What a wonderful treat to inadvertently park in front of this particular UPS Store while I was doing other errands on a Sunday afternoon.THEY WERE ACTUALLY OPEN ON SUNDAYS!!!I needed to print out some important documents and I figured it would have to wait until the following day when I also had a medical procedure scheduled. Carlton, the UPS Store clerk/representative, was truly a breath of fresh air! So welcoming and pleasant and helpful!!! This location appeared to be quite busy but Carlton never missed a step greeting each and every person entering the store with a warm, genuine smile and superlative customer service. Thank you, Carlton, for truly making my day!

Poor customer service. Lost two packages. Took no responsibility. In each case was told they are not responsible for shipping thru UPS even though the store provided a tracking number and the shipping label shows the stores shipping address. Go to UPS Tracking and all you will see is Label Created. Working under The UPS Store sign is purely marketing. Making you think you are getting UPS service which you are not. I will take my packages directly to a UPS distribution center in the future.

The worst customer service. I previously used them for our business shipping but everything became such a hassle with them that I changed over to Staples. I hated to go in but I had to return for Amazon. My paperwork clearly states that the UPS Store will scan pack and ship your item for free. The wise mouth young lady helping another customer told her that she would have to pay for them to package it. She told the girl that she was told she could bring it as it is. The wise mouth girl argued with her that that was not true. I gave her my paperwork that clearly states that the UPS Store will scan pack and ship your item for free. If you have another choice of where to send your Amazon return back, take it. Do not use the store for any type of shipping. Unless you want to leave with a headache.

***edited***I did finally collect a check from the ups store for my damage claim. They actually wrote me a check without even getting the claim approved yet, which I do appreciate.I believe the owner to be a good stand up honest man. I do feel like their hands are tied a little bit because they are at the mercy of UPS to approve the claim. I guess my real frustration is with UPS in general.Original reviewI preface this by saying that Justin has been my point of contact and he has been very professional this entire time,albeit it has gone nowhere....Four stars for professionalism, two stars for damaged claims. So Im putting three stars total.I have used this UPS Store for many years I always assumed they would take care of me if there was ever an issue. Out of many packages that Ive shipped over the years, I finally had one large ticket item that got damaged in shipping. This took place roughly 5 months ago. It is now mid June I have not received any payment from them or anything. I spent a lot of money out of pocket to repair the damage that was caused so I could keep my customer happy. I assumed that the UPS Store would refund me no problem and I would just have to wait a little while. Now going on 6 months later Im not convinced that Im ever going to see a payment.In the future Im going to package the stuff myself and ship it from home rather than paying extra to have the UPS Store package it. They charge a lot of money for their packaging and they supposedly guarantee that if theres any issues they will take care of it if they package it.In my experience this is not the case. I handed them something, they packaged it, It got damaged and they are unwilling/unable to pay out anything on it. They always just tell me that its still in process and they dont understand why its taking so long.To be fair they are a third party franchise not officially owned by UPS. So they dont have a lot of pulling power apparently when it comes to claims. I feel like I would be better off had I just shipped it myself and dealt with UPS damage claims directly. Maybe not, but at the very least I would have saved some money on the packaging.If they take care of this issue I will update my review but I feel like other people need to know my experience at this point.

Bryanna Did an excellent job putting together my operation manuals. I had 2 for her to create and they are absolutely magnificent. Perfect paper choice, perfect binding, organized very well and easy for me to use. I highly recommend this store because everyone else as well as Brianna has been so great to help me with whatever I need.

I’d like to commend this store for two reasons—for the added convenience of being open on Sunday, and for the excellent customer service from Justin.I brought an Amazon return in a box that had been so badly damaged in shipment that it would require reboxing to return. Amazon’s return policy assumes the original box is provided, so any reboxing cost would have been at my expense.Justin urged me to check with Amazon customer service to work out this situation before he accepted the return. He noted that once he accepted the return (which would have required my payment for a new box), it would be complicated and time-consuming to get refunded the cost of the new box (not insignificant as this was a large, heavy item).I spent about 5 minutes chatting with Amazon customer service, and they waived the return and gave me the full refund.Thanks to Justin’s advice, I possibly saved a good deal of money and certainly avoided a lot of time and frustration dealing with this unusual return situation.I look forward to continuing to do business with Justin and the Greer UPS Store.

I love old management from this store. They were supper nice and always help. Now new owner is horrible

I only use UPS for all my mailing needs, and printing is done the same day and is always ready on-time. Love the professional staff, know them all by heart. They are quick, efficient, and always ready to be of service. Not to mention, they have the cheapest prices on all things mail, printing, designs, and various marketing and promotional materials.

I have been here many times. I asked if USP office was the same since. Its not...they lied.See info from USP:There are accessorial charges that UPS imposes for services such as delivery area surcharge or declared value for which franchisees might charge an additional service fee to cover their costs.

Spent $$ for overnight delivery of some legal docs to my son in Minneapolis, MN. Was provided a tracking number - never delivered. Letter was returned from MN 2 weeks later after not being delivered because The wrong label was used with the wrong letter pack. Was charged an additional $18 by USPS for the privilege of NOT delivering the letter - much less on time. Will update this review once I find out whether the UPS store refunds the $$ and makes at least that right after messing up the initial purchase.Update: Just went in to the store here & Justin was professional, polite & quickly resolved the issue by refunding my $$. The original mistake was simply an honest error - the USPS customer service is simply atrocious - however the local UPS store here in Greer graciously did what they could to make things right on their end.Everyone is capable of a mistake - it’s owning that mistake and making it right that separates good from bad businesses.

