Keep in mind we’re from the Texas panhandle and all this was done through phone calls and email. The van is so much more than I ever dreamed we’d have. Since going into a wheelchair in 2019, I thought it would be cool to get a wheelchair accessible van to make my life easier and regain my independence. I stopped by Newby-Vance in August 2019 to check out my options. Marcus Newby was very informative and suggested I apply for assistance through the Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS). I did so and eventually qualified for them to cover the accessories I needed making the van affordable. Following Covid delays I finally took possession of my van September 9, 2020. Though buying a van conversion is different than the average vehicle (no dickering on the price), I did research and got a great deal on the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. Marcus went above and beyond establishing a working relationship that makes me comfortable. I will use their service center for maintenance. I recommend Newby-Vance highly.

Newby Vance was amazingly patient with us in our van buying process. They brought the van to us to test drive and to purchase, worked with us on financing, and got reasonable payments that fit exactly the budget we were in the market for. Jason Williamson is a fantastic professional that explained everything to us and what he didn’t know, he quickly found out for us. Great experience and we are so happy with our ‘new’ used accessible VMI Toyota Sienna.Edit: We are happy with our purchase but the van was sold with a leak that we didn’t notice because we had it brought to us and not sitting in a parking lot for us to see but it was under the car the day after we bought it with us never haven’t driven it after purchase. If you buy a van not at the lot, make sure you watch out for leaks before you buy it. A bit disappointed in that. And that the car wasn’t detailed as promised but that is a small thing and no big deal.

Newby-Vance has serviced my wifes mobility minivan seat twice - once on an emergency and a second time for routine service. I have found them to be very responsive and with reasonable costs. On the emergency, they were able to worked me in without an appointment to get the seat working while I waited. Newby Vance installed a Joey lift in our Toyota Sienna Van. We had done some online research about lifts and had a ton of questions before we decided to spend the money. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. No high pressure sales, just made sure we had the information we needed to make the right choice. When we ordered the lift, they were careful to make sure we got the best fit for our needs. The actual installations took only half a day, so we were not without our van for very long. Then they gave us full training on the use of the lift and answered more questions before we drove away. These people were great to do business with and now we are mobile! Prior to this we were loading my husband’s mobility scooter on a ramp. It was getting harder for us to do and so we just didn’t use it very often. Now we can just push a button and watch it load. Ive been getting your can for the last 12-15 years, and Id love to get another one. But unfortunately my last can which is a 2006 Dodge Caravan was and still is the main reason I wont be getting a Chrysler/Molar product.Unlike maybe many who have to rely on a modified version vehicle to get me around, yes a need a modified vehicle, but I dont have the convenience of someone who can change me if I have an unfortunate accident on myself.I dont know when they started no allowing the 3rd roll Seat to pay flat, but since I e had this 2006 Dodge Caravan, Ive never felt more like a prisoner in my on car, which has caused me to miss out on countless things, because not everyone who has become a paraplegic, can rely on the bowel and bladder protocol that the medical so-called professional have played out.Maybe or maybe they that is my fault, but unfortunately I dont eat the same time each day, and since every level of injury is different maybe my problems run much deeper then some would like to believe.Ill also be writing a Follow up letter to the Chrysler Corp., on the same issues.

I looked for a van for about 9 months, with the help of someone here in Tulsa. Never got much help, so I finally called Newby/Vance. Id put off calling because of no price listed, I thought I would be pressured. That was my mistake. Jim was nice, no pressure an knowledgeable. Weset up a time, he came to Tulsa, and took it for a test drive. Jims great. Newby/Vance is great. This was my first time buying a car from a dealer, an it was a great experience.

Writing this review for my grandmother: Sherry PeckWhen my husband began dialysis treatments we had a regular Mini SUV which soon became difficult o get him in and out of the car. I went to see Jim Seeger-Newby, Ph. D at Newby Vance in Guthrie, OK in August 2015. Jim was very compassionate and helpful and introduced me to the mobility vehicle. I purchased a used 2014 Dodge Caravan that was already converted to mobility. He helped us with my husbands power chair to be fitted to the Dodge.In November 2017, we updated to a used 2017 Chrysler Pacifica at Newby Vance and traded in our 2014 Dodge. They changed the EZ LOCK from the Dodge to the Chrysler and we were ready to continue our normal routine of dialysis and doctor appointments.During the ownership of both vehicles, anytime and any place I had a problem with the mobility part of the vehicles, one phone call is all it took to get help wherever we happened to be, whether at home, dialysis or some other place. They also took care of all my regular mobility checkups and oil changes. I cant say enough positive things about the service we have received from the establishment. I wholeheartedly recommend them if you have a handicap situation in your family. Jim and Marcus Newby are both qualified and wonderful to work with.

