This thrift is definitely leaps and bounds better than VoA but still WAY overpriced. No funky smells and actually fairly organized.
Place is clean, neat and organized and staff are very friendly and helpful, only thing I didnt like is some items are not priced fairly like some stuff at the kitchen section, like the cupcake carrier (red color), the same exact brand from dollar tree which you can buy for $1, they price it for $2.99 - I was shocked coz its already been used, and the collapsible storage container (used, brown color) exact item from dollar tree for $1 and they priced it for $1.99, and some dresses too like calvin klein dress, I have one 2 years ago I bought one for sale for $15 (50% off) and I saw one in this place for $14... it is a nice place I hope they consider lowering the price of some stuff there but the blazers and sweaters I like the pricing.I will be coming back to this place for sure.
You see it you want it, place it in your cart.... theres another person ready to pick it up and place it in their cart. 😎Great finds from housewares to clothes. This place has so much to choose from. 5⭐
The cashier was very nice and you do get good clothes. You just have to look for them
I love this Ohio Thrift! They are clean and organized, I find lots of great finds. Also, the employees are awesome!!
Meh..Its all right. Prices are a bit steep for used merchandise. Decent selection. Clean and well lit. Employees nice and helpful. Clothes are arranged on the racks by size which is helpful. On a side note, this is a For Profit thrift store, not non profit like Goodwill or Salvation Army.
Love the store too hot to shop and its not even that hot today
A big selection of items..I always find a treasure.
Was great except prices are a bit high
Ohio thrift is probably one of the worst thrift stores in Columbus. I would say half the store are buyouts from stores going out of business and they mark it up extremely high because it’s new. Yes it’s new but it’s junk. They will have repeats of the same shirts and pants over and over and over. Rarely will they change inventory. You will see the same stuff for months. If it’s a decent item don’t worry they will charge triple from what any other thrift store would charge you. Do your self a favor and avoid this store.
Store was clean and I was able to find some shorts at a reasonable price.
Awesome place to find a bit of everything!! Its always clean, well organized and well stocked.Employees are friendly n helpful. Theres plenty of parking too.
One of the nicer Ohio thrift stores. Clean and organized
Like most larger Thrift stores now days this store is high priced. Just have to be careful of what you want and know retail prices.
Staff is friendly and the store is always clean
There are lots of clothes there and that there are things for every one
Little girls, summer shorts and tops
It was good the prices were good people friendly 👌
The rewards program is a joke have been a shopper for years and have not gotten a rewards discount. They need to be investigated on what they are really doong with your information.
Not so much in giving any thrift stores no more than three stars they overpriced mostly everything I think the price so much of its not even worth putting on the floor
Nice big place. Well organized.
A great thrift store..awesome prices and a great selection of items
Really are priced high when things are donated free, plus they used to offer discounts but stopped that, kinda disappointed.
I think what people fail to realize is that the store doesnt choose the price we have to follow rules and price them. They have a categorized system. New items they get in are scanned by its regular price and they are shown what discounted price is and it gets Marked and put out. Donated items are sorted through tagged and priced based on condition and there is a pricing sheet they have to follow. No they dont check if donated merchandise work because they get so many its why they have outlets. For customers to test it out
Clean but EXPENSIVE for a thrift store.
Great place good bargains.
Well-run for a Thrift...my Go To for penny pinching...
Very cool store been going there for a few years.
Great thrift store. Love that sizes are marked and in order.
Nice, clean & organized....
Great cheap place to shop. Had 3 different color tags on sale: 25%, 50%, & 75% off. Name brand clothes, fitting rooms, open til 9pm & quick check out. They also have a frequent shopper program. 2 thumbs up.
Not the best Thrift store in town but they do have a good assortment of items.
The prices on everything are fantastic for the most part. I understand its a thrift store but their are items that are just gonna be shelf queens. A lot of the inventory is super aged and not in a desirable condition. As a whole not bad and not horrible. Will be back. Their are definitely some neat finds though. Just gotta look.
