Kroger has a Nice Staff!! I Love their Deli - Best Fried chicken ever!! Rotterssie Chickens too and All the meats to Choose From are Wonderful. I love the Seafood Dept and Everything is Fresh. The Daily Specials are Great. Your Pharmacist Robert Retired and Attitudes have Developed in Your Pharmacy but I corrected the Problem. Everything Else is Great and I like your Specials 10 for$10.

Manager was horrible. I waited over 20 minutes for her to return to her break because no other employees know how to work the front desk. When I wanted to return an item she couldnt even help me and was rude the whole time, they need to train more employees to work the front desk and re-evaluate who they have as managers

Went to pay my gas bill and was treated so rude by a employee named Danny. He refused to let me pay my bill. I never had a problem before. Always greeted by respectful ladies and asked how my day was going as they processed my bill. Well this boy cussed me up and down and told me he was not going let me pay and to leave. When I asked for manager he said none was on duty and he was going call the cops. Am sorry but in all time alive I never been treated by customer service like this. I called 1800 number and tomorrow I will be calling local to.

Purchased mushrooms on a Tuesday and Wednesday they smelled like dead fish and were slimy. The “sell by” date was still 4 days away. Terrible first impression of the store.

I went to Kroger today and I asked for help from three different employees before anybody helped me, . TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

I have shopped krogers pharmacy for 40 years...always great service until this last year..I have made several complaints, to both Kroger corporate office and local.. My husband was told the pharmacy has at least 10 complaints a day and they have nothing to do with it. Needless to say I will be changing pharmacies..Really sad after 40 years of business but they dont seem to be concerned about it.

I just had to pick up a couple of things including their great Southern Style potato salad but unfortunately all they had was the small containers. This caused me to spend more than normal. Try the Kroger jalapeno mustard!

I go to Krogers to pick up my moms prescriptions, they have never had them ready. She had a new one called in yesterday afternoon, we waited until noon today to pick it up. First they asked about her insurance, shes had the same insurance for over 2 years, and then they told me that I would have to wait 45 minutes. I walked out! This has happened at least 3 other times this year!! Or they dont have her meds in stock. When refilling rxs we always wait 2 days and sometimes 3, but for some reason they still arent ready for pickup.

I felt like I was back home in Tennessee. I miss this store. We dont have one where I am currently.

Kroger is running a special on bottled soda, but there was no diet/caffeine free available. That is the second time I have made a trip to the Kroger in Harrisonburg and was not able to purchase what I wanted.I am very disappointed!

Great grocery shopping experience. Very helpful staff. Always stocked well. Special orders. No problem. Manager deals are awesome, and ask for further discounts. They will accommodate you if they can.

Store was very clean and well organized. I did have trouble locating two products but was helped immediately by an employee there. They always have great deals on items that I care about. I always recommend Kroger to other stores in the area because of the quality and price of their products and produce.

Their deli employees suck. They walk past you and ignore that you are there. I had this happen 3or4 times recently. Always loved this store not so much anymore .

My husband does all the grocery shopping so I am reviewing this for him. He likes the meat selection and seafood choices here much better than Martins. They have good sale prices too. Easy enough to get in and out of the parking lot. Everytime I go there with him, they actually have plenty of registers open. There are some other grocery stores and big box stores that could learn a lesson from them. Would recommend.

Kroger has the best tasting meat of any grocery store in the area except for maybe Costco, but Krogers sale prices of good meat makes it the best deal, imo. The folks that work there are very professional, friendly and helpful. Cant say enough good things about most of the folks that work there. Krogers own sausage and chicken brands are at least as good, if not better, than the big name brands.

You need to be price savvy or you may spend too much. Neighborhood market of Walmart stopped carrying item I like. Kroger has them. Sale prices are worth the journey to Kroger . I do find the staff very friendly.

My niece ordered a cake online for her graduation party. The representative totally missed the fact the cake was to be picked up today Thursday. Instead, she placed all of the orders for a Saturday pickup. Not sure why someone would make an assumption like that. Sadly, she ended up picking from the cake selections in the counter. They were gracious enough to reduce the day-old or older cake to half price. Not much of a compensation as far as I am concerned. Will not be going back there again...

