Tulsi, was a pleasure to deal with when choosing furniture. She made the process fun and enjoyable and added great ideas without being pushy. I would absolutely use LA Z Boy again when buying furniture!

Went looking for a recliner or chair/ottoman. Greeted by staff. Told her what Id like to look at. She showed me several options. I sat in all of them and liked the Meyer style best. Ordered that day - Monday. An opening for delivery was available for the following Friday. Thursday I was forwarded a time window for delivery. Friday I was able to follow truck and know when they were near. Gentlemen delivered timely and carefully place my new chair/ottoman right where I asked. 10 minutes later. I signed the receipt and they were on their way. Perfect, easy process much appreciated.

Andy was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I knew which sofas I wanted but wasn’t sure what color. He took his time showing me different options. He explained everything thoroughly and had me check out two samples so I could make my decision with confidence. Andy has also kept in touch with updates, I can’t wait for them to arrive.

Easy shopping I looked at several pieces Tulsi was so helpful she gave me quotes on several options of the pieces I liked. Returned the follow day and placed my order, no hassle and I was able to adjust the delivery time to my schedule. Great experience all around, thanks to Tulsi.

I want to start by saying this is not about the product which I have no issue with but the level of customer service and professionalism that is part of the ongoing issue with La-Z-Boy of Gurnee. They have continued to display a total lack of concern for the customer, have not come thru with one aspect of the things they have promised. The screw you attitude has left us wishing we had never set foot in the showroom. Rebecca (the sales manager) was the culmination of a bad experience made worse. I recommend you shop anywhere other then this store. I know I will never shop there again.

I had a great experience with Linda at the Gurnee location. She was very patient, kind and answered all of my questions throughout our search. I was honest with her and mentioned there was another option available at half the price elsewhere. She respected my honesty and even said she understood that this was an investment. I never felt any pressure to buy during the entire process. Although we went for the other option, I would 100% work with Linda again. The only complaint I would say is that it’s hard to get a hold of an associate on the phone when calling the store (tried to update Linda, but no answer).

The furniture is still some of the best quality, but buying furniture at a Lazy Boy store is like buying a car at a shady dealer. I picked out the piece, the salesman (very friendly) took the tag and walked away for 10 minutes only to come back with a rough estimate of the price. Then I was told the delivery charge would be $100! This is 2021, not 2009. It’s time to get on the “free delivery” bandwagon. I am no business major, but there has to be a way to save money elsewhere. A $500 coffee table takes $100 for delivery and $40 to pick it up myself? Why am I paying to have a piece brought to the store? Also, I have to walk to the back where the salesperson tells a person at a desktop computer the information from scribbles on his notebook, misspelling my name so badly that it is not even close. That seems to open the door for errors in shipping/item numbers and details. There should be a one step process for ringing up a piece of furniture. In short, the quality is the same as it was in the 1950s, but the sales techniques are stuck there too.

My entire living room is La-Z-Boy furniture. I had one recliner that was over 20 years old that needed to be replaced due to a very naughty puppy. I got a new recliner that is beautiful and very comfortable. I recommend this store very highly, they have very knowledgeable sales people to help you get just what you want.

Worked with Linda, she was great! Very patient and knowledgeable. If the furniture comes sooner than expected that would make the experience perfect! We have to wait quite a long time before we get to enjoy our purchase.

Ms. Cordova helped us figure out what patterns were available and showed us furniture on the floor in patterns we were considering. She also put sofas in our selected materials on the computer screen so we could see the exact model of the sofa we had selected in the material we were considering. What I especially liked about Ms. Cordova is that she was not overly intrusive, but was there when we wanted/needed her assistance.Lazy-boy had a great selection of styles and patterns to choose from. I wish my order would take less than 6 months to come in, but I think it’s worth waiting for!

Went in with a friend, they wanted a couch, i went to window shop. The sales man was very polite, let us know the sales going on and where the clearance section was. Didnt hover, and was very fast to respond when we had questions. I ended up getting a a chair, he let me know what the prices were, optional additions and let me decide if i wanted to buy then and there or wait to purchase later. We loved how many different styles, colors and items were in the store to look at. We got all of our questions answered and the designer was super helpful with picking out multiple pieces! The ordering process went very smoothWe can’t wait to receive our new living room set!