I bought a vacuum someone had apparently swapped out the price tag for something that was 5 dollars cheaper. The owner was angry and rude though I hadnt done anything other than buy a vacuum that needed repair
Best thrift store Ive ever been too. New and used items. Prices are great, they match the quality of the item. Id make sure to stop by this thrift store if I was ever in the are. I cant walk into another one without thinking about this one. Also they offer a selection on new and used items to look through.
Getting a little pricey on used clothes.
Typical thrift store.
Has a diverse assortment of used goods to keep you busy for a while! Usually the clothes are sorted by size like a regular store. It makes it so much easier to shop
2nd only to Out of the Closet, this is a stellar thrift store. Clean. Well lit. TONS of household items. Great selections and SUPER prices. I go WAY out of my way to make this my go-to thrift store and I almost didnt want to write this review because I feel like this his a hidden gem and if everyone finds out about it, I fear theyll hike the prices. I LOVE love this place. Good customer service. Clean. Great prices on a consistent basis.
This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Columbus. It is big and laid out well except they mix the mens and womens athletic wear which makes no sense. I always manage to find something everytime I stop.
You can really find good and even new things to wear and use like bed bug protected new mattress es when you dont have a lot of money
Always have a good selection and very nice workers
This is NOT a thrift store, at all. its a for-profit business. Its like a walmart, but they are charging retail price for donated goods. I much rather buy stuff from VOA, much better (fair) prices, and they actually employ people from the community, who cant work normal jobs. I feel like theyre taking advantage of people. do not donate to the NATIONAL KIDNEY SERVICE, IT ALL GOES TO THESE STORES FOR HUGE MARKUPS. DOESNT SERVE THE COMMUNITY.
The store was very clean and organized.
This thrift store is really nice and has a lot of quality items coming in all the time. I have found a lot of brand name clothing here but the only draw back are the prices. I have been to many Ohio thrifts and the Grove City location seems to be higher than all the rest. Love supporting their cause but I consider the prices to be more like Platos Closet than a thrift store.
Nice size place, bigger than average. Nice selection of coats, dress clothes, shoes & clothes for the whole family. Movies, books, jewelry, kitchenware, pictures & so much more. Great sales too!
Advertises 50% OFF Sale but then its only select items & the rules change all the time. Inconsistent rules for whats on SALE. It uses to be all soft lines now its only certain wearable items. When you notice it didnt ring up 50% they dont remove it from your bill without a hassel. They tell you the wrong color sale tags then just say Oh I meant (different color) & continue to ring up items at full price. Just 1 more sneaky underhanded way of tricking you into spending more money.
The store is clean and organized and the employees are helpful and friendly. Theres always a nice assortment of merchandise to choose from. Always a nice place to visit.
It was clean and help was nice
The prices are out of control! If you are on a budget, I dont recommend this thrift store. I think they have forgotten that some people just cant afford store prices so rely on thrift stores to shop. I told my boyfriend to never allow me to go there again, just too frustrating when you cant afford to shop used.
Had a really bad experience. I walked in with my purse that is a back pack and they said it wasnt allowed. So they said it would be in the back office. When I went to check out I saw that it was just on the floor not even under a register. It really unsafe. My wallet and phone we here both in there. Not to mention there food items were broken. They had crackers completely smashed for sale. They also had Mason jars without the lids for 2 dollars. At Michaels there only a dollar and with the lids.
Not your typical store. Merchandise is clean and well organized. A good place to shop for workout clothing.
No half price on last Wednesday of the month. What the heck
Its suppose to be a thrift store not new retail half off sale days means beware of certain items and tag colors which is usually white not included in the sales. Prices are fairly high. And selection is dwindling in all departments due to these tags.
Definitely worth the drive across town. The huge selection of clothes is organized and easy to shop if you enjoy thrifting.
Its okay..Manager lady is kind of rude in Grove City
Clean, well stocked, sale days r not crazy, busy yes. 2nd & last Wed of month. Enjoy coming here, ample parking, easy to get to. Nice staff, changing rooms now
I bring my son here around twice a month. Always something fun to find. Staff is friendly, and they always have the place picked up. Ive found some great deals here.
Very well organized and great selection! Huge!
