Learn about mattresses in boxes!Today I bought a Nectar mattress and realized that the mattress had not been expanding correctly. I then noticed that the mattress has been in the box for over a year! Nectar mattresses deform and deteriorate after being in the box for 90 days. As a result, the corners are raised and it is flatter than it should be. I do not blame the guy, Andrew who sold us the mattress as he was kind and he made the process go smoothly. I am looking to see what I can do to solve my issue.One thing is for sure, do not buy a box mattress in a store! Feel free to try it out in-store, but please, buy them online unless you are sure of the manufacturing date!

Our current mattress is about 15 to 20 years old. Needless to say it is in sad shape. Over the last 5 years I have a number of issues with my spine and knees. I have had 4 vertebrae fused in my neck and my entire lumber spine area worked on. I have had a knee replaced and need the other one done. I now need a second cervical spine surgery. I have been sleeping in a recliner for the past 6 months sleeping, trying to, in a recliner. So we stopped in at the Mattress Warehouse store to take a look. Gia was extremely helpful. We did the test to see what mattress would be recommended. Gia suggested the firm king size that has split controls for the head and feet. I was able to get very comfortable on my side and my wife had hers set totally different then me. So lo and behold, we are having it delivered next week!! Once again, Gia was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put money down on a possible single bed just as a possibility and nothing more, no commitment! If you try to recoup that money however thats when you get to talk to everyone that works for them and Im just short of a month from asking for a refund and I have only had the money refunded to my credit card as of Fri.! Be careful with this company or you could pay double for a product of equal quality and with only half of the warranty! Fast talking with there ultimate sleep experience machine that determines the exact sleep experience tailored just for you! I havent seen such a dog and Pony show like Ive seen here in years! Hey,they sell bedding and you will definitely pay for that ultimate sleep experience as determined by the awesome machine that says so, LOL. This is my opinion and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone, thats unless I dont like you! Believe me, I try to be fair and give everyone the benefit of a fair evaluation but in this case I feel nothing but burned!

We are recently moving in to the area and needed a new bed. We had ordered a bed frame online but were not comfortable purchasing a mattress until we actually tried it out. Since we have slept in a waterbed for years (but our current landlord doesnt allow them) we needed to educate ourselves about what mattress would be best for us. Positive experiences with hotel beds assured us that we could becomfortable with a traditional mattress.After doing some research we discovered that a hybrid mattress might be best for us and positive customer experiences we read about led us to one of at least a few Mattress Warehouse stores in the Harrisburg area.We were in the store on a Friday evening...the only customers in the store. Since we had some idea of what we wanted, we asked the salesperson to show us some of our options. The price tags for the mattresses were literally hidden so we had no idea if what we were looking at was in our price range. This was a big turn off. We would have preferred honest information up front rather than this sales tactic. With a store full of mattresses we were shown only a few until we pressed a little harder to be shown more. Of course the mattresses that were really on sale were in the back corner of the store and we were not welcome back there.The salesperson was friendly and chatty. We did not feel pressured to make a quick decision. It might have been helpful for her to explain why she chose to show us certain models and not any of the other many mattresses on the floor. As we looked at the individual mattresses, we also looked at the Consumer Reports score for the model we were being shown.We used the machine that supposedly helps match you with the correct mattress. Perhaps it gave the salesperson some direction but we also had to listen to an annoying commercial. Because of that the process took longer than it needed to.In the end we did purchase a mattress that cost us around $1,100.00. We believe that it is good quality but the sticker shock was significant. We are hopeful that the choice we made was the right one for us and that we will enjoy the mattress for years to come. However, we would have had a much better experience without the gimmicky sales tactics promoted by this company.

The store has an electronic survey paired with a special bed that was able to generate several mattress recommendations for us. Andrew was then able to work with us to find beds similar to those in the list we liked. We were given disposable mattress covers that we carried throughout the store as we tried out a wide variety of beds and a few different pillows. In the 90 minutes we were there we never felt rushed and Andrew was able to answer any questions we had. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this store to others.

Buying a mattress today is so much easier then it was 12 year ago. I recommend going to Mattress Warehouse on Grayson Rd.I stepped in the door and was welcomed by Jose. Jose set me up on Bedmatch, then gave me the results of my perfect match, had me try out multiple mattress according to my results in multiple price ranges. Jose was very knowledgeable with all the mattresses. I did not feel any pressure to make a purchase and Jose was very patient with me. I would recommend this store to anyone. I did quite a bit of research on where I wanted to go far as Ashley furniture, mattress firm, and a lot of local furniture stores. With it being November this place was having some decent deals. I was fortunate to get someone named Jose. Because I came in with my two young kids. He was absolutely patient and knowledgeable about their products. He made sure ibwas getting the right mattress and understood I had a budget and not just push some $3000 dollar mattress on me like most people would have. I really couldnt say anything negative about this particular location. I thought even the manager was great when he came out to assist in the check out process.

The salesman working on 9/26/2020 at 4:30 pm was very rude on Saturday. Within seconds of being in the store, he shouted hi 3 times as we walked in the door and each time I responded back with hi. Then, he quickly came over and aggressively asked about what I planned to spend on a mattress. Out of nowhere, he went on a weird tirade about $3,000 mattresses for children. My wife said nothing to him and we turned around to walk out of the store. This made the salesman angry and he called my wife rude for choosing to walk out of the store. All prior conversation was between him and I, not my wife. So, I cursed out this unprofessional jerk and took my business elsewhere. I found a great deal on a brand name childrens mattress at a another store for under $3,000 (lol). Avoid this store when this salesman is working!

We had a great experience today at the Swatara location. I was apprehensive when I walked in thinking this was going to be another experience that I get when Im buying a car. Jose greeted us and felt more comfortable right away. The bedMatch experience was very helpful as it narrowed down the choices of beds based on what was compatible with both my husband and me. We got to try a nice range of beds in all price ranges and I never felt pressured to buy a more expensive bed than I was ready to pay for. Jose was so nice and also really knowledgeable about the manufacturers and the specs of each bed. All our questions were answered and we felt confident that we had made a great purchase when we left the store. I will be recommending this location to everyone I know that might be looking for a new mattress. Bottom line, I wish my car buying experiences were as pleasant as buying this mattress.

So I went in just looking for a cheap mattress and left with a great mattress box spring and frame. I had the greatest customer service from Austin. He was so informative and helpful. He made sure I would get the correct mattress my body needs. Theres also a couple financing options he let me know about and all I had to do was pay 40$ today. Michael is a very generous person. He came over to introduce himself and ask us what type of mattress we are looking for. After he show us the different kind of mattress, he explain to us the different payment options. It was interesting to know that there is a payment option to build your credit while making monthly payments and having the mattress in your home. I am very please with the way he does business.

I went in to test out different style mattresses with the idea of not spending much. Andrew was nice enough to do the bed test with me to find out what style beds would best fit me. He then was considerate enough to ask what my ideal price was and showed me just a few so that I didnt have much confusion. I went back and forth between 3 for a while. He was very patient and allowed me to take my time. In the end I went a little higher price and Andrew was able to get me a longer finance program!
