopping... happy holidays
Store was clean staff is friendly always find what I need
I absolutely enjoy doing my grocery shopping here. Staff is very friendly and polite. Large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Fast checkout.
Always great
Best place around. Worked there 5 years
Miss the prepared foods. Im willing to risk it for a healthy quick bite. Get going.
This Whole Foods has gone from bad to worse since it expanded its space. The staff at the fish and meats department are free falling- no one is managing these guys. They chat like teenagers and don’t pay attention to the customers. All attitude. I don’t care how much money people from Greenwich have or don’t have- you don’t treat customers like that. I just watched while it all happened. And then when I went to get some steak, the guy just ignored me to talk with his buddy behind the counter. And insult to injury, he gave me the WORST piece of “grass fed NY sirloin” I’ve ever had. Grisly, hard to chew, ugh! Not worth the exorbitant price tag. NOT going back there for beef OR seafood.
Store can be pricey but if you watch for sales and take advantage of promotions, you can actually leave with more than a bag for $100. Their food is high quality. Some staff members are nice, others are snippy. Watch for expiration dates at this store in the yogurt aisle especially. Good hummus there!
As much as I love Amazon, I cant say Im a big Whole Foods fan. Im more a Super Stop & Shop kind of person. Perhaps things are just too healthy for me. If I want a cookie, I dont want it to be vegan.
Id do my regular shopping here and prices are good. Always a decent selection. Check them out for a nice shopping experience!
Always go here fully awake because the parking lot is tight and full of people usually in a rush.
I have been in some absolutely beautiful Whole Foods around our country. Greenwich Whole Foods is dark isles are narrow difficult to find what you want. With all the money in Greenwich its a shame!
Love wholefoods. I always go here for lunch when Im in the area its very convenient everything in the same parking lot.
Love whole foods. Great organic options and they deliver!
The staff is always cleaning. There is usually waiting outside, but that makes it less crowded inside.
This used to be a good store until they expanded it last year and it became a glorified mini-mart that should be attached to a gas station except that no one would pay the hyper inflated prices. It is a mystery how a larger store has resulted in far less selection. The customer service desk is not helpful. After a decade of shopping here I now go the extra mile to reach the far better Whole Foods in Port Chester or to De Ciccos in Armonk
Parking lot is cramped and the store’s aisle setup is a bit odd (easy to get lost in) but staff are nice and store is clean. Good to have a store in town with fresh produce and healthy foods. Could use a larger gluten-free section.
Prices are good. Parking space is great here. Clean well organized store.I make it my favorite shopping store!
Apart from terrible employee attitudes and horrible customer service, this store also cheats customers. I have had so many mis-pricing experiences that it goes way beyond People make mistakes.Happens to me at least 50% of the time. The mistakes takes several forms.1. One price listed on the shelf - another ( always higher) rings at cash register.2. Sale items do not ring up at Sale Price.3. Meat and/or Fish items are mislabeled by employess. Among my experience: Talapia @ $ 7.99 per pond is labelled as Salmon @ $ 14.99.85 Ground Beef is labelled and priced as 90 %.Scales are not at Zero. I have seen as high as + 1/5 pound. Scale mis- adjusted or Something else on scale or a finger touches scale.Last years I complained to management. Problem is that as someone else pointed out - there is no MANAGER . Everyone is a Manager i.e team ( ergo no one is Manager ). First time I complained I got just an apology claiming: People make Mistakes or our scales are inspected.Second time - no response whatsoever. I talk to other customers and almost all hate the poor lay out - narrow lanes and poorly manned cash registers as well as customer service. This opinion is almost universal. Reflect very poorly on Amazon management style. We all buy there because products are indeed very good.Since nobody seems to be in charge and nobody seems to care, I have stopped complaining but instead claim their store guarantee posted on door. If a Price rings up higher than correct - then it is free.March 10 2020. SCAMMED 2 times in 1 shopping trip.Bought 1.03 Pounds of Cod Fillet . Price $ 7.99 per pound. When checking out: $ 25.85 ( labelled as much more expensive fish). From Salad Bar Bought small salad < 1 pound @ $ 10.99 per pond. Rung up as ~ 1.4 pounds = $ 15.35. Asked why so high and check-out lady put back on SAME scale and now it was 0.85 Pounds. Asking WHY same scale would measure so differently only seconds part - she just shook her shoulders showing that she did not care why.
The new larger store now has longer lines and less staff on the checkouts than the previous more friendly store. 10 new flashy lit checkouts and 3 express checkouts that I have rarely witnessed being used. You would think that the shopping would take longer than standing in the checkout lane, but you would be wrong.
Great store.
An ok Whole Foods it’s pretty small
I really wish they can sell the Beer Cheddar flavor of Kettle Brand Potato Chips. I see various flavors of Kettle Brand, but no Beer Cheddar or New York Cheddar. The selections just arent complete without any of those flavors.
Prices are better then they used to be. Parking is great here. Clean well organized store. Friendly staff
Crowds. Where is the prepared food?
