I have been getting my automotive batteries from the Hanover, PA location since they were in Hanover with no issues- until this year. Not quite two years ago I needed and bought 2 6-year batteries for my van and truck. This year the battery in my truck went bad, leaving me set twice. Took it to Battery Warehouse and they did replace it with a small pro-rated charge, as I expected. A couple months later, the battery in my van went bad in the same way it did in the truck. Again, I took it to Battery Warehouse. But this time, the guy (different from the first guy) said I needed to take the van home, remove the battery and bring it back in!!? They would charge it overnight and do tests on it the next day! If the tests show it was the battery, it would be replaced!!! I tried to explain the van was handicapped equipped and was the only way I had to transport my wheelchair bound wife, and we had doctor appointments the next morning. I needed the van to run. He said sorry- it was their policy! So I guess if you have only one vehicle and live miles away, youll have a long walk carrying a battery. He needed to give me a jump so I could leave and go buy a battery at AutoZone. Last time Battery Warehouse will ever get my business. BTW- the battery was the issue in both cases. The new battery is working finie.

I usually goto the Westminster location and the guys there could not be any nicer and always go above and beyond. I found myself today in Hanover PA and needing a battery and decided to stop into this location. I walked in and waited 4 minutes or so and a guy sleepily comes out of the back to greet me. I asked him if he could check the charge on my battery and he asked me to bring the battery into the store! He made it very apparent he did not want to venture outside. It was like pulling teeth trying to get him out and when he finally made up his mind to take the cold, frigid trek 5 steps outside he disappeared in the back to get his jacket and gloves and 4 minutes later he came out and told me I did need a new battery and had it in stock. I had already made up my mind I wouldnt give this guy or location my business and headed home.

Been dealing with these folks for many years and never had any issues. Just today I replaced the battery in my truck and was in and out within a few minutes.

If I could give it zero stars I would, went in to find a battery for the flash light on my shotgun. He asked what kind of battery and I said im not sure to be honest with you. He then refused to help me in anyway to find out. He was rude and lacked any sort of people skills to be working in customer service or retail. I wont be returning