VERY HELPFUL AND TRUSTWORTHY!RE: EZ Lock installationI had originally taken my van I purchased from out of state to United, but they kept delaying the install. They ultimately decided not to help me unless I bought a $1700 foot rest from them. (I bought one online for $50). So, I frantically called Newby-Vance in Guthrie to help. Marcus Newby took my call and booked me that day. So, the very same morning I called I was able to drive my van home by the end of business!! AMAZING!! Everyone was super nice and helpful. I could stay in my car while they fit the plate under the electric wheelchair and so I didn’t have to transfer seats repeatedly! Which, as you know, is a hassle. They fitted my electric chair to be the drivers chair and helped me get acclimated to getting positioned in the van safely. I will be returning for my regular ez lock maintenance checks! Thank you to all the gentlemen at Newby-Vance!! I was able to get in my van without help and drive to work all by myself this morning! There will be no more reluctance in going places due to feeling unsafe getting in and out of my vehicle anymore!

My wife and I were referred to Newby-Vance Mobility due to her diagnosis of ALS, and that she will be in a Power Wheel Chair. I could not believe the level of respect that everyone showed for my wife and I. They made sure to make sure she was comfortable, let her use a loaner power chair to get around the car lot and office area and always keeping her out of the heat. It was 102 degrees that day and the heat was almost unbearable. But the people at Newby-Vance Mobility kept us in the air conditioning either in the office or when we were in a vehicle. They made the purchasing of the wheel chair equipped vehicle very pleasant, making sure we were satisfied with the price and comfort of our selection. It was one of the most pleasant vehicle purchases that we have ever had!! We’ve had positive experiences with Newby Vance Mobility every time we’ve visited. We were able to find a van that would meet our needs on our first visit. FYI Saturdays are only available by appointment to look at vehicles and you can’t get your mobility conversion serviced on a Saturday. We told them in advance that we didn’t want to purchase any additional offers and they respected that request which led to the fasted vehicle purchase we’ve ever made! I’m talking maybe 1.5 hr tops. They did recommend gap coverage which we decided to purchase. We have had our van for a year now and we bring it to the Guthrie location to have the mobility conversion serviced. We also have a drive train warranty which requires that we get the oil changes and van service done on time and has to be at one of two (I think) Vance locations in Oklahoma. We’ve driven our van across the US twice with no issues. The EZ Lock (locks the power chair in place) works great and is easy to use. Both Newby gentlemen (father and son) are pleasant to work with. They are both patient and really take the time to explain everything. You can tell they have experience and listen to customer needs because they explain things you wouldn’t have thought of if you’ve never had an accessible van before. All other staff we’ve worked with have been amazing. One even comes to the ALS support group in OKC periodically so she will be available to answer questions and hear about the needs/concerns of these patients and families. Of course, it’s marketing for them, but she is sincere and truly wants to help. Overall, we would recommend checking this place out to see if they have a vehicle that can keep you going the places you’d like to go!

A wonderful place to do business!! I just had them install a lift for my wheelchair, and they did a wonderful job. They knew what they were doing, and were very professional. They did a much better job than the medical equipment store that installed my first one. I just happened to find this dealership in a paper at my Dr.s office, and I am sure glad I did. The only other place in town that does these now, has a difficult time even calling you back, and were going to take 2 weeks to get it installed. Newby-Vance got on it the minute the lift came in and had it ready to go the same day. I doubt I will ever go to anyone else now. Good Job!!!!

I experienced a mechanical emergency early one weekday morning. I called Jim and he invited me to bring my truck in even though their service schedule was full. Jim and Earl worked me into the schedule and got me fixed and back on the road within a couple of hours. There is no way to improve on that service.