I waited over 30 minutes in a slow line. Thre were 3 employees but only 2 helping customers. Employees were indifferent to customers frustrations. I was charged $23 for notary services that my bank does for free.

I absolutely love this location! Derek helped me today and he was extremely helpful, patient, and courteous. There was also an older gentleman there that was very nice but I didn’t catch his name. This location is always informative and they try their best to be efficiently thorough. Definitely a loyal customer to this location.

ATTENTION !IF I stand to be corrected i will delete this BUT until then this is my story.June 12th 2020 ordered new phone. June 15th 2020 received and signed by employee of this UPS STORE GREER SC.VERIZON and FEDEX both said it was delivered and signed for by (wont mention name) a particular employee. This particular employee even looked it up on FEDEX website with tracking number. To no avail it showed it was delivered. Yet they told me i would have to call FEDEX so they can open a case and investigate. REALLY !Employee tells me its not their even though his employee signed for it. Now how would myself or Verizon or FEDEXKnow the name of employee whom signed. (Basically saying its in his hands)Im upset because Im the one who has to deal with FedEx and if they cant find it I have to deal with Verizon AGAIN. Instead of UPS STORE OF GREER SC POINTING FINGERS AT FEDEX WHY DONT THEY INVESTIGATE ? RATHER THEN PASSING THE BUCK. AFTER THERE EMPLOYEE SIGNED FOR IT.Using their analogy/ anyone can go in and say they want a REFUND on particular item but they dont have the item yet want their money back.Poor customer service

I went to this UPS store to return a couple of packages for my husband. I had my 2 kids with me (6 and 2.5). When I first walked in, no one said Hi or even acknowledged that I had even walked in. There was a man in front of me who was being helped, so I waited with my children right next to me. Mind you, I had both of my hands full because I was holding my 2 year old and I had my boxes in the other. My 6 year old was looking at the cards while we waited.When it was my turn to be helped, there was still no: “hi, how can I help you?” I was looked at like I was a problem. So I said I need to send these back. The guy (I believe his name was Derrick) was quite rude to both me and my 6 year old. My 6 year old was leaning up against the counter, but not touching the scale or anything that he could’ve messed up. The guy scanned my first package, and when he went to tape it up he said to my 6 year old “move.” Because he was watching what was being done. So I pulled my son back towards me, so he wouldn’t be in the way. Then the man working started working on the other package. He was once again incredibly rude to my son. I can’t remember his exact words, but I was offended by his words and tone. Once he finished with our packages, he printed off the receipt for me and very rudely handed it to my 6 year old and said “here. Take it.” I was never acknowledged and my children were treated as if they were a problem. I have real issues with that! I’m the parent, and I was standing right there. If my child is doing something they shouldn’t be doing, I’ll take care of it! I won’t be going back to this location ever! I don’t need someone treating me as if I don’t exist and telling me how to parent my own kid!

I was making an Amazon return. They wanted to charge me $2.50 to use their computer + .12 per copy to print the label. For a UPS label - at the UPS store. What a racket.I went to the library and spent $0.10 to print the label. Staples only charges $0.12 per page with no computer use charge. From now on I will use Staples for things I used to do at the UPS store.

People are always friendly and helpful. I found my great grandfathers and great grand mothers pictures in terrible condition. I took to UPS Greer location and the restoration was remarkable. They made my copies for my family and even put on my disc so I could add to my ancestry site.Attached are pictures of before and after.I have returned many items back to Amazon using Amazons return label. I have mailed Suber Mill cornmeal and grits to Baltimore and have been pleased.

A package with perishable good was to arrive overnight from Maine and didnt arrive. Even though Jims UPS store wasnt part of the original shipping transaction, he worked with me for 20 minutes to find where my package was and to have it delivered to my home that day. I am so grateful for the excellent service!

DO NOT GO THERE FOR NOTARY SERVICES! SC Code section 26-1-100(B) states that a SC Notary can charge up to $5.00 per Notarial act. This UPS store charges $15 per notarial act. Now technically they are within the law because they are allowed to charge an administrative fee. There administrative fee is 200% more than they are allowed to charge for actually notarizing a document! This is price gouging and other UPS stores in the area do not gouge like this and some actually only charge $5. So drive a little further and save yourself a lot of money!

The person working there did not want my business. Im not sure she was completely lucid. She was not making any sense. For example, when I told her I was a web developer (I was trying to rent a mailbox), she said people like me are able to steal the names of all the other mailbox customers. She said she was picky who she rents a box to. I told her Id find a different UPS store.

Multiple people just grabbed my items and took off into the back of the store. Five minutes later one guy is back and finally its time to pay only for me to notice Im being charged for multiple packing items I never asked for, as well as being charged for their time to pack the box that I didnt ask for, as if that is not what they are being paid for. This isnt my first bad experience at this location but it will be my last. FIND ANOTHER LOCATION!

I had a great experience, because of Employee # 121825 (Conrad, I think). He has excellent customer service skills, and was pleasant with a sense of humor. His personality made a laborious chore of shipping 6 LG boxes weighing 60 lbs each to Florida from SC! He unloaded the very heavy boxes from the SUV onto a trolley, triple stacked, and over the sidewalk! Had to enter same info for each box, so was a little tedious for him. THANK YOU UPS! I have more, so will be back! Shirlee Dillard