After searching many furniture stores in the area without any luck, we walked in to La-z-boy with a tape measure, looking for a couch that would fit our living room. We were immediately greeted by Anne. She listened to us, answered our questions and got right to work. She suggested we speak with the designer Yajaira to search size options in the couch we liked but was to large. After providing her with dimensions via email, she was able to create an almost exact replica of our living room, to modify and fit the couch we liked in our living room free of charge. We met again the next day and we were able to see the couch we wanted in the size we needed right on the computer. My wife and I did not think we would be purchasing a couch this soon but they provided what we wanted and made it easy not to turn down. For us, we did not have to settle for a couch that just fit regardless if we liked it or not, we now have a couch we love in the the prefect size. The professionalism & friendliness Anne & Yojaira showed us was top notch. Good Job!

We have bought furniture from lazy boy twice. This past weekend we were looking for a sectional. We are always hesitant to tell the sales person what we are looking for to avoid unwanted pressure. However we took a big breath and dove in. A good decision. The sales person took us to see choices of exactly what we were looking for. We were able to order the Perfect piece for our needs in a short period of time. No pressure just a lot of knowledge. The flexibility in design was so helpful. We were able to keep in budget too. We have to wait 4 months now which is disappointing but understandable because of Covid. Very pleased with our experience.

Shopped at the Gurnee showroom for a new sofa and chair. Linda was helpful and attentive. Purchased a reclining loveseat with a console, a reclining chair and coffee table. The store was clean, organized and provided design ideas with many displays for every room in the house.

Buyers beware!! Everything out of stock and lies on when furniture will arrive... 3-5+ month wait times and this is just my story along with coworkers Ive heard complaining. They are simply selling furniture they can not produce. If you plan on making purchases ask your salesman when your furniture will arrive. You will be met with hostility and treated as if you are wasting their time. No we will waive delivery or discount a cent just attitude and blowing smoke to all their customers then on to the next mark. If you cant produce it dont sell it end of story. That is what out of stock is and your store needs to use it... Not an entire showroom of furniture with no clue when anything will arrive after youve made your purchase. Horrendous service met with shady salespeople.

This location must be going out of business. Need repair on recliner and cannot EVER get anyone to answer phone. Went in and told person who handles scheduling on vacation.Bottom line: while Ive purchased 2 rooms of furniture from them, Id never recommend them.

The salesperson, Anny at the Gurnee store was very helpful in showing me different sofa sleepers and helped me pick out different fabric swatches to take home and compare the different colors. Last weekend I went to La-Z-Boy in Gurnee to check out some living room furniture. I was so happy with their customer service. Our Sales Associate Terry was so helpful. He was so attentive to what we were asking for. He showed us options that totally would fit my specific space. No pressure at all. Yajaira came to my house the same day and was able to make a diagram of my awkward living room space. She than showed us different options and layouts. Again no pressure at all! It was a small town shop feel for sure. I was so very happy with my service there. I have not one negative thing to say about them. I would recommend them 100%!!! Such a positive experience!

Delivery was great and we love the couch but the delivery people left one of the covers and their jacket at our house and I couldn’t get through to let someone know at the store through customer service. I’d love for them to get their possessions back and happily change my review!

Terrific service! Went in to buy a couch and there were so many to choose from. We didn’t know where to start! Terry, our salesman, spent a long time helping us find what we were looking for and was full of information! There was no pressure, no gimmicks, he left us alone to wander but was available when we had questions. The store was very clean, everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was available in several places throughout the store. It was a pleasant experience and we can’t wait to get our new couch!

Staff in the store were thoroughly helpful and professional. My only complaint is how difficult it is to get someone on the phone. Out of several phone attempts during business hours, only once did someone actually answer.

