I have an upcoming trip requiring the installation of a hitch and ball to my vehicle. I ordered and paid online which was very easy. Gives you all of the items that you will need for your make and model of vehicle.The staff on site were extremely friendly and professional. They were upfront about what to expect, from time to do the job to the cut into the plastic underneath of the bumper.The work done was great and I am all set for my trip.Great job to the staff here!

We had some difficulty with the lights turning on with our trailer. The workers last night weren’t particularly helpful but the ladies this morning were amazing! The place was incredibly busy and seemed short staffed but Shannon and Brandy went above and beyond trying to help us get on the road.

Great place to rent from. Very very easy and professional. I would most definitely revisit this place. They are reasonable with their prices as well. I cant say its the best on the Coast cause I have not visited all places but I can and will rate this place with 7 Stars. Yes 7 Stars. 7 big Stars. I ordered and paid for boxes online and scheduled a pick up at this location. The boxes were not in stock. It’s not the fault of the local store, but a failure of the UHaul online purchase and reservation system.

Service is sometimes slow due to only having one person there. They are polite though and propane prices are good.Went today for propane. They had several people working. Only waited 5 minutes. Cost a little over 12 to get gas grill tank filled. Store wanted almost 22 for swap out. Never used storage units.Also as of August 8, 2016 NFC or Chip do not work on card readers. So i guess security is not a top priority.

The employees are nice and helpful. But the trailer I rented was smaller then what was advertised. I rented it for nothing, I couldnt move hardly anything in it.

Great couple of guys helped me out with getting a tow hitch installed on my rav4 today. The people I dealt with directly were really nice and good at what they were doing, but one of the other representatives was definitely not that helpful towards me or the other two guys ahead of me. As a result I lowered my ranking just a little bit in case anyone has to deal with her she didnt seem very keen on doing her job today. I know we all have days like that but its a little uncalled for. Only other requests I could make is possibly having at least some kind of refreshment somewhere nearby for anyone whos waiting on their car to be serviced by the U-Haul Representatives. That may just be asking for a bit too much though?

Wanna be overcharged for using their equipment, namely trucks and vans? Go here. I was charged more than 200 bucks to rent a cargo van for 16 hours. They decided that was 2 days worth, instead of 48 hours. And they find more ways to add expenses than an IRS agent: taxes, insurance, this that and the other. The people here are okay, but Uhaul is an absolutely garbage business. You would do much better to rent a pickup or van from, say, Enterprise. And, yes, I had topped the tank out before returning.

Had a unit for years. They had a leak and had to move my things into a pod. Never replaced anything damaged, then they sold the stuff out of the pod. The lady at the store where they sold the books said they were wearing UHaul shirts when they dropped the stuff off. Not one phone call from them. Crooks!!!

We had to store our belongings here for 2 years (2018 to 2020). From using Uhaul trucks for our move from Colorado to the quality of the climate controlled storage facility, we never had a single issue. Our stuff was never damaged, no break ins, and no pests. We were worried about that with how long our things were stored. Not one sign of bugs or rodents. It was easy to schedule to pickup and drop off of the trucks and access to the storage unit was always convenient when we had to get a few things over those 2 years. My only caution to those looking to use this location is the location itself: Parking directly in front of the building with your personal vehicle can be a challenge backing up or leaving out to Passroad as it is so close to the road and it can be busy. All in all including the monthly rental & insurance fee it was 100% worth it!!!

Never had a problem here when I was running a moving labor service.... except for one time.After I returned the truck for the customer,they called me & said that uhaul had added on and charged them for a lot of miles that were absolutely NOT put on the truck.No other uhaul location ever did that.

Ive had many good experiences over the years. Yesterday (Saturday), however, I called to advise I would be returning a trailer close to closing time (7pm). I was told that, if I arrived too close to 7, they may not unlock the door because they would not have time to check me in, but that, if I arrived not later than 6:45, I should be all right. Apparently, they effectively close 10-15 minutes early, as the mood strikes them.I am considerate of others time, but I was rushing to finish up a long haul. I called ahead out of courtesy to advise that I would be cutting it close but did not think I could get there sooner. Neither did I wish to secure the trailer until I could take time off from work on Monday to return it.Through great effort, including having to call upon someone else to finish my work so I could dump contents and leave in time to return the trailer by 6:45, I made it. The young crew of workers were anything but courteous. One of them pointed to an area into where I backed the trailer and unhitched on my own while my companion went inside to complete the transaction. Another worker with a disaffected air came out to the trailer and recorded information without so much as acknowledging my presence.When my companion returned, he remarked, There sure are some unhappy people in the world, referring to the staff he encountered.I rate at three stars (I would rate 3.5, if I could) because of past good experiences. Yesterday was a 1.5.