At the corner of University Blvd and E Market St will be the turn for the Kroger Supermarket. This chain has been in business for atleast 135 years. That says a lot about their mission statement, quality, longevity and passion to stay competitive in todays ever changing marketplace.Their prices are great, shelves are stocked, brands are plentiful, and their staff is friendly and attentive. Check out was quick even though there was a crowd. People were getting supplies due to a major power outage in the area.We even said due to the prices it might be worth a 2 hour day trip just to shop in the area.

Krogers sale prices make it my favorite grocery store. The regular prices can be somewhat on the high side but they always have great sales. The Kroger store brand items are very high quality. I love the pharmacy as rx prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly.

Everyone loves Kroger because of their Store Specials throughout the store, Fresh Fried Chicken in their Deli, Great Seafood Prices, Fresh Vegetables & Beautiful Flowers and Also their Friendly Staff. But Your Fruit is not there ... Veggies okay but There isnt any Fruit!!!

Kroger is my favorite grocery store to buy groceries but it dont stand up to other Krogers Ive shopped at. Im use to the Krogers in the Richmond, VA area so this disappoints a little especially at times when they dont have what I need and since they dont offer what the other stores offer. This is a smaller and older store which I believe needs to be expanded to offer everything Kroger has to offer, gas included. Sometimes I have to ride down to Stanton for some of those reasons. As long as Im here, Kroger will always be my go to store but if they dont have what I need, I have to go to other grocery stores in the area.

Service was no good. I stood for 4 minutes waiting for cafeteria worker to serve me because she was wiping up chicken crumbs but she never acknowledged me so I walked off with no chicken. Then I got to self checkout and an item wouldnt scan so a young tall boy yanked it out of my hand and scanned it. I was taken back because he too was very rude. I Will Not RETURN to KROGERS on East Market Street Harrisonburg VA

Martins is close and strictly better. Prices are high here and the store feels cramped. But if it was the only grocery store in town it would do fine.

Never had a bad experience here. Customer service was very helpful and the store is nicely laid out.

The overall grocery store is okay. Not the cleaniest store in the world.The pharmacy however is awful. I went in today to get a flu shot. I filled out the required form, which took less than five minutes.After providing my insurance card, I was told that it was only going to be a twenty minute process, from start to finish.After waiting for over a half hour, I asked how long it was going to be? My response was We are not sure, the phone has been very busy. Terrible customer service!

I am usually the first person to tell everyone how great Kroger is however there are times when the coupons dont come off as they should. it is frustrating but more frustrating are the employees who instead of calling the manager on duty up to help them let a customer stand at the register for 15-plus minutes trying to get the extra dollar off my bill. only one person could do it I was told but when I asked if there was a manager on duty. There was. why didnt she come help? At this point I had to leave. I have been standing there for over 15 minutes waiting for her to come fix the error with my bill. I then asked for customer service number I was told they didnt know the customer service number they came out with a phone number that might be the right number.I then told the girl that Im sure with this being such a big company that somebodys asked for the customer service phone number before she said not really... I will no longer tell people how great Kroger is and how great the deals are when you have to fight for them and deal with employees that dont know a customer service phone number.. All employees should have access to a customer service number or call for a manager to help

This is my regular grocery store for several reasons. There are plenty of options for everyhting on your grocery list and the prices are totally reasonable. Becoming a Kroger Plus member is definetly worth it for all of the coupons the send!! The one thing I wouldnt recommend in this store is the pharmacy; its always a pain in the butt.

Worst place ever. Managers have no customer service skills. I ordered a cake on Oct 13th 2016 for a pick up date of November 6th 2016 and they called me on November 6th at 1150 to tell me the cake was not prepared or available because they couldnt locate the cake kit. Mind you my pick up time for the cake was 12pm and we were standing in the store about to pick up perishable items for the party that was to happen at 1pm. I was outraged and hurt for my 4 year old. They were not at all worried about what kind of trouble this had caused me. The bakery manage just wanted to argue to make himself seem he was in the right. He said he was still trying that morning to locate the kit, yet there was no cake ready at all!! If they found the kit they must of been planning on putting it in a box with no cake. I could have purchased the kit myself, had it delivered and took it to them had they just communicated. So disappointed in the store, the managers, and the experience.

Poorly trained cashiers and manager on duty. I had to leave $170 groceries because the cashier pushed wrong buttons and manager did not know how to fix. They wanted to void it out and start all over?!? I will never shop there again. I had also noticed a bad smell in the store the last several months. Almost moldy.

This particular store is a mess. I continually find rotten fruits and vegetables in the produce section and just general clutter in the store. No other Kroger is like this one.