I hate buying furniture but Laz-Z-Boy Gurnee made this process a breeze. We were greeted at the door and given a basic overview of how the store was organized and then left alone to check out the furniture. Our sales rep Anny was great! She gave us some ideas and helped us make decisions based on which couch we liked the best. We met with the in-house designer who helped us visualize our couch within our room dimensions and added the custom material to our couch choice. The price point was fair for the high quality product. Overall I would highly recommend Laz-Z-Boy Gurnee.

Needed a recliner for husband who is having surgery next week. Terry Robb was VERY helpful. He found us a chair in stock in Glenview that can be controlled with a left hand. He spent a lot of time with us in the store and also searching for one locally in his system . We drove to Glenview and purchased the chair. Received the chair today. We live the chair ——.I also left a review on the Glenview Lazyboy for the manager named Darrell because he personally drove the chair to our house for us (which is approx 35 miles) due to a delivery glitch). Very pleased with the service we received at both locations.

Anny was very helpful acquainting me with options and providing guidance about fabric that should hold up well to the “living” we do on our family room furniture. This is our second time buying La-Z-Boy furniture for our family room. The departure from it last time did not turn out as well as expected. Did not look too many other places when selecting furniture this time. I do wish there had been more print fabric options for sofas. Although, we are going to use print pillows to add visual interest to our new solid sofa and swivel chair.

Not a pressure sale, sat on many different recliners and love the purchase made. The manager was heart warming, caring and truly wanted me to pick the recliner that best fit me!

Eh its Lazy Boy. Went to check out couches and the prizes are obscene and the leed times for delivery is at least 6 weeks...well buy no see you next year. Come on. And really no one is into custom stuff. Please focus on what you have and need people.

The service at the La-Z-Boy store was good, however I am disappointed at the wait for delivery. I was told 8 weeks which at the time I thought was long, however with the way things are going, I accepted it. When the 8 weeks were here, I called and they said it would be another 4 weeks or more. This did not make me happy, but Linda who I talked to said she would take the delivery fee off which was OK but I still wont get my chairs.

Rebekah took her time and placed zero pressure on us while considering a choice for new furniture.

We had a great experience buying furniture for our living room. We were assisted by the sales manager, Dan Foran, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful but not at all pushy. He allowed my husband and I the time we needed to figure out which pieces we were interested in and answered all the questions we had. He gave us the best deal possible. We were also able to see a 3D rendering of our living room with the pieces that we picked out and had guidance from one of the interior designers in selecting an area rug. We would highly recommend and we would definitely go back.

After twenty years, our sofa is looking a bit thread bare in a few spots, so we went to look at a new one. The salesperson, Linda, was very knowledgeable and helpful. She showed us the new power models. At first I thought I wouldnt want a power sofa, but the lumbar feature and adjustable headrest sold me on it. We have been very happy with our old La-Z-Boy sofa and I look forward to receiving the new one.

I really wanted 2 new La-Z-Boy chairs since we’ve had our current La-Z-Boy chairs are over 20 years old. The store was clean and inviting and Dan was amazing. He knew his stock and after telling him what I wanted he not only helped me find what I was looking for but made the shopping enjoyable. I can’t wait to see our new chairs and relax.

Best buying experience I’ve ever had. Terry and Carlita were the best. With not knowing what to do with the space Carlita came to my home measured everything and gave me some ideas. Next day came back to the store and showed me the layout on her computer. From there I decided on my couches and couldn’t be happier!! Highly recommend

Dan is the best furniture salesperson that I’ve ever met. He is really knowledgeable about the furnitures and has great taste. I am short, just 5ft, and I needed a chair that I would be comfortable in as many chairs are built for people a lot taller, and most of the time, my feet can’t reach the ground. Dan helped me find one and it’s super comfortable, and super stylish! And la-z-boy has a ton of choices for fabric and leather, you can definitely find one that would fit your style.I would recommend Dan to everyone I know!

Sales person was ok, had computer problem. Thought delivery fee a bit much, changed fabric on chair and cost was a little high. At my age itll be the last time, I buy good furniture. Ive had La-Z-Boy for 40 years.