Produce not as good as before
Bought two fruit trees. Died immediately. Won’t take them back. The place sucks.
People are not so nice sometimes
Great PLACE. Large selection of products but a little hard to find things since they remodeled it. Im here atleast 4 times a week because i live right up the block. I liked it better before. I was always in and out it was convenient and fast. Now I have to look around to find the stuff I want. Overall I really cant complain. The staff is EXCELENT!!!!
Typical whole foods friendly staff appreciate parking guard at front to assist with traffic flow
One of the nicer whole foods markets in Fairfield County / West Chester. Selection at the store is representative of a normal rang eof Whole Foods products, with a few local and specialty items mixed in. Generally friendly staff, would have been five stars if they moved people through checkout quicker. Stop by on your lunch break, they have some killer, inventive and cheap pizzas. The go-to specialty store, with better organization and prices way cheaper than some of its competitors.
Good customer service...looking for specific item and young lady was on top of her game leading me to the item in person instead of telling me where to find it...wish store was bigger like another one I often visit but all in all, wish my shopping experiences were more like this...
When I shop at WF I trust I’m offered some of the best products available. I food shop 3-4 x per week and buy selectively for meals. General grocery items I go to other stores to save a few bucks.
Great market with some of the best selection of speciality foods. Recently expanded and renovated. Very clean and well organized. Parking is always available.

I’M NOT SURE WHAT HASN’T BEEN SAID ABOUT WHOLE FOODS BUT FRESH, CLEAN, AND GREAT SELECTION FOR THE FAMILY
Extremely small and always overcrowded. I have a feeling the store isnt ADA compliant. Abysmal beer selection that also rotates unpredictably. Hot bar is limited... Limited selection of produce (and the produce section is impossibly crowded at all hours). Very tiny bulk food section and bulk coffee section, and also in the smallest aisle of all. Parking lot is too small and difficult to navigate. People generally do not drive very well in the parking lot either. Making a left out of the parking lot is extremely difficult if not impossible to do at most times of day...
Love this place. Always find something wholesome.
Great same day curbside pickup
Compared to the other whole foods market in Port Chester ny, the one in Greenwich lacks space and merchandise. Food court was poor. I asked an attendant for brussel sprouts behind the counter as I was preparing a salad and she told me I needed to get a whole different order. Not a problem but for just a couple of sprouts?
The best place around for healthy and fresh products.
I have shoped here severally and the service have been awewsome. Their produts are first class.
The food is great, just like at the chains other locations. But the shop is small with narrow aisles. The parking lot is a genuine hazard (entering, exiting, and transiting). And some food is marginal (eg yogurt with sell by dates the next day?). But its there & better than driving to Port Chester or White Plains. Also, skip the dank coffee bar in the back and visit the Starbucks three doors down in the same strip mall.
With Amazon prime and prime credit card, good value
The food is not whole enough
Awsome market, wish I had one in my town!
Their bakery/coffee area is great. Salad bar is pretty good too.
Product quality has much to be desired (have purchased food that was rotten, seen food on shelves that was beyond best buy date), staff is rude and worst of all, cashiers toss food into grocery bags without any care - its food for goodness sake, how can you treat food like that, not it mention very expensive food.
The butcher staff is untrained. Cant get a chicken properly butterflied or rib chops properly frenched. Today, I asked for bone in leg of lamb to be cubed for lamb curry. He flat out said no. So then I said, ok boneless leg of lamb to be cubed. I said it about 3 times.I came back for it and when I got home, I had a two pound portion of leg of lamb untouched. Its roasting in the oven now. I know, first world problems but still.
Ive bought Whole Foods brand chicken breast four times and four times Ive had to return it before the sell-by date because it was rotten. The shift supervisor, Eddie Han, gave me a $25 gift card and told me that I was the only one having this issue so I next time I buy chicken from them, I should bring it to the meat department to have them open it up to check to see if its good. Another customer came up to us and told us that she was having the exact same problem at this whole foods. They are going through renovations so either their refrigeration is broken or theyre not following proper food handling guidelines. I think its the latter because Ive seen employees here behind the deli counter eat food from the counter with their hands and then proceed to use the same glove to serve customers. The employees are very undertrained about food handling.
My working hours only allow me to shop after 7PM, and I know that many stores do not offer bread and fruits as the products offered by whole food are usually fresh. One thing I noticed lately is that the paying taking longer than it used to.
My favorite grocery
Whole foods is always good for everything
Great store for organic, GF foods!
Smaller than the stores in Darien and Port Chester, but still a decent selection and high quality produce. Employees are very friendly and helpful.
Good place for shopping, many items you dont find in regular supermarkets, plus good salad bar, employees are very helpful
We wanted a cake, but we were turned off when we saw a moldy fruit tart. It isnt the first time Ive seen something moldy at Whole Foods! Anyway, there are plenty of other bakeries in downtown Greenwich...
Selection is great but the location and parking situation can be a bit of a bear. Lines at the register are usually pretty fast though.