Truckshare process was super easy and convenient! Truck was brand new and rode amazing. I would highly recommend UHaul for any needs like this. Payment process was also straightforward!

Absolutely avoid this place! Unprofessional as it gets. I made a rental online, verified and documented via email and recorded calls, booked a $500 flight from out of state, and when I flew in I was told my VISA wasnt accepted. It wasnt declined, it was never even run. They just refused to accept it because it wasnt issued by a bank on their list.I used that VISA to make the reservations, no notification of this regulation was given online, on phone, or in email.A MANAGER told me to fly down anyways, and everything would be OK.It wasnt. I spent $500 and a total of 20 hours in airports to sit a motel for three days in gulfport, and all these people could say was its against our policy, but if you can find a different credit card we can upgrade you to a truck, because they didnt even have a van i reserved there that day anyways.This place is the WORST. If you REALLY want your plans screwed up badly, this is the place.

Went on line for boat storage.got a confirmation.and took my credit card.went to store and they looked at me like I was a 2 headed snake.said they dont do boat storage.then they shouldnt advertise it.

Customer service reps play on their phones while talking to you. They rarely look up to even make eye contact. Returning vehicles is pretty easy, but theres no courtesy or conversation. For the astronomical prices that U-Haul is charging youd think that theyd at least be nice at the counter. For this location, youd be wrong in that assumption.

Good customer service here, very friendly and helpful. Its in an older building in need of remodel but it all still works. They offer many other services besides the typical truck rental, like propane refill, hitch installation and storage locker rental.

So we rented one of the trucks that was priced 19.99 and ended up paying $50+ total.They took $30 off my card and was like it was put on a hold but in 24hrs or more my $30 should be back on there.. .....never got returned to my card. They refuse to send my card company an email to verify that the money should be returned back into my bank account.Never will be back again, very unprofessional. I dont recommend this place to anybody.

The only complaint/advise I have is double check your fuel gauge. Both vehicles we got had the wrong amount listed on the contract, but the ladies fixed it no problem. They are wonderful. The place could use a face lift, but the staff make up for the older appearance.

Dropped off 4 trucks here over the past 3 months. The check-in staff were quite knowledgeable and friendly. Its a great place to drop off trucks and trailers.

When we returned after Katrina, this store was very helpful...they assisted us with a storage locker until; our house was ready. then quickly rented us the exact size truck needed to move our stuff to the house.

Lots of equipment available but need to work on their people skills

Made a hitch install appointment for 7am through the website. The store says when I show up at 7 that they dont do anything before 730. There were 5 people standing at the door until 720 when they finally finished the till count... The person installing the hitch was pleasant and took my keys to get started but the woman behind the counter on 8/29/2014 was arguing with me about who was rite about the appointment time. The email sent by uhaul which said 7am or their computer which had a time of 8am

Rented a truck for my mother to move. Used my credit card for initial deposit, and used another card for actual payment. (Was no supposed to be charged on fist card) We were charged on both cards. No one ever answers the phone. We were giving the wrong truck compared to the contract. Needless to say we will never use this Uhaul location again nor will we recommend it to anyone else.

Returned truck on time with correct amount of fuel and was charged $7 for low fuel. CSRs there recognized the mistake, but said they couldnt refund it in the store, but that I had to call the 1-800 no. Unacceptable for me to have to have an added burden b/c of a glitch in THEIR system.

They made me pay for an extra day of rental that was offered to me for free. I didnt ask for the day to be given for free, it was simply offered. The clerk there named Erica was not helpful at all in helping me resolve the issue. She basically said it wasnt her fault and I shouldnt give them a bad review. I told her someone had to get a negative review for thia and since this is the number I called for a days extension, I have to place the review on this place particularly. She said after the phone rings 3 times it gets directed somewhere else and in order to resolve the issue, I must call 1800GOUHAUL, well, i did that and the problem still isnt resolved. Oh well, its just $40 but in principal, it is still aggravating. I received a call from this store, but, if Erica is right, every time I try to call it rings more than 3 times and I will get redirected to another place. Maybe the manager shouldve given his direct number when he left a message on my voicemail. I work on a boat 2 weeks on and 1 week off, so, I havent been able to go back in person and I havent been contacted again.

