I was here 2 weeks ago and can’t stop thinking about the green monster burrito. it was delicious and unmatched, really what did y’all put in that I need another one asap. great flavor and vegetarian! wonderful workers and though they seemed crazy busy i can see why and our food and drinks were still delivered to us promptly, definitely worth a visit or 10, unfortunately not from the area but I highly recommend and will be back if I’m ever nearby!! Thanks for your delicious food and hard work!!

Great little place. I had hot spiced cider which was perfect on a crisp fall morning. The home fries are to die for and the service was wonderful!

Delicious breakfast and lunch food, every single time. All of their breakfast sandwiches and the breakfast burrito are really tasty. Their lunch paninis (especially the BLT) are also super good! Highly recommend stopping by, but order ahead -- their ordering gets very busy during peak hours!

Great food! And I love their sandwiches, but im not sure if its the staff but lately the food hasnt been up-to-par. Ive been going here for a year and these last couple of months the pancakes havent been good. They are coming out burnt, too thick and overall weird taste.

Went for the first time today, ordered online… WOW, all I got was a flavored coffee & fairly simple breakfast sandwich, but, oh my gosh, it’s so delicious… I’m already planning my return trip tomorrow lol!!!!

Though the food is good, there was a long wait for the food. We ordered on the website at 9:40 and the food was supposed to be ready at 10:12. We got our order at 10:30. There are no restrooms and they dont allow you in the restaurant. Not impressed.

Love this place. Whenever I run on the Groton rail trail I always stop here to get some after run refreshments. The food always is delicious and the drinks are tasty.

Delicious local gem! We discovered Blackbird Cafe during 2020 because we were home more and looking to add to our dining rotation. BC has a wonderful menu and we have enjoyed everything weve ordered.

Ordered for the first time after hiking at the state park. Love that no one can go in to get food, pick up outside only. Online ordering was simple and food was on time and quick! Got the Cubano and grilled chicken wrap, both were fresh and delicious. We will definitely grab lunch here again after our weekend walk. Glad we found such a great place!

Found this place online and decided to try with my husband. What a great experience. We didn’t have to wait in a line or wear a mask. We enjoyed waiting in our car and the staff promptly putting our coffees outside. Very stress free experience. Will be returning next weekend for our coffee date!

I was craving diner food so bad (I’m 38 weeks pregnant) and was looking for a place close to me but also offered curbside pickup because of covid-19. I like that it’s only 10 minutes from where I live, and this is my first time eating here and I was really impressed!! I got their colonial breakfast and an iced cafe latte. The only downfall was that they forgot to give me a straw for my latte but that’s really no biggie lol but other than that the food was great and I like that you can order online then just pull up front and call to tell them you have arrived and they put your order outside for you. I will definitely be coming back!

Used Blackbird Cafe for sandwich catering for a bridal shower. The wraps/salads were labeled clearly for guests and many people took another half home for later - they were that good! Highly reccomend and will use again in the future. Great communication as well.

I meet friends in this lovely place many times a year! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go there routinely. The cooking is of high quality, the staff is polite and the prices are fair. I like eating in this place for a tasty dinner.

We had a Colonial breakfast = 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, toast and 2 pancakes = delicious; and avocado toast with a fried egg. Avocado was a little under ripe but overall was very good. The service was very good!

Their food and service is really good. They are especially good during this pandemic with online ordering and curbside pickup. They are safe and care about their community.In the past few months I have been inventing a Keto-ish breakfast that Blackbird Café makes perfectly. Its the Ranchero sandwich without the bread with its contents placed on a bed of spinach with extra bacon and added avocado. The Ranchero sauce is fantastic on it!

Food is good, but they are extremely slow, frequently mess up the order and lack customer service.

I have visited this cafe once. We had good timing and were able to grab a seat without any issue. However, the seating area is fairly small, and filled up quickly after we arrived. Food was great. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table.

I stop into this little cafe for a latte and breakfast sandwich occasionally. Its a nice little spot. Service is pretty fast and I never really have to wait in line to order (I go on weekdays). They make a good latte and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious! It also beats making the haul to Starbucks 20 mins away! This is a really nice, small, quiet cafe. They serve up huge cups of good coffee, good well prepared food, and efficient service. It was surprisingly quiet here on an early Tuesday morning. If youre looking for breakfast on the way to work, I dont know why this place wouldnt be your go to destination.

Quaint cafe with good food, though there were some operational issues which caused delays on my visit. Im assuming that was an anomaly. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Signage could be improved upon; its not easy to spot if you arent coming in from the main entrance.

Love coming here saturday/sunday mornings for a coffee and a quick bite. Its right off the bike path, we bike right over and enjoy a quick bite.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches with meat and veggie options. I had the ranchero sandwich...must try. Theres also vegan options. Ordered an iced mocha coffee...was tasty enough to drink it black and more delightful with cream and a dash of sugar. Forget that other breakfast place!

Store was clean, employees where friendly. $8.50 Turkey/cheese sandwich wasnt anything to remember. Was difficult to eat with mayonnaise running through holes in bread. Bread was great, holes werent. Didnt get a napkin in my bag. Ill take the blame for that, I should have looked for one before leaving. Im generally very easy to please. Im on the fence whether Ill revisit. If so, next time Ill try the coffee.

This is by far my favorite cafe, luckily its also the closest cafe to me other than some chain coffee place. I love their lattes, they are perfection. I always get the almond latte because its that good. Im also in love with their egg and cheese sandwich on rosemary focaccia bread. The service is great, they are really friendly and you never have to wait long. I love coming here with my friends.

Gone twice now while in the area for work, great food both times, and muffins always seem to be freshly baked every time I go. If you’re reading this stop reading the review and just go get some food here

Id love to give 5 stars for my weekend visits and one star for during the week visits. They must have a different cook because the goat cheese scramble on the weekend is light fluffy and delicious, but during the week, its watery and more like greasy spoon eggs. The bacon is also cooked better on the weekend and the homefries are bland and greasy during the week but perfectly cooked and flavorful on the weekend. The first time I wasnt pleased with my during the week visit, I didnt think much of it, but Ive now gone 2 more times during the week and had the same experience. I dont mind spending money on good food, but spending $16 for breakfast should be better quality than greasy spoon. Ill continue to go on the weekend, but will definitely find somewhere different during the week.

This small cafe had excellent hot sandwiches and coffee. My group of 8 pulled together chairs around a smaller table and managed to get a quick meal between our music rehearsal and a wedding.