This store has a little bit of everything and decent priced. Been to few thrift stores and I was surprised when I entered this one. Some clothes were brand new name brand, still had store tags on them saying $29.99 and I paid $5.00...my daughter loves going there. Sandals for $2.00 got 50% off cuz it had the days colored tag on it, every day different colored tags get different % off. Was at JC Penny and saw these exact sandals for $35. And I paid $2.00 My daughter has since asked me if she could do the dishes or laundry to get money to go back and buy these shoes she liked...
Id rather go to different locations or even Volunteers of America. Not a friendly feeling atmosphere here and prices on items...Mostly way over priced for a giving back to the needy kind of place
I agree that the prices are too high. I typically buy childrens clothes, but have also noticed they have some better quality kids clothes than I have seen in other thrift stores. I only shop here on half off days.
As a customer, your motives and integrity are constantly challenged when you enter the store. I was highly offended when my integrity was questioned by a supervisor at the cash register. When I took my complaint to corporate-It apparently warranted no response at all-as I have heard nothing in response, after several days. Prices are only slightly sub-retail in many cases. There is an unstated belief(by consumers) that donations somehow benefit the disadvantaged-this is a totally false assumption,as this is an entirely for profit operation. I will still frequent this establishment-but will inevitably retain a very negative perception of Ohio Thrift .as an entity.
We found just the things we were looking for and then some the people at the check out were the best
So much variety in sizes and styles.
Never had a bad experience, the place is clean and air conditioned and prices are typically much lower than VOA
Clean store. Prices could be lower.
One of the most organized thrift stores Ive been to. Very clean and the staff was wonderful!!
Its very nice looking and roomy I just think the prices are little to much
Love this place.
Always enjoy visiting this location. Extremely friendly people and amazing items!!
Very clean organized place. Lets of good deals
A little pricey for a thrift store. But very nicely merchandised / organized.
Just there and some women started yellin at a 17 year old boy after he asked her how she wanted a job done.she looked high pupils dialated.very rude to this young man just trying to do a job and needed some direction. Obviously she doesnt possess the people skills to deal with employees.especially a high school kid just trying to make a little bit of money for himself. And she did it in front of the customers.
Awesome selection, fair prices (on lower end items) and many hidden gems! Very clean store and helpful employees.
Good variety. Not the best prices. Finally getting changing rooms.
To get really good deals I suggest going on a Tuesday, and thursday.
Very well organized!
Cleanest thrift store i have ever been in. Staff was very friendly
The best thrift store to shop at except a tie between the one in Hilliard
Sign on door saysmon-saturday 9-9Sunday 11-9Today is Monday, I walked up to the door at 9:49am and its locked, as the manager says we have 10 more mins till we open. Then change the signs!! Or stop making up your own hours !!
Great place to find decent clothing at good prices and they seem to have more clothing for bigger people than anywhere else
I use to love going 2 the Ohio thrift stores,it was a lot of fun,but I think people have forgotten what the thrift stores were ment 2 be.the prices now are redickulous. Even people on low income cant afford to go to the thrift stores. You can go to Walmart or myers and get the same thing cheaper and even on sale.they are no longer being used for the purpose of the people who really need them.dont forget they get everything free and now were paying expensive prices and taxes.sure hope the money there getting is being used wisely. Yours truly not a fan anymore
Sometimes you can find nice stuff but beware of anything electronic
There are some really good finds here. As far as thrift stores go sooner process are higher than other places.
Decent selection. Cashier was friendly. Prices were reasonable.
Decent thrift store. Layout is pretty scattered and many things are just downright overpriced.
I usually get really good clothing here. The youth working are either terrific or very rude, complaining, pushing customers around to get into the racks, loud, etc.
Good place... high prices but good clothes and electronics
I find clothes in here all the time. Why? They size all their clothes! No rummaging thru. I go to my size and voila...there they are :)
Clean facility offering gently used items for family& home
Always enjoy this store, I wish Ohio Thrift was inexpensive like SA or VoA, but alas they are not. Staff is friendly though, and they have a large selection.
I appreciate the organization of this store!
Nice place and people would go back again
Prices seem higher than usual
A bit pricey big selection but the prices are a turn off
Friendly j helpful people.