Buyer beware...they dont explain things to you on the phone when you call to inquire.. Furthermore they dont explaing everything face to face. Like returning the truck they tell me you didnt put a deposit down....uh was i suppose to just volunteer a deposit...no one mentioned a deposit. A plus i did get an extension on my time. Been using Budget..will go back to them.

Never going back. I can pay a little more somewhere else and get the truck when I need it. They gave me a confimation number on a truck, but the truck was reserved when I got there. I had to go 25 miles to get another truck, and they charge the milage, so thats $50 more for just getting the truck. They also gave me a truck from 6pm to 2am when I asked for 8am to 4pm. Who moves at night? Horrible

Service is spotty and the price was doubled from what I reserved online. Plus they didnt even give me the dolly that was on my reservation. The storage units have cockroaches and we had to buy our own bug spray to keep them off our stuff. We tried to talk to them about it but they did nothing and didnt care. We moved our stuff immediately. Not coming back to this location again.

Had to wait cause they are under staffed and asked for 3 days but got 2 and then over charged when I did not bring back on 2nd day. My destination Uhaul final storage resting place was great but not before visiting 3 others that horrible customer service!

There is no continuity of employees, you may call with an issue one time and 10 minutes later you have to re-explain everything. Had an issue with my trailer lights, they did not work. Worst part of all the mechanic on duty let me leave the yard with no working lights on the trailer.Several times I called the, after to schedule an appointment with the mechanic to have the lights looked at and was told by someone on the front desk that he would call me back. Long story short I went somewhere else.On a different note I have walked in the store before and waited around for 10 minutes with no one even coming to the desk to assist me. I was alone in the store. The only reason they dont get 0 stars is because its not an option

The owner apparently does not know his employees. I was told one thing and charged another. I was maliciously charged fees for whatever they could think of. I was rented the truck with an 1/8 tank of gas and returned it with just over a tank. However, I was charged for gas, $110. And even though I cleaned the truck before I returned it, I was also charged a cleaning fee of $43. And for some reason I was also charged $330 for a one day rental, after I had already paid $100 cash the day of the rental. My total ended of being $532 for a one day rental. They did subtract the $100 that I paid in cash which brought the total $432. I tried to dispute it with the owner who said he would call me back but never did and wouldnt answer my calls. I later received an invoice stating that I have a balance due of $462, which means they somehow added another $30. Bottom line, these people are a bunch of rip-offs and I wouldnt recommend them to any of my military, business or family members. And by the way the owner, Dick, said he didnt know who the female was that rented me the truck. How could you not know your employees, she was the only one working inside that day and there was a male working outside who happened to be inside at the time.

My husband and i Went here yesterday after i got off work around 4:30 to get a storage unit and reserve a truck for our move this week. When we came in one sales associate was with a customer the other was on her cell phone and finally acknowledged us. When i asked abiut hetting a storage unit i was rudely cut off before i finished talking and told that they were closing at 5 and she cant serve us because ahe needed to close her cash box. I wasnt paying cash and in all my years of customer service if you are open till 5 then u take cuatomers untill 5 no matter what. So i will never go here again and will take my money to another storage and truck rental place

They gave us a 26ft truck that was in major need of work. Power steering would go out, truck was badly damaged, headlights hardly worked and the list goes on.

I rented a storage unit from there all my stuff got ruined due to a leak in their roof. Insurance paid it but not until a big ordeal because they told me to throw all my stuff out (but I couldnt use their dumpster) and the insurance companies policy is for you to keep the stuff until they release it.Then they had the audacity to continue to charge me for a unit that had nothing in it but mold .

Truck not fill up,took 4.3 gallons to go 16 miles

Long story short, made a reservation and they canceled it as I walked in the door, made a second reservation and they canceled that also on my way to get the truck. They sent me across town to other locations they said had trucks available, to find out they were gone. Finally charged me a little over $250 to rent a truck smaller than I needed for 18hrs and gave me limited miles. I was literally moving less than 15 miles across town. Dont use this place.
